Hello everyone.
I know that many of you, most of you actually, probably hate me for not updating my Percy Jackson story in over eight months at this point. That is understandable. Since you all seem to be very highly invested in the continuation of my story, I'm going to be blunt with you:
I have lost almost all drive to write this story. Not because I'm bored with it, but because of the associations I have with it. This was the story I was working on when my aunt, who was my closest family member besides my mother, passed away from sudden and aggressive colon cancer which had spread to her lymph nodes. This was also the story I was working on when I fell into a bout of severe depression, almost culminating in an attempt on my own life. I wrote the story in first person present tense based on the advice of a dear friend of mine, who has since moved to California and I have not seen them in over five months.
So, as one could probably guess, I have quite a few reservations about writing this story. But since I really don't want to abandon something that you all seem to love so much, I think I'm going to re-edit it, like I did for my HP story. So that will be what I will be doing over the course of the next couple weeks, so please accept my apologies for not working on the story lately, but in my opinion my reasons were pretty damn good.
Good day, Selacha.
