A/N: What can I say? Thank you to everyone who read, reviewed and stuck with this story. This epilogue is short and sweet and I purposefully wanted it like that. Nothing to settled, and rather leaving the characters with a sense of adventure ahead of them.

Epilogue: A Few Months Later

Haley smiled at Nathan and handed him her bag. He took it and placed it in his car and then walked back over to her. He placed a kiss on the side of her temple.

'I really love you,' he said to her. She turned and smiled up at him.

'I love you.' She simply said and then stood on her tippy toes, wrapped her hands around his neck, and pulled him into a kiss.

'Agh!' The sound made Haley pull back from Nathan and look over her shoulder. Brooke was staring at them.

'We get it,' Brooke said a moment later. 'He loves you. You love him.' She pointed at each of them in turn. 'I love you,' Brooke said and pointed at Nathan. 'I love you.' She then said-still agitated- and pointed at Haley. 'I love you.' She added over her shoulder pointing at Luke. 'We all love each other! Now can we please get a move on!?' She finished her rant and Haley giggled.

'Brooke.' Haley said a second later and motioned with her eyes over to Luke- who had stopped dead with Brooke's bag still in his hand. Brooke looked over at Luke and saw the confused but happy expression on his face.

'Oh!' she said and covered her mouth. She vaguely registered Haley chuckling again.

'You what?' Luke said while dropping the bag his was holding and walking over to Brooke.

Haley leaned against the car and watched happily as this scene was unfolding. A second later she felt Nathan's hands wrap around her waist. He leaned down so he was whispering into her ear.

'Hales, what just happened?' she giggled again softly.

'That was the first time Brooke told Luke she loved him.' Haley replied blissfully and heard Nathan chuckle.

'But she was yelling at us. Does it count?' Nathan replied and placed a small kiss on Haley's cheek.

'I think so.' Haley said back while placing her one hand on tops of Nathan's arm that was wrapped around her waist.

'You what?' Luke repeated while grinning at Brooke. She had placed her arms on her hips and couldn't help but blush. She sighed.

'You heard me,' she was trying to keep her cool. Lucas walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her.

'I don't think I quite did.' He faked ignorance and placed a kiss on her forehead. The affection crumbled Brooke's resolve.

'Ok. Ok.' She said while pushing his chest slightly. 'I love you, Lucas Scott. You happy now?' Brooke huffed out while smiling.

'Very.' Lucas replied and pulled her into a kiss. He stroked her one cheek and then let his fingers tangle up in her hair. A moment later Brooke pulled away.

'Well, don't you have something to say to me?' Brooke asked him and could clearly see the cheeky look that crossed Luke's face.

'Yes,' he said a moment later and placed a piece hair behind her ear. 'You get really grumpy when you're hungry.' Luke said and could hear both Nathan and Haley laughing. Brooke had been dying to get on the road so they could stop and get something to eat- she kept telling them to get a move on as her breakfast was waiting.

'Hey!' Brooke smacked his arm. Luke let her go and walked over to pick up her bag and place it in the car. He could feel Brooke scowling at him.

'Oh,' he turned back a moment later. 'And I love you too, Brooke Davis.' Brooke broke out into a grin and could feel herself blushing again.

'That was smooth,' Haley said once she reached Brooke and nudged her.

'Oh, shut up.' Brooke said smiling over at her friend.

'Can you believe were actually doing this?' Haley asked a moment later while watching the boy's double check that they had packed everything.

'I can. It's going to be so much fun!' Brooke squealed in delight. 'And it will be ever better when we get some breakfast.' Haley laughed again and checked the time, it was really early and the sun was only just starting to warm up. A second later Brooke walked over to where Luke and Nathan were. Haley watched as Luke wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her to him, and then placing a kiss on the top of Brooke's head. Nathan nudged Luke a moment later and Haley watched as the three of them started laughing.

If someone had told her that this year she would be dating Nathan Scott and that her two best friends would get together-she would have laughed in disbelief. For a second her mind flashed back to everything they went through and when she brought her gaze back to her friends, she couldn't believe how happy they were now. She also couldn't believe that they were about to go on a road trip for the summer before returning to Duke for their next semester. Her, Nathan, Brooke and Lucas together, happy and travelling. She felt warm and she felt like she knew what the rest of her life may like look- she knew the type of love that would be around her always.

'Hales!' Nathan called over to her and motioned to her with a slight nudge of his head. 'Get over here.' She looked at him soaking him in before smiling.

'Gladly.' She said softly and ran over to him, he immediately took her hand.

'Let's get going.' They all said at the same time and then burst out laughing. She could feel Nathan squeeze her hand as he walked her to the car. She looked up at him and then back at Brooke and Lucas- and she couldn't help but think that this was a moment-a feeling- she would always remember.
