I am so sorry about the long wait between the 9th and 10th chapter, I had to put the story on Hiatus and didn't have time to tell you guys. Here is the next chapter.

Though Guys, let me know if you would rather shorter entries more often or longer entries less often. Let me know and I'll do my best.

-This Is A Line Break-

"I found a blond man from the future." Ezio and Desmond jerked to their feet at Ree's words. The raven-haired young man raised his hand and looked between the two. His eyes were begging for patience, which the two grudgingly allowed.

"He's an alpha, my alpha." Ree closed his eyes and tensed, prepared for whatever might come.

-This Is A Line Break-

Ree stood there for several moments, his eyes closed, just listening to the noise his father was exuding. He started to shake, tears building behind his eyelids. His father surely wouldn't want him now.

A pair of arms wrapped around him, startling him from his thoughts. He opened his eyes and allowed himself to look at the person holding him. Ezio stood before him, squishing Ree into his breastplate. Tears were in his eyes as well.

"My little boy found his mate. Oh, he better have good manners and ask to court you before doing anything else." Ree felt a few tears streak down his face as he let out the breath he didn't know he'd been holding. "Baby? What's wrong?"

"I thought…" Ree didn't finish his sentence, instead shaking his head and smiling at his alpha father.

"It's alright, Teroso. We love you, no matter who this alpha is." Ezio pulled his son tighter to his chest and shared a look over Ree's head. Even after 11 years, he still fell back into old habits.

Ree pulled out of his fathers' arms and smiled at the two before grabbing each of their hands and leading them away from their room. They followed him, sharing glances with Claudia and Valeria as they went. They approached a room not too far from Ree's own and glanced at each other before Claudia pulled a key from her pocket and moved to unlock the door.

As the door swung open, they all tensed, ready for anything.

-This Is A Line Break-

Draco Malfoy stared at the wall in front of him. He was stunned at the selfless actions of the assassin that had saved him. HE had always been told that assassin's only cared about themselves and no one else. That one would save him from a group of Templars blew his mind. Taking a breath, he tore his sliver eyes away from the wall and looked around the room he was being healed in. The young Assassin had risked himself to bring him somewhere he could heal. And now he was in what he guessed was an Assassin base. Even not knowing whom the Assassin was, he hoped that he was ok. He'd heard stories from his parents of how cruel the Assassins could be, even to their own.

The lock turning in the door brought Draco's eyes from where he'd stuck them after looking around the infirmary. The door swung open and a group of five people entered. The first was a tall beta woman with her hand clasped in another beta woman's hand. They were both pretty but, judging by the matching rings and cuffs, they had been mated for a while.

The next pair in was another pair of mates. This time one was an omega and one an alpha. The omega, Draco knew instantly. Desmond Miles, subject 17, the most wanted man in 2012. Abstergo had lost track of him after the Assassin's had rescued him. How he had gotten to renaissance Italy was a mystery.

Finally, Draco brought his eyes to the last member of the group. The small Assassin that had brought him here was bringing up the rear, shoulders tense and face shadowed by his hood.

Draco looked between them all and tensed, preparing for the worst.

"So you are the man my son brought home." The alpha spoke, taking a step forward. His voice was deep and made Draco want to take a step back. His inner alpha growled.

"I thank you for your kindness…" Draco's words were cut off suddenly.

"My question is, why did my son save a Templar?" The small Assassin and Draco both froze. The small Assassin turned to Desmond and whined slightly. The small sound made Draco's eyes widen in realization. The smallest of the Assassins was an omega.

"Father, I didn't know!" the voice coming from the small man, for the voice was definitely male. "The Templars had him, thought he was one of use and…"

The omega stopped talking as the Alpha held up a hand, asking for silence.

"I believe, Ree, I asked him." The Alpha's voice wasn't harsh as he spoke to the omega but the glare he leveled at Draco was.

"Ezio, let's let the young man explain. I want to hear this story before we disregard him completely." Desmond's voice was soft and the man laid a hand on the alpha's, Ezio, arm, calming him. The Alpha nodded and sat on a bed across from Draco's, watching the blond, waiting for him to speak.

Draco swallowed and nodded to the older alpha before taking a breath.

"I arrived in the this time three days ago, from the year 2012. And yes, my family are Templars." He paused, taking another breath before continuing. " My father follows the Grandmaster of the Templar order, Voldemort. He has been searching for an Assassin child whose father had caused a lot of trouble for him almost 16 years before. He lost track of the child when he was 6 or 7 years old. When Vidic came to him with a similar quest, they teamed up."

Draco stopped when he saw the faces around him darken. He took another breath and then plowed on.

"My family has been Templars for 8 generations, my father was always very proud of that fact. He hammered into me that it was always a good idea to follow the Templars and continue the Malfoy wealth, while siding with Assassins would only lead to greed and ruin. Templars are always warned about the greed and cruelty that the Assassin's show, especially toward each other.

"I didn't know better than what they taught me, until I met an Assassin for myself. I thought the girl was the exception instead of the rule. When my parents held her captive, I let her go. She was so much nicer than anyone I'd ever met. It was after she got away that my mother took me aside and talked to me about leaving my father. I was 9. From there I trained to be as strong as possible. My mother had her cousin, an Assassin; teach me everything he could about being an Assassin. When I grew older, Voldemort came to my father with a proposition. He had found a POE and needed someone to test it. He wanted to test me, see if I was worthy of becoming a full-blown Templar. I didn't like the idea, but they forced me to hunt down an Assassin to test the POE and if I couldn't catch one, they would test it on me. I pretended to catch one and that she escaped me and was brought to a room with a large alter.

"My father gave me a tracking devise and pushed me up to the archway. Voldemort was there. He sneered at me and pushed me in. When I got to the other side, I didn't recognize where I was. Mother and I had already planned incase something happened. When I got to the other side, I broke the tracker and threw it away. I was going to try to find the Assassins when Templars picked me up and started asking questions about the Assassins. Then the omega saved me." Draco took another breath and looked up at the Assassin's watching him.

The Alpha and Betas sneered at the idea of what the Templars did to him. The two omegas seem to sigh as they watched him.

Ezio cleared his throat and brought everyone's attention to him.

"Well, it seems that we need to think about this. As it seems that the future Templars are looking for Desmond and Harry." Draco's eye snapped over to the smallest of the Assassin's in stunned disbelief.

"When you say Harry, do you mean Harry Potter?" His voice shook slightly. Ezio, Desmond and the two betas looked at each other and frowned at the younger man.

"Yes. My son, Harry. It seems like this Templar is looking for him and found out that he went back in time. Ree, I'm sorry, but I need you to not go on missions alone anymore." The smallest finally pulled his hood form his head and glared at the older assassin.

"But Dad, you just finally let me go on missions on my own! He can't even get back here, and how would he know it was…" Ezio's hand silenced Ree midsentence.

"Ree, my word is final. Besides, you need time to get to know this new Alpha." Draco and Ree looked at Ezio in surprise. Ezio looked at the blond. "Or do you deny that my son is your mate?"

Draco shook his head and then looked at Ree again and felt the world melt away. He knew that the elder assassin was right, but he did want to get to know the raven better before doing anything else.

-This Is A Line Break-

It had been two months since Draco had arrived in Rome and so far it was the best few months of his life. Ree was the major element that made it so, but his adopted parents, Claudia and Valeria were another huge part of it. The two were always amazing with him and his need to spend time with Ree. Ezio and Desmond were another part of life that he enjoyed.

After he arrived, Desmond and Ree started teaching him basic technics that he had not learned from his cousin. Pickpocketing was Ree's specialty and something Draco sucked at so Ree taught him how to improve. Desmond taught him basics with a knife and how to use them with a sword. Ezio, after seeing him wield a sword had taken it upon himself to beat the shit out of Draco and call it training.

Even with the constant soreness, spending so much time with Ree was a dream come true. The young assassin was amazing and everything Draco had dreamed about in a mate. Beautiful, talented, lethal, caring, and so much more.

Even now, watching Ree pickpocket the clueless guard, it always amazed him that nobody ever saw him reach into his or her pockets.

"Hey Dray, we're ready to go, come on." Ree grabbed his hand and dragged him away from the busy street, a small scroll clutched in his left hand, right firmly around Draco's wrist.

Draco staggered his first step before picking up his pace.

"Ree, what's wrong?" His voice came out slightly louder than he wanted and several people to stop and stare at him.

A shout split the air behind him. He had to force himself not to look behind him and plant his feet on the floor.

"Pickpocket, someone took something of mine! When I find out who it was, they will pay!"

Draco didn't turn to look at the speaker, instead concentrated on keeping in step with the smaller male. In this situation, it wasn't unusual for omegas to be frisked by the irate guards. It was painful and humiliating for the omega in question, so many ran from the guards when that was happening. Ree was no different, and if he didn't want to lose his cover, he could not fight back.

"Dray, come on. I don't want to be frisked." Ree whined and Draco realized that he had slowed down a few steps, bringing Ree with him.

Draco frowned at his mate's distress and hurried his pace. They turned into an alley and Ree gasped.

Draco forced his eyes up in time to see a Templar platoon in front of him. Ree's hand slipped from Draco's and the smaller boy took off up the side of the building and across the roof. The Templars followed him, leaving Draco alone in the alley. Quickly, Draco climbed the building and took off after Ree.

HE jumped from one building and just barely grabbed the roof of the next. His few moments of distraction gave Ree enough time to run out of view. Draco slumped to the roof, looking for his small mate but he was out of sight.

-This Is A Line Break-

Draco staggered back to the hide out and sighed as he opened the door. He had lost Ree, what was he supposed to do? Ezio would kill him.

He took a breath before approaching Desmond and Ezio's office. He knew he'd be in for it, but he had to tell them.

HE lifted a hand to knock on the door, only for it swing open and reveal a worried Desmond on the other side.

"Ree…" He stopped mid-word, started to see Draco there instead. "Draco, where's Ree?"

Draco hung his head and then looked back up at Desmond, meeting his eyes.

"Can I come in? I have to talk to you both."
