Epilogue

Ylisstol Market Place.

A deep sigh huffed from Robin as he walked down the street. He looked down at his infant daughter who was nuzzled against his chest, tiny arms clinging to his shirt. "Nyna, not again..." he lamented.

Nowi, walking jubilantly by Robin's side couldn't help but giggle at her husband's frustration. She knew that tone of his all too well. "Did she bite another hole in your shirt again, babe?"

Her question was met with a forlorn nod as Robin tried to pull his shirt free from the baby Manakete's mouth. Even when he managed to pry it from his daughter's strong slightly sharp fangs, he couldn't stay frustrated forever, not with her. It was fortunate his wife was an accomplished seamstress. Lifting Nyna closer to his face, he mock-sneered at her. "Y'know, young lady, the day will come when that charm of yours is gonna wear off. You just watch and see..."

Nyna, lacking the linguistics to come up with a proper response simply settled with placing her tiny arms at both sides of Robin's cheeks and planting a small kiss at her father's nose. "Just remember, hon: If you're the dad of a dragon, don't expect that charm to wear off anytime soon." Nowi wagged her finger teasingly.

As hard as he tried to look serious, Robin just could not take all the sheer cuteness Nyna exuded and allowed her to continue biting on his shirt. She had to teeth on something anyway. "I know, I know. I just hope she doesn't grow up having me wrapped around her fingers the whole time." he chuckled while stroking the child's soft silver hair.

Nowi wrapped an arm around Robin's waist as they walked together. "Aw, don't you worry about that. I've already taken that role." She winked suggestively at him bringing a blush to her huband's face.

"I just remembered, weren't you supposed to do something important at the castle today?" Robin changed the subject as he looked to the open doors of the town florist.

"Oh no!" Nowi gasped and slapped her forehead when she gave the important task some thought. "I-I forgot, I'm late for my fitting today! I gotta go, babe, can you handle the rest on your own?"

"Sure, just do me a favor and please-"

Before Robin could finish, Nowi quickly changed into her Dragon-form and abruptly flew off into the sky, wind blasting every which way from the mighty flap of her wings. The sudden action was enough to startle the unprepared and the wind blew Robin's white hair back into a different style. But worst of all was Nyna having now burst into tears from the whole event.

"...don't turn into a Dragon because it upsets Nyna..." He sighed, long after she had departed. The former-tactician was left standing with a bawling Nyna while he straightened his hair with one hand and tried to gently rock he little Manakete calm again.

Meanwhile, at the castle, it was as chaotic as it had been just the same for the past month with maids scurrying to and fro in every square inch of the building. Although everything had been properly set up and decorated for the upcoming wedding, one very crucial element had been missing and had everone in a bit of an uproar over it all.

"Of all days, why must she be missing today!?" A voice shouted from the upper residential chambers. Maribelle, the owner of said voice, paced back and forth carrying an assortment of pins, needles and threads in her mouth or arms.

"I'm sure she'll be home soon, Auntie." Morgan said as she carried in Nowi's wedding dress. The gown was nearly complete, only needing a stick here and an adjustment there. However, without Nowi actually here to shape the alterations around, there was little the noblewoman could do.

"I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. Your mother always had an issue with doing things in a timely manner. And where is your sister, darling?"

Morgan placed the dress over a wooden pole to keep it propped upright until her mother's return, then took a seat on one of the wooden storage chests. "She's still practicing for tomorrow. We've almost got our routine down perfectly."

Maribelle examined the dress and pulled one of the sewing needles from her mouth and carefully began threading it. "Still? I've seen you two go at it for days now, surely you've gotten the performance down properly?"

"Not just yet, but we should have it perfected by tomorrow. So, is there anything else you need?" The Manakete idly kicked her legs waiting for her aunt to give her permission to leave so she could continue her routine with Nah.

"Yes, yes dear. Go on. And if you happen to bump into your mother, do be sure to send her my way, alright?" Morgan nodded respectfully, hopped off the chest and left the room to rejoin her sister in the training grounds.

Nah was busy, perched upon one of the castle's walls in her Dragon-form periodically puffing small blasts of fire into the sky at regular intervals. Although she needed Morgan to assist her, she still preferred to do some practice on her own. Morgan finally walked into the training yard and waved up to her older sister.

"Sorry I had to leave Nah, but I'm ready to keep practicing!" She stretched her arms a bit then used her Dragonstone to transform into a Dragon and lifted herself up to the opposite wall that Nah was sitting on.

"Don't worry about it, I've been working on my aim while you were gone. I think I got it this time." Nah responded. She blew a moderately sized puff of fire upward that soard into the direction of the sun before fizzling out harmlessly.

"Cool! Okay, let's try it together. One, two-"

"INCOMIIIING!"

A shrill cry from the distance rang over the two Manakete's heads only for them to look up and see Nowi performing a dive-bomb in their direction. Both girls cringed in anticipation for their mother's impact. Just before Nowi would smash into the ground, she actually landed quite gently on the grass with a smooth flourish of her wings and transformed back to her human shape. "Hi kids, bye kids I'm late!" she quickly said before running into the castle.

Nowi quickly dashed from one end of the castle to the other, being careful not to bump into anyone or anything along the way dodging underneath ribbons over a crookedly placed pew or two and past dozens of maids, the last thing she wanted to do was break something and put an even bigger workload on everyone's back. Finally she made it to her temporary room to see Maribelle already there and working on the rest of her dress.

"Hey, sorry I'm late Maribelle. I was out with Robin picking up the flowers and forgot about the dress." Nowi panted from her sprint. Maribelle simply rolled her eyes but was relieved to finally have the girl here so the dress could be completed.

"And here I thought you'd simply gotten lost within the castle. Well, no harm done at least, just get the dress on and we can have this finished in no time, dear." Nowi complied and changed into her wedding dress. It was fortunate her run through the castle hadn't made her sweat, otherwise getting the gown on would be a bit harder and less comfortable.

As it was, the dress was still a bit loose in some areas, but nothing Maribelle couldn't fix with a few threads around the waist. "I must say, if anyone has had their marriage long overdue, it would have to be you and Robin." she commented while pulling the dress tight and adjusting the back.

"I already told you, 'Belle, we're technically already husband and wife." The Manakete laughed.

"Yes, I know. Manaketes exchanging Dragonstones and whatnot. Although if you were going by human traditions, that would normally be an engagement. Hold your hair back please?"

"I still think it's weird. I know humans like to have all these big ceremonies and all, but I always preferred the simpler ways. Less stress, y'know?" Nowi bunched her ahir in her hands and flipped her locks over her shoulder. "You wouldn't believe how many flower shops Robin and I had to visit in the last few days. Ugh."

"Oh, too true, darling. Too true. Although when you have a man like Gaius, finding a cake becomes damn near impossible."

"Ha! I remember that! He kept eating half of them and said he had to keep trying one more slice before he could make a decision!"

"Alright, aaand... We are done." Maribelle stood up properly and turned Nowi towards the fully body mirror. "How does it feel?"

Nowi stepped down from the stool she was on and looked at the dress and her figure. She turned to the left, then the right, and all the way around to see the back. So far the garment fit her figure quite nicely. "It's great, Maribelle!" She placed a hand on her stomach and viewed herself from the side again. "I gotta admit, I look pretty good even after having a kid."

"Oh hush. You look perfect, dear." Maribelle turned Nowi back to the mirror again and placed her head on Nowi's shoulder and smiled with pride at seeing a woman who she considered a sister in a wedding dress of her own. She would never forget the eve of her own wedding day. How Nowi was still deeply wounded from Robin's loss even though she tried her best to put on a smile. It was empty and forced, but she hurt inside all the same. But now, she could have a genuine smile that didn't need to be a lie, and nothing would make the blonde noble happier than seeing her sister marry.

"Hey, Maribelle... about Robin. Are you still...?" Nowi trailed off of the obvious question. Maribelle only chuckled softly when asked.

"No dear. I'm not in love with Robin anymore. We've resolved that a long time ago."

"Just making sure. We wouldn't want any harbored feelings of unrequited love, right?" Nowi winked slyly.

Maribelle turned and picked up all of her sewing needles and threads. "There's no fear of that. I realize Robin and I aren't meant to be. Besides, the man has a very odd tastes in women." She giggled with her back turned.

"What? Falling in love with a Dragon? Yeah, totally weird. Oh, by the way, what was Robin born to be again? And who fell for him first, hmm?"

"Now that is not fair. No one knew he was supposed to turn into that ghastly beast."

"Hypocrite." Nowi quipped.

"Wench." Maribelle shot back. Both of them looked intently at each other before breaking their stern gazes and erupted into laughter.

Outside of the castle, Robin was walking back home with the bouquet of flower he needed and Nyna resting quietly against his shoulder. On his way up to the palace road, he was greeted by almost everyone who crossed his path and wished him the best for tomorrow. He was pleased to see most of the Shepherds had been in town to attend the wedding, but he did wish to see the children return as well. Although, he figured they would also wish him the best if they could.

Once he made it to the front doors of the palace, he handed the bouquet off to one of the maids and switched arms while carrying Nyna as his other one was growing tired from holding the baby without rest for the longest time.

"Welcome home, how did everything go?" Chrom asked while descending the steps of the grand hall with a ledger in hand.

"Painfully. I had to walk to both ends of town to find a florist that had the proper flowers, and even then, one with a good enough price." he sighed. "But, at least I got one. I just want to have a nice bath and lay down for the rest of the day. My feet are killing me..."

"Don't worry, it's almost over. You just focus on relaxing for the rest of the day and leave the rest up to me." Chrom patted Robin on the shoulder and nudged him towards the stairs the his chambers, then turned to direct a few maids to their next task.

While walking to his room, he noticed two figures coming in from the training grounds. "Hello, girls. How has everything been today?"

"Not bad. I'd say we had a productive day." Nah responded, straightening her slightly messy hair from practicing with Morgan. Robin noticed that she had a patch of soot on her cheek and licked his thumb which he pressed against her face to wipe it clean. "F-Father! Gross!" the white-haired Manakete recoiled from Robin's arm and wiped his saliva from her face.

"You had a little something right here, sweetie." he laughed warmly. Morgan snickered at her sister's treatment. "I don't know why you're laughing young lady, you've got some on your forehead, y'know." Robin licked his thumb again and attempted to wipe away the soot from Morgan's head, only for her to back away and hide behind Nah.

"Yuck! Dad-germs!" she squealed. She grabbed the upper back of Nah's white blouse and wipped the smudge away on her own. "See? Nothing here! No need to get spit on me, Dad!" she chirped.

"Morgan... did you just use my clothes as a rag...?" Nah asked grimly as she slowly craned her head to her younger sister.

"Uh... will you hit me if I say yes?" Morgan nearly shrank, hoping the answer wouldn't be negative.

"Aw, of course not." Nah gently placed a hand at her sister's shoulder. "...I'm gonna kill you. Plain and simple." She quickly held Morgan's arm behind her back in a painful grapple and held her other arm over her neck.

"Ack! D-Dad, help!" the younger sibling choked out. Unfortunately, Robin had already started walking down the hall, waving farewell to them.

"Sorry, Daddy's off the clock for today. Try not to break anything." He called before retiring to his room.

Later that night when nearly the whole castle had gone silent, Nowi moved cautiously through the darkened halls, making sure she would make little noise and not alert the nightly patrol. She walked all the way to the other wing of the castle and straight to Robin's room, which was previously both of theirs before Nowi took temporary residence in the guest room for the wedding. Making sure no one was around, she knocked carefully on the wooden door, hoping Robin would be awake at this hour, and if she knew him like she thought she did, chances are he was most definitely awake.

Robin lifted his head from the book he was reading and gentle stood up from his bed, placing the book page-side down. He walked to the door and opened it ever so slightly only to see Nowi standing outside in her nightgown. "Sorry babe, did I wake you?" she whispered.

"No, it's alright. But, uh, isn't it considered bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding?"

"I'm willing to risk it. I just wanted to say good-night to Nyna before I went to bed." Robin slowly opened the door so the creak wouldn't wake the baby up. She was sleeping wrapped snugly in a small blanket cozied up next to her father before he had gotten up. Nowi gently placed a kiss at her daughter's forehead before whispering "Sweet dreams, baby." and running her hand through her smooth white hair. She turned to Robin and placed a kiss at his cheek, whispering the same thing and leaving them alone for the rest of the night. Robin quietly closed the door behind Nowi and crawled back into bed with his book in one hand and Nyna wrapped around the other while he continued to read to her.

"Alright. Today's the day Robin. Are you nervous?" Chrom asked, massaging Robin's shoulders as he staring into a mirror adjusting his shirt collar. The two men stood in the former tactician's near-empty room as Chrom helped Robin, being his best man. He helped him dress and made sure there were no blemishes on his person.

"Huh. I'm getting the strangest feeling of deja vu right now..." Robin commented while he ran his fingers through his hair one last time to make sure he looked his best.

"Likely because I was in your position a few years ago, remember?" Chrom reached for an artificial pink rose made of cloth and placed it in Robin's lapel to complete his look. "And there we have it. You're all set."

"You're the best Chrom. I couldn't have picked a best man more capable than you."

"I do what I can. Okay, now let's get out there, your public's waiting." The Exalt pushed the doors open and gestured for Robin to go first.

On the other end of things, Nowi stood just outside the grand hall clutching the bouquet in her hands tightly. She never would have thought in thousands of years she would be part of something so grand as this. Looking back, she understood perfectly well why Maribelle was so nervous on her wedding day. That was a person she could really use right now. Maribelle was already at the altar with the other bridesmaids, but the Manakete really wished she were with her at the moment. A little pep talk would do wonders for her nerves.

"Okay, Nowi. Just breath deep... and let it out... breath deep... and let it out..." she repeated as if it were some chant. Finally, that familiar tune was played throughout the hall by the violists and the doors opened before her. Slowly, she walked down the aisle holding the bouquet of flowers possessively to her chest. Her gaze was focused on Robin who never broke eye contact with her. She was all to eager to make it to the end of this walk, but continued to take it nice and easy. Everyone rose to their feet as Nowi walked by their seats. The crowd was much smaller than what Chrom and Sumia had at their wedding, although their guest list could never compare to a royal wedding. Plus, it suited her just fine. Almost everyone here was a close friend that she knew from her partnership with the Shepherds, barring a few nobles and family members of her friends.

Finally, Nowi reached the altar at the end of the grand hall and took her place at Libra's side, directly parallel from Robin. Everyone took their seat and Libra turned a few pages within a bible he was provided for the ceremony and cleared his throat to begin.

"Dearly Beloved, we are gathered together here in the sign of the Gods – and in the face of this company – to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony, which is commended to be honorable among all men; and therefore – is not by any – to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly – but reverently, discreetly, advisedly and solemnly. Into this holy estate these two persons present now come to be joined. If any person can show just cause why they may not be joined together – let them speak now or forever hold their peace."

As expected, no one had a thing to say. Libra continued on.

"Marriage is the union of husband and wife in heart, body and mind. It is intended for their mutual joy – and for the help and comfort given on another in prosperity and adversity. But more importantly – it is a means through which a stable and loving environment may be attained.

Through marriage, Robin and Nowi make a commitment together to face their disappointments – embrace their dreams – realize their hopes – and accept each other's failures. Robin and Nowi will promise one another to aspire to these ideals throughout their lives together – through mutual understanding – openness – and sensitivity to each other.

We are here today – before the Gods – because marriage is one of Their most sacred wishes – to witness the joining in marriage of Robin and Nowi. This occasion marks the celebration of love and commitment with which this man and this woman begin their life together. And now – through me – They joins you together in one of the holiest bonds.

Who gives this woman in marriage to this man?"

Maribelle stepped forward and confidently spoke. "I do." Though not blood, Nowi was her sister, plain and simple and she would gladly be the one to pass the message along.

"This is a beginning and a continuation of their growth as individuals. With mutual care, respect, responsibility and knowledge comes the affirmation of each one's own life happiness, growth and freedom. With respect for individual boundaries comes the freedom to love unconditionally. Within the emotional safety of a loving relationship – the knowledge self-offered one another becomes the fertile soil for continued growth. With care and responsibility towards self and one another comes the potential for full and happy lives.

By gathering together all the wishes of happiness and our fondest hopes for Robin and Nowi from all present here, we assure them that our hearts are in tune with theirs. These moments are so meaningful to all of us, for what greater thing is there for two souls than to feel that they are joined together – to strengthen each other in all labor – to minister to each other in all sorrow – to share with each other in all gladness.

This relationship stands for love, loyalty, honesty and trust, but most of all for friendship. Before they knew love, they were friends, and it was from this seed of friendship that is their destiny. Do not think that you can direct the course of love – for love, if it finds you worthy, shall direct you.

Marriage is an act of faith and a personal commitment as well as a moral and physical union between two people. Marriage has been described as the best and most important relationship that can exist between them. It is the construction of their love and trust into a single growing energy of spiritual life. It is a moral commitment that requires and deserves daily attention. Marriage should be a life long consecration of the ideal of loving kindness – backed with the will to make it last."

Libra closed his bible and tucked it under his arm, still holding his place.

"The couple has written their own vows, which they wish to express now."

Libra stepped back and allowed Robin his time to speak. Robin pulled a small square of paper from his jacket pocket and unfolded it.

"Nowi, in the time that I've known you, I have never felt more joy in my life than spending each and every day with you. Although the bond we've forged was done in the fires of war, I am grateful for every second I fought, cried and bled, if only it meant living one more day with you. We have faced our share of trials, you and I. Trials that would break a normal couple or shake lesser people to their core. Yet though all of that, you have remained a pillar of support for me and braved those very trials by my side. And even when I had to leave yours, you never gave up on me. Many people say they would give their lives for the one the love. Few have ever lived up to such a promise. And so, I promise to spend this second life making you happy until my last breath, and hope that my love will sustain you throughout the man years you yet have to live. For when the day comes that I can no longer be by your side, I will ensure that I will grant you memories strong enough that I will forever be in your heart."

Normally, Nowi wouldn't dare to look to her inevitably lonely future, and yet, Robin's words filled her with unbridled love for him far more than she had felt before. To think, that his only concern for her was her own happiness, even in the face of his certain mortality. It brought genuine tears to her eyes.

At first, Nowi had trouble trying to convey her words. She was struck so hard by his words, she nearly forgot her own. She needed a moment, but found her voice and spoke with shaky breath.

"Robin, the very day I met you, I never dared to dream you and I could be together. All my life, I resigned myself to walking this Earth alone and hoping to meet people that would allow me to be happy for even a short time. But you were different. You've given me hope. You've given me dreams. You've given me a family. I never thought I could have these, but you provided. To normal people, I'm a woman with the unnatural ability to be something others can never become. To you, I am just an ordinary woman, scales and all. Because of you, I could feel love, and I'll treasure it- and you- forever and ever."

Not a single eye was dry from hearing these words. They struck all who heard them in that special place that drew them to their own loves. Any couples that happened to be in the room were closely holding their loved one next to them, reminded of why they had fallen in love to begin with.

Libra ran a hand through his blonde hair, but it was also a covert attempt to wipe a single tear away before continuing on.

"I ask now, if anyone here has the rings that shall bind these two?" he asked.

Chrom reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out two small gold bands and handed them to Libra. One was for Robin to give to Nowi, inlaid with the same blue gem he had crafted for her first ring. The other was for Nowi to give to Robin, the shining white gem that was a fragment of her late mother's Dragonstone adorning its new band.

Libra handed the couple their rings, and watched as they exchanged them.

"Do you Robin take Nowi to be your wife – to live together after the Gods' ordinance – in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, for better, for worse, in sadness and in joy, to cherish and continually bestow upon her your heart's deepest devotion, forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto her as long as you both shall live?"

Robin answered with a confident, "I do."

"And do you Nowi take Robin to be your husband – to live together after the Gods' ordinance – in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, for better, for worse, in sadness and in joy, to cherish and continually bestow upon him your heart's deepest devotion, forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto him as long as you both shall live?"

Tearfully, Nowi answered, "I do!"

At this, Libra closed the book and spoke once more. "Then, by the power vested in my by the Royal House of Ylisse, I now pronounce you, Nowi and Robin, man and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

Robin lifted Nowi's veil over her head and leaned in for their first kiss as a married couple. The Manakete was all to ready for this and pulled her husband in for their kiss, to the cheer and applause of everyone around them. A funny thing Robin noticed, because of Nowi's heeled shoes, he no longer needed to lean down slightly to kiss her, but his instincts accidentally lead him to lean in for a deeper kiss than intended, but his new bride had no objections.

That evening, the reception was absolutely abuzz with activity. Somehow, even though there were less people here than the royal wedding Chrom and Sumia had, things seemed even more lively than the previous one. Everyone was in too good of spirits tonight. They all danced, drank, and ate to their heart's content while enjoying everyone's company.

In a rare moment, Robin found some time for himself to rest and took a seat for a moment. He was quickly approached by Sumia, dressed in her finest and accompanied by her daughter, wearing an adorable blue dress. "Good evening to the fine queen and young princess!" he enthusiastically greeted. The wine was starting to kick in.

"Oh Robin, how much have you had to drink?" Sumia asked, judging by her tone, she hadn't touched a glass the whole night.

"Only one... in the past hour." he snickered. "What can I do for Her Majesty?"

"Well, I'm glad you asked, because Her Majesty has requested a dance." Sumia stepped back and placed her hands on Lucina's shoulders. The young princess had her arms folded at her front with her head bowed, her navy hair almost hid her own blush and smile.

"Hm, it certainly would be rude of me to deny the princess of her wish. C'mon Lucina, let's have a dance." Robin stood back up and reached a hand out to the girl. She graciously accepted and grabbed his hand as they moved back onto the dance floor.

Sumia stood in place and reached for a glass of ice water that was at the table. Chrom emerged from the crowd and walked up to his wife. "So, did you tell him the news?" he asked esoterically.

"What news, love?" Sumia asked, sipping her ice water.

"You know what news." Chrom smiled and gently rubbed a hand at her stomach.

"Robin doesn't need to know about that just yet, Chrom." She held her own hand over Chrom's and squeezed it over her belly protectively. "Besides, this is his day. Let's not make it about us, okay?"

"I suppose..." Chrom watched as Robin danced with Lucina. It was a little awkward given his stance to accommodate the princess' lower height, but it was fun to see. "So, how long do you think it'll be before they get to work on Morgan?" The Exalt asked, prompting a surprised look from his wife.

"Chrom? How much have you had to drink?"

"Two, give or take."

"In the past hour?"

"Thirty minutes."

"I think that'll be enough..."

After the last song, Robin bowed to Lucina as their dance concluded. The little princess made her way back to her parents, and Robin decided to find his own little girls. At the edge of the crowd near the wedding cake, Robin spotted Maribelle cradling Nyna and conversed with Nowi while Gaius stuffed his face with what was left over of the cake.

"Good evening girls, have any of you seen Nah and Morgan?" Robin asked as he took a seat next to his bride.

"I'm afraid I haven't. I've been keeping an eye on this adorable little girl, yes I have!" Maribelle nuzzled her nose against Nyna's, and the little Manakete found endless amusement as she giggled for more.

As if on cue, the noise from the crowd died down from the ring of a spoon against a glass of wine. "Attention everyone!" Nah announced. "We request al guests please relocate to the front gates of the castle! Preferably in the next ten minutes!"

Morgan would lead all the guests from the dance hall to the gates while Nah had gone elsewhere. As for what they were planning was anybody's guess. Likely something to do with the "routine" they had been going on about for a few days now.

Soon, everyone was standing before the castle gates, wondering what it was the girls wanted them to see. After Morgan had lead everyone outside, she too disappeared. Everyone whispered and murmured among themselves at what this could possibly be fore.

Finally, after approximately ten minutes, a bright flash was seen from over the castle walls, a bright flash any of the Shepherds were very familiar with; It was the sign of a Manakete transforming. Just after the flash, Morgan and Nah ascended all the way up to the spire of two towers that were parallel to each other.

"Ladies and gentlemen!" The violet Dragon announced. "Allow us to commemorate the marriage of this couple with a special performance! Ready, Morgan?"

"Ready!" the other replied.

Both Dragons winded back and spat out a puff of fire upward untill the flares crashed against each other and burst into a colorful rain of red and blue sparkles in the sky. The crowd gasped in amazement, this was like nothing they had ever seen. Again, both girls spat a ball of flame, but slightly bigger than before. They collided perfectly, sending another rain of color showering down before everyone. The cheers continued with applause and claps from every single person there.

The show lasted for quite a while, but nobody seemed to notice because of the show's captivating nature. Finally, the sister's decided to wrap the performance up with a big bang. Once again, they leaned back, longer and farther than all the other times and unleashed very large blasts of flame that collided into each other perfectly, again and again and again. The night sky was absolutely radiant from the show and even though it had finally ended, the cheers did not. The two Dragons descended from the towers and back into the castle, to open the gates and lead everyone back inside.

As far as everyone was concerned, the night was still very young, and the festivities continued. Robin finally caught his daughters and walked up to them. "Girls, that... that was nothing short of outstanding. Really, color me impressed!" Robin praised.

"Aw, it was Morgan's idea, really." Nah bashfully twirled one of her pig-tails around her finger.

"I think both of you did a tanfastic job." Nowi said. "Er, fantastic is what I meant." she corrected herself and tried not to snicker at her mistake.

"Why, Nowi? Are you tipsy?" Maribelle glided right up next to the bride and shot her this sly grin. "Whatever happened to Manaketes having high alcohol tolerance?"

"Let's be fair though, Nowi's been chugging wine like it was juice." Gaius interjected, wiping crumbs off his jacket.

"Oh, it's you Gaius. I couldn't recognize you without our wedding cake jammed into your mouth." Robin joked.

Nowi took another glass of wine and downed it rather quickly. "Robin's gotta point though. I haven't seen you leave this table since we got in here, Gaius."

"Hey, when you make dessert as tasty as that, don't get surprised when people start chomping at the bit for a taste." Gaius shrugged the jokes off tried to get one last piece before anyone else.

After a while, a new song was being performed, perfect for slow dancing. Robin looked to Nowi with a knowing smile. She knew what he was going to ask, but she smiled and shook her head. "I've got a better idea, babe." She leaned in close to Robin's ear and whispered something only to him. Maribelle hadn't noticed because of her constant fawning over Nyna, while Morgan and Nah tried to guess what it was.

Whatever it was she was telling him, Robin's eyes grew wider as she continued explaining. When she finished, she withdrew from him, and had a flushed look on her face, but leaving Robin with the same expression.

"What'd she say, Dad? What'd Mom say?" Morgan demanded.

Robin cleared his throat and coughed slightly into his right hand. "Uh, you know what girls? Your mother and I are pretty tired right I'm just gonna take Nowi and head off to bed, alright?"

"But what did Mom say, though!?" the younger sister asked again.

"She said she's tired and she wants me to take her to bed." Robin insisted. "Right, honey?"

"Yyyup!" Nowi chirped and wrapped her arms around her husband's free arm.

"See? We're just gonna go to bed, you guys enjoy yourselves, alright?" The couple got up from their seats and walked at a brisk pace for the exit. Nah and Morgan shrugged at each other, utterly confused. It wasn't THAT late, after all.

"Maybe they're going to bed early because they had such a long day." Nah suggested.

"If you ask me, I don't think either of them will be getting some sleep tonight." Gaius laughed to himself. Although Maribelle was busy entertaining her niece, she found enough time to stomp on her husband's foot, which only continued to amuse the girl. Nah and Morgan only continued to look puzzled.

Back at the newlywed's bedroom, they hardly made it inside, as Nowi had been greedily picking at Robin's shirt the entire way there since they left the dance hall. They had been furiously kissing each other the second they were outside. By the time Robin shut the door, she had already discarded his jacket and was working on each individual button that held his shirt in place.

Gently, Robin picked Nowi up off the ground and laid her onto their neatly made bed. They looked into each other's eyes briefly and returned to their lip lock, though with less fervor and hunger.

"Gods, I still can't believe I got tipsy tonight~." Nowi swooned, as she struggled to under the laces on the back of her gown.

"There's a first time for everything, you know." he replied, unbuttoning his shirt completely.

"Robin, how many 'first times' can you consummate your marriage?" Nowi ran her slender fingers through Robin's white hair in repeated strokes.

"Does it matter how many times before hand as long as we do on our wedding night?" His question also had a bit of a hidden answer behind it.

"I suppose not." With one more pluck of the lace, Nowi was able to completely undo her gown. As Robin carefully pulled the gown off her frame, they never broke eye contact. "I love you, Robin." she said earnestly, cupping his face in her hands while her thumbs traced his lips.

"I love you too, Nowi. Now and forever." Gently, he laid her down to the soft pillows of their bed and the couple spent the entire night nestled in each other's arms.

A/N: Man oh MAN! This chapter was a LONG time coming and months overdue! I'll bet you guys and gals thought I forgot about this ol' fanfic, didn't ya? Absolutely not! But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't distracted by a lot of things.

First off, the reason this took way too long to update and finish was because I lost interest in the story for a while. And then, I created my MuxMaribelle fanfic, which, in tern I prioritized over this one, which lead to the slow trickle to the sudden drought. Another factor was because I had actually deleted the first entry I had planned for the final chapter because I was unsatisfied with the way I wrote it. After that, my motivation was shot. But! I realized that I had to finish this chapter, so I rewrote it from the ground up, and voila! It took a lot of time, and a lot of effort to finish this chapter, so I hope you guys and gals enjoyed it.

And just because this story has ended, doesn't mean Robin and Nowi's story does. I've been thinking of making a continuation of this fic, since I've grown pretty attached to this couple recently. When will that happen? I dunno, but don't expect anything in the near future. Okay, maybe near, but not SERIOUSLY near. Like this year near.

Oh yeah! Another factor with why I had kept this particular chapter under wraps for so long was because I wanted to release it on Nowi's birthday! Yes people, today is Nowi's birthday, and what better way to celebrate it than concluding my most popular fic ever involving her?

I know it sounds a little bit cheap, but I figured it would make a nice ending to end on Nowi's birthday.

So yes, this fanfic is finally complete! No more updates, people! I'd like to thank every single one of you that followed and favorited my story. It means a lot, it really does. So thanks again for sticking through to the very end. I hope you enjoyed this fanfic as much as I did writing in it.
