FADE IN:
INT. OFFICE ROOM
We see a desk with a computer and office supplies. Camera ZOOMS IN slowly on the computer while an off-camera NARRATOR begins dialogue.
NARRATOR
How many of you know how tell a story? Many stories have been told from books. Other stories would be told from one's imagination.
(beat)
But, the story that you're about to hear...is about a world beyond the eye could see. It is a world unimaginable. A world made of...
Camera ZOOMS IN through the computer screen and we see a black space with millions of binary code scattering.
NARRATOR
...data. Through the age of technology, computers and networks have been connected across the globe and the data around it created a world parallel to reality. This world is known as...
Camera ZOOMS IN through the binary code. We then see a planet, with an appearance resembling Earth, rotating in the void of space.
NARRATOR
...The Digital World. A world inhabited by creatures made from data. I know what you're all thinking right now: "These creatures can't be real. They're make-believe characters we see in video games" They maybe made from data, but they grow to develop emotion like humans. These creatures are known as "Digimon". Short word for "digital monsters".
We then see ancient text and writing scrolling through the screen.
NARRATOR
The Digital World has many stories about the Digimon and the world itself. One famous tale involves a group of human children chosen to protect the Digital World from impending darkness. Each chose a Digimon partner and bonded through values of life and friendship. As their bonds grew stronger, so did their energy. It would allow the Digimon to "digivolve" into stronger beings and defend their world from evil at any cost.
Camera PULLS AWAY as we see six dimensional spaces, drifting apart from each other.
NARRATOR
Through the boundaries of time and space, each universe shares a story between Digimon and humans. Their bond would eventually overcome the darkest of all threats and become legendary heroes at the end. For the past fifteen years, these stories continue to be told to future generations as peace and harmony restore at a constant pace.
FADE OUT.
NARRATOR
However, what happens if six of these legends have suddenly...intertwined?
(beat)
This is where our new story begins...
FADE IN:
INT. ? - THRONE ROOM
We see a giant silhouette sitting in his throne, in the shadows of the room.
?
These worlds...are meaningless.
In the character's perspective, we see a crystal orb, in the center of the room, projecting a map of the six dimensional spaces.
? (O.S.)
They suffer from the same darkness lurking within their worlds.
The silhouette clenches his fist.
?
Darkness...always had the upper hand and...its deepest secrets.
(pause)
Yet...the soul of light, even the dimmest glimmer, would eventually triumph and sending darkness from whence it came!
The silhouette slams his fist on the throne chair arm.
?
(pause; sighs)
But now...the wait is over. A new era is about to begin.
In the background, we hear a deep and monstrous GROWL.
?
Patience, my friend. Our time of vengeance is yet to come. As for the rest of you...
In the throne room, we then see numerous silhouettes appearing from the shadows of the room behind the crystal orb.
? (O.S.)
It is time to strike.
ANGLE: SILHOUETTE
?
(chuckles)
Once we erase everything among this pitiful worlds...
The silhouette's left eye glows red.
?
...the D5 shall be reborn.
