And here it is: The last chapter and the end of this fanfiction :).
I had a lot of fun writing this story and i want to thank all followers and review-writers again.

Epilogue

Heavy footsteps echoed through the aisles of the Nemesis.

His optics flashed in a deep red and he had a mischievous grin on his lips as he turned his head to the side and looked at the bot right next to him.

"Let's see how much of him is left, right Shockwave?"

"Do you really think that he killed him? We have heard nothing and Starscream would have fought back if he had attacked him."

"Starscream didn't stand a chance against such a beast. He died quickly... "

"I can understand that you are angry, but to leave Starscream to such a cruel death...isn't this a bit too hard, my Lord?"

"You seem to forget what Starscream did to me all the millennia in which he has served under my hand. Too often he has tried to kill me. What he has received, he has fully deserved!"

Shockwave preferred to remain silent and continued to follow his master.

The Decepticon Leader now put his hand on the switch that would open the huge hangar door of the Nemesis.

"Ready?"

Shockwave nodded silently and Megatron opened the door and stepped out into the darkness.

His grin widened as he could see Predaking who was curled up in the middle of the Hangar and seemed to be dozing. Starscream was nowhere to be seen.

"Look at him Shockwave. The battle seems to have weakened him. Look how calm he slumbers. Starscream have seemed to be a tough one."

Shockwave was silent and his optic widened when she spotted something.

He had to look twice to make sure that his optic had not a malfunction and when he was sure that he was not dreaming, or imagining it, he tapped Megatron's shoulder gently.

"I wouldn't be so sure my Lord..." he murmured softly.

"What do you mean?"

"Look more closely and then you know what I mean."

Megatron raised his brow and he approached the dragon quietly and slowly, careful not to wake the beast.

When he was close enough he could see what Shockwave wanted to show him and his jaw dropped.

There, in the cross arms of the Predacon, was Starscream.

He had laid his head on one of the arms of the mighty dragon and slept calmly and with a satisfied smile on his lips.

Predaking had laid his head on his paws and hid the Seeker before any other bots.

Yet Shockwave and Megatron could now clearly see it and both of them weren't so sure anymore if they dreamed or were wide awake.

"Well, that punishment backfired..."

Shockwave's amused words were the last thing Megatron could hear before his optics rolled back and he fell to the ground unconscious...
