Summary: Tsuna didn't really know how it happened. One moment he was walking down the street and the next he ended up in a very dark room with people not really looking very happy to see him. Moreover, what caused Tsuna to panic at this was the sight of the first generation of Vongola along with an adult looking Reborn. Apparently Tsuna was quite infamous in this parallel world...

For how long had they been fighting? Two hours? Four? Tsuna couldn't honestly tell anymore as they kept dancing around in circles in the backyard of Kawahira's house. He still could clearly recall how he'd woken up that morning by Natsu sitting on top of him mewing excitedly. He had in his barely woken state accidently fallen down from his bed with a loud crash and unfortunately shrieked in surprise.

Natsu continued with his strange behaviour and jumped down in front of the door and scratched in furiously, mewing several times in frustration. Tsuna didn't get the chance to catch on what got Natsu in such a frenzy before he heard a knock on his door and Kawahira's voice resounded from the outside, asking him what was going on.

The young Vongola Decimo had felt dread spreading from his spine and he blurted out a pitiful excuse before the door opened. Natsu ran out at the opportunity and Tsuna panicked. He bolted towards the door.

"Natsu! Stop-"

He didn't get further in his exclamation when his mind ground to a halt. The first thought of even more panic surged as Natsu had seemingly jumped on top of a kid in the hallway. His intuition spiked and he felt recognition in the kid's appearance. His thoughts went into overdrive as he tried comprehending seeing a very young Kyoya stare back at him. His emotions was a mess. He was overbearingly happy to see one of his guardians but yet a small voice back in his head reminded him that they weren't the same. This wasn't the same Kyoya he knew…

"I'll bite you to death…"

Or maybe they were. In any case Tsuna's blood went cold and horrified as he was from seeing the very familiar gleaming tonfas the young Kyoya brought up. Natsu squirmed behind his legs and made himself as small as possible, though, Tsuna couldn't remember when Natsu went there.

The raven haired carnivore lunged at them and with no other choice Tsuna moved.

Recalling he'd went dodging furious swings from two tonfas in a rather small hallway he almost congratulated himself from not taking a hit just yet and keeping his mouth shut tight in fear of uttering anything stupid. It would not help him if he made the raging Kyoya at his heels even more angry. He hardly noticed when they entered the living room and he started for all he could manage to avoid thrown tonfas that later found their way back to their owner in a matter of seconds after they'd been launched.

Tsuna felt the creeping suspicion that he'd need to activate his flames or he'd sure to get hit sooner or later and in a fluid motion he dropped down behind the couch and grabbed his mittens from his pockets. He managed to put them on before the carnivore jumped over the couch and slammed down both his tonfas at the brunet.

Rolling to the side Tsuna dodged with a couple of decimeters as the tonfas hit the floor with a crack. He jumped back a bit more before activating his gloves and received a thrown tonfa just missing his head and embedded in the wall behind him. Right thereafter a nine year old launching himself straight at him.

His flames surged but he held them down to not cause any necessary damage and caught the metal weapon with his left hand and guided it to the side while aiming a soft punch to the boy's side that caught him off guard and he fell to the side, rolling a couple of meters before he stopped and stared at the brunet.

Eyes orange and burning with a bit of challenge, he glanced at the boy he'd taken by surprise in the act of trying to blow his head in. It was a quiet ten seconds before Kyoya answered the challenge and ran towards him again.

So now they had been fighting until the sun was a way up from the horizon. Tsuna wasn't too tired yet as he'd been holding back and boosting himself little by little. But he knew now that Kyoya must by some means already be in some kind of training with how he moved, his almost careful nature in trying to outdo Tsuna with tricks that felt… stale in contrast to the Kyoya he knew.

The boy was almost out of breath now but refused to stop his onslaught of attacks. He had shown signs of Kyoya's style of fighting in the beginning when he'd still been smiling and grinning a bit too much in Tsuna's opinion. Now he still had a bit of it left but he could see it drop at times when he went into what Tsuna recognised as a set of pre-learned moves that was tricky to see through but he'd managed to increase the distance every time the boy tried attacking him that way.

The new style didn't suit the young cloud at all and that was enough to lit up concern within Tsuna.

Unfortunately he had other things to worry about when Natsu joined up with them again during the fight and the brunet was sure something had caught on fire.

Ombra glanced over the simple town of Namimori. As peaceful as a town could be it was still a boring place he'd come to find.

He didn't have much intel on this parallel world but what he had managed to scrape up from the locals and from his home world was enough to get by. Normally things would have been going on more smoothly but with so many pieces missing he needed to slow down and for once rework his plans. The first part of it had generally gone well enough. He wasn't sure if it went as well on the other side. Lady Luck wouldn't be on his side forever but he knew he had several back-ups in case things would go awry.

So why was he so tense?

He knew there were risks. Lots of them really. But that added to the fun of it all. Without any challenges things would have been even more boring as they were. Being a sitting duck until his traps back home would activate he wouldn't be able to proceed to the next step. As what had occurred at the Namimori shrine confirmed that his counterpart was at the exact same place. He'd felt the surge that tried to move them both back where they belonged.

A close call but nothing he couldn't handle.

So again, why?

Maybe fear had taken a hold of him. No, he wasn't exactly sure. Something else was keeping him from focusing on his plans. Maybe a force that contrasted to-.

Chaos.

Harmony.

Simple words. Not exactly opposites even though many saw them that way. A force of such harmony would probably be what held the worlds together.

The Tri-Ni-Sette.

His mind went more solemn at the thought of it. He should be despising the very thought of that thing. The one thing that should be standing in his way was so far away for him to even get a glimpse from. A goal far away from his reach. For now.

He just needed his trap activated. It was a gamble that he was willing to wait for. He just hoped the time wouldn't run out.

After all a dead counterpart wasn't as useful as a live one.

Giotto knew they hadn't much time left as Verde's reports showed how the substance of the pills that kept them still in place was starting to deconstruct. The time was running out to find the still missing boy. No allied famiglia had reported any signs of him or the person that was with him. Unless they had travelled faster on foot than humanly possible for several days which not impossible if they had access to dying will flames was still a huge risk for them. Such skilled flame wielders were rare and basically nonexistent to the records of the freelancers.

Though Giotto knew full and well those reports would surely be proven wrong if the freelancers were delirious enough to show it. Freelancers didn't give out their full potential to anyone unless they were ready to join a famiglia.

Moreover the fact of the deconstruction of the strange substance that seemed to keep the object in place was alarming. There was no real answer what would happen if it completely faded. Talbot and Verde had theorized that either the object would be pulled back to its original place of existence without much problems, or something more deadly than that. Due to Ombra's usual schemes Giotto knew the latter was more reasonable though he didn't like to admit it. Ombra was a risk-taker no matter the cost.

And yet the Vongola couldn't afford losing such a vital clue to Ombra's plans to simple death through parallel world instabilities. They needed to find this little clone and without him dying or disappearing again out of reach.

That first encounter with the boy had been something Giotto had went over in his head a thousand times by now. It was the only impression he personally had with him and could safely believe his intuition with. The boy had seemed confused, scared even, but there had been a look of recognition in his eyes when they first met. This small Ombra did most likely know about Giotto from his parallel world. It was a bit alarming in case the boy feared the Vongola but if he was anything close to Ombra's personality he hadn't shown it then and there.

So the boy was either a victim or on par with Ombra with his delusional appearance. Only Ombra didn't even try hiding his glee anymore.

Things changed too fast during the first two years of Ombra's first activities. For each scheme Ombra had become more chaotic, more sure of himself as he always managed to slip away. Even if his plans didn't succeed every time.

The blonde paced around in his office, over and over the thoughts bombarded him and strayed him away from his work until a tingling sensation went through his spine.

Someone else was there.

"Greetings, Giotto of Vongola."

The voice filled the room with a vibrant radiance as Giotto stopped his pacing and stared towards the great windows. For the first time someone had been able to sneak up on him within his office without triggering his intuition. And yet… his flames wasn't responding in defense to the obvious threat. Something was keeping him calm and at ease with this stranger. An even more reason to worry about his visitor. In the corner of his eyes he could make out checkered patterns running along the walls.

The short figure standing by the windows carefully took off an iron mask along with a silvery top hat. Blue brilliant eyes met his with a kind but nervous smile.

"I'm sorry for the intrusion and if I scared you, but I need your help. It's urgent."

Fon gave Kawahira a sceptical look.

Kyoya was entirely exhausted once Fon came to the estate. Whatever Kawahira had done was giving him more questions than usual. Kyoya rarely was this exhausted from 'delivering a letter'. Something was up.

"Who was he fighting?"

The white haired man shrugged casually. "Who knows. Someone he attacked."

"I figured as much, but who if I may ask?"

"WELL." A feminine voice from the hallway resounded. "If you two are done talking I'd like to go back and clean the house from the fight. I'll send the bill on the broken furniture as soon as I'm done with that."

Fon signed. He wasn't surprised he'd need to pay for Kyoya's destructive nature. Still the nagging feeling of wanting to know who he fought was still there.

"Who did you fight Kyoya?"

The nine year old huffed but didn't answer. His pride was a bit hurt what Fon could deduce. PAtiently Fon waited for several minutes before the young boy muttered out something.

"An Omnivore…"

Huh. Fon thought. That was a title he'd never heard Kyoya give anyone in the past. From the meaning behind it Kyoya's opponent may be looking like what Kyoya would call a "herbivore" but fight like a "carnivore". It was an interesting thought and Fon gave a small amused smile. He knew Kawahira and Haru probably wouldn't want them to be known in case it was one of their clients. Even if Fon's interest sparked quite a bit. It was better to let it go for now.

"Alright then. I guess we're done here." Fon gave a formal bow before moving towards his home with a reluctant Kyoya in tow.

Haru dramatically threw her hands in the air and stomped into the house. The white-haired man winced slightly at what was to come from this. Haru was angry enough about the damages inside the house and no matter Kawahira's careful placement of mist flames he wouldn't not be able to hide the total destruction of her garden flowers for very long.

He remained at the entrance for a bit, glaring down on his cold coffee.

At least he hadn't promised anything to be intact after she left for bed in the morning.

"Tell me again, Tsuna. Why. Are. My. Flowers. Burnt. To. Crisps?"

Haru's smile was strained. Her hands were currently crushing Tsuna's shoulders for a few seconds as the young mafia boss tried to keep his eyes locked on the floor.

"I'm very sorry, Haru. I didn't mean-"

"You may want to give the kid a break, woman." Shamal glared from a safe distance away from the brunette. "Wasn't he the one attacked?"

"Oh, yes. Definitely!" Haru shot a glare at the doctor. "I'm sure after the damage inside the house wasn't enough to make me… displeased. There's a little bit of a problem when it comes to my flowers, Shamal. You see I don't really see while they already had… demolished the living room they had to continue their destruction outside to the point of my greenhouse. I mean, there is plenty of space around the garden. You know plenty of space to be seen by civilians in case you wouldn't have a mist user keeping it out of sight, no?"

"I believe it was Kyoya that threw the first tonfa into the house right?" Kawahira drawled from somewhere behind Tsuna.

"I- well... " Tsuna started feeling guilt building up. "It wasn't really Kyoya's fault for Natsu to accidently setting the flowers on fire. I should've kept a better eye out… I was a bit lost in the fight there."

Haru's smile shifted to a frown before glaring down at the lion cub at Tsuna's feet. Natsu mewed softly before hiding behind Tsuna's legs to avoid the eye contact to the infuriated woman. For a few moments Haru said nothing before sighing and releasing her hold on Tsuna and softening out her features. "I… guess I'll overlook it THIS time. Just don't make a habit out of it. You've been warned young man."

Tsuna nervously chuckled. "I'll definitely consider that warning."

"About that… lion, Tsuna."

Tsuna moved his head to look at Kawahira.

"Care to explain how you got around to keep a box weapon without a… well, box?"

Tsuna's shoulders slumped. Oh boy… This was going to be another long session of explanations. He was already plenty tired from waking up so early in the morning.

I'm getting lazy without Reborn around… ain't I.

A/N: E-eheheheh. Look what I found on my drive laying around since February… Not too much happening here. Just a little filler-y before I can kick off something else.

I'm sorry guys I took so long to get something so short like this chapter. At least I'm updating in less than a year, no? :'D

It's a curse I tell you. A curse.
