Chapter 24

Haruhi woke up to a knock on her door. Groaning, she rolled over and tried to go back to sleep, hoping that whatever or whoever it was would go away. "Haruhi! You need to wake up; we have a very long morning ahead of us!" Kaoru shouted from the closed door.

Haruhi pulled the blanket over her head, "Go away!"

"Did she really just tell us to go away? That sounds like a woman that wants to get married today," Hikaru shouted back at the door, pounding it for emphasis.

Haruhi groaned and looked at the clock by her bed. It read 7:30 am, "Guys, it's too early…"

Kaoru tested the door and opened it. "I was trying to be nice, but now you need to get up. We have breakfast ready and you need to shower." Kaoru pulled the blanket away from Haruhi. Haruhi shivered as the cold air hit her.

"I'm up! I'll go shower." Haruhi rolled off the bed and passed them.

"That's what I'm talking about! Go shower and we'll meet you in the kitchen," Hikaru told her as they left the room.

Haruhi walked into the bathroom, stretched, and got into the shower. It had been a long last few nights. Kyoya and Haruhi had been double checking on meals, reservations, clothes, and a bunch of other wedding related things. Also, she hadn't seen Kyoya or Sora for the last twenty-four hours because Renge insisted that she go out clubbing for a bachelorette party. Haruhi had told her that she wasn't interested in that kind of party. So instead, Mai, Fuyumi, Renge, and Haruhi spent the day at the spa. They got massages, manicures, and pedicures. They ended the day with a big dinner and a movie. Sure, it did sound boring, but Haruhi was perfectly okay with that.

Turning off the water, Haruhi walked out of the shower and dried off. She pulled on a robe and clipped her hair up. She was pretty hungry by now and she knew that the twins wouldn't hesitate to come drag her out if she took too long. Knowing this, Haruhi made her way into the kitchen and greeted the twins.

Hikaru looked up, "About time! It's almost eight and we have so much to do before the wedding!"

Kaoru rolled his eyes, "We're doing fine on time. Haruhi, please eat. We promised Kyoya that you would eat, regardless of how late that would make you."

Haruhi sat down and pulled the bowl of Greek yogurt to her. She took a big bite and smiled at them, "Happy now?"

Hikaru smirked, "It's a start."

Kaoru looked at her for a few seconds and took in her appearance. "We should start with makeup. You already did your nails, which saves us a lot of time. Waiting for paint to dry is never something I had the patience for. We're going to add a slight wave to your hair, but leave it down. You trimmed it to a perfect length."

Haruhi looked at both the twins, who were studying her intensely. She knew those looks, those looks told her that they were probably thinking of last minute additions or trying to remember what they had forgotten. Standing up, Haruhi stretched, "Well, I guess it should be simple enough. We have to make it to the courtyard by two o'clock. It's almost eight, so we have six hours to get all three of us ready. Sound like enough time?"

Hikaru rolled his eyes, "Getting us ready isn't a problem, Haruhi. The challenge will be getting you ready. We know that Kyoya and you kept this wedding pretty low-key, but some reporters still got wind of your wedding. That means that the spotlight is on you. Kyoya was working on putting more security around the place, but you never know who is crafty. I know this is the part of being in our circle that you hate, but nothing we can really do about it now."

Kaoru shot Hikaru a glare, "Kyoya didn't want her to know that! He said that he'd take care of it all! Oh well, Haruhi, we need to get a move on. There is a lot to do in these six hours and we'll need every minute that we can get!" Hikaru and Kaoru grabbed her hands and directed her back to the bathroom.

Haruhi fidgeted in the room she was tucked away in. The twins really had needed every minute to get the three of them ready. Not to mention, all the bridesmaids showed up halfway through to make sure that the twins were getting ready as well. The wedding started in thirty minutes and now it seemed like the clock wasn't slowing down.

It wasn't second thoughts that ran through her mind in these moments. What ran through Haruhi's mind was what her life was now and where it was going. She knew that she loved Kyoya. She knew that her life with him, while not always perfect, and definitely full of surprises, was what she wanted. Haruhi couldn't wait to stand in front of her family and friends and make everything official.

She remembered one night, after she had put Sora down; Kyoya came behind her and pulled her back to their room. They sat down on the edge of their bed and Kyoya pulled her close. She had wondered what he had been up to that night, but she knew that he'd reveal it soon. He kissed her and she remembered feeling his hand sneak to her ring finger and tug her engagement ring off. Gasping, Haruhi pulled away and looked at him carefully. She didn't understand what was happening or why her ring was suddenly off. Her finger felt naked almost, because other than showering, the ring never left her finger.

Kyoya smiled back at her and slid off the bed to kneel in front of her, "Princess, we've been together for just over three years now. We have been through so much-we dated, we had a son, we tried out other people, I started running a company, we graduated high school, we moved, we started college. I can't imagine what else life will have in store for us. However, three years ago today, I put that ring on your finger. It was a promise that we would get married. At that time, I wasn't sure when that would happen. We've been so busy. I haven't forgotten though, and it's been so long since we both promised each other. What I'm trying to say, Haruhi, is do you still want to marry me?"

Haruhi suddenly felt tears that she didn't even know were streaming down her face. She slid off the bed next to him, "You silly man, of course I still want to marry you!" She grabbed his hand and leaned her forehead up against his. "I can't imagine my life without you. We've had this conversation so many times. You didn't have to ask me again."

Kyoya leaned forward and kissed her again while sliding the ring back onto her finger. He pulled her against him and looked down at her, "I wanted to, because I feel like now is the time to start planning it. Do you think we can pull off a wedding on top of what we're doing?"

Haruhi's eyes widened, "You want to start planning?"

"It's time, princess. We need to just stop putting it off and go forward."

Haruhi kissed him excitedly, "Then let's see the twins tomorrow. They've been trying to get me to commit to a date for years."

Haruhi smiled at the memory. It had been a surprising night, but after that moment, they had thrown themselves into picking a date, venue, guest invitations, meals, etc. This last year had been a whirlwind of planning, school, and parenting. Suddenly, a knock on the door shook her from her memories. Haruhi turned around, "Enter."

The door opened to reveal her dad at the door. His outfit was the most unique that Haruhi had seen. Ranka wore a tux top that was similar to the Hosts' tuxes, but instead of pants, the twins had replaced it with a black pencil skirt. It looked amazing. Smiling, she took his outreached hand, "It's time Haruhi. Are you ready for this?"

Haruhi didn't have to question herself. She knew that a life with Kyoya was what she wanted. She didn't hesitate to return the question with a quick, "Yes."

Her dad pulled her close, "These are the moments that I wish that your mom was still here."

Haruhi's eyes swelled with tears, "I wish she was here too, but you've been the best dad anyone could ask for. Now let's go before the twins kill us for ruining my makeup." Ranka smiled and hooked her arm in his and led her towards the courtyard.

They could hear the music starting to play as they stood at the edge of the entrance. Haruhi peered out and saw Kyoya standing there with their son. The Hosts were all lined up behind Kyoya. Tamaki was right behind Kyoya. On the left were her bridesmaids that were standing there looking for her. Out in the crowd were the Hosts' families and close friends. Ranka nudged her gently, "Now or never. Are you ready?"

Haruhi looked at him and then back at the aisle. Everyone had turned towards the entrance waiting for her to appear. Haruhi smiled and took the first step out into the sunlight. All eyes were on her and she tried to ignore the gasps and the people whispering about how beautiful she looked. She focused on walking towards where everyone was waiting eagerly for her. Finally, her dad let go of her and she was right in front of Kyoya. Ranka kissed her forehead and walked over to the right. Kyoya took her hand and smiled at her, "You look beautiful, princess."

Haruhi smiled up at him and squeezed his hands, "I could say the same about you, my prince." With that, they turned to the officiator and nodded to let him know that they were ready to start.

The officiator smiled and addressed the crowd, "We are gathered here today to combine the Fujioka household in matrimony. These two have their own vows, I believe. Kyoya, you may go first."

Kyoya looked at Haruhi and squeezed her hand again. He reached down and grabbed the set of rings off the pillow that Sora was holding. He handed her one and took the other one and slid it on her ring finger. He looked into her eyes and thought about how his life was about to change. Kyoya thought about how he wasn't big on showing his feelings when they first met, but so much had changed. He was no longer so reserved, especially when it came to Haruhi and Sora. "Haruhi, you and I are more than lovers, we're best friends. We have built a family from the ground up and I can't wait to see where the future goes. We both know what we want to do with our lives. I can't wait to continue to build our lives together. I can't wait to see what we take on and change together. I promise to stick by you, as you've stuck by me these last few years. I promise to continue to try my hardest to make sure that we both succeed in anything that we pursue. I promise to love and cherish you. I love you, Haruhi."

Haruhi squeezed his hand and slid a ring onto Kyoya's ring finger as the officiator told her that it was her turn. "Kyoya, ever since we started dating, it's been a rollercoaster ride. I wouldn't have it any other way. I love this ride. I love the life that we've made for ourselves. We have so much potential together, and I want to see where it takes us. I promise to continue to support, love, and cherish you. I love you, Kyoya."

"Well, with that, I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Kyoya Fujioka. You may now kiss the bride!"

They both smiled and leaned into a simple kiss. When they parted, the officiator presented them as a married couple to the crowd. Kyoya looked back at Haruhi, "Those are some sweet words, princess. It's taken us four years to be official."

Haruhi smirked and leaned against him, "Well, now we have the rest of our lives to be official."

"You're quite right about that, Mrs. Fujioka."

Haruhi kissed him again, "You feel free to say that anytime you'd like, Mr. Fujioka."

Tamaki then burst through the two, "You guys just got married! You have the honeymoon to do that kind of stuff!"

Haruhi laughed and hugged him. She then felt a pair of tiny arms wrap around her legs. "Oh, Sora! Mommy has missed you so much!"

Sora lifted his arms up, pleading to be picked up. Before Haruhi could reach down and get him, Kyoya picked him up, "You missed mommy, too, didn't you?" Sora nodded and continued to reach towards her. Haruhi leaned closer and kissed his cheeks.

"Everyone, go take some pictures!" Hikaru announced to the party while pointing to the photographer. The group moved quickly and started taking group pictures together. Everyone did different groups and then family photos. By the time the group had finished, the party was ready in the ballroom. The group was ushered into the room by Hikaru, but Kaoru had held Haruhi back. Giving him a questioning look, Kaoru just winked and motioned her back into the room where she had been waiting right before the wedding.

"Kaoru, what are we doing?"

Kaoru was busy grabbing a box from behind the couch. "You really didn't think that Hikaru and I were going to let you dance around in those heels all night, do you? Sure, they're low, but these should feel a lot better by the end of the night." Opening the box, Kaoru revealed a pair of sea green flats. "There's memory foam inside and a slight lift. You'll still have height, but you should be able to dance and walk around for a lot longer."

Haruhi smiled and hugged him, "You both must be my guardian angels! Yes, I will gladly wear those!" Sitting down, she kicked off her shoes and held out her hands for the new pair of shoes. Kaoru shook his head and knelt down to slip them onto her. He smiled at her and helped her stand up. "These are really comfy! Thank you! Now, let's go enjoy the party!"

The two of them raced down the hall and entered the room. Everyone was just taking their seats and Kaoru smiled and walked away to find his seat. Haruhi joined Kyoya and sat down next to him. Leaning forward, she kissed his cheek. "Well there you are! I was wondering if you and Kaoru were secretly running away."

Haruhi smacked him playfully on the shoulder, "You run away before the wedding, not after! You're stuck with me for the rest of your life, Kyoya Fujioka."

Kyoya smirked and leaned closer, getting ready to kiss her, "I wouldn't have it any other way." He leaned forward and this time kissed her a little more deeply. Backing away slowly, Haruhi gave him a smile.

"Hey guys, the caterers are trying to serve you right now. Can you save that for later?" Tamaki asked, leaning over Sora.

Haruhi laughed and backed away from Kyoya to make room for the plates to be set down. The party chatted and ate through all three courses, toasts were made, and the cake was cut. The music started playing and the DJ announced that Haruhi and Kyoya were to have their first dance together and after that, Haruhi and Ranka had their own dance. After those two dances, people started to join them on the dance floor. Everyone was excited and enjoying themselves. Eventually though, the party started to die down; friends and family made their way to congratulate the couple one more time before leaving. Sora had fallen asleep on Haruhi's lap quite some time ago, quite exhausted from the busy day.

Haruhi stretched a bit when Kyoya picked up Sora from her lap. "We should go home for the night. The staff has just started cleaning up now."

Smiling, Haruhi stood up slowly, "This was a truly wonderful wedding. Are all the plans made?"

Kyoya smiled, "We leave tomorrow afternoon. That way Sora can be up to say goodbye to us. Ranka and Tamaki have promised to watch over our son while we are away. Where we are going, well…that is still a surprise, princess."

Haruhi grabbed a hold of his tie and pulled him close, "I can't wait to find out. For now though, let's go home."

Kyoya took her hand and bid farewell to everyone that had stayed late. Walking out, a limo was waiting for them. Getting in, they collapsed into the cushy seats and curled together. The whole day had been a success, but now they were all tired. They hadn't realized that they had arrived home until Ranka opened their door and helped them into the house. Taking Sora, Ranka carried him to his room while Haruhi and Kyoya shuffled to their room. Exhausted, all of the family members collapsed for the evening.

Haruhi would've loved to stay in bed for the whole morning, but Kyoya had other plans. At nine, she found herself being woken up again. "Princess, I would love to let you sleep, but we have to start getting ready. Our bags are already packed, the twins packed for you a week ago. We need to shower and have breakfast with Sora. We won't be seeing him for two weeks."

Haruhi groaned and stretched. Rolling out of bed, Haruhi went into the bathroom and started the shower. Her mind was starting to catch up with her body. Everything from last night played in her head like a sweet dream. Smiling to herself, she hurried through her shower and got out as Kyoya got in. Haruhi dried herself off and pulled on a dress. Opening her door, Sora was there waiting for her. Picking him up, Haruhi held him close, "Good morning, Sora! Did you sleep well?"

At his nod, she hugged him closer. "Grandpa made breakfast!"

"He did? Well, that was mighty nice of him. Let's go see what he made, alright?" Walking into the kitchen, Haruhi was greeted with a simple breakfast. Eggs, fruit, and pancakes were waiting on the table. Haruhi leaned forward and kissed her dad's cheek, "You're the best."

Ranka smiled and sat down at the table, "Congratulations on your wedding, love. It was a beautiful ceremony. I can't wait to find out where Kyoya and you go for those two weeks."

"Wait, he didn't tell you?"

"Nope. He said it was a secret from everyone. Only Kyoya knows where you are going."

"I kept it that way for multiple reasons," Kyoya answered from the doorway.

"Daddy!" Sora exclaimed as he jumped out of Haruhi's arms to run to his father.

Kyoya picked him up and smiled, "Good morning Sora! We're going to have breakfast with you, but right after, mommy and I are going on a small vacation together. You remember our talk, right?"

Sora nodded and hugged him closer, "I remember!"

Kyoya gave him one more squeeze before placing him down on a chair. Taking a seat, the family all started to eat. They made light conversation, but before they knew it, breakfast was over and it was time for Kyoya and Haruhi to leave. Kyoya had already moved their packed bags to the door. All they needed to do was say goodbye. Haruhi and Kyoya each hugged Sora close and told him to behave for Ranka. The parents ran through their list of concerns and contact info one more time with Ranka before he pushed them out of the house, "I got this! Go out and enjoy! Love you both!"

Haruhi and Kyoya both made themselves comfy as they sat down in the car. Haruhi laid her head on Kyoya's chest and sighed, "It'll be hard to be away from Sora for so long."

Kyoya pulled her close and pouted, "We can always call him. Do you not want to be alone with me for two weeks?"

"You know what I mean! I love both of you and I can't wait to see what you have in store, but I also am going to miss him."

"Well, rest, because we have awhile before we get to our destination." Haruhi cuddled up next to him and passed out almost instantly. The last week had taken its toll on her and rest sounded like a blessing. Kyoya leaned back and got comfortable as well, taking in the silence.

Just as the sun was setting, the car arrived at their destination. Haruhi gasped as she saw the familiar house. It was the beach house that they had stayed at the first time. It was where everything had started. She was just about to start walking to the door when Kyoya picked her up, "What kind of honeymoon would this be if I didn't carry you over the threshold?"

Haruhi kissed him as she was carried through the door and to a very familiar room. Kyoya laid her down on the bed and went to lock the door. Coming back, he found Haruhi right where he had left her, splayed out on the bed. Kyoya smirked and crawled on top of her, "I believe, princess, that we are now married."

Haruhi wrapped her arms around his neck and brought him closer, "I believe that you are right."

Kyoya kissed her and let his hand roam from her leg to under her dress, "I've been waiting for a while for this. I hope you're ready to be in here for a bit."

Haruhi pushed her hips up to meet his, slowly grinding on him, "I believe that I feel the same way."

Kyoya smiled and lowered his hand back to her thigh, gently tracing circles up in between her thighs. Haruhi groaned and twisted under the sensation. "I'm going to take my time with you, Mrs. Fujioka." Haruhi let out a moan as she felt Kyoya gently brush her opening through her underwear. That month had made her more sensitive. Kyoya pulled both of their clothes off and gently pushed her back down. Kissing her, he let his hands roam. They both started to get lost in each other. Haruhi was running her hands down his back and across his chest, while Kyoya was running his hands down her curves and over her breasts.

Breaking apart to breathe, Kyoya started a trail of kisses from her lips to her neck. His hands cupped her breasts and gently squeezed. Haruhi moaned and arched her back, giving him better access. Kyoya licked a nipple before taking it into his mouth while his other hand played with the other and then switched. Moving away a bit, he started another trail of kisses down to her hips while gently caressing her curves with his hands. Haruhi's hips lifted up a little to greet his kisses. The kissing and touches were enough to overload her senses.

Kyoya traced circles across her lower stomach and down her thighs. On the inside of her inner thighs, he started to slow even more. "Kyoya…you're being such a tease."

Kyoya moved back to her lips and kissed her. Pulling away he smirked, "Now I'm back to where I started. I guess I need to start over, don't I?"

Haruhi groaned before taking his hand and placing it in between her legs, "Please, Kyoya…"

Kyoya moved his fingers slightly, letting one slowly sink inside her. Haruhi moaned as she tried to push the finger deeper inside her. Kyoya pushed her hips down though, preventing that from happening. "Haruhi, tell me what you want."

Haruhi looked at him blushing, "I want to feel you…inside me."

Kyoya leaned forward and kissed her, "Your wish is my command." He slipped a finger inside her and started to move it slowly in and out. Haruhi lifted her hips, grasped the sheets, and moaned as she started to lose herself. Kyoya added another finger and used his thumb to rub her clitoris. He started to feel her clamp around his fingers and heard her breath hitch. "Cum for me, Haruhi."

He felt Haruhi orgasm soon after and he withdrew his fingers from her. Panting, Haruhi looked at him through half-lidded eyes. Gently, Kyoya pulled her legs a little further apart and placed himself at her entrance. Pushing himself in slowly, he moaned at how wet she was. Still sensitive from her orgasm, Haruhi pulsed around his penis. When he was inside her, he leaned forward and kissed her. Slowly, he rocked in and out of her, teasing her. He would come out part of the way and then slowly sink back in sometimes and other times, he would withdraw and wait a second before pushing himself back in. Haruhi moaned underneath him and lifted her hips up, trying to quicken his pace, "Faster, Kyoya…"

Kyoya obliged then, not wanting to wait anymore. He started to move faster and felt Haruhi cling to him. Groaning, Kyoya felt Haruhi tighten around him and even felt his own orgasm building. "Haruhi…I'm going to…"

"Cum for me, Kyoya," Haruhi groaned, feeling the pressure building inside her as well. Kyoya quickened to push them both over the edge. Collapsing on top of Haruhi, they both took deep breaths as they came down. Gently, Kyoya slid out of Haruhi and pulled the blanket over them. Haruhi laid her head on Kyoya's chest and closed her eyes. Despite the car ride, both of them had tired each other out. The last thought both of them had was, Well, this is a wonderful beginning to our honeymoon.

To Be Continued…
