Kenzi's breath was slow and calm. Her eyes had a certain nervousness that couldn't quite be deciphered by Bo's intuitive glare yets still it was there. Bo's eyes watched Kenzi from the rearview mirror of the car in near fear from the silence. It was too silent and even thought Bo had only known the child for a day she was sure this silence didn't match Kenzi's personality. Not in the slightess.

At first she thought maybe it was the darkness that mad Kenzi so upset. She was after all only five and it was a usual thing to be afraid of the dark at that age. However that didn't fly when she realized that she had found Kenzi at the dead of the night. So there was no possible way that Kenzi was afraid. Then again there was also nothing else that seemed to cross her mind with a plausable reason.

"Kenzi what's wrong?"

Kenzi eyes opened wider. Her little hands clutched Charlie in a furious grip while her knees raised themselves to her chest in a protective stance. She tilted her head. Then she frowned.

"Are you mad at me?"

Bo would have turned around fully had her eyes not been trained on the road but she too frowned at the question that was suppose to be the anwser.

Bo couldn't conceded for what seeing as they had just been fine an hour ago. Albiet Kenzi had been a bit grouchy from the drousiness that arose after there long nap. It had been a two hour nap which was more than expected. It also left them with only an hour to get ready and during that hour they had been fine. Bath time had been easy, it was the same routine that had been displayed the night before. Doing Kenzi's hair, while it had been a hassle it had also left them both laughing at the fact that Charlie just didn't have enough hair for it to be styled. Finally getting dress had been absolutely awful...simply because Bo had to find a way to make a make-shift bow to match Kenzi's black pajamas. Yet it had been great to see Kenzi smile out of her drousiness.

"No, no I'm not. Why would you think that?"

"Because..." Her eyes seemed to replay the day's events. "Charlie, and cause we don't finish our game. I fell asleep."

Bo laughed. "No."

"That's not funny."

"I think it is." Bo replied pulling into the parking lot.

"No it's not!" She yelled with a pout spreading on her face. "Charlie tell her." The car was silent. "See I told you. Charlie said it is not funny."

"Okay Okay it is not funny."

The woman exited the car with a smile and a breath of fresh air. This was the begining of a new start and although she knew it wouldn't last too long she was excited.

She pulled Kenzi from the back seat and placed her by her side. She brushed back her finely placed hair before she took a step forward. Kenzi's little pitter-pat feet rhythm followed and they set on their small venture to bar.

"Alrighty then."

The hours had passed by carelessly. Kenzi's boredom was settled with glasses of lemonade and soft humming. It was contenetment. It seemed to be a solace to just be near each other and with that time passed with little distress.

However that doesn't mean there wasn't any.

Kenzi couldn't be seen behind the bar. She could be heard rummaging through Bo's purse but she could not be seen. Cuustomers could hear her yawns and little conversations with Charlie but the source could not be found unless, you worked there.

When she had entered the bar earlier there had been no questioning because she was early. There was just a need for a little bit of convincing which she executed finely for Sam. Other than that it was just a "Here's the Bar. I would hope you would know the basics and if you don't learn 'em."

However when dusk certainly settled other employees came in. Well just one actually but that was enough.

She was a fair skinned brunnet. Her hazel eyes matched her slacks that was paired with a light green shoulder off shirt. She was decent to say the least. She wasn't spectacular, not in the slightess especially the way she made her destination know with that god damned smacking that was just horrific. Still she was something if not nice enough to respect.

"You're a pretty thing. Don't see why you would be working here." She had and accent. Jersey.

"Well hi my name is Bo and you are?" She waves sarcastically. "But thanks."

She makes her way behind the bar before she stops and stares at the tiny girl. She frowns then smiles till all she had was this confused look before her confindent stance was fixed upon her again.

"I've never seen a kid at a bar before."

"Well there is always time for a first."

"Julie Ann" Her eyes are back on Kenzi. "Mi nombre es Julie Ann." SHe smirked.

"Hi." Bo didn't know what was up with this girl and she didn't really care so she kept the small talk small and directed the younger woman's attention elsewhere. "I think you're needed." The criminal pointed her in the direction of a man with a creepy smile and ruffled hair.

"Aight, but don't forget about me..What's you're name again?"

"Bo."

"Yeah Bo TTYL."

It was pretty late though and she wasn't counting on that talk. The girl seemed nice enough and she didn't want her to be her next dinner no matter how nosy she was.

Still Kenzi was light against her leg as she hugged her body to it. Her yawns had sped up significantly while her drooping eyes signalled the angel's drousiness. But most of the bar was almost empty now and there was no doubt that the place would be closing soon. Request were called and she delivered. It was automatically really. No one caught her eye and she took that as a sign. The possibilities of maybe staying for a while grew in her head as they always had and she was excited.

She was so excited she barely even noticed that a man was talking to her.

"That's the highest sales in the division. Then in the morning I'm flying back to Omaha."

"That's great" was Bo's automatic response.

"Excuse me." Samuel brought a barrel behind her. He was trying to be careful yet the way he was bumping into her still didn't seem so accidental. She smirked at him for fun. He was her boss after all.

"Keep the tip." He placed the drink she had recently poured in front of him with a cocky smile. "And this Darling is for you."

"Thanks but I can't. It's policy."

"Okay then. But you're missing out."

Sam's behind her once again and she's quite glad that he's demanding her attention. "Bo, serve the customer down the bar and that'll be it. I can handle the rest of the night."

"Thanks"

Looking down the bar the customer had seemed to disappear leaving her to scan the remaining occupants of the pub. There is where she found herself trained on the man who had offered her a drink. With same drink in hand she watched as he offered it to Julie Ann which she accepted with a beam. She seemed to have gotten the news too and was setting out to go. She walked out and he followed with experience.

She expressed her indesicion with a moan. 'Douche' Bo found herself whispering.

Quickly she picked Kenzi up an followed close behind. She wouldn't let this happen even if it did mean her demise. Kenzi was sleep and this would probably be the only time she could feed. This was a beautiful opportunity. This was survival.

When she landed into the elevator Julie was passed out and as slack as a rug. She had seen this more often or not which is why it amazed her that these douches just 'knew' they wouldn't get caught. It was if they didn't realize that elevators had cameras.

Bo doesn't flirt. She doesn't have time for that. She needs to get in and get out and that's all she plans to do.

When she pushes up against him she make sure Kenzi isn't touching the disgusting form. When she toys with his tongue and makes him moan she console Kenzi by rubbing her back. When she's sucked him dry she makes sure his body doesn't make a sound. When she leaves she doesn't look back.

And when she looks at Kenzi she doesn't notice that Kenzi's eyes are squinted not shut.
