So as I stated in the author's note, I'm reediting the story. Again, sorry to those of you who really enjoyed the original version but justice must be done! Now yes, there will be a plot besides just redoing the episodes, a little bit of swearing, rivalries, and villains. As for the romance, I'm keeping it light for now. No need for it to get heavy to the point where it's outta control. That wouldn't be pretty for some people, myself included. Although, I'll admit it now: you'll need to keep a lookout for the couples because my lips are sealed when I'm not doing the story. So I won't be answering any questions like that. Sorry. And if you don't like this, please don't start throwing flaming baseballs. *shivers* I don't need a repeat of that... *cough* Anyway!

I just want to thank Sunnythefox19, Guest, Sonicxmlp, and NintendoMLP for the reviews of Chapter 5. That's like some kinda energy boost for me. Now I'll start with answering the questions before I shut up.

Sunnythefox19: *chuckles* Didn't you read the author's note? I'm just not satisfied with it.

Sonicxmlp: All I can say is time will tell.

NintendoMLP: Yep, this is basically a rewrite. I'll update the next story soon, that's for sure.

And now for the disclaimer. I don't own Sonic(SEGA) or My Little Pony(Hasbro)

Characters: Don't worry, they'll be easy to identify in the Prologue.

Prologue...

"Sonic!"

A bunch of different voices pounded away at his head.

"Sonic!"

Harsh wind smacked him in the face, forcing him to shield his eyes.

"Sonic, look out!"

The ticking from before grew louder until it painfully thundered in his ears. He so badly wanted to rip them off, but that would only make things worse. A bunch of random memories flashed in his mind.

"Get up Sonic! We're not finished with our battle yet! You may have freed your girlfriend, but that doesn't mean I still can't obliterate you! HohoHOOO!"

"Laugh on this Eggman!" a voice growled venomously.

There was a sudden low hum and then a high pitched whine. A cry of pain followed shortly afterwards.

"Knuckles!"

"The emeralds!"

A scream.

"Cream!"

"Chaos...SPEAR!"

"What the-!?"

"What's this!?"

"Amy, look out!"

Emerald eyes snapped open as Sonic bolted upwards in a panic. Where was he? Where were his friends? Were they okay? What happened with Eggman? What happened period? And... oh man, why did he hurt all over?

"Hey, easy there. The healing spell is still taking effect."

Sonic tensed. Someone else was here with him, wherever here was, and he was in no condition to fight. Well, he wasn't about to to admit that out loud. He jumped to his feet... only to yelp when he collapsed to the ground. What the heck?

There was a quiet gasp and then"Oh my gosh, are you okay?" soon soft footsteps made their way over to his downed form. The voice was feminine and it sounded friendly enough. Sonic wasn't about to let his guard down yet though, but it couldn't hurt to respond back.

He grunted. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's not like I-" whatever else he was gonna say, died in his throat when he got a good look at the person he was talking to.

A horse. No, it was smaller than the average horse. So, a pony. A pony with a horn on it-well her head. So basically, he was talking to a unicorn. Weren't those creatures he'd find in Cream's fairy tale books? They're not real! I mean, gods, genies, wizards, knights, aliens, and now... unicorns? What's next? Fairies? Dragons? The Boogie Man?

He would've pointed out that he was talking to a unicorn, but a thought came to his mind. He was big blue talking hedgehog who could break the sound barrier with his speed. Yeah, that may have been normal for him and his friends, but some people back home still had a hard time grasping that very idea. So, you know what? He wasn't about to make a deal out of this. Speaking of which, was he even on Mobius anymore? ...With this unicorn here, maybe not. But it wouldn't hurt to still check.

The... lavender pony masked her face in concern, her violet eyes scanning over his wounds. "I'm sorry I couldn't patch those up earlier, I ran out of supplies. But don't worry, I've sent Spike out to get some more. In the mean time, my healing spell will have to do."

Spike? Healing spell?

"What?" was Sonic's brilliant answer.

The unicorn's look changed into a apologetic one. "Right, sorry. I guess I should explain. Well, in order: Spike is my assistant. I found you all cut up and bruised last night and it took Spike and I an hour just to get you back to the house. And I checked for supplies but didn't find any. So as we speak Spike is out getting some more supplies. Until then, you're stuck with the healing spell I've put on you since last night. My name is Twilight Sparkle by the way."

Sonic smiled. "Nice to meet you Twilight. I'm Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog!"

He expected a smile or a nod in return, not a confused look.

"A hedgehog? That's not possible. You're an earth pony."

A what pony?

"What?" There was that brilliant answer again.

"You know? A pony without a horn for magic? Or wings to fly with?"

The heck? There were pegasuses here too? And magic existed? ...But then again, he shouldn't have been all that surprised since he was talking to a unicorn. Wait a minute. He was getting off track.

Sonic frowned. "Sorry but I think you're mistaking me for someone else. I'm a hedgehog."

Twilight didn't look convinced. "I think you might've hit your head against something before I found you."

At this point, Sonic twitched his ear. He was becoming annoyed. He really wasn't in the mood for this right now. His body hurt all over, a headache was coming along, and he was talking to a unicorn who claimed he was one of their kind. This wasn't how he wanted his day to start out.

"Look Twilight, I was born a hedgehog and I'll die a hedgehog, okay?" So maybe that was a little harsh, but his headache was growing worse.

There was a moment of silence until...

"Hold on. I'll be back in a minute or two."

Sonic watched Twilight trot down the stairs and caught a glimpse of a book next to the first step. And now that he noticed it, there were bookshelves filled all over the place. Huh, he was in a library... no problem with that.

It wasn't even a full minute later when Twilight returned with a mirror... a mirror which was covered in a light magenta glow and floating. It'd looked like Silver wasn't the only one he knew who could use telekinesis anymore. Said object stopped just in front of his face.

"Now," Twilight started, walking over, "look in the mirror and tell me what you see."

Sonic suppressed the urge to roll his eyes. "Yes mom."

Honestly, what was the point of doing this? He knew he was gonna see his regular cool blue hedgehog self no matter what. This was ju-

The face of a blue pony stared back at him. Wait, what the hell?

Sonic quickly rubbed his eyes and tried again.

He didn't see a peach-furred muzzle, a long thin black nose, triangular ears (okay, so he still had those, but they weren't exactly the ones he was used to) and not the usual eyes. Instead he saw a blue short-furred pony staring back with no trace of peach anywhere on his face. His snout was a bit longer, his ears were more horse-okay pony-like, and even his eyes were a bit different. True, the pupils were still a nice emerald green, but the eye shape was just like Twilight's. Slowly, he looked over the rest of his body. No gloves, peach-furred arms and stomach, short pointy tail, socks, and shoes. Hell, he didn't even have quills anymore! Instead was a body similar to Twilight, only a little bigger and you know blue, white fore hooves, red back hooves, a darker mane and tail, and a tattoo of a lightning bolt and three wind swirls on his, err, flank. Only one thought formed in his mind.

'Next time I see that egghead, I'm gonna kick him whe-

Before he could finish that rather dark thought, Twilight brought him back to the land of the living.

"Now do you believe me?"

He wanted to deny her right on the spot, but for now he'd play along.

"Yeah."

"Okay, do you have anymore questions?" Twilight asked once she put the mirror away.

Yes. There was just this one particular question he wanted to ask at the moment. "What's with the tattoo on my rear?"

Twilight rose a brow. "Tattoo on your rear?" after a moment, her eyes lit up with realization. "You mean your cutie mark?" a shrug was the blue hedgehog-turned-earth pony's response, "Your cutie mark is a symbol that represents your talent. You know, as in what your best at?"

"That's all?" Sonic asked with a tilt to his head.

"Yes. How do you not know what a cutie mark is?" Twilight asked with a curious tone.

Oh, its because I'm actually a hedgehog from a different world and I wake up to find out I'm a pony. Weird huh? Yesterday I was a giant hedgehog, and now today I'm something called an earth pony. But hey, that's no problem, right? Yeah, tell that to just about anyone and they'll think there's something wrong with you for a good while.

So naturally, Sonic changed the subject. "So, uh, what does your cutie mark mean?"

Twilight narrowed her eyes slightly. She'd answer and play along for now. But there was something odd about her guest.

"I'm just really good with magic. But may I ask you a question?"

"Shoot."

"Your cutie mark, what does it mean?" as she curiously observed his newly named cutie mark. "I've seen and met earth ponies with wind swirls, but never before one with a lightning bolt."

"Oh that's easy." Sonic grinned. "World's fastest pony at your service." as he thumbed, er, hooved his chest proudly.

His desired effect, however, didn't play. In fact, Twilight looked skeptical.

"Right." her voice laced with sarcasm. "And I'm a alicorn."

"I'm serious." Sonic frowned.

Twilight shook her head. "Sorry, but I think somepony already claimed that title." A pegasus pony in Ponyville who went by the name of Rainbow Day. Or was it Rainbow Dash? She didn't really know that much. Besides, The Wonderbolts had some pretty fast flyers. Anyway, her point was a pegasus pony could accomplish such speeds. They were among the fastest out of all the types of ponies in Equestria. But an earth pony? Not likely.

"Well, when I'm all healed, I'll show you just how fast I really am." Sonic challenged. He couldn't wait to see the look on her face when he zipped from one tree to another. Suddenly, the sound of opening doors decided to play through the air.

"Twilight! I'm back with the supplies! And I'm not alone!" a child-like voice called.

"Okay Spike!" Twilight called back.

A unicorn he was already getting used to. But an actual baby dragon treading up the steps was another thing. A dragon. Her assistant was a living, breathing, purple and green-scaled dragon... Well, time to cross that off the What's Next list.

Spike paused when his eyes landed on Sonic. Offering a friendly smile, he said. "Oh hi. It's nice to see you awake. I'm Spike, Twilight's assistant. And you are?"

Coming out of his surprised state, Sonic's words finally started to form.

"Oh, uh, I'm Sonic."

"Nice to meet you Sonic. Wanna be friends?"

Sonic smiled. "Sure thing."

"Well, I see you're doing better."

All heads turned to the tall white pony as she reached the top of the stairs. An air of superiority flowed around her. Immediately, Sonic got the impression that he was dealing with royalty.

The words that came next out of Twilight's mouth proved his suspicions right. "Princess Celestia!" and she rushed up to hug the princess.

Celestia smiled down at her favorite student as she returned the hug. "Twilight Sparkle, I haven't seen you in a while. Are things going well?"

The unicorn eagerly nodded as they departed. "Oh, everything's fine. I was just tending to my guest." she gestured over to Sonic, who by now sat on the floor watching the whole exchange.

The white alicorn frowned at the sight of his injuries. "My dear, are you alright?"

"Don't worry about me princess," he smiled in assurance, "I'll be fine." Was it just him? Or did a spark of caution flash in her palish pink eyes? What did he do? It's not like his body was at its best right now.

Celestia nodded with a smile. "Forgive me. My name is Princess Celestia, ruler of Equestria. And you mentioned earlier your name was Sonic?" She watched with careful eyes as the blue earth pony rose a brow at the mention of Equestria, nodding in response. Her suspicions were proven correct. "I hope you don't mind me asking, but where are you from?"

Sonic stiffened. He couldn't say he was from another planet. The outcome was already established. And saying that to a princess? He'd probably be kicked out the kingdom. Plus, he didn't know this world well enough to give an official answer. So there was only one thing left to do.

"Oh, I don't live anywhere. I travel a lot." he answered in a very convincing tone.

The princess didn't look convinced at all. "Really? If you don't mind, what was the name of your last stop?"

Crap. "Uh... Neighing Town?"

The alicorn shook her head. "You're not from around here, are you?"

...

"Was it that obvious?"

"Besides the name of the fake town? No, it wasn't. I do, however, sense an odd energy flowing from your very being."

Sonic's eyes widened. She could sense his Chaos energy? This princess must've been awfully powerful in order to do so.

"You're able to sense my Chaos energy?"

The princess nodded. "Yes." It was quite obvious this pony wasn't of this world. Well, she doubt he was even a pony to begin with. This wasn't the first time she's dealt with other worldly visitors. She even glanced at another herself at one point. Glimpses of a certain mirror flashed through her mind... before she shook her head to rid of it. Now wasn't the time to think about that.

A sigh gained her attention.

"Somehow, I knew you were gonna say that." Sonic's eyes met Twilight's for a brief moment, before he suddenly found the floor far more interesting. "Alright everybody, it's story time."

I'm ending it here because I'm not gonna reveal everything about the accident just yet. Sooooo... how was it? Good? Bad? Great? Terrible? I'll let you decided in the reviews. *waves* Guess I'll seeya tomorrow with Chapter 1.

Knuckles' voice in the distance: SONIC! Get back here!

Sonic: *passes me with a paintbrush tipped in pink*

*facepalms* Aw geez.
