AN: I finally - finally - have the very last chapter and it's my absolute pleasure to bring it to you. Katie had sat down on the plane and felt near to crying again, but she forced the tears back, she'd started to cry the minute after her speech when everyone ran up hugging her tightly not knowing what to say themselves. Even Mr Schue had shed some when they'd all decided to see her off at the airport. She texted the boys and her mum to say she was on her way back now. Her mum had told her she and the others that she had would be waiting for them at the other end of the airport for her. A few passers by had stared oddly as they also boarded before they finally took off and she waved back to the glee club still on solid ground while she flew further away from them.

"Mom, you were right. I know you didn't say it but I know. This trip, it's changed me, for the better, do you know how well they treated me over there?

Katie arrived at the Palmwoods waiting for her moment to start singing in front of the whole pool/hotel thing with Mr Bitters, Budda Bob, her family and others and quite frankly felt she couldn't do it, she was struggling to breathe again before seeing a few people out of the corner of her eyes, people she hadn't seen for about three four months now.

"BLAINE! KITTY! SANTANA, QUINN!, GUYS!" She screeched before they all ran up hugging each other quickly informing the other's about what had happened when she'd left.

"So we heard there'd be a show being put on here for your class project, you know the one you came over to us for?"

"I'm aware Kit, it's just -"

"You want us there? We flew out the minute you did, just on a different plane. Don't say we don't look out for you" Kitty responded and she nodded.

"Thanks for coming over either way. How's New York, Santana? Heard you recently moved there with you joining as well Quinn?"

"You aren't wrong, Quinn's getting her flat sorted because she doesn't want to share with me and Britt. Shocker"

"I know you'll be happy there. Both of you. Now I'd better go and perform!"They all went over to the main performance stage, everyone hushing people again while the teacher introduced Katie as a solo act with some backup, where'd she gone and who with before clapping.

After she finished, all of the New Directions that were there screamed and clamored her with praise and jumping up and down. The boys started to approach when Jett and his goons appeared...with Kyle and Tyler.

"Hey Tyler! What dy'a think, I'll take that money now. I won fair and square. Hey Kyle"

"Hi Katie, you were really cool. I'd be wary of Jett right now though, he's trying to get your brothers in trouble with Gustavo and Kelly again. I figured you oughta know after the Jo scandal. Come on Tyler, Dak wants us to help him unload boxes for whatever reason. See ya round Knight"

"Wow, you're a big name here, huh?"
"Only cos of money making schemes plus y'know, my family's in a well known band. That happens to but mostly the money thing"

Katie Knight had finally said a proper goodbye to the Ohio gang as they boarded their plane and as she kicked off her sandals she knew that even if she was going to miss them - a year changed so much - then at least she could call them or have visits. Plus it was good to be home. The boys immediately bundled on her as a way of a group hug.

"So the year wasn't as bad as you thought it was going to be then?"

"No, it wasn't. Not at all"
