Behind her smiles and laughter, he knew she was crying inside. Her screams were muffled. No one gave a second glance, though he could hear them loud and clear.

Loosing partners was common and inevitable on the battlefield, but what she went through... it was a miracle she was still standing. To go through so much sorrow, yet still be kind and understanding... How she was able to talk to Miko while Bulkhead was fighting for his life, how she was able to understand what was knotting inside of him. If she hadn't made him see how he was pushing Bulk away, he would have lost his only friend. And he thanked her for it.

Going through loss the first time is difficult for a young solider. To go through it another time... it could just about kill a mech. She must have punished herself everyday for what she couldn't do.

Night was coming, and the day was about to close. What time was it? They must have been sitting there for hours. The Wrecker picked himself up.

"I'm not patrol tonight, so I better go check in..."

Turning, he found himself wrapped in a hug. He gently placed his arms around her. Finally, he was getting somewhere.

"I don't want to loose you, too..."

He placed his hands on her shoulders.

"Hey, I'm a Wrecker," he smiled. "It's gonna take more than a few duds to get rid of me."

She knew pain for so many centuries. He hoped to plant flowers in the places that rained most inside of her. Day by day, he hoped to heal where her spark hurt the most. He'd do anything to make her smile again.
