Chapter 1: The First Contact.

One month later, somewhere on the coast of the region of Puglia, Romagna, Year 1944.

It has been a month since the Imperial forces lead by Crown Prince Tatsu was stranded in the alternate world due to the now malfunctioned Time Machine. But within that month, he managed to order his engineers to reestablished Battlefield Control, Communication and Surveillance Network by launching a satellite directly from the Floating Fortress.

Thanks to their newly-launched satellite, the Empire of the Rising Sun's forces finally knew their location which is assumed to be somewhere in Italy and to be more specific, off the coast of the Port City of Bari. Although they are confused with the geographical positions of this particular world where they saw a deformed continent of what has been United States of America and also other geographical deformations around the world.

Then they realized that every country that they supposed to know since they are in another Earth have a different name. Thanks to their intelligence gathering operations done by their Imperial Shinobis, they managed to gain critical knowledge needed regarding this world and the situation this world faces especially their war against an alien race called the Neuroi.

For Crown Prince Tatsu and the Shogunate Commanders, it was the first time they heard about the Neuroi and once encountered these alien species albeit without actually engaging it while its en-route to attack the local forces stationed somewhere in the alternate version of Italy which is Romagna. But what's more intriguing especially for Tatsu is about magic, the Witches and the Joint Fighter Wing that according to his information, they are the only effective means in combating the Neuroi. He, at first, is a bit skeptical about the existence of Magic and the Witches until he witness a footage caught by one of Naomi Shirada's Yari Mini Subs while on patrol and was impressed as he watched the Witches whom according to his intelligence sources are actually the Witches of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing fight against the Neuroi. In his mind, he surely thought the Witches are actual predecessors to the Rocket Angels and he is…somewhat curious to meet them.

But right now, he and the Shogunate Commanders need to rebuild their forces before he can even commit them for expansion. Today he is currently supervising the whole rebuilding operation from his established Command Center while, at the same time, sending current orders to the other Commanders on the next course of action.

Meanwhile,

For Commander Itsuki, he currently ordered his forces to patrol the area after Naomi's fleet finished their patrol shifts. To be honest, he somewhat misses the actions back in his time as he remembered vividly his previous exploits during his campaign against the Soviets and the Allies in which he had gained recognition, respect and most of all…honor by his peers and the Emperor.

"Another day another patrol…well good thing we didn't stumble onto the Allies or the Soviets…for now." Itsuki muttered as he observed the patrol units he commanded from his own Command Center. The patrol units that he currently commanded consists of twelve Yari Mini Subs and twelve Sea-Wings as they need to be as covert as possible, all of which are patrolling along the route where previous patrol units commanded by Naomi Shirada had performed their own patrols. He has been told by Prince Tatsu that, if possible, he should refrain from engaging or communicating with the foreigners until being ordered too.

He began to think about what to eat during the afternoon breaks when his EVA picked up communication from Prince Tatsu himself.

(Imperial EVA) [Incoming Transmission]

"Patch it through." Itsuki ordered and the face of Prince Tatsu appeared on the screen as he greeted him, "Greetings sir, what do you ask of me?"

(Tatsu) [Straight to the point isn't it Commander? Very well, our sensors have detected a large group of contacts not far from our patrol cordon. I want you to investigate; I'll send more reinforcements to your units as we speak.]

Itsuki raised his eyebrows and asks, "Is the new Tengu design I proposed ready for action?"

Tatsu nodded as he answered the Commander's question, "Yes, we have mounted VX-Missile pods underneath the Tengus fuselage. It may be less maneuverable but it could still fly fast and Kenji seems to like the new designs. We'll send a squadron of it along with another squadron of Rocket Angels to assist."

"Thank you my Lord. We'll investigate these contacts for now." Itsuki nodded as the transmissions ends as he later began issuing orders at his units to investigate.

Far off the Coast of Puglia,

The skies off the coast of Puglia erupted in a lethal exchange of bullets and laser fire as the Witches of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing engages a fairly large Neuroi raiding force heading to the City of Bari. Luckily, the 501st is assisted by several air squadrons of Romagnan Regia Aeronautica Fighter Squadrons.

"Kuso! They picked a bad time to raid a city!" Mio cursed as she releases a torrent of machinegun fire from her Type 99-2 Autocannon at an unlucky Neuroi which quickly disintegrated.

Flying next to her is a Gallian Witch and a member of the 501st JFW Perrine Clostermann she assists Mio in dispatching any Neuroi that hadn't been targeted by the Fusoan Major herself with her Bren Gun but the Neuroi didn't stop further as another wave is coming, this time several squadrons of medium-sized Neuroi escorting two large heavy Neuroi that's probably heading to Bari in an effort to destroy it, luckily Mio, Perrine with three more of their comrades which consists of Yoshika Miyafuji, Lynette Bishop and Eila I. Juutilainen are there to intercept them although that was not actually on their plan.

"Now how the heck do we get onto this mess?" Mio muttered as she draws out her Katana. She finally remembers what actually happened before they got into this situation.

Flashback

It was an early morning over the base of the 501st, Major Sakamoto Mio from Fuso who is the acting Squadron Leader of the 501st gathered along with the rest of the member at a briefing room, facing a frowning Wing Commander named Minna Dietlinde-Wilcke the acting commander of the 501st.

"Mind to tell us on why we all gathered here Minna?" Mio asks as the rest pay attention except Sanya who fell asleep.

Minna sighed before telling the rest, "Lately, we have received reports from local fishermen and air force personnel about something unusual spotted along the coast near the region of Puglia."

"Something… unusual?" Eila wonders whether it is related to her vision one month ago. She still experienced some of the dreams about this weird Fusoan-like people and their foreign technology, she never thought of that as real but she can't shake the feeling that it was somewhat surreal.

Minna nodded as she continues, "Yes, as you all know…we also got another report dated a month back about seeing a white trail of smoke on the sky emitted by an unknown craft. But since we weren't sure if it was a Neuroi, we dismissed the reports as a hoax."

"A hoax? But why bring up this matter again?" Shirley asks as she is curious at why Minna paid attention to these reports.

"First of all, we have fresh eyewitness reports of seeing a huge metallic island off the coast of Bari, just a few miles away from Romagnan waters." Minna said and the others reacted on her statement with confused looks.

"Wait Minna…you said huge metallic island just now?" Gertrude asked as she tried to confirm Minna's statement.

Minna could only nod and the rest couldn't help but to trust Minna on this matter. With the confusion mostly cleared up, she began to give her order, "The Headquarters wanted us to investigate it and determine whether it was a Neuroi construct or anything else so Mio, you'll take Yoshika, Lynette, Perrine and Eila with you. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes Minna, we'll do." Mio acknowledged her orders and told her fellow teammate Yoshika, Lynette and Perrine to prepare for a sortie. She somehow noticed Eila's worried look after the briefing is over.

"Eila? Something bothers you?" Mio asks.

"A-Ah, it's nothing really. I think I should better ready for a sortie." Eila said as she leaves the briefing room with Mio still saw Eila with a confused look.

Flashback Ended

"Sakamoto-san! More Neuroi are coming! What should we do?!" Yoshika shouts in distress as she put up a shield to block incoming fire while Lynette still picking off several Neuroi with her Boys Anti-Tank Rifle.

"Damnit! We should call in reinforcements!" Perrine flew off and shot another Neuroi with her Machine Gun before she had to reload again.

Sakamoto managed to slice through an incoming Neuroi before deflecting another attack with her sword as a shield. She cursed as there are still more Neuroi to engage although she managed to saw several squadrons of planes from the Romagnan Regia Aeronautica arrive in force to assist them but it's still not enough.

"Perrine! Eila! On me! Miyafuji, stick with Bishop and provide support when needed!" Mio spread her orders as she dives in and sliced another Neuroi which her sword struck the core and the Neuroi dissolved into reddish white particles.

Unknown to the Witches, their engagement is being observed by a forward scouting force of six Yari Mini Sub and six Sea-Wings as they waited for the main patrol group and their reinforcements to arrive.

Back at the Floating Fortress,

Commander Itsuki observed the fighting from a direct feed link provided by the patrol group and he sees that the situation is looking grim as planes fell from the sky and the Witches are at risk of being overrun, he immediately contacted Crown Prince Tatsu to know if he could help them in battle.

"EVA, can you calculate the outcome of the battle without our assistance?" Itsuki asks his EVA unit.

(Imperial EVA)[Calculating…Commander, the outcome of the battle would result into a 3:1 ratio with the outcome heavily favoring the Neuroi without our assistance.]

"If we didn't act now, they won't survive for much longer…" Itsuki said as he thought of his options before he received another transmission from Prince Tatsu.

(Tatsu)[Commander I have received your report, the Floating Fortress is on its way, do what you can from there. I think it's time for us to reveal our presence in this world]

"Yes sir, I won't fail you." Itsuki nodded respectfully at Tatsu which earns him a smile from the Crown Prince.

(Tatsu)[You haven't fail me yet Itsuki, good luck and may Honor find you]

As Tatsu ended his transmission, Itsuki finally gave the order, "EVA, contact the patrol group. I'll inform them to engage the enemy and help those people; it's time for us to help them."

Back with the patrol group,

The current commanding officer of the Forward Patrol Group, Captain Hayashi Shimada is nervously watching the aerial engagement from the safety of his Yari Mini-Sub. He, along with all of the Imperial military personnel, had been briefed on what happened after the time shift which they realized that they were in a parallel version of Earth and about the mysterious entity known as the Neuroi which this world has fought against after being stranded for a month since the miscalculated time shift.

Captain Shimada was apprehensive at first about these 'alien' species that the people in this world fought against and after seeing them fight today had made him nervous, his commander didn't know the capabilities of the enemy or even their weaknesses which he swore that he would rather fight the Soviets or the Allies instead of these 'alien' invaders. As he delves in his thoughts, he received a transmission from his Commander.

(Itsuki)[To the forward patrol group, you have been authorized to engage the enemy. Help them as long as you can before the reinforcements arrived.]

Captain Shimada immediately respond, "This is Captain Hayashi Shimada, I received your orders Commander. I'll do what I can to help them." As much as he didn't want to fight against the enemy he didn't know, but the Commander's order is still an order and he will follow it without question.

(Itsuki)[Affirmative, Captain Shimada, the reinforcements are en-route in two minutes. Do what you can from here. Good Luck and may Honor guide you.]

"Yes Commander." Shimada ended the transmission and began spreading orders to the rest of his group, "Alright, Sea-Wings! Target those Neuroi with your AA Missile. All Subs, with me, we'll try to rescue those stranded Gaijin pilots! It is time these Uchuujin will know their place!"

As Shimada heard the acknowledgement of his fellow sailors, they immediately move in to support the nearly exhausted forces of the 501st JFW and the Romagnan Regia Aeronautica Squadrons that were sent to assist the Witches. It was their time to show the aliens what the Empire of the Rising Sun are capable of.

Back in the air battle over the coast near the city of Bari,

Major Sakamoto Mio is beginning to feel exhausted as she took down more Neuroi along with Perrine and Eila but as more of these aliens shot down, their number seemed unchanged and the Witches are currently in a very big trouble.

"How many Neuroi are we actually fighting against?! This is insane! I'll be running out of ammo soon if they're still persistent!" Perrine nearly shouted at the top of her lungs as she fighting what seemed to be endless horde of the flying abomination.

"I'll contact Minna for more reinforcements, the others will be here soon!" Mio shouted as she readied her Katana to make another blow at the unfortunate Neuroi in her sights.

"They better be here Major! If there are more of these coming...we'll be killed! Tonnere!" Perrine shouts her magic spells which several lightning bolts fried several Neuroi out of action while saying her concerns to the Fusoan Squadron Leader.

Perrine's concern was right; they never expected to encounter a very large raiding force, not since the early years of the Neuroi Wars. Luckily though most of the Neuroi appeared in this battle are mostly small-types to medium-types with only two large variants accompanied the raiding force. The odds are somehow against the human defenders as more Regia Aeronautica combat planes are shot down with ease but not without taking some of the Neuroi with them.

(Radio)[This is *static* Capitano Rodrigo of the 29th Gruppo! *static*-heavy fire! We ne-*static*] The Witches heard radio chatter of their fellow allied planes as one of them seemed taken a direct hit and crashed down onto the cold waters of the Adriatic Sea.

(Radio)[Jesus Cristo!Capitano Rodrigo has been shot down! Anyone sees his chute?!] One of the downed Captain's wingman shouted through the radio as they saw their lead plane is shot down.

Luckily, others has radioed that they saw his chute and the battle continues with tracers and laser fire fills the sky. Unfortunately, Captain Rodrigo is among a handful of pilots who managed to bail out from their plane after being shot down by the Neuroi that day with more unable to bail out or just simply vaporized by the laser fire of the Neuroi.

Mio decided to contact Wing Commander Minna after she cut another Neuroi into half, "Base Command this is Mio! Where are the reinforcements!?"

(Minna)[Base Command, the reinforcements are on their way in 30 minutes! Please hang in there for a bit longer!]

Mio inwardly curses as she replied, "Alright! We're tried to hold as long as we can!" before she dive into combat again with her Katana held firm within her grasp.

Eila still have a weird feeling that something might happened today if the briefing about the unknown contact and her recurring dreams are of any indication of what might happened as she dodged another Neuroi fire and hoped that they might appear to help them.

And she was right.

Yoshika was covering her close friend Lynette when she saw something coming out to the surface below them and she was surprised to see an unknown craft that is shaped like a manta ray but she just saw not one, it was six of them surfacing.

"Sakamoto-san! I see something coming out from the water!" Yoshika contacted her Squadron Leader.

(Mio)[Say again Miyafuji? What's coming out from the water?] Mio asked again.

"I-I don't know! I-It was some big manta ray-like shape and there are six of them!" Yoshika said as she observed the manta ray-like crafts.

(Eila)[Is it a new Neuroi?!] Eila suddenly interrupting them as she possibly heard the two talking.

Yoshika turned to Lynette, "Lynne-chan…do you think that is a Neuroi?"

Lynette takes a look at the mysterious crafts and shook her head, "If it is…it's supposed to be all black with a patch of red."

Suddenly before the rest said anything, the mysterious crafts suddenly opened fire at the incoming Neuroi which are going to attack Lynette and Yoshika who still have their eyes locked on the mysterious group of crafts.

Yoshika could see several 'rockets' shooting out from the crafts and hit the Neuroi that were aimed at her and Lynette in a multiple intense rocket barrage until the Neuroi collapsed and destroyed by the intensity of the attack.

Yoshika was amazed and shocked at the same time before she recovered from her shock and immediately contacted Mio, "S-Sakamoto-san! I-It destroyed a Neuroi! T-They shoot some kind of rocket at them."

(Mio)[Say again? They shoot rockets?]

"Y-Yes! I-I'm not lying!" Yoshika said as the crafts began engaging some of the Neuroi which Mio and Eila finally take notice of it.

Inside one of the Sea-Wing crafts,

"Sir! We have another target locked on! Rocket pods are ready to fire!" One of the seamen crew of a Sea-Wing craft informed as their targeting computer is locked on to another unfortunate Neuroi.

The commander of this Sea-Wing then nodded to him, "Release the rockets, I want that thing taken out."

"Yes Sir! Firing Rockets!" the seaman then launched their venerable and deadly Aozora Rockets at the Neuroi with frightening accuracy.

"Target down! Locking on to the next target!" the seaman informed again.

"Good, keep it up!" the commander ordered as the rockets are fully replenished and ready to fire.

Eila couldn't believe what she saw, she recognized the mysterious crafts from her dreams albeit the one she saw before was actually 'flying' but what's disturbing her is how their rockets are actually guided themselves at the enemy Neuroi, from what she knows about rockets, Sanya's own Fliegerhammer couldn't do the same feat as the crafts weapons system could but in the end, she was glad that help has arrived.

"What on earth was that?!" Mio looked surprised as she saw the mysterious crafts engaging and also managed to see several more crafts of unknown design surface and joined the fray.

"I don't know but I know they're helping us." Eila said as she took out another Neuroi before being forced to reload.

Mio then looked down to see several new crafts, much more different than the manta ray-looking craft rescuing several downed pilots from the cold waters of the Adriatic Sea.

"I guess you're right. Now let's go and finish the job!" Mio then charged at an oncoming Neuroi and slice it before Eila fired the finishing blow at the unfortunate Neuroi.

Meanwhile,

For Capitano Filipe Rodrigo, today was a bad day for him; he was supposed to end his shift that day after his squadron ended their patrol when he received reports of a large Neuroi raiding force. And to be shot down was an unpleasant experience.

"Oh for God sake…when are the rescue ships will arrive!" Rodrigo muttered as he drifts on the surface of the Adriatic Sea. He and a dozen more downed pilots who are lucky to survive the attack are now facing another battle for survival as they're facing a risk of hypothermia if they stayed floating too long in the water which would mean a certain death despite surviving against the Neuroi assault.

"It's no use Capitano! Not with these many Neuroi on the skies! They won't even risk a fishing vessel to rescue us!" One of the surviving downed pilot exclaimed.

As the rest of the pilots thought that they would have no hope of being rescued, they suddenly saw something emerge out from the bottom of the Adriatic Sea. They saw a white colored craft that looks like a manta ray and what surprises them is that it fires rockets at the Neuroi which the craft easily destroyed the Neuroi with.

"Jesus…what the hell was that?!" One of them shouted when several more of these crafts appeared and fired their own payload of rockets and they thought they would have seen everything when another craft of different design which they saw as a Mini Submarine emerged, this time the pilots saw a person peeked out from the hatches.

"You there!" the person said which the pilots recognized his accent as somewhat akin to a Fusoan, "Get in here quick gaijin if you don't want to die in this water!" the 'Fusoan' sailor shouts in somewhat clear Britannic language although with a mix of Fusoan in the end of the sentences.

"You heard the Fusoan! Come on! This is our chance to get out alive!" Rodrigo ordered as the rest of the pilots swam to the nearest 'Fusoan' submarine and successfully boarded in without any incident despite the pilots and Rodrigo noticed that these 'Fusoans' are a bit different than what they used to see.

But for Rodrigo and the downed pilots, they have survived the battle and lived to fight another day.

Back to the aerial battle,

The situation is becoming more controllable since the appearance of the mysterious force assisting them in taking down the Neuroi, Mio herself couldn't believe her eyes as she witness some people other than the Witches could easily take down a Neuroi, at least outright destroying the smaller type and heavily damaged the medium-type Neuroi with mere 'guided' rockets. She was also glad that these forces also have saved several downed pilots' lives from the cold death of the Adriatic Sea which makes the job a bit easier for the Witches like herself.

The Neuroi raiding forces are beginning to buckle under pressure from the Witches and their mysterious ally as their numbers began to dwindle. Just as Mio evaded another laser strike aimed at her, she received a transmission from Wing Commander Minna.

(Minna)[Mio! Mio! Are you there?!] Minna said as she sounds somewhat worrying which Mio frowned as she heard it.

"Mio here, what happened?" She asks.

(Minna)[Our radar detected another unknown force coming from the south! Be careful!] Minna said before the wailing of the Neuroi gained the attention of Mio.

The Fusoan then flew next to Eila and Perrine as the two finished destroying another Neuroi, Lynette and Yoshika followed suit as they flew straight to the remaining Neuroi which consists of just a handful of Medium-type and two Large-Heavy type the mediums escorted to attack the city of Bari.

"Alright girls! Fall in formation with me, destroy the remaining Neuro-" Mio was giving her orders when she abruptly cut off by the sound of explosion and the painful wail of the Neuroi. She then saw traces of rocket trails heading from the south.

"What the…"Mio muttered as she activated her Magic Eye ability, she saw a squadron of planes and several flying humanoids coming for them and trailing behind them, she couldn't believe her eyes as she saw what would be the largest floating metal construction humanity ever witnessed, fitted with overly large guns which is even larger than the largest battleship gun of her time.

Mio's sentiment is also shared with her Witches especially for Eila, to called it a shock is an understatement, she was absolutely taken aback by the size of the floating metal construct and she could make out several buildings actually present on that construct but she then noticed a flag, it was similar to the Fusoan Flag but this flag is different from what the Fuso Empire used.

Back into the fighting,

While the Witches are still surprised to see the arrival of the Imperial Japanese forces, two air squadrons of the Empire's air units are en-route to assist the Witches and eliminating the attacking Neuroi. It was comprised of twelve Rocket Angels and twelve new variant of Jet Tengu that have small VX rocket pods attached to the underbelly of the Jet Tengu fuselage.

(Itsuki)[Command to Tengu and Rocket Angel flights, your order is to engage and eliminate the remaining Neuroi, leave none alive.] Commander Itsuki gave the order to their flight leader.

"This is Tengu Lead; we read you loud and clear sir! Moving to engage!" The lead Tengu informed as his onboard targeting system which have been connected to the VX missile pods mounted underneath began to lock on.

Soon, the Tengus unleashed multiple barrages of VX rockets at several of the heavily damaged medium-type Neuroi which finally collapsed under intense fire and disintegrated. After the VX missile barrages we're spent, the Tengu Fighters switched to their main weapons, the Kinetic Burst Autocannons and opened fire on the remaining medium-type Neuroi who still are escorting the heavy type.

"Alright Tengus! Break off! Let the Angels take over!" The leader of the Tengu squadron ordered as their planes break off after finishing off the last of the heavily damaged medium Neuroi.

At the same time the Tengus began to break off from the battle, the Rocket Angel squadrons began their attack at the remaining Neuroi with their seemingly deadly and limitless Photon Rockets from their Swarm Pods. The heavily damaged medium suffered the brunt of the attack as it collapsed under the intense rocket fire and disintegrated.

The Witches who witnessed the Rocket Angels in action are awestruck as these flying girls managed to destroy the Neuroi and could fly without the use of Striker Unit. As they keep staring at the newcomers, one of the Rocket Angels flown to their position in front of Mio.

"Hey could you help us please? Those large types would be a problem." The Rocket Angel said to Mio as several others arrived next to her.

Mio coughs up a bit before nodding to the newcomers and then turned to her own group, "Alright girls! Let's go and help them!"

The Witches nodded as they move in to help the newcomers as they released a hail of machinegun fire accompanied by swarms of rockets fired at one of the heavy types which they heard a loud shriek as they continue their relentless attack until they could see the Neuroi core.

"I'll take the shot!" Lynette shouted as she aimed her Boys AT-Rifle and aimed it directly at the Neuroi. She took a deep breath and focused her special magic, the Ballistic Stabilization ability which allows her to shoot more accurately and pulled the trigger.

A last shriek was heard from the stricken heavy-type Neuroi before it disintegrated and its destruction caused the only remaining Neuroi alive, the other heavy-type to dive down and evade it's would be executioner.

"Another one is trying to escape!" Yoshika shouted as the last heavy type Neuroi descending fast.

Inside the Floating Fortress Command Bridge,

With the Fortress' arrival to the scene of the battle, Crown Prince Tatsu observed how the new Tengu-VX units breaking off after they managed to destroy several of the Neuroi before leaving the rest to the formidable Rocket Angels squadrons. Tatsu noticed the Witches saw his Floating Fortress before they go to assists the Rocket Angels and smiled; it seems he want to have a small talk with the Witches after the fight is over.

"Sir, the last of the Neuroi is descending. It seemed that it's trying to retreat from the area." One of the Radar Officers of the Floating Fortress informed the Crown Prince.

"Captain, can you get a lock on at that Large type Neuroi for our Wave-Force trigun?" Tatsu asks the Captain who are in charge of the Floating Fortress operations.

The Captain and their crews stare at their Crown Prince after hearing his questions. The Captain asks, "Excuse me sir but the Wave-Force trigun isn't suited to shoot aerial targets sir."

"I know that Captain…but those large heavy types seems slow enough for a good shot." Tatsu said as he pointed at the large type Neuroi.

The Captain sighed as he informed the Floating Fortress Weapons Control Officer, "Houjo, activate Wave-Force Trigun turret number five and six. Target the descending Neuroi."

"Roger, activating turret number five and number six…weapons charging sir, estimated time before contact in three minutes." The WCO Officer Houjo announced.

"Good, I'm going to see my commanders; looks like this would be a long day for us." Crown Prince Tatsu smiled as he leaves the bridge to meet with the other Shogunate Commanders.

Commander Itsuki's Command Center onboard the Floating Fortress,

As the Imperial Commander still busy commanding his troops from his battlefield interface until is EVA informed him of the latest development.

(Imperial EVA)[Commander, Prince Tatsu has ordered the ships main Wave-Force Trigun to attack the only remaining Neuroi in the area, he requested that we should order our forces to clear away from the area]

Itsuki nodded and began to inform the rest of the forces currently chasing the Neuroi, "To all Angel squadrons, pull back. The Floating Fortress will fire its Wave-Force trigun! Stay away from their range of fire! I repeat! Stay away from their range of fire!"

Back into the fighting,

With only one Neuroi remaining, the Witches and the newcomers who are assisting them finally turned their attention to the escaping Neuroi as it began its descend in an effort to evade its would be killer but they managed to catch up with it and began throwing everything that they got at the lone Neuroi.

"Shoot it down before it escapes!" Mio ordered as she tried to close in at the Neuroi in an attempt to cut it open with her sword but the Neuroi immediately noticed and released barrage after barrage of laser fire in order to shake its pursuers off.

Mio reluctantly broke off to evade the enemy fire while the other Witches continue shooting their machineguns and anti-tank rifle for Lynette until they realized they're out of ammunition.

"I'm out!" Eila shouted as her MG42 finally ran out. She decided to look for the mysterious newcomers who helped them and she sees one of them approaching her.

The female whom Eila notices wearing some sort of armor and flying without the help of a Striker looked at her and asks in a perfect Britannic although it was mixed with what seems to be Fuso accent, "Excuse me girl, we need you to tell the rest to stay away from that Neuroi, we have something in store for it."

Eila blinked at first as to why she told her to stay away from the Neuroi but she nevertheless have the feeling that she would soon find out and began to contact her teammates about what the newcomer has told her.

Floating Fortresses front-based Wave-Force Triguns Turret Number One and Two,

The Wave-Force technology developed by the scientists of the Empire of the Rising Sun is the pinnacle in the development of particle-based weapons technology reportedly even surpassing the Allied development of their Spectrum technology. The Imperials utilized this technology to its fullest potential by developing formidable defense systems throughout the War of the Three Powers; one of the examples of this technology is fitted onto the Floating Fortresses, the deadly Wave-Force Triguns.

Normally the Wave-Force Trigun is designed as an anti-surface armament against any ground or surface attack against the Floating Fortress and not against flying unit but with the Neuroi flying low just a few meters above the sea in an effort to evade the Rocket Angels and the Witches, the targeting system picked up the Neuroi and began to lock on it.

With the target input received, the Triguns generators hummed as it began powering up the weapon. For a few minutes, the powering up is complete and both of the Trigun turret finally fired a concentrated white particle beam in great force, heading straight to the unfortunate Neuroi.

Back to the Witches,

As Mio tried another attempt to cut the Neuroi into two with her Katana Eila contacted the Fusoan Major telling her and the rest to stay away from the Neuroi and true enough, she saw their mysterious helpers fly away from the Neuroi. She immediately called the others to regroup near her which they finally complied.

"Major, why are we flying away from the Neuroi? It's going to escape soon!" Perrine frowned as she flew next to Mio.

Yoshika and Lynette followed suit with Eila arrived just in time for Mio to ask her, "Eila, why are you telling us to stay away from that Neuroi?"

"I heard from one of them that they'll have something…special for that Neuroi…" Eila said when she and the others saw a beam of light pierced through the hull of the Neuroi like a hot knife through butter. They are stunned by the sudden destruction of the Neuroi.

"W-What happened?! W-Who fired that shot?!" Lynette finally let out her voice after she was stunned at the sight of the destroyed Neuroi.

Without a word, Eila turned to see the floating metal construct and saw the large guns placed on the construct smoking from its barrel, a sign that it has been fired and suspected that it was their doing.

Commander Itsuki's Command Center,

(Imperial EVA)[Commander, the last of the hostile Neuroi has been defeated, Mission Accomplished]

Itsuki finally breath in relief as the fight is over with little to no casualties from his side although he had to admit that without the Neuroi being distracted by the Witches, he should have expected some casualties.

"Well that's over." He said to himself before the image of Prince Tatsu appeared on his screen.

(Tatsu)[Commander, congratulations on your success, it seems that your leadership skills haven't lost its touch]

Itsuki could only smile at the compliment, "I'm flattered sir but I'm just only following your orders. I heard you are the one that finally gave the finishing blow at the last Neuroi so I guess you should take the credit sir."

(Tatsu)[So it seems, but I digress. It's to your no small efforts that made it happen Commander so don't be so modest.]

"I will sir. Thank you. So what is your next order?" Itsuki asks the Crown Prince.

(Tatsu)[As you see Commander, we have revealed ourselves to the Witches…I think it's time to present ourselves with a peaceful intention so I want to invite them to our Floating Fortress.]

Tatsu's decision surprised the Japanese Commander, Itsuki raised his eyebrows and asks, "Sir, are you sure to invite them here?" and he sees the Crown Prince nodded confidently.

(Tatsu)[Yes Commander, I have the feeling that this is one of the parts where our destiny has set for us. I'm sure of it]

Itsuki looks satisfied and then bowed to Tatsu, "As you wish sir, I'll order my unit to inform the Witches of your invitation."

(Tatsu)[Make it so Commander…and Good Work.] Tatsu then finished off his transmission as Itsuki began relaying the orders to his units which are still out there.

To the Witches,

"Amazing…to have a weapon that powerful…" Mio voiced out what the others have thought when they're being approached by a flying Striker-less female judging from the shape of its body.

The female then spoke directly to Mio and said, "Excuse me, my Commander wants to see you and are inviting you to our Floating Fortress."

Mio and the others blinked and also a bit hesitated to take the invitation until Eila patted Mio's shoulder and said, "I think you should accept it Major…I have a feeling they can help us."

Mio think more before she sighed and said to the female, "Of course, we will follow you to this…Floating Fortress." She assumed that the Floating Fortress is the floating metal construct she and the others have seen before.

The female only nods and fly back into formation with her team. Mio looked at her team and they all nodded as they immediately followed the newcomers onto the floating metal construct.

"I think I should better tell Minna about this." Mio muttered as she reminded herself to contact Minna as soon as she landed.

For now, they want to see this mysterious 'Commander' who has helped them and they would be in for a surprise.

Authors Note: So there it is…honestly It took some time for me to think up the rest, besides I don't have much time to write since I'm busy with my university work and all. I hope this would be satisfying for now. Thank you for follow and fav this story and I hope you all will be patient with me since I might be slow in updating this and the Paradox Timeline fic but I do appreciate any ideas or suggestions from you guys. Anyhow, this is Fuji92…signing off.

Imperial Japanese Army/Empire of the Rising Sun Arsenal:

Tengu-VX:

Armament: 1x VX Rocket Pod, 2x Kinetic Burst Autocannons

Pro: Increase in Air to Air Combat Capabilities

Cons: Could not assume Mecha mode unless the VX Rocket Pods has been detached from the Tengus fuselage.

During the later stages of the War of the Three Powers or commonly known as the Great World War III, the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force began to suffer heavy losses by the combined Allied and Soviet air power as their own war on the sky intensified after the Allied and Soviet formed a coalition against the Empire of the Rising Sun or the Japanese Empire. The Imperial Japanese Army Air Force current aerial combat capable fleets of Tengu and Striker/Chopper-VX have been proven not enough to counter the increasingly powerful Allied and Soviet Air Force which consist of effective fighters and bombers which the Imperial didn't have. One Imperial Commander named Commander Itsuki realizes the importance of Air Power in the War began proposes an emergency stopgap measure to increase the combat capability of the Imperial air power before a proper Air Superiority design can be made in which he propose the stopgap variant of Jet Tengu fitted with VX rocket pods on its underbelly to increase their Anti-Air Capability although they could not transform into Mecha Tengu unless the Rocket Pods has been used up and disposed off but unfortunately it is too late to enter the war and save Japan but it has been given another chance as it began its first combat against the Neuroi after the Imperial Forces stranded on the alternate version of Earth during the Second Neuroi War.
