Percy Pov

The next morning at breakfast Mrs. Weasley seemed to be in a rush. The dishes were washing themselves and the food seemed to cook on its own. She was racing around the house picking up random items of clothing and such. Her curly hair was a mess on her head.

"What's wrong mum?" Ron yawned as he took a seat at the table.

I slid into a seat next to Jason, who gave me a fist bump, and Hazel who smiled. I couldn't help but think of last night and how I had told Harry the truth, I hoped I was doing the right thing.

"There's another student coming over to stay," Mrs. Weasley said out of breath.

Another student? I looked around at my friends and found that they were all as stumped as I was. Who else could come from our camp, Reyna maybe?

"Isn't our house full enough already?" Ron mumbled, then he looked over at us and started a little. "No offense to you guys, you're cool."

"Nice save Ron," Ginny mumbled.

"It's alright, we don't want to be a burden," Hazel said.

Mrs. Weasley smacked Ron with a rolled up newspaper, "That's enough of that Ronald! Don't worry my dear you're not a burden, I love having guests." She finished smiling.

"I don't suppose any of you know who is coming?" Harry asked as he joined us at the table.

We all shook our heads, "I'm afraid not, we didn't know about this either." Frank answered.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door and everyone froze. Sensing there might be trouble my friends and I all began to reach for our respective weapons. I didn't know who it could be but it was better to be safe than sorry.

Mrs. Weasley opened the door to find another teenage boy. He was at least as tall as Jason and I. He wore a tight fitting black sweater that showed off his muscles and a pair of grey sweat pants. He had close cropped dirty blonde. What stood out most were his eyes, a startling blue, with an intense look painted on them, like he was suspicious of something. Over his right eye he had a scar stretching just below it.

Finally smiling he greeted them, "Hello there."

"You must be the new student, come in ,come in," Mrs. Weasley said smiling, overcoming her momentary shock.

Something about this kid screamed power and authority, maybe it was the way he walked with his back perfectly straight or how he stood taller than he really was. He seemed able to take over a room.

"Surely you must be hungry my dear," Mrs. Weasley said grabbing the pans off the fryer. She bustled over and loaded the new kids plate full of food, he merely smiled the whole time.

"Thank you M'lady," he said with a slight bow.

Mrs. Weasley blushed slightly, "Oh, it Mrs. Weasley dear."

He inclined his head again and began to stare at the food in front of him. He was analyzing it, almost like he'd never seen it before. Grabbing his fork he stuck it into the eggs and brought it up to his mouth and bit into it. He seemed to mull it over for a second and swallowed, slowly he formed a grin.

"This is delicious Mrs. Weasley," he said taking another bite.

"Thank you my dear," she said loading everyone elses plates with food.

"Anakin, please," Anakin said taking another giant bite of his food.

I was so busy staring at the new kid I completely missed the food being heaped onto my plate. Something about him seemed so wrong not necessarily in a bad way, but I couldn't seem to place it. Anakin seemed very uncomfortable in his clothes; I would've been too, that sweater was way too tight. He didn't seem familiar with the food, which was weird considering eggs and bacon were a universal food choice. Finally I noticed something I hadn't seen earlier, over his right hand he wore a black glove. It had blended really well with that black sweater but I had finally seen it. Could he be a death eater? Suddenly I found myself very afraid for Annabeth who sat right next to him.

"So Anakin, you're going to be attending Hogwarts?" Hazel asked, always the polite one.

"Yes," Anakin answered glancing at her momentarily and then going back to his food.

"Where did you study magic before this?" Hermione asked, obviously not liking his answer.

"I didn't," was all he replied.

We all looked between one another. Surely he had studied at least a little? I didn't know much other than what Hecate had put into my head but at least I wasn't dumb enough to answer we didn't study.

"This was amazing Mrs. Weasley, thank you," Anakin said smiling over at Mrs. Weasley.

"It was no problem dear," she answered.

Anakin put his fork on his plate and sat there looking at everyone around the table. I didn't know what he was doing but he seemed to be sizing us up. His eyes fell on me last, he met my eyes and he smiled. There was something knowing in his smile and it made my blood run cold. Finally he looked away and I let out a breath I hadn't realized I was holding. Whoever this Anakin was he wasn't to be taken lightly, but neither was I.

"Anakin, that's an interesting name, where does it come from?" Annabeth asked him.

Anakin shrugged, "I don't know, it was just a name my mother gave me when I was born."

"How come you're not with your mom?" Leo impolitely asked, not realizing he was being rude.

Anakin glared at him and again I found myself ready to act if need be. Though I could see it in Anakins face, the mention of why he wasn't with his mother was a painful one. Clearly he didn't want to relive it, or tell us about it yet. I realized how lucky I was to have my Mom in my life, I didn't know what I would do without her.

At the silence at the table Leo looked up," What?" he asked Anakin.

"We're going to ride out brooms if you want to join us?" Harry cut in, changing the subject.

I stared at him like he was crazy, did he say ride a broom? I'd seen alot of weird stuff, but riding a broom sounded rather ridiculous. But so did men with three torso's or flying horses.

"Flying, that sounds like fun," Anakin said finally turning his gaze from Leo.

"Yeah," my friends all muttered, except for Thalia who said she would just stand and watch.

A short while later, after everyone had eaten their meal, we found ourselves out back. There was plenty of hill cover and no one should be able to see us, at least that's what Harry had said. I was a little flabbergasted when sure enough Harry brought out six brooms. His looked to be the nicest, all the bristles on the end were all well kept. While the ones the Weasleys owned looked like they'd seen better days.

"There's three more over here if anyone wants to join us," Ginny said once Ron and Harry had mounted their brooms.

Anakin stepped forward to examine the brooms but before he picked one up Harry interrupted him.

"There's a trick from school I want all of you to try. Stand next to the broom and say UP. If you're confident and the broom sees fit to let you ride it'll jump right into your hand."

Anakin didn't hesitate and the broom shot right into his outstretched hand, like it was nothing. I stared at him for a second and as I looked at Harry, he seemed a bit surprised as well.

"Very... uh good," Harry said.

"I've got this," Leo said confidently striding up next to the broom and rolling up his sleeves. "UP!" he shouted and the broom managed a little pathetic roll on the ground. Mumbling Leo just bent down and picked it up.

Piper went and claimed the last broom. It took her two or three tries but she finally managed to get the broom up into her hand. We'd all been so focused on them picking up the brooms we hadn't noticed Anakin had taken off. I scanned the skies trying to find him but to no avail. Harry and them didn't seem to worry so much as they just took off in the air riding around. I had to admit, it looked like a blast. Leo and Piper took a little time to get used to flying on the brooms but once they got comfortable they were soaring. Ron and Ginny were also very good, despite the poor brooms they managed to fly like experts.

Harry meanwhile was flying like a man possessed. His broom was clearly superior to any that the Weasleys had. It was faster and much easier to handle, he could pull turns on that thing like you wouldn't believe. Harry might not have physical combat skills but his flying was pretty darn close.

It was then time for us to switch and I was super excited. I was a tad nervous about Zeus blasting me out of the sky but it was outweighed by excitement. Leo handed me his broom and I immediately straddled it and kicked off the ground like I'd seen the rest of them do. At first it was a bit shaky, I could hardly maintain the balance but once I got it sorted out I was cruising. It wasn't quite like flying Blackjack but it was pretty close. I felt alive in the sky, apparently Zeus was going to let me enjoy myself today. Somehow Annabeth was the one that ended up with Harrys broom and she was off pulling stunts I wouldn't even think of doing. Hazel and Frank both took theirs slow, while Jason was zooming around too.

Finally after flying for a few minutes I spotted Anakin, way above all of us. He stood on his broom, both feet equal distance apart as he slowly cruised through the air. His eyes were closed and he seemed at peace. How he was able to keep his balance I didn't know but he was apparently sure of his abilities to save himself. From down here Anakin looked more like a grown man than a teenager and I couldn't help but get a chill in my stomach when I thought of it.

A few minutes later we all landed and switched out again. I watched for a few and then turned to my friends on the ground.

"I don't trust Anakin," I told them.

Apparently I'd missed the look in their eyes as they were all bug eyed, looking behind me.

"Well, I'd be interested to know what it is I've done that made you see me as untrustable?" Anakins voice boomed from behind me.

He'd landed right as I'd spoke to my friends, of course, that was my luck. I turned to find that he wasn't mad, but was smiling, slightly. Or maybe he had been smiling and I'd wiped it right off his face.

"I didn't mean it like that. I-" I began stuttering, I didn't know what to say. How would I think you're a little off would sound?

Thalia stepped in, "If Percy has a reason to not trust you, then so do I."

Then Anakin really did smile, "Good,"

He walked away, leaving the broom hanging there for one of us to use if we so wanted. But suddenly I found I didn't want to fly anymore, for some reason I had to know who he was.

I raced off after him, leaving my friends confused. For the short lead he'd had it took me a while to catch him. When I did though I noticed Jason was with me.

"It's wise not to trust too many people Percy," Anakin said when he stopped and turned to face us.

"Are you like us?" I found myself asking.

He chuckled, "No, I'm not like you."

"But you must be here for a reason?" Jason asked.

"I'm here for the same reason as you: to keep that boy safe."

"If you're not like us how can you keep him safe?" I asked.

"You're not the only people who know how to fight in the universe kid. You should wake up to that fact,"

He turned and walked away and something he'd said was eating away at me. The word universe rang in my ears. He couldn't possible mean... No, it was just a figure of speech he used to try and show how small we were. He had to be weaker than us, it was the only possible explanation. Perhaps he dealt with mind games like Athena did. Universe, rang in my ears.

I don't know why I included Anakin in here but it just kind of happened, besides, why not put my three favorite things together, Star wars, Percy Jackson and Harry Potter!
