"Mooooony."
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
"C'mon, Moony, pleaassee?"
"NO."
"But you'd look cute!"
"I don't care."
James stared at his friends in confusion. This had been going on for at least 10 minutes since they'd entered the common room. It was also gaining the attention of almost everyone else residing there currently.
"But Reeeeeeeeeem!" Sirius whined. Remus glared at him from his spot in an arm chair.
"No." Sirius groaned and flopped onto the floor. James quirked a brow at him but Remus didn't seem perturbed.
"What do you want now, mate?" James asked his prone friend. Sirius turned to him.
"Remus won't put on my Quidditch sweater." Sirius pouted. James' brows furrowed.
"Why do you want him to?"
"We're dating, and he'd look bloody adorable with it on! I mean, with our size difference it'll hang off him, right? Don't you think that'd be cute?" James didn't particularly care whether Remus looked cute or not, but the mental image Sirius gave him did make him agree that Remus would look rather adorable in Padfoot's oversized sweater.
"What does the fact that you're dating have anything to do with this?" James asked.
"Well," Sirius looked thoughtful. "In relationships I've seen girls sometimes wear the guy's clothes." Remus threw a throw pillow at Sirius's head.
"I'm not a bloody woman!"
"Oh, I know you're not." Sirius wiggled his eyebrows. This comment had Remus, as well as other occupants in the common room, blushing furiously.
"You're such a pervert, Pads." Remus said exasperation in his tone. Sirius smiled at him upside-down from his position on the floor.
"You love me though." Remus smiled back despite himself. Sirius then gave him the puppy dog look. His grey eyes widening slightly while his mouth turned up into a pout. To top it all off he pulled his hands up to his chest and curled them into mock paws. Remus could never resist that face and Sirius knew it. Remus stared at him for moment before sighing.
"Fine, go get your bloody sweater." He grumbled. Sirius whooped and shot up from the floor. Remus's eyes softened when Sirius gave him a kiss on the cheek before running up to their dormitory. His amber eyes followed him until he was out of sight. He then glanced at James who was smiling at him.
"What?" He asked.
"You've got it bad, you know." There were murmurs and nods of agreement from around the room. Remus's gaze lingered back to the stairs leading to the boy's dormitory.
"I suppose." He replied.
Not long after that Sirius came bounding back down the stairs, a Gryffindor Quidditch sweater in his clutches. He shoved the garment into Remus's waiting hands. Sirius bounced excitedly as Remus pulled the material over his head and slid his arms through the large sleeves. The sweater went down to about mid-thigh and the sleeves went over his hands by a couple of inches. To make things better (or worse…?) his tawny blonde hair was adorably ruffled from it rubbing over his head. It hung off his small frame and overall, he looked rather comfortable in it. Sirius, along with several girls, swooned at the sight of him.
"You're so cute!" Sirius squealed in an undignified fashion. Remus inspected the garment he was wearing and brought the too-long sleeves up to his face. Remus smiled.
"It smells like you." Sirius smiled softly in return. "You know, I could get used to this." Remus said as Sirius brought him into an embrace from behind. Sirius buried his nose into his boyfriends shoulder.
"So could I." He replied. The rest of the day was spent with Remus curled up in Sirius's arms on the common room couch, all the while wearing his Gryffindor Quidditch sweater.
