Fans of Katie Bell and Oliver Wood would be surprised to hear that the superstar dream couple spent much of their time courting in complete silence. Oliver, the star and captain of Puddlemere United, and Katie, star chaser from the Appleby Arrows didn't see much of each other after Hogwarts outside of the pitch. Then they were selected for the England National Quidditch team. Since the only other Hogwarts-educated member of the team was Marcus Flint (now star of the Fitchburg Finches in the US), Katie and Oliver spent most of their off-pitch time together. As both of them were tracked by the wizarding press, they would try to sneak away from the training site and find some quiet space, preferably outdoors, but anywhere private would do. They would then be found just reading or listening to music, individually. Their relationship "started" as they began to shift towards each other, injecting a bit of physical comfort in their routine. Shortly they would be found lounging together reading on the same blanket; wound together in some manner… sometimes their legs would simply be touching as they each took up the same space. One day Oliver brought a picnic basket with him, filled with salads, fruit and some fine Pinot Grigio. From that day on they were Quidditch's hottest couple. And although their schedules rarely allowed them time to do so, their favorite thing, still after 10 years of marriage, was to sneak off together and just sit, not talking, just being together in silence.
