:X Personal Instructor :X

Tetsuna watched the birds flew away to the sky.

Continously watching, her mind didn't register the shouts of the teams who were practicing in lunch break. No one paid no heed to her, and gave her peacefulness. It was the time Tetsuna liked the most, peace and calm.

"Tetsuna-chan, I brought you some juices!" Momoi put her juice to Tetsuna's cheek. The cold yet comforting feeling touched her warm body.

The girl nodded, thanking her. "It's nearing summer, it must be hot, right?" Momoi complained, sitting next to her, as she opened her juice. Orange juice it was. "So refreshing."

Tetsuna herself opened her juice, feeling refreshed by the taste. Her sleepiness was gone by now. "Momoi-san, aren't you going to watch the basketball team practice? Tomorrow's their first practice match." She asked.

Momoi raised up her hand and shook it, "A girl needs her break. Besides, I need to make notes for Dai-chan for his tests." Her hand organized her long pink hair. "I'll go there after school."

"Aomine-kun is an idiot afterall." She smiled a bit. "I won't watch the practice today, sorry."

This time the one who asked was Momoi, she curiously asked why Tetsuna isn't watching the practice. She stated that the girl almost watched every practice they had. "I'm not in the mood.." Tetsuna simply answered, her eyes darting. "Like you said, a girl needs her break."

Momoi giggled. "Well, you're right." Her eyes traveled to the sky. "And the weather today is enjoyable, you would rather walk around rather than watching some barbarians practice, right? I want to do that too."

The two girls chatted for a while before the bell rings. For once, they had a great time together as girls, even having a one-sided girl talks (Tetsuna mostly listened.)

"Aren't we missing something today?"

Midorima asked out of the blue, grabbing a ball to shoot a three-pointer once again. He went into his shooting stance, and jumped. The ball went in perfectly with claps being the background music. It was amazing how he could make it within that long range.

The others shrugged their shoulders, except the Generation of Miracles. "You're right.." Kise realized. "Oh! It's.."

"Kuroko, it's Kuroko." Nijimura yawned, entering the gym with his school wear. Everyone else blinked, knowing well that's true. "Since she had always watched our practice, it's been a routine for you all right?" even though her presence isn't really well-known. The captain sighed, that girl can literally disappear anytime.

"She didn't come in lunch break too.." Kise frowned. "Senpai, do you know anything?"

"The hell I do." He grumbled. "I'm going to change."

Akashi chuckled. "It's rare that Midorima notice such things, what happened to you?" He teased.

"N-nothing happened." The shooter looked at the other way, hiding the blush that carept to his face."Seriously.." He picked up another ball to shoot, only to be stolen by the giant, Murasakibara. Midorima sighed a bit, but picked up another ball.

"Oh, Murasakibara. You came."

Murasakibara nodded, although rather lazily. "Tomorrow's our practice match, right~?"

The ace appeared, with the manager. "Yea!" Aomine said enthusiastically. "Uwaa, I can't wait for tomorrow. My fingers are shaking." He looked at his shaking hands, while grinning.

The only girl sighed, holding her head with her palm. "Aomine-kun, you're embarrassing."

"I can't help it!"

Akashi glanced at the manager. "Well, if you ask Momoi, you'll know, right?" He said calmly, "Momoi, where's Kuroko? The others has been wondering." He explained.

"Ah. Tetsuna-chan wants to take a cool off for awhile, watching you barbarians everyday isn't a very keen sight." She out her hands to her hip. "Aah, if only I can keep her company too."

"Quit slacking off and practice freshmen!" The captain walked into the room and ordered them to practice. He already wore his basketball shoes, and a ball on his left hand. He twirled it before loudly exclaiming, "Faster!"

Murasakibara groaned inwardly. Seriously, Nijimura didn't need to speak so loud like that. What if his eardrums break someday? The medical fees are sure going to the Nijimura household.

Tetsuna slipped to the crowd easily—of course, because of her low presence. She grabbed her money and gave it to the staff, and exited the shop without any trouble. She heaved a sigh, a sweat rolled from her forehead. Flapping her hand like a fan, she looked at the thing she bought with a slight proud glint from her eyes.

It was the latest book from her most favorite author. The genre was romance and suspense, she knew it. But she bought it anyway even though she didn't like romance too much. She needs references, and she read the summary and at least it was decent for her.

It all began when she read the email that was sent to her with the link of a forum dedicated to her.

Anonymous : Shadow-senpai, for your next project; Can you make a romance based story? And using a first POV too, please!

Someone started the thread, and everyone agreed to it. Her fans wanted to see Shadow write a romance story, it seems. And because of the continuous support they gave to her, Tetsuna couldn't refuse the request.

Well, it could be the time to test her abilities. She didn't mind.

Speaking of which, they must be practicing right now. It's not that late, should she go?

She decided she should go and observe them like always, it could be a good reference for her to see a guy's personality and she could use it for her project. Before she could walk further to Teiko, a book caught her attention.

She made a step to the store.

As expected of an otome store. They sell anything that a girl loves, games, novels, posters, etc. Of course, it's not a normal girl store. Tetsuna couldn't believe what was in front of her, a poster with two boys.. heading for a kiss, huh, she couldn't believe that girls loves that kind of thing. She sure don't.

But she braced herself and walked through it, to the light novels part. Girls tends to love romance after all, this was the perfect store if she wanted some reference, except for the.. yaoi part of course. It was grossing her out.

She opened the book to take a peek, and she closed it immediately. She kept her poker face and went to the CDs to see what they have there, as a result, she stopped the track and walked out of the store with a bag written 'otome's zone'. Although she barely looked like she was forced, she kept her poker face as usual.

Tetsuna will go to drink some vanilla milkshake to calm herself down.

All the things she does for her readers.

"Greetings!" The coach yelled, his voice echoing through the gym.

"Osu!" Two teams bowed at each other as they said their greetings; shaking hands and wishing for a great match. Their grip were strong, and neither of them intended to lose. The game starts after a few seconds of discussion.

Shirogane gazes at his disciples. "I don't have to say any words of encouragement. Just win, like our motto." The team nodded and huddled up, bringing their strength together. "Yosh!"

Of course, his height wins towards the rival's center, Murasakibara smacked the ball as it went to Nijimura's hands. Nijimura dribbled it slowly as the team formed their position, "First point!" He encouraged.

He passed the ball to a senior, and he was blocked from dribbling. The senior scowled, and found a gap between the blocker's legs. The ball went to Midorima's hands, as he went into shooting position quickly.

"Three points! Okay!" The senior yelled, pumping his fist.

"Calm down! We'll take the point back." The opposing team calmly said and instructed the team.

"Sorry~ But I won't let you do that." Murasakibara hovered over the shooter. And he smacked the ball from his grasp.

A whistle blow voiced out. "Out of bounds!"

Momoi tapped her pen to her book, carefully watching the match. Their opponent holds no threat for Teiko's victory, it seems. They can win this. She scribbled down her data so far. "Momoi-san." Greeted a girl with long teal hair.

"Tetsuna-chan." Momoi noticed the girl's presence. "It's good you can see this. Finally, I can have a break of those annoying shrieks of Ki-chan's fangirls." She huffed. Her gaze returned to the match once more. "Ah, Dai-chan screwed up..." She sighed.

Tetsuna looked over to the tanned. "He should've count his steps before going for a lay-up..." She mumbled, watching every movement the players did. Tetsuna loved to observe, and that's one thing she's very good at.

"We're going to do this quick, guys!" Nijimura exclaimed, bringing the spirits back to his team.

"Member change!"

And the match continued until it was over. 36-20 in Teiko's favor.

"Thank you for the match!" They bowed and shake hands once more to end the match, the coaches met with each other and thanked each other for a good game. The audiences soared, glad that their school won. Of course, Teiko would never lose.

"Kuroko-cchii!" Tetsuna stumbled upon the sudden weight to her. She coughed at how tight the arms were holding her, and how close the person is. He grinned and snuggled to her hair. "I miss you~"

Apparently Kise didn't realize the death glares behind him. If looks could kill.

"Kise-kun, please release me. You're suffocating me, and you smell like dirt." Tetsuna closed her eyes and released herself from Kise's embrace.

From behind, Momoi giggled. How blunt she is, and Kise's quite straightforward to his feelings as well.

Murasakibara stepped in. "Kuro-chin~ I'm hungry." He complained and put his arms to Tetsuna's shoulders.

Tetsuna opened her mouth to say that he's heavy, until a lollipop went inside her mouth. She blinked, looking at the lollipop. Soda flavored... She felt grossed out.

"Ah, sorry. That's soda." He apologized without any intent. He pulled out the lollipop and stared at it, "Wanted to give you a treat for coming to watch at lunch break. Since you haven't eaten, I guess. Well, then I'll eat this then."

A hand snatched away the lollipop. It was Aomine's. "Oi, Murasakibaraa. What the hell are you doing to Tetsu?" He grumbled.

"Eating."

"What Tetsu ate earlier." Aomine added, a vein twitching.

"Um, so what's the matter?"

Before Aomine could continue his one-sided argue with the center, Midorima ushered them to stop as he informed the coach is going to treat them a fried chicken. They blinked and started to drool. A fried chicken after a practice match is the best.

"Kuroko, you could come if you like." Akashi smiled to her.

She declined the offer, "No, besides I'm not part of the team."

"Nonsense! You helped me analyze the datas." Momoi said. "You should come! And don't let me be alone with these men over here, Tetsuna-chan." She joked, pulling Tetsuna's hand into hers.

Tetsuna sighed. "If you say so, Momoi-san."

"Yay! Kuroko-cchi will join us." Kise cheered, and followed Tetsuna like a loyal dog he is.

"Jealous?" Akashi stated, furrowing his right eye to the green haired shooter.

Midorima rubbed his head. "Why would you think so?"

"No reason."

The fried chicken was absolutely delicious. It was fried well. The texture, the crispy feeling, and the sauce added perfection.

"Uwooohhh." Aomine cried happy tears. "This is..." He munched. "fweking gwoot!"

Midorima rolled his eyes to him. "At least speak normally." He looked at the others, they weren't that different from Aomine. But it can't be helped, the chicken is really good. "Well... At least they're not like that species over there." He gazed at Kise who was begging Tetsuna to feed him.

"You can eat by yourself." Tetsuna ate another piece. "That's why you have both hands, see?"

Kise pouted, "But I'm tired~"

Nijimura nudged Akashi, "Are they always like that?"

"Not always, but yeah." Akashi answered.

"I pity you."

"I pity myself too."

To Kise's displeasure, Tetsuna won't feed him even though he asked the girl countless times. He looked at the other side, and had an idea.

Tetsuna was about to eat another chicken as half of it was already in her mouth, until Kise took the other half from her mouth. Kise bit the chicken and was about to retreat, when someone accidentally made him lose balance and his lips brushed with her own. She widened her eyes, and swallowed her chicken.

All eyes were on both of them.

Aomine glared at Kise, "Y-you, Kise!" He exclaimed.

"Ki-chan..." Momoi blinked.

The others frowned, completely disagreeing with Kise's behavior.

Kise blinked, and gaped. "Kuroko-cchi—That was an accident, I swear!"

"Kise-chin... Are you starting a war?"

Tetsuna put her chopsticks to the table, and zipped her bag. "I know, it's an accident. Don't fret about it, Kise-kun." She sighed. "I'm sorry, Momoi-san. But I have something I need to do in this hour, it's past four already." She bowed her head.

"Want me to accompany you?" Momoi asked kindly, hoping the other would say yes for once. Unfortunately, her head shook and Momoi shrugged her shoulders. "Okay, then... See you tomorrow." She respected Tetsuna's privacy.

"Kuroko-cchi—"

"Thank you for treating an outsider, coach." Tetsuna thanked the man, as she walked out to the door. "And speak no more, Kise-kun. I already find you annoying, don't get more annoying than this." She deadpanned, sighing.

Soon after she left, the Generation of Miracles glared at their new member who was crawling on the tatami mat. "You seriously don't think you'll get away with that, right?"

Kise gulped.

"Hello?" The other line finally answered, thank goodness.

Tetsuna managed to speak out. "Hello, Ogiwara-kun?"

"What's wrong?" Ogiwara asked, "It's rare you call me. Did something happen?"

"... No. I just want to ask how are you doing, that's all."

"Can't wait for the letter to come, eh?" He joked, she bet he's grinning right now. "I thought we stick up to letters because it's unique."

Tetsuna shrugged. "Just this time... What are you doing?"

"I just got home, how about you?" the sounds of his mother calling out to him were heard.

"I'm heading home right now," She managed a was silent, until he asked what's wrong again. Tetsuna answered, "It's really okay. I'm just a bit startled." Getting excited for that kind of thing... must be puberty. She glanced down, It's better if I don't tell him.

"Kuroko-san." Called a familiar voice.

She whipped her head to meet face to face with Akashi, she blinked and whispered. "I'll talk to you later, Ogiwara-kun."

Akashi stared at her before walking closer to her, just a few inches apart to close the gap between them. "You left this." He brought up a small notebook. He smirked, "You're a novelist... The popular novelist, Shadow?" He chuckled.

Tetsuna accepted the book, muttering a thanks. "Yes, I am... Is that a problem?"

"No." Akashi shrugged his shoulders, leaning to the wall. "You're getting more interesting than I thought." He whispered, not loud enough for her to hear it. "Your work is fascinating, I've read it."

"Thank you again..?" She stared at the vice captain for a while, before tucking her hands to her pocket and let her gaze wandered around the area. They exchanged silent conversations.

"Sorry for what Kise did. Don't worry, he'll receive a brief punishment."

"Please don't kill him."

"I've tried my best." Akashi laughed. It's rare to see him laugh. "Your grades aren't very good, are they? I saw your notebook a bit, you're going to attend supplementary lessons at winter, if you don't study enough."

"I know." Tetsuna mumbled. It irritated her a bit that the genius Akashi was telling her this, "And I still need to write up my novel too..." She muttered under her breath.

The male thought about it for a while, before walking to her again and extracting his hand to her. "I'm willing to tutor you." He offered. "I have a few spare time to spend tutoring you, I don't mind."

"I appreciate the kindness, but—"

"No one are allowed to defy me." He spat but then smiled. "It's a waste if you're wasting an opportunity to skip supplementary lessons. You don't want to be with Aomine and Kise too long, right?"

She found herself in an agreement.

Akashi smirked. "Saturday, 10 o'clock at the library."

And that's how Tetsuna managed to find herself a personal tutor.
