Chapter 9

"Now die!" Garmadon shouted as he charged at the 2 sorcerers. Fear struck them, they had never imagined how powerful all 4 weapons combined could be. They know they won't be able to reflect this hit. The 4 ninja covered their eyes from the glow and Prim held Lloyd even tighter. Even through their eye lids, they could see the bright light from their weapons. Once the bright light disappeared, they saw nothing but ashes where Prim's parents used to be.

Prim didn't feel any pity towards her parents. She wasn't upset that her parents were dead. They deserved what they got. She looked down to Lloyd. He was white, his face became bony. He was losing too much blood.

"He got away!" Kai hissed.

"With our weapons!" Jay exclaimed and ran through the house looking for Garmadon.

"He even left his nearly-dead son!" Cole shouted and ran to Prim and took Lloyd into his arms and checked his pulse. Zane walked over with Kai while Jay searched the place.

"I'm sorry about your parents," Zane said to Prim as he rested his hand on her shoulder.

"It's alright… They were never good people," Prim smiled.

"We need to get Lloyd to a hospital and fast. Jay, we need your jet!"

"Garmadon took my jet!" They all face palmed.

"Ok, we go by foot then," Cole ordered and held Lloyd in his arms and dashed out with the others following.

"Wait for me!" Jay shouted as he tried to catch up.

Primrose's POV

It had been 3 months since the death of my parents. Lloyd is about to be released out of the hospital for the first time. I looked at the bounty. It was covered in green decorations. There was not a cloud to be seen and the sun is out and shining. In the middle of the decks was a table with many dishes of delicious meals Zane had cooked. Jay had managed to make some new sails which were green with white writing: Welcome back Lloyd! Nya and I had gone to the shops and brought many flower bushes in clay pots and decorated the bounty in that as well.

"Ok, I'm off to pick him up!" Cole shouted. Sadly, they don't want me to be with him when they pick him up. I can already see the disappointed look on his face. I have only seen him 5 times over the 3 months, each for about 5 hours. 25 hours out of… 1000 or so… I waved Cole good bye and walked over to rails and looked to the ocean. There had been funny things happening lately since Lloyd's father got the ninja weapons but they weren't too serious. Plus there had been some oil spillage in the ocean. They still recommend everyone out of the water but it looked normal. Jay and Nya had managed to make some cars for them to travel in. I watched as Cole drove off. We were docked on a beach which no one visits due to jelly fish sightings. This beach has lots which wash on shore. This part of the Ninjago Ocean is well known for Jelly fish habitat and mating area. I looked back to the water and saw two little jelly fishes. I smiled and watched the two swim around each other and disappearing behind a pink coral shaped of a heart. I giggled and returned back to the table to shoo away the flies.

My mind wondered back to Lloyd. When he come back… Would he even talk to me? I have only seen him a little bit of times and it wasn't my fault! Would he hate me for not visiting as often as the others had been? These thoughts made me upset. I soon heard Cole's car returning. I went back inside and told the others. They rushed out onto the decks but I stayed behind. I was super excited but at the same time nervous. Then I heard the cried of everyone calling out his name and welcoming him back. I walked out of the dining room and stayed behind.

"Where's Prim?" I heard Lloyd asked. The other was quiet and turned their heads to me. Then I saw his face, for the first time in 2 weeks. His hair was now groomed into a side band. He suddenly ran at me and brought me into his arms… I missed being in his grasp again. I hugged him back.

"Hi," I smiled and looked into his eyes.

"Why didn't you visit much?" He asked, I could tell he was hurt.

"It wasn't her fault, it was my discussion," Wu declared.

"But why?" Lloyd asked.

"We thought it would be better because you would get really excited and you can cause harm to your own body," Sensei explained but I buried my face into his shoulder like we did when we were trapped in my parents' house.

"Oh…" Lloyd sighed, I kissed his cheek and he smiled again.

"Please don't do that," Kai sighed.

"Is it because you can't find a girl for yourself?" Zane asked. We all laughed.

"Nice one Zane!" Jay cheered.

"Come on, there's a delicious cake to be eaten!" Cole exclaimed.

"After lunch, how many times do I have to tell you?" Nya laughed as she tried stopping Cole. I could tell Lloyd was happy to be back.

"Ready for lunch?" I asked.

"Yes! No more hospital food!" And we all laughed and we sat around the table.

We walked along the beach with hand in hand, the breeze blowing through our hair. The saltiness in the air filled my nose. The sun was sitting on the horizon.

"How does it feel to be out of hospital?" I asked.

"A huge relief, no more the same food every meal, stiff beds, that awful smell and… trust me, the list can go on forever," He said and I laughed. "So… No sights of my father?"

"No… I'm sorry," I sighed.

"So he disappeared right after he killed your parents?"

"Yeah."

"And you're not upset?"

"Nope, they had killed so many people. Now they know what it feels like," I sighed and held onto his arm.

"Ok…" Lloyd said and smiled. "So what's going to happen after this?"

"I don't know to be honest," What is going to happen? We're just 10 year olds after all… who had survived some torture from my parents.

"Well… I've heard my father got the weapons."

"Yeah…" My voice trailed off when I saw a plane gliding through the sky releasing a white cloud. Then it spelled out 'I love you Prim'. "You didn't."

"But I did," He laughed as I jumped onto him.

"But how?"

"It's Jay, I managed to get him a deal."

"A deal?"

"Yeah… But don't worry about it," He laughed as we both fell into the sand. "Hey… isn't this the Jelly Fish beach?"

"Yeah but they don't come out at this hour of the day," I giggled as I watched his curious head turned to search for them.

"That's good. Got stung by one once… Not one of my fave animals anymore."

"It used to be your favorite animal?" I asked before laughing.

"They looked like jelly."

"That's the point," I smiled. We were silent for the next couple of minutes until I broke it.

"It's a beautiful sunset," I said.

"Nothing compared to you," Lloyd said back. I could feel my cheeks burning up. Suddenly he stopped and I looked up into his green eyes. "I know what to do now."

"And what is that?"

"Something we haven't done for a long time," he answered and placed his lips on mine.

Sorry, it's a short chapter but that's the end of the story. I got some excellent news though; Kaze Walker is going to write the next story for this book. So look out for it! And check out my poll on what story I should write next after I've finish these 6 stories.
