Demyx's POV

I groaned sleepily into Zexy's hair as the bells tolled on to wake us up. I hugged Zexion—my princess—closer to my body only to notice that her back was leaner than before we went to bed. I opened an eye blearily to look at her, a gasp escaping my lips.

Slowly as I did, Zexion mumbled something as she—no, he lifted his face from my chest. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked, rubbing his eyes from sleep. "You seem… happy this morning. Please stop."

"Zexy, if you would see yourself in the mirror now, I think you would know why I'm grinning," I smiled, placing a chaste kiss on his lips. Now, he looked really confused. Cute.

"Will you just tell me?" Zexy asked, lifting himself up with his elbows as he looked unimpressed towards me.

"What if I told you a story instead?"

"Demyx, you are not making any sense to me."

"Fine. I'll just let you answer this question instead. What story has a prince who changed form when he was kissed by a princess?"

"The Princess and the Frog, you mean. What's that got to do with—oh."

"Yes, sweetheart. Oh."

Demyx could actually feel some form of happiness that was seeping through his poker-faced lover as they walked towards the dining hall, hand in hand. Before they started walking to the dining hall, Demyx had the time of his life. Once Zexion got up from the bed, Demyx whistled appreciatively at the sight before him, making the other blush and glare from the embarrassment he had to suffer. Apparently, the nightdress Zexion wore that night still clung onto him.

It took a few minutes before Zexion could finally make him go and bathe without the latter attacking his neck.

"You know, you could smile if you're this happy," Demyx teased, swinging their hands back and forth. "I mean, come on. I could feel that you're pretty much relieved that you're a boy again."

Zexion gave him the look and Demyx just grinned.

"My smiles are only reserved for you, and becoming a boy again and being with you isn't the only reason why I feel so radiated," Zexion hummed, giving Demyx a small, devious smile.

"You're gonna kick Vexen's ass, aren't you?"

"Oh, you don't know how much self-restraint I'm having. I've been itching to place my hands on his neck for a long time," Zexion said, leaning onto Demyx's shoulder. They were nearing the dining hall right now, and they could faintly hear the sound of chaos that was erupting inside the room. "Imagine their surprise when they see me."

"Yeah, Larxene and the girls would really miss their dress-up doll," Demyx laughed as they stopped in front of the doors. "I think I'll miss that as well, since this morning—"

"Don't you dare bring that up while we're eating later," Zexion hissed at him, making the other nuzzle his face against his hair.

"Why not?" Demyx asked all so teasingly, although there was a trace of mischief in them. Zexion merely slapped his arm. "Ouch!"

"One word and you won't get any kisses for a week," Zexion said sternly, Demyx gaping at the words.

"You wouldn't."

"Watch me," Zexion retorted, bonking his head lightly. "Now come, I think we've bickered long enough—"

"Can I get a kiss?" Demyx supplied thoughtfully. Zexion, bless his soul, blinked his eyes in surprise. "I mean, you haven't kissed me yet, since apparently, I'm the one who's always making the first move—"

"And you brought this up now?" Zexion was amazed and also, a bit surprised at the same time. "Why not before when we were in your room?"

"Well, it just kind of… you know, came in," Demyx gave him a spectacular smile that made his lover splutter and go red in embarrassment. "Or, we could just do it later tonight, you know, before we—"

Suddenly, he was dragged down by his collar and his lips were pressed onto the other's shaking ones. With a small grin, he happily kissed the other back, his hands snaking on Zexion's hips, almost lifting up in happiness.

After a few moments, they broke off the same time, breathing heavily as they touched each other's forehead with their own, smiling and chuckling.

"You don't know how long I've wanted to do that," Zexion admitted freely to Demyx, a light blush and a small smile showing on his face. "I should have done this sooner, kissing you."

"Yeah, ditto," Demyx replied, giving him one last kiss before he opened the doors and into the chaos, they call, their family.

A/N: Here it is! I'm so sorry if this is so short, but I'll try to make more stories if you'd want!

Again, another sorry if I posted this three months late! It was the last months in school, and I had to make up for my grades and finish everything so that I could go on next year. Plus, there were a lot of downs and problems that I couldn't even get a hold of.

I've been apologizing every chapter, but I hope that me active this summer makes it all up instead. :)) Thank you for the followers and reviews and favourites you gave to this story. This was the first one I've done and finish, and it makes me proud and happy to know that you like this. Thank you again!
