Chapter 13

He recognized her boots as they came into view when she walked inside and stopped singing.

"Aerrow, I-"

She fell silent when he didn't look up and she must've noticed something was off because she let the door close behind her. He continued to play and with a sudden burst of confidence he started singing at the beginning, decided it was the best course of action. She was already there: why not tell her?

She didn't move, just stood there, listening to him sing. He knew the song was familiar to her, he had found it on one of her CD's.

He finally looked at her, meeting her eyes. His voice was a bit stronger now and he prepared himself for her reactions as he played the last notes.

"Since you never seem to see
I'll say it in this love song"
