Author's note: I realized I'll probably never write a sequel to this story, so I wanted to give all my old, faithful viewers a fluffy bonus chapter. I started writing this fic 6 years ago and finished it 3.5 years ago, and it blows my mind to still see so many people reading it.

Thank you all. The support means more than you can ever know.

Reid could feel his feet going numb after sitting in the same position for the last hour. He didn't dare move in fear he'd wake the both of them. His eyes had taken turns admiring the most beautiful women in his life. Presently, he was staring at Bridie's sleeping form nestled closely against his side. Her red curls were beyond wild after the events of the last 16 hours, some curls still slightly sticking to her face and neck from the sweat. The freckles splatter on her face made her look softer, feminine, younger as she slept soundly. Reid could hear her breath keeping a steady rhythm, feel it as she inhaled and exhaled into his arm. His eyes traveled to the other sleeping beauty in his arms.

Roisin Diana Reid. Little Rosie. She already had the same slightly sloped and upturned nose of her mother, the same full pink lips. Reid couldn't tell if she'd possess Bridie's olive toned skin or his own pale skin, but it didn't matter much. She was beautiful all the same. After 16 hours of hard labor, his perfect little Rosie was here in this big scary world. He knew he'd do anything to protect her. He'd do anything to protect his family. The quietest of taps at the door interrupted his thoughts. The familiar face of a nurse poked in to check on them.

"You have visitors. Would you like me to let them in or do you want to wait until they are awake?" The nurse's voice was barely a whisper but it sounded so loud in the silent room. Reid checked the clock and thinking for a moment before responding.

"It's almost time for her to be fed again anyway. Give us 5 minutes before sending any visitors in, please." The nurse nodded and shut the door without a sound. Reid placed a kiss in Bridie's hair and took a deep breath, inhaling the scent of Bridie's shampoo mixed with her sweat and just natural smell. He kissed her forehead. "Briiiiidie," he whispered, lightly nudging her with his arm. She stirred, eyes blinking, and glanced up at him with a smile.

"Spence," she whispered warmly against his arm and drug her lips across his skin in a half-formed kiss. "Mmm, thank you for letting me sleep." Bridie's eye's drifted to the clock and then down to their sleeping beauty. Their little Rosie.

"We have visitors. I didn't want them to wake you or Rosie, but it's almost time for her to be fed again." Bridie nodded, carefully taking the bundled baby from Reid's arms. Rosie gave a small wriggle of protest before settling into her mother's arms. Reid leaned and kissed Bridie's slightly chapped lips. "I love you," he murmured against her skin. A light tap on the door interrupts the intimate moment. The smiling faces of JJ and Henry peak in before entering.

"Hey, Spence," JJ smiles at him, the smile getting bigger at the sight of the bundled Rosie. Henry waves hi to his godfather and gets the biggest smile when he sees the baby. JJ reminds him to stay quiet. The two happily walk closer to the bed, and JJ's smile returns. "She's beautiful, guys." Bridie mutters a small thank you, the tiredness still evident and her brain foggy with sleep. Reid looks back at JJ.

"Would you like to hold Rosie? You are her godmother, after all." The happy glint in her eye says just how appreciative she is, but she shakes her head.

"Never wake a sleeping baby," she warns with a chuckle. "She has so many more visitors, I wouldn't want to have a fussy baby during all that. No no no, I'll visit when you guys bring her home and hold her then." JJ and Henry exchange a few more congratulatory remarks before exiting the room. Reid and Bridie look at one another longingly before agreeing to wait to feed Rosie until everyone has visited.

And they do slowly trickle through. Garcia comes in with gifts and balloons of the brightest colors, tears in her eyes at the mere thought of baby Rosie, let alone actually seeing her. Reid notices one of gifts is signed 'love Auntie Emily'. Next is Hotch and Rossi, their stoic facades replaced with smiles and happy tears. Hotch gives Reid a pat on his back, and Rossi decides to hold Rosie despite the warnings that she'd wake and be fussy. A few more colleagues come through to congratulate them, a few blushing and averting their eyes when they realize Bridie is feeding her daughter.

The last of the visitors peak their head in and Reid holds a finger to his lips. Rosie, having been fed and changed, is contentedly swaddled in the crook of Bridie's arm. The big toothless smile belonging to Seb rushes through the door, Morgan quick on his heels. The two are unmistakably related; they look so much alike that Reid wonders how he was so oblivious to have not seen it before. Still, Morgan and Reid's friendship was stronger than ever, especially realizing they were raising a son together. Said son wasted no time crawling into his step-father's lap and staring at his little sister.

"Wow," the boy said in awe. "What's her name?"

"Roisin," Bridie said gently. "Rosie for short." Bridie motioned for Morgan to come on her side of the bed, and she stretched her arms out when he did. "It is only fitting that the godfather and the big brother get to hold her." Morgan held her gently, his eyes welling with tears at the sentiment. He brought Seb on the couch and helped him hold his little sister. His eyes glanced up as if to say 'thank you', but it wasn't needed.

With a deep, happy sigh, Bridie nuzzled into her husband's side and smiled at their little family.
