(A/N) I wrote this story because I'm sick of being teased about not being able to spell and I know that I'm not the only one who is challenged with spelling and I think it would be better if all the people who have trouble with spelling know that their not alone and I think Mikey can be someone that we can all think about and know that where not alone. In other news earlier today I graduated Middle School so I'm in High School now but its summer so I'm going to get a lot of writing done. Okay so in this one-shot there is a major Phineas and Ferb reference to the episode 'Der Kinderlumper'. READ ON!
The lair was quiet. Well sort of. Leo was watching Space Adventures his favorite T.V. show which is obviously based off Star Trek. Raph was sleeping upside-down on the couch. Donnie sat next to him right side up and on his laptop. Mikey was sitting in the tire swing reading a comic book.
Leo's show ends and he stands up "We should go to bed" said Leo.
"I think Raph beat you to it" said Mikey looking up from his comic book.
"That position isn't good for his neck or his blood flow to his brain" said Donnie closing his lap top and standing up.
"We should move him" said Leo taking a step towards his younger brother.
"Touch me and you will start a sibling rivalry" said Raph then flipped over to couch and walks to his room half asleep.
"He has bad come backs when he's tired" said Mikey magically appearing behind his two brothers.
"I kind of like it" said Donnie.
"Say that again and I will kick you out of your shell Dorkatello" said Raph from his room.
"Good night to you too" said Donnie walking to his room.
"Good night Mikey" said Leo going to his room.
"Good night Leo" said Mikey going to his.
In the morning
Mikey was sitting on the floor watching some cartoon. Donnie sat beside him looking completely board. Leo and Raph where having a heated argument and rolling around on the floor. April was sitting on the couch working on the computer.
"Donnie?" asked Mikey suddenly.
"Yes Mikey?" asked Donnie happy to do something besides watch the boring cartoon.
"How do you spell rutabaga?" asked Mikey tilting his head to the side in curiosity.
Donnie looks at April who looks up from her computer at him shrugs then back. Donnie looks confused at Mikey.
"Rutabaga R-U-T-A-B-A-G-A" recited Donnie
"Okay" said Mikey looking back at the T.V.
April and Donnie exchange another confused glance.
Sometime later
"April" said Mikey suddenly.
"Yeah" responded April looking at Mikey closing her laptop.
"How do you spell chinchilla?" asked Mikey curiously.
"Chinchilla?" April asked Mikey who nods.
"Chinchilla C-H-I-N-C-H-I-L-L-A" April recited.
"So the word chinchilla is longer than the word rutabaga?" asked Mikey.
April and Donnie look at each other than say 'yes' in unison.
Leo and Raph had stopped fighting and where now giving Mikey a weird look.
