Huff, Puff, And Blow You Away

The Inevitable
Seras woke slowly, feeling weak as a kitten and completely out of sorts. Something felt wrong in her head, as though she were forgetting something important. Something life changing. Something…
She moaned as her throat burned, and her teeth ached, she felt so terribly thirsty.
Something warm and smooth brushed her lips and without knowing why, she bit it, swallowing the liquid it provided greedily. Salty, tangy, yet somehow sweet and soothing, she fell quickly back into a dead sleep when her stomach was filled.
Seras moaned in discomfort as she woke slowly, her bed was moving and stiff. Opening her eyes slowly, she hissed as the light blinded her, even obscured by the leaves of the trees overhead, it still burned like the flash of those camera boxes. The arm around her waist tightened, pulling her closer to the hard chest she was nestled against, and she realized a moment later that she was riding double on a horse as it neighed and picked up the pace.
"Awake at last," a masculine voice purred, and with a jolt she realized she knew this voice. It was… it was…
"Master," she murmured, trying to stretch the cramps out of her sore muscles without winding up in the dirt, "where are we going?"
"I've an old acquaintance I wish you to meet, fledgling."
"Oh," Seras hummed, lulled by the security of being in her Sire's arms, "I feel a little hungry," she confessed a moment later, and he chuckled darkly.
"We'll stop soon, but not yet, the horse cannot travel well once the moon hides behind her clouds."
Oh, that made sense. Seras nodded sleepily and burrowed back into the warm of her Master.
Wait… the moon? Wasn't it daylight?
She must be mistaken, of course it was night. Why would she think otherwise?
Shrugging uncomfortably, the fledgling took refuge from her confusing thoughts in sleep.
"We're here," her Master's voice rumbled, rousing her and she yawned sleepily, obediently straightening up and sliding from the saddle into the waiting arms where she gained a bit more of her senses back once on steady ground. This place seemed oddly familiar, as though she had seen it in a dream. Clutching her Sire's hand like a child, the diminutive red cloaked blonde followed in his footsteps trustingly.
The pair were walking for only a minute through the moonlit street when a door was flung open and a longed haired silhouette spilled onto their path.
"Alucard!" A feminine voice shouted, and Seras looked up startled, knowing instinctively that the speaker referred to her Sire. The pretty blonde woman gasped as she locked gazes with Seras, who smiled prettily, exposing her tiny fangs that complimented her cherry red irises. "Hullo. Are you the one my Master spoke about?"
"Seras…" The woman stuttered, face pale, and for the first time the girl noticed her eye patch, and she crinkled her brow as something niggled at the back of her mind. "Don't you know me?"
Seras looked up at Alucard inquiringly, "Should I know her, Master? Have I met your friend before? She knows my name, after all."
Alucard began to laugh.
Ketti:And that's how it ends! You can feel free to draw your own conclusions, so long as they are heavily laced with theories of mind control. *wink wink, nudge nudge*
I know, you're probably thinking "it took you a year, and we don't even get a measly 10k cluster?!" well, in my defense...
