Epilogue

Danor rushed towards his father as soon as he stepped through the door, "Father! Father!" He cried, a grin spread across his handsome young face. Altair tousled his son's short blonde hair before making his way towards his wife propped up in bed. "I have a sister!" Danor leapt onto the cushions beside his mother and gently stroked the tufts of dark hair upon Samia's head.

The Master Assassin remained silent as he ran a gloved fingertip along the new-born's jawline.

Evangeline slowly raised the bundle up towards Altair, and the Master Assassin – without question - took the child into his arms and scolded his oldest son for jumping on the bed, "Danor, stop jostling your mother." His amber eyes looked down at the sleeping face of his second born.

He was upset that he did not have another son, but Al Mualim's words returned to him, "…you will have daughters as beautiful as their mother."

Altair had already decided to lock her away until she was eighteen years of age.

A/N: I know the Epilogue is short – but that is exactly how I wanted it to be – short and sweet :)

So there's the final chapter of The Exception of Curiosity! I hope you've all enjoyed reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it :)

If you haven't already read Kept in the Dark, then please do so ;) it's another AltairxOC fanfiction, and if you want another AltairxOC story then please go onto my profile and find my newest Assassin's Creed story Fork in the Road.

Also, before you ask: Yes, there will be a sequel!

I'm already planning what is going to happen – they story will follow Samia (their daughter) on her quest to find herself a husband. It will not be AltairxOC fic because that is just wrong. But Danor, Nathaniel, Naim, and of course Altair, will still be main characters – among many others!

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read this story, and to those special few who have been reviewing since the start of the fic – a big hug for you all! xx
