Several Months Later

"Dr. Abarai! Rukia! Over here!"

"Kon, don't yell across the lobby," Orihime gently scolded.

"I swear, brother, I can't take you anywhere," Ichigo teased. Kon just rolled his eyes.

Renji, Byakuya, and Rukia joined Ichigo, Kon, Orihime, and Tatsuki at the side entrance to the theatre.

"Glad to see you could make it, Dr. Kuchiki," Ichigo said.

"Please, call me Byakuya," he laughed.

"You know he won't," Tatsuki commented, rolling her eyes.

The group was soon joined by Nel, who led them to their private balcony bos and excused herself, promising to be back shortly.

"What's the name of this play again?" asked Kon.

"As You Like It, Shakespeare," replied Ichigo and Byakuya in unison.

Renji rolled his eyes. "No surprise there."

"Which character?" Ruki asked from the seat beside him.

"Jaques," Ichigo told her as the lights went down and the play began.

It was the seventh scene of the second act before Nel rejoined them.

"He said to be sure you listened," she hissed in Ichigo's ear as she took a seat behind him.

He frowned, but nodded and watched as Grimmjow appeared on stage in the character of Jaques.

His blue hair stood out brightly, almost comically, but his words caught Ichigo's attention.
