It had been over a year since my Light died. The bitter February wind brushed against my bare skin and I hugged my coat tighter. I had spent over a year being numb. Being useless.

Kira was gone. My reason for living went with him. Kira was everything to me. I was left with nothing. The world has returned to the way it was. No more mentions of Kira. No more justice. I stared forward into the gray sky and my eyes focused on a particulary tall building. The taskforce headquaters.

For a moment, I wondered what had become of the building. No one was there. No one had been there for months. A tear made its way down my cheek.

"Hey lady! What're you doin' out there?! You crazy or somethin'?!" A man yelled behind me. I had chosen this building after a few days of searching. This was the perfect place. The perfect rooftop. I slowly put my right foot over the street below.

"Are you trying to die or something?!" Yes. Yes, I am.

Footsteps. The man was running toward me. I refused to let anyone ruin my perfect suicide. A small raindrop hit my foot just as I was about to leave.

"Happy Valentine's Day, Light."

A/N Something very short that took me about five minutes to think of and then write. I was thinking about writing something different and this is what my mind came up with. Hope you enjoyed!
