First things first, I want to make a shout out to Matharose12, a guest who sent me the loveliest review ever. Thanks so much for the amazing review and I'm glad you enjoy my writing.

On to the show!

Previously on AHEA:

"Yuulan Mana. For my little prince. And Nirizel Froi, for my little bird." Allen whispered.

Cross didn't want to interrupt the happy family, but they needed to move, and quickly. If those stupid fucks were still after Allen after all this time then something was up and he wanted to know more.

"I'm sorry to interrupt this but we need to move to a more secure location, these people are still after Allen and he won't be able to escape as easily this time. I have a fort we can get to but it will take a few days on horseback." Cross said as he approached the royal family. Kanda finally looked up from his husband and children's faces and gave Cross a speculative glance before nodding and tugging the eldest twin to his chest.

"Allen, we must leave. Our babes need to be safe and this place isn't." The king whispered as he grabbed hold of little Nirizel from his lovers arms. Allen nodded and made to get up when he felt a jolt of pain. Looking down he saw that he was still bleeding from the incision in his stomach and winced at the oozing. Kanda bit his lip, he wanted to keep his lover safe but he couldn't let them stay here other. With a nod to one of the guards, he placed his second born in the hands of Cross and had the strange woman take his eldest so he could assist his husband.

"Will you be alright to move?" the king asked, watching as his consort nodded as he stood up. The one guard came back in and called out that the message to Lavi had been relayed and the two could head to the summer palace.

"I wasn't aware that there was a summer palace." Allen stated as he limped with his husband out of the cottage.

"We rarely use it, its more of a small villa my grandfather purchased for his wife but was never used. Only the royal family and a few guards know of its existence, let alone its location. We should be safe there." The albino nodded and shrugged his husbands arm off, gesturing for his twins to be brought to him. With arms now full of sleeping children, the consort nodded and together the small entourage made their way to the villa.

It took the small entourage two weeks to arrive at the small villa hidden away from view. The villa itself was maybe four rooms in total made of stucco painted with various designs. The surrounding garden was overgrown and in full bloom, the variety of flowers and plants was astounding to Allen who had gasped at the gorgeous place before his eyes. With a smile, Allen spun and gave his husband a gentle kiss before taking his sons into his arms and walking into their new home, no matter how temporary.

Kanda smiled and walked behind his husband, observing the gorgeous scene before him; his love was holding their sons with such care and pointing out the various flora and naming them with a goofy grin on his face.

"This here is chamomile, it is common in my country and used to make tea. I have a feeling neither of you will like tea very much." Allen said, scooping down so his two boys could see the plant on an even scale. Yuulan giggled and made to grab the plant but stopped when his younger twin shrieked as a small sparrow flew by. Kanda came up and wrapped an arm around his husband, using the other to stroke both of his sons' heads.

"We should get inside love, its almost dusk and these two need to sleep." the king said as he lead his family through the front door and into the house, noting that the place was free of dust. With a silent 'thank you' to Lavi for getting there ahead of them he proceeded to walk the twins over to their bedroom where a single large crib lay.

"Yuu, this is perfect. Come now little ones, it is time to sleep." Allen whispered, setting his small children into their crib with a kiss to each of their foreheads. Humming, Allen began to sing a soft lullaby, unaware of what or how he sang.

Xiànzài tōngguò àiqíng shuìjiào, yèwǎn láile.

Yuèliàng kànzhe nǐ. Qīngsōng xiūxí.

Wǒ huì zài zhèlǐ, wǒ de háizimen. Xiūxí zhídào tàiyáng shēng qǐ.

Bùyào hàipà, wǒ huì bǎohù nǐ.

Shuìjiào wǒ de ài, zhídào wǒmen xǐng lái dì nà yītiān.

Kanda looked on it shock, he had never heard his husband speak in such a language, much less sing in it. With a look of confusion, the king went over and kissed his children and then his husband, waiting a moment before asking his question.

"Allen?"

"Hmm?"

"What song was that? I've never heard it before, it's not the one you sang while in captivity." Allen looked at Kanda bemused.

"I...I'm not sure. It just came to me, I'm not sure I even know what language I spoke." Nodding, Kanda decided to drop the subject, clearly seeing the confusion eating at his husband fiercely.

Hi...sorry for the short chapter, this is more of a filler. Muse hasn't been great. Anywho...I used google translate in Chinese traditional for this song I randomly wrote so don't kill me. Hope y'all enjoyed!
