Just a little something that popped into my mind, so voila! If you enjoy it, I'd love feedback (in the form of a review :P)

"Fred," a voice called, causing the boy's eyes to flutter open. The boy had to blink several times before realizing that he was enveloped in darkness.

"Fred Weasley," the voice called again. Fred turned his head frantically in every direction, willing his eyes to detect something other than blackness, but to no avail.

"All you have to do is say goodbye, Fred." At that moment Fred realized the horrible truth of the situation, he was dead. He had left behind his twin, his best friend, and his other half. Fred tried to shout out, but his voice was swallowed by the darkness. He let his knees give out, but found that there was no ground; he was simply floating in a never ending, eternal darkness.

"C'mon Fred, it's not that difficult. Just let them go; let him go," the voice said again, this time closer to Fred. At the mention of his brother, images started racing through Fred's mind. Flying bludgers; small explosions; nights spent together in their room at the Burrow and their dormitory at Hogwarts; George lying unconscious on the couch after having his ear cursed off; and, finally, the last time they spoke before splitting up during the battle. Fred could feel the tears building up in his eyes, though his hands couldn't quite find his face to wipe them away.

"Is it supposed to be this hard? Letting go, I mean," he questioned the darkness, his voice breaking through.

"Of course it is, Freddie, but letting go doesn't mean forgetting," the voice soothed. Fred nodded his head and suddenly he was no longer emerged in darkness. He looked around, squinting his eyes against the bright sun that was beating down upon him, and absorbed his surroundings. At first he had no clue where he was, but he suddenly recognized the rolling Hogwarts grounds, with the large lake, the never-ending forest, and the castle atop the hill.

"Why am I here?" he asked, not expecting an answer.

"You are here because this is where you will reunite with your loved ones," the voice answered. Fred wheeled around and was faced with a group of three men sitting underneath a beech tree.

"W-what is this? Professor Lupin? Sirius?" The three chuckled at him as he sat down in front of them.

"Fred, we know that losing your brother hurts, we've all experienced that pain, but all you can do is wait for him here," a much younger, healthier version of Remus Lupin responded.

"But for now," the third man, who resembled Harry very much, said slyly, "we could use your help."

"Prongs is right, we've always been a group of four, but we're down to three," Sirius cut in.

"Padfoot, you're going to ruin this! I thought we had a plan!" Remus shouted in exasperation.

"I'm going to ruin it? Moony, you seem to have mucked it up on your own," Sirius shot back playfully.

"Hold on, did you three just say Prongs, Padfoot, and Moony?" Fred questioned as devilish grins spread across their faces.

"Mr. Weasely, how does 'Moony, Weasel, Padfoot, and Prongs' sound to you?"

Fred grinned before adding, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."
