During the first month of magical academical year nothing spectacular happened other than Sturgis Podmore, a member of The Order of Phoenix, was caught trespassing at the ministry and sentenced to six months imprisonment in Azkaban. Obviously Dumbledore failed to bail him out. A short sweet rendezvous with the Dementors was arranged for Podmore. After 6 months Podmore would be Pod-No-more.

Ron was selected as keeper of the Gryffindor team and Harry had a revenge planned for him. Another surprise was that Ginny was playing as Seeker for the team. Even though Harry Crucio'ed Ron his ego was not satisfied so he discreetly wrote a poem and gave it to Daphne to pass it among the Slytherin, so that they could use it during the game to affect Ron's morale.

Dolores Umbridge was appointed as Hogwarts High Inquisitor as per the newly formalized Educational Decree 23. It gave her power to inspect other classes and report on them. It also gave her power to fire Professors who were not on par with teaching standards. It was a ploy by Fudge to decrease Dumbledore's popularity at Hogwarts too and undermine his authority. Faction led by Fudge and Malfoy were passing laws that benefitted the dark faction, not that Fudge was aware of the laws he was passing and how they could be used as loop-holes.

On separate note Harry was accosted by Filch on many occasions. One morning when Harry went to Owlery to send a letter to his account Manager at Gringotts, Filch came and accused him of ordering dungbombs to play pranks.

On other note Ms. Bookworm tried to engage in a pet peeve of her i.e., to free house-elves. Even with him telling her last year to understand the problem before acting on the solution she still continued the project of freeing house-elves. Harry came to know of this and made a ploy with Dobby, who was loyal to Harry.

Harry after becoming part owner of the castle freed Dobby and bound him to himself. He still made Dobby act like he was dedicated to Dumbledore like a good elf. Dobby told Harry that Hermione was knitting hats and leaving them in common room to free the house-elves, little did she know that it did not work like that but she continued on with her foolish endeavour.

One evening when most of the Gryffindor students were in common room; Dobby along with all other house-elves of Hogwarts apparated to Gryffindor common room and rebuked Hermione.

"Ms. Traitor, we are not wanting to be free. We wanting to serve family/students. If freed we lose our magic. Can you stop studying Ms. Grangy? Likewise we cannot stop working. Not all masters bad. We depending on master's magic for survival. So no freeing us bad Grangy."

Hermione fled the common room in tears. The next day the news that Granger was scolded by house-elves was spread in Hogwarts and she became a laughing stock.

Obviously Draco took the opportunity presented when no teachers were present "Is it true mudblood that you got rejected by a house-elf? Maybe it is due to your bucktooth."

All the Slytherins were laughing at her. Ron stood beside her helplessly doing nothing other than seething in rage at Malfoy.

"May be like scarhead she will get a moniker in future. She-who-got-dumped-by-houseelf." Laughter increased and many of the Slytherins were holding onto each other to stop themselves from falling onto the floor and roll around laughing.

Ofcourse Harry also took the opportunity presented; he knew Draco would taunt Hermione, so he orchestrated a plan. Dobby appeared at the scene, as per Harry's orders, and scolded Malfoy.

"Old bad Master shantn't be speaking to others like that when he is a bad blood in Malfoy family. Old bad master dreaming of sleeping with other men always. Old bad master crushing on Professor Batty."

Draco's face turned red with rage. He wasn't gay. How dare the house-elf say he is gay! But before he could scold the house-elf he disapparated from the area. Now Gryffindors were laughing boisterously while Slytherin tried to hold back their snickers. This was too damn hilarious. And to add embarrassment to Draco, Snape was just passing through that area and listened to everything that wretched house-elf said. If one were to see Snape's hands, they were twitching to wring neck of whoever got near him.

Harry started teaching Daphne, Luna, Lisa and Tracey DADA and duelling. They used the RoR and practiced atleast twice a week. Fleur Delacour his fiancé joined Gringotts as an apprentice to learn warding. She sounded little depressing last time he spoke to her. After probing he found out that William Weasley was making her uncomfortable. It seemed that he was enamoured by Fleur and trying to make her fall in love with him. Fleur even tried to dissuade Bill telling him that she was engaged. Fleur knew Bill only lusted after her. He would die very painful death and it was a promise.

Umbridge was inspecting classes of different Professors. She made Trelawney nearly cry during her inspection. With Snape, she tried to intimidate him but he made her look like school girl. The inspection of McGonagall class ended with both of them shouting at each other. CoMC professor Grubbly Plank's class's inspection went well but there were questions raised about where the previous instructor Rubeus Hagrid was?

Harry totally forgot about Hagrid. He deduced that Dumbledore might have sent Hagrid on some fool's errand. Even for the greater good Hagrid couldn't keep his mouth shut, some whisky or rum in him and he would be singing all the secrets. Hagrid had no tact or subtlety on a mentally retarded kid. So Dumbledore might have sent Hagrid to Giant Colonies to recruit them or stop them from joining Lord Voldemort like last time.

During Quidditch Gryffindor team was thoroughly trounced by the Slytherin team. Harry gifted Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff teams with brand new Firebolts. The teams were floored when Harry kept his promise and gave them new racing brooms. This won him many brownie points in the 3 houses. Gryffindor knowing this approached him about new Firebolts to his old house team but were sent back after him fishing out his middle finger to them.

Gryffindor team's morale was already down and then the Slytherins started chanting the poem provided by Harry as a result Ron was not able to save most of the goals and by most it means he left 48 of the 53 goals. Ginny even though was a good seeker was not able to catch up to Firebolt with her CleanSweep 7. Harry somewhat felt bad for her as she really changed her ways but he wasn't going to forget or forgive, also he wouldn't go out of his way to antagonize her.

Slytherin won the match 630 to 180 against Gryffindor. McGonagall looked like a woman suffering from Diarrhoea and unable to go to bathroom. Snape looked like he had a mini-orgasm.

-Scene Break-

Harry came to know from Winky that Hermione had arranged for many students to meet during the Hogsmeade visit, in 'The Hog's Head'. The meeting was for all those who were dissatisfied with Umbridge's teachings. Harry secretly followed them under the cover of his invisibility cloak and masking his footsteps so that he wouldn't be found out.

"Hermione, why are we meeting other here? Won't Three Broomstick do?" asked Ron

"Oh no," said Hermione, coming out of her reverie, "no, it's always packed and really noisy. I've told the others to meet us in the Hog's Head, that other pub, you know the one, it's not on the main road. I think it's a bit . . . you know . . . dodgy . . . but students don't normally go in there, so I don't think we'll be overheard."

Both of them hesitated outside the door. "Well, come on," said Hermione, slightly nervously. Harry followed them inside.

The barman sidled towards them out of a back room. He was a grumpy-looking old man with a great deal of long grey hair and beard. He was Aberforth Dumbledore, a decent person unlike the brother of his.

"What?" Aberforth grunted. He wasn't a people person and only opened up to some people. Hagrid was a regular customer to his bar and a decent friend of his despite him being Albus's lackey.

"Two Butterbeers, please," said Hermione.

The man reached beneath the counter and pulled up two very dusty, very dirty bottles, which he slammed on the bar.

"Four Sickles," he said.

Ron looked at Hermione as if asking her to pay for the drinks. "Can't you pay atleast once Ronald. Always making me pay for your stuff too." said Hermione while rolling her eyes at his obvious stingy behaviour.

Ron and Hermione retreated to the furthest table from the bar and sat down, looking around. Harry stood at the far corner from where he could hear them clearly and also prevent him from running to someone who might attend the meeting.

The door of the pub had opened. A thick band of dusty sunlight split the room in two for a moment and then vanished, blocked by the incoming rush of a crowd of people.

First came Neville with Dean and Lavender, who were closely followed by Parvati and Padma Patil with Cho and one of her usually-giggling girlfriends then Katie Bell, Alicia Spinnet and Angelina Johnson, Colin and Dennis Creevey Ernie Macmillan, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Hannah Abbott, a Hufflepuff girl with a long plait clown her back whose name Harry did not know; three Ravenclaw boys he was pretty sure were called Anthony Goldstein, Michael Corner and Terry Boot, Ginny, closely followed by a tall skinny blond boy with an upturned nose whom Harry recognised vaguely as being a member of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team and, bringing up the rear, Fred and George Weasley with their friend Lee Jordan, all three of whom were carrying large paper bags crammed with Zonko's merchandise.

"Woah Hermione, these many?" question Ron

"Yes, well, the idea seemed quite popular," said Hermione happily.

"Ron, do you want to pull up some more chairs?'

The barman had frozen in the act of wiping out a glass with a rag so filthy it looked as though it had never been washed. Possibly, he had never seen his pub so full.

"Hi," said Fred, reaching the bar first and counting his companions quickly, "could we have Twenty-four Butterbeers, please?"

The barman glared at him for a moment, then, throwing down his rag irritably as though he had been interrupted in something very important, he started passing up dusty Butterbeers from under the bar.

"Cheers," said Fred, handing them out. "Cough up, everyone; I haven't got enough gold for all of these ..."

Harry watched numbly as the large chattering group took their beers from Fred and rummaged in their robes to find coins. When everybody had pulled up a chair, the chatter died out. Every eye was upon Hermione.

"Er," said Hermione, her voice slightly higher than usual out of nerves. "Well, you know why you're here. I had the idea that it might be good if people who wanted to study Defence Against the Dark Arts and I mean, really study it, you know, not the rubbish that Umbridge is doing with us because nobody could call that Defence Against the Dark Arts. Well, I thought it would be good if we, well, took matters into our own hands."

She paused, looked sideways at Ron for help but he was blissfully enjoying his Butterbeer, what she didn't know was that he already finished his and was on the verge of finishing hers, so she went on, "And by that I mean learning how to perform spells, not just in theory but doing the real spells. And prepare for DADA OWL."

Many people who were in fifth year agreed because of the OWL and some of the seventh years along with the sixth years also agreed to join the group. Timings and place would be decided later on based on the Quidditch practices and club timing of various clubs. Finally they arranged to meet once a week and Hermione would inform them of a place that she found suitable to their needs.

-Scene Change-

Rest of semester went well for Harry; Daily Prophet was now publishing fewer articles about him. Harry spent his time in classes, learning duelling under the care of Helena and teaching his friends DADA and duelling. By now Harry could fight 8 Moody level Aurors on equal footing and win with some difficulties.

Hermione under the guidance of Dumbledore found the RoR, when he asked a castle bound elf about a secret room. He even gave her some books to help her in studies. Dumbledore wanted to recruit the good and faithful students into Order, when they reached the age.

Hermione in good faith towards Dumbledore named the group after Dumbledore as D.A in short for Dumbledore's army. She knew Dumbledore wanted to recruit students who showed promise as members of Order, as he himself told her about it and asked her to see which students were good. Also it would help her develop connections as many pureblood students would join many departments in ministry and if required she might ask them for help/information for The Order.

Hermione took up the mantle of leader and started teaching the students. She first learnt her mistake when she was teaching a fifth year spell; many couldn't perform them at all. She then decided to check how they fared to perform lower year spells and she can confidently say that they failed spectacularly. So she began teaching them from third year spell onwards.

Harry discreetly watched the students learning spells that he could perform most of them in his first year. He shook his head in dismay at the pathetic attempts. For all her faults Hermione is a decent teacher. Though misguided her reasons for teaching them were, atleast she taught them to defend themselves, otherwise they would be sitting ducks when facing DeathEaters. So he would refrain himself from informing Umbitch about this group.

-SceneBreak-

During the last week before the Christmas holidays, Harry found out from Dobby that he heard Dumbledore informing the Weasley kids that William Weasley was attacked by Lord Voldemort's pet while he was guarding a weapon in DoM. Luckily Bill sent a Patronus to him and he got Bill to get treatment before he could succumb to the poison of Nagini.

So Harry hatched up a plan that would kill two birds with one stone. Harry used the time turner he stole from DoM and went 14 hours back in time, to during the last class of the day. Originally he did not attend the History of Magic deeming it a waste of time, so he practicing in RoR. So he attended the class and after 15 minutes he held his scar and pretended to have pain, so that people can he see he wasn't feeling well as he made hissing noises that showed he was in pain.

Hermione and Ron saw this. After the class they went to Dumbledore and informed him of this as he told them to inform him if Harry's scar pained.

Harry himself was waiting for Dumbledore to come to him and ask him if he had any visions from Dumbledore and he wasn't disappointed, so predictable. Harry to delay time hid in room of requirement till dinner, where he was cornered by Dumbledore. Dumbledore took Harry into the room behind the great hall where the Champions of TWT were sent after selection.

"Harry! My boy! I heard that your scar gave you some trouble today in class?" enquired Dumbledore.

"Yes headmaster, Voldemort found out that Lucius Malfoy lost his important item Diary, I think, and he punished him. He thinks you are after his items and found out the secrets. So today he is planning to change location of one from Gaunt Shack, I think. He is planning to place it under Fidelius. You must hurry headmaster." said Harry while acting as if his scar was in pain and added "He seems really angry Headmaster."

"Thank You Harry. I will look into it rest assured, you went through a painful ordeal, take rest."

-Scene Break-

Dumbledore visited Gaunt shack to retrieve the Horcrux and found it be a Hallow. Dumbledore searched for this particular item for long time, so having it before his eyes made him succumb to the temptation and tried it on. Also it didn't help that Harry cursed the ring with a very powerful compulsion charm and untreatable dark curse.

After putting on the ring, Dumbledore felt the effects of curse take place and before he could do anything his hand shrivelled and became rotten (like Egyptian Mummy's hand). Dumbledore quickly sent a patronus to Severus Snape after removing the wretched ring from his hand and flashed flamed back to his office where he found Severus waiting for him.

Severus informed him that he would die as he cannot counter the curse and had only delayed it from spreading too fast. Severus then moved Dumbledore into his private room to have him get rest.

Meanwhile, while Dumbledore was dumb enough to try the ring, Bill was attacked by Nagini while he was guarding the prophecy in DoM. When Bill took out his wand to send a Patronus to Dumbledore to rescue him, he was disarmed.

Bill felt air leave his lungs and was having difficulty breathing. He could feel the poison spreading through his body and he felt like his insides were burning. He lifted his head to see who the attacker was and was surprised to see Fleur Delacour.

The words which Fleur said made it much more painful "Bon Voyage Bill. I told you to stop pursuing me. I am taken. You know who my fiancé is? Non? Harry Potter! He concocted the plan for your demise. Requiescat in pace!" (always wanted to do that after playing AC game)

With that William Weasley, also known as Bill succumbed to Nagini's poison which melted nearly all his organs.

Fleur thought about the plan which Harry made. He called her during her break and told her his plan and also gave her a responsibility to disarm Bill when he was reaching for his wand. They communicated through the twin mirrors. Harry kept the connection on and guided her through the DoM. Also she was to place some Timeturners on Bill after his death making it look like Bill got poisoned in DoM after attempting to steal timeturners.

-Next Day-

The headlines of Daily Prophet read:

Eldest Weasley child and Curse breaker for Gringotts, William Weasley mysteriously found dead in Department of Mysteries after attempting to steal TimeTurners and documents from DoM.

The Weasleys in Hogwarts were shocked to see the news. They didn't expect Bill to die as all he was doing was a simple guard duty for the Order. Hell even Dumbledore was shocked as he was screwed over twice by Voldemort.

Dumbledore thought that Voldemort gave a false vision to Harry to distract him, while he retrieved the prophecy from the DoM and he fell to the ploy. Dumbledore never expected Tom to execute such a brilliant plan. Sadly Bill died.

-Voldemort's PoV-

Dark Lord known as Lord Voldemort sat on his throne in Malfoy manor and contemplating his next move. He knew he had to find out what the prophecy contained. He hit his nemesis two times with killing curse which is one of the most powerful dark spell yet he had to kill Potter. First time he was stripped of his power. Second time he felt his magical power decrease. He did not want to take a chance for next time. May be the prophecy would tell Potter or him about how to defeat their nemesis.

Secondly he was surprised that Potter made such a bold statement that he would not fight him due to the hypocrisy of the magical Britain. He knew when his resurrection would be made known to the world then ministry would flock around Dumbledore and Potter to fight him. If Potter joins him or atleast stay neutral when the second war starts, he might spare Potter depending on the content of the prophecy ofcourse.

He had given orders to Malfoy to stop antagonizing Potter, but Fudge was hell bent on degrading popularity of Potter. When he revealed himself then Fudge would be the first person who would ousted from his office, followed by Dumbledore who would lose lot of faith because of him failing to support Boy-Who-Lived, bah what a ridiculous title.

Ah! How much he hated the title He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named rather he liked He-Who-Must-Be-Feared. May be he can give a private interview to Skeeter woman.

Recently he found out that Lucius lost the diary, which he had given to him. He hoped Dumbledore didnot make a connection to what it was. He would have killed Lucius if it wouldn't have made Dumbledore suspicious about the item.

Today is time for celebration as he drew first blood against Dumbledore's group, as Bill Weasley was killed by Nagini.

Next chapter will hopefully conclude Book 5, also Harry-Dumbledore faceoff. I am trying to make the story as different as possible from the existing ones. Some may find it cliche or silly but I try to make it as enjoyable as possible.
