Annie and Liam's House:

"Do we really have to go?" muttered Liam, stuffing his suitcase lazily as Annie stuffed her head in their closet. "I have a really bad feeling about this."

"Well I have a great feeling about this trip!" defended Annie, rummaging through her dresses.

"How about we do a coin flip?" suggested Liam, reaching for his pockets. "Coin flips are always a good idea."

"It's for Naomi and Max!" Annie retorted, flying clothes above her head. "We have to go!" She struggled to reach for a suitcase.

"But we already have beaches here," added Liam, pouting his lips. "And the beaches in California are way better than the ones in Miami."

"Liam," Annie began, turning around. "We're going to be lucky if we even see the ocean this weekend." Liam shot her a confused look. "Naomi said this was more of a business venture for her and Max and she would just appreciate it if her friends were there for support." Liam forced a smile. "We're their friends and we're going to support them."

"I can cheer them on from this side of the country," Liam explained.

"I love your enthusiasm, Liam," Annie chuckled. "...but we're going. That's final." Liam playfully rolled his eyes. "And if you're so against it, I'd like to see you tell Naomi that you're not going."

"You're right. I just don't want to leave my shop unattended..." added Liam, smiling at the thought of finding an excuse. "Who's gonna support me?" He tried to cover his sly smile.

"Old Salty already agreed to it, remember?" answered Annie with a smile. "Don't be so down." She caressed his face. "Naomi mentioned that there are going to be plenty of investors at this convention this weekend. This could be an opportunity for you to expand your network."

"Sounds boring," Liam murmured, wrapping his arms around Annie's petite waist.

"It actually does," laughed Annie. "But it won't be so hilarious when someone actually takes an interest in you." Liam laughed. "And then you're going to have to thank me for forcing you to go on this trip."

"You're the only one I'm concerned about being interested in me," whispered Liam, pulling her closer to him. He kissed her smoothly. "How am I doing so far?"

"You're doing just fine," she whispered back sensually.

Naomi's Mansion:

"I really do appreciate you even considering this business partnership," said Charles excitedly, firmly shaking Max's hand. "I can't wait for you to meet him."

"Neither can I, Mr. Clark," Max replied, taking his hand back.

"You'll love him!" added Charles with a big smile. "Really simple guy. He's a rich fellow and he's really looking to invest in some new land down in Miami." Max followed Charles into the open living room. "I would have arranged a meeting here but he's been moving around so much I can barely sneak in a phone call."

"Well I'm glad we can finally meet," added Max. "I'm really interested in this land investment. My company has never done anything like this before."

"That's good to hear," said Charles. "He really needs all the blessings he can get right now."

"What do you mean?" asked Max.

"Him and his wife recently divorced," muttered Charles. "She kept the house." Charles heaved a deep sigh. "It was really unfortunate though that his wife divorced him - she took most of his money." Max scrunched his eyebrows.

"So he's broke?" asked Max.

"No! No!" Charles chuckled. "He still has plenty of money - he's just looking to invest it on something more important than a woman." Charles burst into laughter again, followed by a nervous chuckle from Max. "I mean, you know how it is when you get divorced..." He nudged Max. "Hell, I did."

"Of course," added Max. "Divorcing sucks."

"Exactly," said Charles. "But when you lose a woman, you buy land...and make money from it!"

"Sounds...sane," muttered Max. Charles and Max exchanged grins.

"What are we talking about?" asked Naomi, who appeared behind them.

"Just guy stuff, darling," answered Charles. Naomi thinned her eyes. "Nothing you would be interested about." Charles winked at Max.

"Okay then, the cab is outside, the private jet is waiting, and my bags are ready to be carried down," added Naomi. "Everyone is going to meet us there so let's not keep them waiting."

Dixon's Studio:

"Are you sure you don't want me to go?" asked Silver, combing her hair back behind her ear.

"I'm positive," Dixon replied, planting a kiss on her forehead. "The doctor said you need to be resting. Taking it easy." Silver grunted. "I'm sorry babe, but I can't risk anything happening to you or the baby with you flying back and forth from New York to Wyoming to Beverly Hills and now Miami. I don't think so."

"But who's going to be eating the breakfast I make for you while you're gone?" said Silver slowly.

"No one but you," responded Dixon with a smile. "Because I'm not going to be in the studio this weekend. And you're going to be at home, trying to figure out what you're going to do for your next film project."

"Ugh," spat Silver. "I'm so frustrated with this film project. I can't come up with any ideas!"

"You're mind is full of ideas," added Dixon. "Don't worry, it will come to you." Dixon took a deep breath while Silver nodded her head. "Hopefully, I'll have the same luck when I get to Miami."

"You will," reassured Silver. "Miami is a hot destination for music producers. You will meet someone."

"Thanks, babe," muttered Dixon. "Make sure you call me when you get home and make sure you don't do anything reckless...okay?"

"I love that you're being so overprotective of me," whispered Silver happily, caressing Dixon's soft face. "I'm going to miss that when I move to New York."

"Well it's a good thing I'll be visiting you and our baby frequently," added Dixon, placing his hand on her stomach.

"I love you so much," whispered Silver.

"I love you, too," muttered Dixon.

"Now go to Miami and bring home some good bacon," Silver chuckled, feeding him the bacon from his plate.

Naomi's Private Jet:

"Everyone raise your glasses!" sang Naomi, standing by Max. "...to this man and my father."

"Naomi," muttered Max. "You don't have to."

"For what?" spat Navid. Dixon burst into laughter. Annie stared him down. "What? I thought this was a free trip to Miami..."

"For the potential partnership, Navid," hissed Naomi.

"Yeah, Navid," Liam muttered. "Didn't you read the email?" Liam rolled his eyes. "Or the texts...?"

"Liam," whispered Annie, reaching for his hand.

"Anyways," interjected Naomi. "We're all here now. And this trip is going to super amazing because it's for my man." She hoisted her glass. "To Max!"

"To Max!" cried everyone in unison.

"Here, give this to me," said Navid, clutching Dixon's drink. "You're not supposed to be drinking." Dixon rolled his eyes and slouched in his seat.

Adrianna's Tour Bus:

"No thank you," muttered Adrianna, refusing a beer. "I don't drink."

"Are you sure?" asked her bandmate. "Another successful night tonight, you deserve this beer."

"She's sure," said Andy from behind, handing her a glass of water. "Leave her alone, Matty." Andy took a seat across from Adrianna.

"Thanks," said Adrianna, placing the glass on the table.

"Listen," whispered Andy. "I want to talk about what happened between us in New York..."

"Andy," Adrianna began. "That was an accident -"

"Just hear me out," Andy interjected, reaching for her hands. "I like you. A lot." Adrianna shut her eyes. "And I don't think I can stop liking you. That kiss was not an accident."

"Andy," said Adrianna. "I'm flattered." Andy smiled sweetly.

"I like you -" Andy began.

"But it was wrong," whispered Adrianna, reeling in her hands. "That kiss was a mistake."

"I don't understand," said Andy. "What have we been doing this entire time? I opened up to you, Ade. I shared intimate things with you -"

"I'm with Navid," explained Adrianna. "I'm in love with Navid. Nothing is going to change that." Andy hung his head. "I hope you can understand that. That does not mean we can't be friends." She gazed on. "When we end this tour, I'm coming back to him."

"Umm..I'm gonna go rest my head," said Andy slowly.

"Andy wait," called Adrianna. He quickly shot up from his seat and dragged his feet down the bus.

Offshore:

Silver swung around the bar as she took the seat next to Ivy.

"Aren't you supposed to be in bed?" asked Ivy.

"Aren't you supposed to be in Mexico?" asked Silver. Ivy thinned her eyes.

"Got it," muttered Ivy. "No more questions."

"Yes, no more questions," added Silver.

"Fine," said Ivy. "But if Dixon finds out that I'm hanging out with his pregnant girlfriend at a bar -"

"He won't," Silver interjected. "He's in Miami."

"And what are you doing here?" added Ivy carefully.

"I'm trying to find some inspiration for a new film project," explained Silver. "I am not gonna find that resting in bed." Ivy chuckled. "Do you have anything for me?"

"Hmm," muttered Ivy. "You're asking a girl who spends most of her days in the ocean...trying to find the next wave. The next excitement in her life." Silver looked at her. "I've got nothing."

"You've got everything," whispered Silver. "You have heart."

"So do you, Silver," said Ivy. "You're carrying it." Silver smiled back at her.

Miami, FL:

"Why are you so high strung about this trip?" asked Annie, following Naomi to the elevator. "You're acting like me."

"I know, it's horrible," complained Naomi. "I just want everything to be perfect for Max and my father."

"It's already perfect, Naomi," explained Annie.

"How?" asked Naomi.

"The man you love and your father are with you," said Annie. "And your friends are here, too." She reached for Naomi's hand. "Everything is going to be just fine."

"I know it's going to be just fine," said Naomi. "It's just the last time I tried helping Max with his company, I screwed everything up. The last time my father and I had a real conversation, I was trying to fix their marriage. I don't want to be a screw up. I don't want anything to get screwed up."

"You're going to be fine," said Annie. "You're not going to screw anything up."

"I just want the best for them," explained Naomi. "They've gone through so much and it would be nice to get an ending that does not end in divorce."

"Happy thoughts, Naomi," said Annie. "We're all going to get a happy ending."

The elevator door slid open and a man appeared behind a splitting crowd. Annie and Naomi's jaws dropped their feet as this man stepped in the elevator. It was as if someone had vacuumed the air out of the small compacted space. Naomi carefully licked her lips as Annie held her breath.

"I'm not even surprised anymore," the man whispered behind Annie. Annie gulped. "Are we meant to do this forever?"

Patrick Westhill stepped around Annie as soon as the elevator stopped.

"It's good to see you," he whispered. He reached for his checkbook and scribbled on it. Annie looked on. "Here's five thousand dollars." He threw it at her face. "For looking nice."

"You pig," hissed Naomi. Annie held her back.

"Drop a button and I'll drop five grand," whispered Patrick, carefully leaving the elevator.

"Oh my God," whispered Annie.

"Annie," murmured Naomi. "Are you okay?"

"Everything is going to be just fine," muttered Annie. The elevator doors shut slowly.

Silver's Apartment:

"What do you need me here for?" asked Ivy.

"You're the one who gave me the idea," said Silver, propping up her camera.

"The idea for what?" asked Ivy.

"For my next film project," answered Silver, placing her hand over her stomach. "I'm going to do a video diary for my baby."

Miami, FL.

"Liam!" called Annie from across the room. "I've been looking for you everywhere! Why didn't you pick up your phone?"

"Because I was talking to Ricky Hill," explained Liam with a smile. "I'm sorry, is everything okay?"

"Ricky Hill?" asked Annie.

"Yeah, Ivy knew him from Brazil," said Liam. "She referred me to him and his interested in expanding the shop to more places in South America." Annie smiled shortly. "Isn't this great news?!" Liam embraced her.

"It is," whispered Annie. "Great news."

"I'm so glad you forced me to go on this trip," Liam said gleefully. "You were right. This trip is going to be amazing." Annie nervously smiled. "Was there something you wanted to say?"

"Umm," whispered Annie. "Nothing. It was nothing."

"Are you sure?" asked Liam.

"Yeah, I thought I left my bag on the jet," laughed Annie. "Nothing important."

"You would think this convention would at least have one music producer roaming around this stupid hotel," gritted Dixon.

"Dixon," muttered Navid, double-fisting at the event. "I don't think these people care about music."

"Unless the music is making them money," added Dixon.

"I don't think these investors are the kinds you're looking for, Dix," said Navid, taking another sip.

"Thanks for the support, bro," muttered Dixon.

"I'm just being real," laughed Navid. "Here..." Navid reached for a glass. "Have a drink. You need to relax."

"I don't drink, Navid," muttered Dixon.

"Oh yeah," said Navid, chugging down the glass. "Anyways...what's wrong with the studio right now that has you going all the way to Miami?"

"Nothing," answered Dixon. "Nothing's wrong with the studio. Ade's new album is coming along. The producers we have now are very open and dope to work with."

"Then why are you acting like your sister?" asked Navid.

"I am not Annie," defended Dixon. "I'm just - just..." Navid looked on. "I'm just trying to keep busy. Trying to keep this momentum going."

"The momentum is good," added Navid.

"I - I don't always have the best of luck with life," explained Dixon. "And now that I have a kid on the way and a promising career...I don't want to waste any time."

"Dude you have it all," said Navid. "You have it all."

"I just want to make sure I still have it by tomorrow, or next week, or the next month," explained Dixon. "I'm just worried that all this hard work and this family I'm building with Silver is all for nothing."

"Dix," said Navid slowly. "I know I'm tipsy but I hear you." He grabbed Dixon's face. "...and I wanna tell you something."

"What is it?" asked Dixon, looking around.

"We waste so many days waiting for the weekend," Navid began, sipping on his drink. "So many nights wanting morning. Our lust for future comfort is the biggest thief of life." Dixon scrunched his eyebrows. "Don't be so worried about the future. You have it all."

Adrianna's Tour Bus:

"You have it all," Andy quietly said to Adrianna.

"You have no idea what you're talking about," said Adrianna, resting her head on her hand.

"I think I do," said Andy. "You have Navid. You have a career. You have your money. You have your rich friends. You have a fabulous life in Beverly Hills -"

"I would stop there if I were you," muttered Adrianna.

"Can't handle the truth, Ade?" said Andy.

"I don't have it all. You obviously don't know anything about me," spat Adrianna.

"You don't have it all because you don't have me," said Andy.

"Ugh," spat Adrianna. "Unbelievable."

"It is unbelievable," said Andy aggressively. "That you would still choose to stay with Navid after all this time -"

"I'm gonna stop you there," Adrianna interjected. "I choose to stay with Navid because he was willing to marry me when I was pregnant with another guy's baby. I choose to stay with Navid because he believed in me when the whole world had its back turned on me. I choose to stay with Navid because he believes in my music and supports me. I choose to stay with Navid because I love him."

"So what, you guys have history," said Andy. "But I can give you a future."

"You don't get it, Andy," muttered Adrianna. "You can't give me a future because you're not Navid."

Miami, FL.

"So all these boards are custom made?" asked Ricky to Liam.

"They are," answered Liam, showing Ricky photos from his phone. "I make them in my shop in Beverly Hills."

"Ivy showed me her board when I ran into her in Mexico and I fell in love with it," added Ricky. "If you don't mind, I'd like to set up an appointment the next time I'm in Beverly Hills."

"Of course," said Liam.

"Liam, you don't understand how great this is," said Ricky. "So many people are looking for great custom made boards in South America." Liam smiled excitedly. "You are going to make so much bacon." Liam laughed.

Silver's Apartment:

"Do you want some bacon?" asked Silver to Ivy.

"What?" laughed Ivy.

"I usually make them for Dixon," explained Silver. "But he's in Miami -"

"I'll take it all," laughed Ivy, grabbing the plate from Silver's hands. "So what are you going to say on this video?"

"I don't really know," muttered Silver, pacing around her room. "I feel like I need to make a video that is going to make an impact on people. To change them. To affect their lives. I just don't know where to begin."

"Well for starters," Ivy began. "...How has your baby changed you so far?"

"I love more," answered Silver. "It's easier to love."

"Love is a universal language," added Ivy. "Start there."

"I just want my baby to know that I love her," answered Silver. "I want her to know that there are others who love her..."

"Her?" said Ivy with a smile. "You're going to have a baby girl? When did you find out?"

"Yeah," said Silver. "A couple of days ago. Umm...I'm going to have a baby girl."

"She's going to be beautiful," said Ivy.

"...Growing up," Silver began. "My mom and I never had a close bond." She tucked her hair behind her ear. "I never had a relationship with my mom like you do with yours. It was only when her cancer kept growing that we started forming a relationship." Ivy gazed on. "I just want things to be different for her."

"What kind of different?" asked Ivy.

"I want her to know love early on," said Silver. "From her parents and from her friends."

Miami, FL.

Naomi slammed her hotel door behind her and clutched her stomach.

"Are you alright, Naomi?" asked Max. "You look like you've just seen a ghost."

"You can say that," answered Naomi. She quickly picked herself up. "But nothing you have to worry about." She caressed his face. "How was your meeting? Did you meet him?"

"He's in the bathroom," said Charles, appearing from the next room. "He just got here."

"Okay," Naomi began excitedly. "You're going to do great! You are going to be great." Max smiled. "Remember, he wants you. You don't beg for this partnership."

The door opened from behind and Patrick slowly emerged from behind the door.

"Patrick!" greeted Charles. Naomi and Max stood in shock. "I want you to meet Max and my daughter Naomi." Charles quickly led Patrick towards Max and Naomi.

"What," muttered Naomi.

"Hi," greeted Patrick, carefully reaching out to Max. "Patrick Westhill. Nice to meet you." Max nervously shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you," muttered Max. Max looked at Naomi.

"Naomi," whispered Charles. "Where are your manners?"

"Oh, I'm sorry," said Naomi, pursing her lips. She suddenly whipped her hand across Patrick's face, leaving a red mark. "Where are my manners?"

"Naomi!" yelled Charles, comforting Patrick. "What the hell are you doing?"

"What the hell am I doing?" shrieked Naomi. "What the hell are you doing, dad?!" Charles looked confused. "Do you know who this man is?"

"Yes, I do," said Charles. "He's the potential partner, I hope, and my friend."

"Charles," Max began, shaking his head.

"I can see I'm not welcomed here," said Patrick. "I'll see my way out."

"Patrick," said Charles. "Wait a minute."

"Get the hell out," hissed Naomi. "Now."

000

Naomi and Charles moved into the dining room.

"Dad," Naomi began. "What the hell?"

"Naomi, I didn't know," explained Charles. "Patrick's a dear friend of mine. He's a buddy."

"Well did you know that your buddy singlehandedly ruined my friend's life," Naomi spat. "He's no good. He's evil."

"What are you talking about, honey?" asked Charles.

"I don't want to get into it, dad, I really don't," explained Naomi frustratedly. "He's a bad guy, dad. A really really bad guy...and I don't think it's a good idea if Max partners with this man. This monster."

"I can't stop you from feeling what you feel," said Charles. "But this monster is going to help Max's company grow in profit. Give him that chance to prove it."

"Dad," Naomi began.

"Naomi, please," said Charles. "I don't understand this personal vendetta against Patrick, but please do this for me..." Charles breathed slowly. "I'm trying to turn my life around. I'm trying to get my life together and Patrick has been helping me."

"Get other friends, dad," said Naomi. "Patrick is literally the -"

"...only person who has been there for me," added Charles. "Please go and talk to him. Find some common ground." Max emerged from the other room.

"Guys," said Max slowly. "Charles...thank you for bringing us here but -"

"Max," Naomi interrupted. "I'm going to go and talk to Patrick."

"But Annie," said Max.

"Annie?" muttered Charles.

"Don't worry about it," said Naomi. "I'm going to give Patrick another chance." Max looked perplexed. "I know what I'm doing, trust me."

000

Annie quickly pulled Dixon and Navid from the bar to a corner.

"Annie, what's wrong?" asked Dixon.

"Yeah?" added Navid.

"First of all," said Annie, placing her hands on her hips. "What are you two doing at the bar?"

"Babysitting this fool," answered Dixon. "Man, put your drink down!"

"I think I'm going to empty that bar out," Navid chuckled. Dixon shook his head.

"Are you okay?" asked Dixon. Annie carefully searched the room.

"Patrick is here," whispered Annie. Navid almost choked on his drink as Dixon was taken aback. "He's here for this stupid convention and and and Naomi and I ran into him in the elevator."

"Did he touch you?" asked Dixon aggressively. "Did he do anything?"

"I'm fine," said Annie. "He didn't do anything."

"Annie," Navid began. "You need to call the cops."

"We already did, remember?" said Annie. "The cops can't arrest him without proof." Dixon clenched his fists. "They can bring him in - but he's going to get out and come after me again..."

"Did you tell Liam?" asked Dixon.

"No," answered Annie. "And he can't find out."

"Where is he?" asked Navid, putting his drinks down.

"He's talking to this guy who's interested in his shop," answered Annie. "This is the first good thing that's happened to Liam and I don't want to mess that up for him." Annie sighed. "If I told him Patrick was here, he'd want to take me back to Beverly Hills."

"This is ridiculous," muttered Navid.

"I'm just going to stay clear from him until this weekend is over," said Annie.

"Don't worry," added Dixon. "We have your back."

"You shouldn't have to live in fear," added Navid. "This is not fair."

"He's never going to disappear from my life, is he?" said Annie.

"Come here," whispered Dixon, wrapping his arms around Annie.

Silver's Apartment:

Silver sat in front of the camera as she placed her hand on her stomach.

"Ready?" asked Ivy.

"Yeah," answered Silver.

"Three," began Ivy. "Two...one." Ivy pressed the recording button.

"Hi baby girl," began Silver, staring at the camera. "I'm Erin Silver. And I'm your mommy..."

Adrianna's Tour:

A roar of cheers and chants from the entire stadium echoed throughout the vicinity as Adrianna Tate-Duncan took the stage for her final song.

"I hope you all are having a great night tonight!" said Adrianna sweetly. "I know I am." The crowd roared once more. "This tour has been everything. And I thank you all for giving me the opportunity to share with you my music." Adrianna smiled sweetly. "This last song is dedicated to my significant other, Navid Shirazi."

Andy hung his head.

"This song is for you, Navid," said Adrianna. "For loving me unconditionally."

Miami, FL.

Naomi carefully opened the door and found Patrick standing on the other side. His grin was as bright as the sun.

"You can come in," whispered Naomi.

"Thank you," Patrick responded, fixing his tie. His eyes wandered around the room. "You know, I was a little surprised to get a message from you."

"I was surprised that I sent it," Naomi retorted.

"Charles?" asked Patrick. "Max? Where are they?" Naomi glided across the room.

"They're at the bar," answered Naomi. "My guess is that they're still recovering from finding out the truth about you."

"The truth about me?" repeated Patrick, chuckling. "And what would that be, Naomi?"

"That you're a pimp, for starters," Naomi scoffed. "That you planted cocaine into my brother's bag in New York which got him arrested by the way." Patrick chuckled.

"That was a good one," laughed Patrick.

"Was it?" hissed Naomi. "Was it as good as blowing up Dixon's beach house?" Patrick laughed harder. "Or continuing to make threats at Annie and her family? Or verbally sexually harassing her by throwing checks on her face?"

"She ruined my life," spat Patrick. "I'm just returning the favor. So what if I did all those things. I can do worse."

There was a thin silence between them.

"That's the thing," added Naomi. "I don't want you ruining my boyfriend's life. Because you will not only be hurting him, and my father who you call 'friend' - but you will be messing with me."

"So what the hell are we doing here?" asked Patrick.

"Well my father asked me to make peace with you," explained Naomi. "...Because he truly believes that you can help my Max with his company."

"He's right," added Patrick. "I have so much money that I probably could buy you."

"Shut up," snapped Naomi. Patrick playfully put his hands up. "My father thinks you hold some kind of godly skill that could help make profit for Max's company." Patrick nodded his head.

"It's called money," answered Patrick.

"I have money," said Naomi. "So why does he need you?"

"Because I can invest well," added Patrick.

"So can I," said Naomi.

"Yeah, you invest well in men," laughed Patrick. "This is a business for men, honey. Don't hurt yourself."

"I can't stand you," whispered Naomi.

"Are you here to make some personal profit?" whispered Patrick sensually. Naomi took a step back. "I won't tell. I promise."

"You're disgusting," spat Naomi. "And this is why I will not make peace with you or allow you to work with Max or my father. How dare you think that after all the things you have done to my family, yes Annie is my sister, and friends that you could sneak your way into a partnership that you will only corrupt. I am tired of people taking advantage of my friends and family."

"I will find a way to get Charles to sign a contract," threatened Patrick. "And then after making money from him and you...I'm going to destroy your life...just like I did with Annie's."

"Is that a threat?" asked Naomi.

"Are you done?" spat Patrick with a grin.

"I am," said Annie slowly, emerging from the other room. Naomi folded her arms across her chest.

"What the hell is this?" asked Patrick.

"I just sent this entire conversation to my lawyers," hissed Annie, putting her phone away. "It's over, Patrick."

"You bitch," gritted Patrick. He made advances towards Annie.

"I'd back up if I were you," said Dixon, stepping out from the other room. Navid and Max stood behind him. "Don't you dare touch my sister."

Liam opened the door with security behind him.

"What the hell is going on here?" asked Patrick.

"You're life is so over," hissed Naomi.

"We're closing the book on this story," said Liam. "Forever."

"Forever," muttered Annie.
