Hello everyone.
Sorry if this was an anti-climatic update.
I have a VERY important news.
So, as you guys know, I'm actually an avid anime fan and I do write up on other pairings too. And I am actually having crucial exams in college, so I was so busy & it wasn't very pleasant trying to write my heart out as it is my hobby but studying gets in the way.
Recently I've been thinking about the plot about this fanfiction, and I was thinking on how it was going nowhere. Victoria was so not how I wanted it to be, maybe I was too young back then (this was first written 3 years ago). I've been more exposed to works and maybe I should rewrite, but it was so daunting.
I was determined to write this up, slowly and properly, but this impolite review from my OTHER fanfiction really made my final decision to terminate it.
This was an anonymous review in my other fanfiction, "The Puppeteer":
"Oh my stars. It's September and you really should have a bona fide explanation for not updating Two Different Paths. I need to find out what the fucks going on with this Cero person. I mean, it's been FOUR MONTHS. I just can't even. I am unable to even. I just can't. I can't even even. And yes, I'm a bitch."
So yearp, that's the EXACT review. I don't know who wrote this, but I've noticed that the LOTF readers are more rude compared to my anime fanfic readers. Sometimes some reviews will be so irrelevant or highly suspected that they don't read too well and demand answers when it can be found on the fanfic itself.
Bottom line, I REALLY tried to appeal this to those pleasant readers and those who give constructive criticisms. I even re-wrote some chapters when a lot reviewers pointed it out.
But that review on my OTHER fanfiction and scolding me on how I don't update it? If there was such an issue, then I suggest the best way is to PM. I find it a very coward move to just give an impolite remarks behind the screen with an anonymous username. How am I supposed to reply when or the reason why I can't update? So whoever wrote this, well, sorry but this is a situational irony. Instead of getting it to get updated, it had an opposite effect.
So final decision: I am not completing this fanficiton.
I may change my mind, but this is the verdict for now.
Again, I apologise for those that have been a sweetheart, has patience and supported this fanfic.
Yet, to think about it, it's NOT motivating to write your passion out, in 2000 words and above in every chapter, just to get a lot of demands for the next update without asking if I'm still alive or PM-ing instead. I do believe that I try my utmost to do fanfictions with minimal grammar (no matter how bad I am with subject-verb agreement especially) and I am still 19, started out writing at 11 (hence, pretty immature in thoughts of the written works sometimes). I wrote that fanfic because I've wondered if there was any different if certain characters were different. It's not cool getting a review from another fanficiton about not updating this fanfiction.
For those who are going to have outbursts again like a lot of reviewers did while I was doing this work, feel free to do so. It'll discourage it even further of discontinuing this fic.
Hope all of you will respect my decision.
Have a good day.
