The next morning, the Doctor was ready to leave. He had packed up his things and started walking down to the lake, hoping not to be seen by anyone.

"Doctor!" he heard someone call from behind him. Turning around, he saw Harry running towards him.

"Harry, I don't want to talk." The Doctor said, continuing to walk.

"Where are you going?" Harry asked, catching up with him.

"I don't know, but I doubt I'll be coming back."

"You have to!" Harry said. "We've all really gotten used to you. Please, stay!"

"Look, I can't! You'll do better without me. It was great being here, obviously before Chloe…you know. But I already told Dumbledore, and I'm ready to leave." He reached the TARDIS next to the lake. He turned to Harry. "Tell the others I said goodbye, will you. Have a good one, Harry. Bye."

The Doctor went into his TARDIS and it disappeared.

"So, he just said 'goodbye' and left?" Hermione asked, in the common room later that day.

"Yeah." Harry replied.

"Will he be back?" Ron asked.

"I don't know, but I doubt it." Harry said.

"Well, it was nice having him around. He was a bit weird, but I guess it's for the best." Ron said.

"Well, we need to revise, we have an exam next week." Hermione said, getting up. Harry and Ron also got up, and looked out the window. Flying around in the sky was a small blue box.

Sorry it's so short and rubbish. I'm writing another Doctor Who fic, and I wanted to finish this before posting the next one. This is the last chapter, so it's now finished. Again, apologies for the terrible ending, but hopefully my next fic will make up for it. :)
