So here it is. The final chapter. I take back my previous declaration of best chapter ever from a previous chapter and bestowing that title to this one. That is, in my opinion. Your mileage may vary. But anyway, let the awesomeness flow.

Flash-forward five to six years, the year is 2012. Yaya was now an entering college junior in an arts college while Tsubomi recently passed her entrance exam for the same college. The younger girl chose Musicology as her course, which coincidentally was the course of her girlfriend.

Yaya and Tsubomi's relationship kept on going even after Yaya had graduated from Spica in 2010. How you ask? Well, shortly after Yaya graduated, the two agreed that almost every weekend and/or holiday, they would see each other. Despite busy schedules and time constraints, they remained loyal to one another nonetheless. At last, after two years of that, they've decided to move in together after Tsubomi passed her exam. Right now, Yaya was bringing a blindfolded Tsubomi upstairs to their new apartment.

"Yaya, is it really necessary for me to put on a blindfold for this? I can't see a freaking thing!" Tsubomi complained.

"That's the whole point, babe. I want you to be surprised when you finally see it. Sure, we need to unpack a few more boxes; but we'll be done with that in no time. And trust me, you're going to love it." Yaya assured.

"Sigh. Very well. I trust your judgment."

A few minutes later, they finally reached the door. The older girl slowly opened it.

"Okay, Tsubomi. You can take off the blindfold now."

Tsubomi did and her jaw dropped the moment she saw the place. There was an open kitchen with a dining table, a living room with couches, gaming systems, and a big flat-screen TV, and a computer near a balcony with a glass door.

"OM effin' G! This is where we're going to live?" Tsubomi excitedly asked.

"Yup." Yaya nodded.

"But…but how did you get all this stuff?"

"My brother gave me the stuff that used to be in his home theater so he could convert that room into a nursery for his new son."

"Awesome. Was it okay with Ayumu-san, though?"

"Of course it was. Onii-chan adores his baby so much, it doesn't really matter to him."

"How sweet of your brother to just give you his stuff."

"It is. Sure, he was kind of an asshole when we growing up. Giving me noogies and cutting off my dolls' heads, but he got better when he met his wife in college. He became so polite and reserved, I wasn't even sure if he was really my brother."

"Weird."

"I know." Yaya answered. "So you want to check out our bedroom?"

"Huh? 'Our' bedroom?" Tsubomi said with an inflection in her speech.

"Well, duh! We've been together for almost six years; I think we'd be used to sleeping in the same room by now." Yaya snarked.

"I know that! I'm just happy about us actually sharing a room we can call ours."

"Another upside to that is that I don't have to sneak out to sleep with you."

They both laughed and headed over to the bedroom. This room had a large bed with a TV and DVD player in front of it, a closet, and its own bathroom.

"That is one big bed." The pink-haired girl noticed.

"Indeed it is. Perfect for sleeping, eating, building forts… "

Then Yaya whispered into Tsubomi's ear. "…and sex."

Even just mentioning the word "sex" was enough to make Tsubomi's body go weak. Yaya used this to her advantage and pushed Tsubomi down to the large bed. Tsubomi realized what just happened and started to blush heavily. She firmly grasped Yaya's hands.

"Baka! Are you constantly horny?" Tsubomi ranted, pretending not to like what Yaya was doing.

"Oh, please. Girls are just as lecherous and perverted as guys. Maybe even more."

"You have a point there…but doesn't mean I'm going to fall for it!"

"You know that the more you say you don't want to, the harder you blush. That means you want to even more."

"That's not true! That's all in your head!" Tsubomi protested.

"Haha. You're still the same as you were six years ago. Little tsundere Tsubomi. You always act so tough, but whenever I touch you, you turn into an adorable ball of fluff. I love you so damn much, Tsubomi."

Realizing there was nothing she could do to stop this, Tsubomi released her grip, wrapped her arms around Yaya and kissed her.

"I love you too, you idiot."

Soon after making love, a naked Tsubomi was snuggling an equally naked Yaya when the latter's iPhone began ringing.

"Siri, take a message. I'm busy." Yaya said to her phone.

"I think you're supposed to pick it up, Yaya." Tsubomi responded.

"Oops. Sorry, I'm still getting used to it."

The raven-haired girl picked up her phone and answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Yaya-chan! It's Hikari." said the voice on the other end.

"Oh hey, what's up?"

"Aren't you forgetting? There's band practice today and discussion of the set list for the college music festival."

Suddenly remembering, Yaya got up from the bed.

"Oh shit, I totally forgot! Thanks for reminding me."

"You're welcome. And of course I have to, Yaya-chan. As your best friend and manager of Children of Lugia, I feel that it's my duty to—"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I got it. Don't worry, I'll be there as soon as possible." answered Yaya as she was dressing up and hung up the phone.

"Where are you going, sweetie?" asked Tsubomi.

"I have to go to Hikari's place. The band and I have to discuss our set list for the college music festival in two weeks. Plus, we need to practice."

"Really? Children of Lugia got chosen to perform?"

"Of course. Isn't that great?"

"Great? That's awesome, Yaya! I can't wait to see you perform!" said Tsubomi, showing off her rarely seen fangirl side.

"What are you talking about? You've seen us perform before."

"Yes, but not on an actual stage! You guys are going to kick the asses of the other bands out there!"

"Wow, you're certainly the band's number one fan, aren't you?" teased Yaya as she had just finished dressing up.

"Hell yeah, I am. And the best part is I get to sleep with the vocalist after the show."

Yaya laughed and kissed Tsubomi's forehead.

"I'll see you later, beautiful. Love you."

"Love you, too."

Luckily, Hikari's flat wasn't very far from hers, so Yaya didn't have much trouble going there. She knocked on the door and Hikari answered.

"Sorry I'm late, Hikari. I had to show Tsubomi the new apartment." Yaya apologized.

"That's okay, Yaya-chan. Does she like it?"

"She absolutely loves it! And we already did it on the new bed as well."

"Wow, that's…nice." Hikari awkwardly giggled with a big sweat drop falling from her head.

"Where's Amane?"

"She's in the bedroom watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic."

We take a peek over to Amane and Hikari's room where Amane was watching the show.

"No, Twilight Sparkle! Don't go alone into the Everfree Forest! Take the rest of the Mane Six with you!"

Apparently, this is how Amane acts when she's alone, especially when watching ponies. Now let's go back to Hikari and Yaya.

"She knows that show's for kids, right?"

"Hey, I watch it too. And I know you do, too."

"Sigh. It's a guilty pleasure, just like Abba and The Bee Gees. Can I come in now, please?"

"Of course. Have a seat."

When Yaya sat down on the couch, one of her bandmates, Homare Mikazuki, was furrowing his eyebrows and had a poker face.

Homare was a tall, dark, and handsome guy who had a punk/emo image. He had a helix piercing on his left ear and wore guyliner. Although he looks tough, he's actually quite reserved and acts like the team dad. He also happens to be Yaya's closest male friend, since he was the first straight guy not to hit on her and thus, became like surrogate siblings to each other.

"Well, look who finally showed up." Homare snarked.

"Give me a break, Homare. I was showing my girlfriend the new apartment and frankly, we decided to quote unquote 'break it in'."

"Oh. If that's the case, you're excused. But we're still going to need you to help approve the songs."

"Noted. Have Masamune and Juuichi decided what songs to play yet?" asked Yaya as she looked at her other two bandmates.

Masamune Ugetsu is a young man with bright yellow hair with red streaks that looked similar to fire. For some strange reason, his eyes always appear closed, though it looks like he still has the ability to see. He's openly gay and appears to have affections for Juuichi.

The other guy, Juuichi Iori, has reddish-orange hair, freckles, and purple horn-rimmed glasses. He also has an uke-like build which the rest of the band would make fun of, especially Masamune. He is also gay, but is still in the closet or at least, halfway out. Unbeknownst to Masamune, he returns his feelings.

"Here's the set list, Yaya." Masamune said as he handed the paper over.

"Thank you, Masamune. Let's see…"

The list read:

Young Blood – The Naked and Famous

How to Save a Life – The Fray

Call Me Maybe – Carly Rae Jepsen

Paralyzer – Finger Eleven

The Man Who Can't Be Moved – The Script

"Um, I don't think we should sing 'How to Save a Life'. The song is…kind of depressing." suggested Yaya.

"What can we replace it with, Yaya?" asked Juuichi.

"I guess we should sing 'I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance With You. That should pump the audience up."

"All in favor?" questioned Hikari.

The rest of the band raised their hands.

"All right then. 'I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance With You' it is." Hikari stated as she wrote it on the list after erasing "How to Save a Life".

"Also, 'Call Me Maybe', huh?" Yaya added. "Who wrote that down?"

Masamune awkwardly raised his hand and a big sweat drop fell.

"It was I. I wrote that down." Masamune confessed.

"The ultimate guilty pleasure song. Good choice, Masamune." Yaya complemented the surprised blonde man.

"Um, okay." the blond man replied, still confused.

"But there's one condition…" Yaya teased.

"Oh fuck, this can't be good." Masamune gulped.

"…You're going to have to sing it with me whilst wearing a sparkly turquoise tuxedo."

Hikari, Homare, and Juuichi pictured in a thought bubble; Masamune in a sparkly turquoise tuxedo. Then they burst out laughing. This angered Masamune.

"Come on, Yaya! Yes I'm gay, but I'm not that gay! Why can't you make Homare or Juuichi do it? Homare's the secondary vocalist and Juuichi's the uke of the band!" the blond man protested.

"There's no way I'll provide backing vocals for that song." Homare said in a brutally honest manner.

"And why are you dragging me into this? And stop calling me an uke!" yelled Juuichi.

Masamune begged. "Please don't make me do this, Yaya!"

"You're the one who suggested the song, so you're the one performing in it. Not Emo Boy or Hipster Uke." Yaya said bluntly.

"Okay, okay. I'll wear the tux."

"Good."

"Hey, I am not a hipster or an uke!" protested the orange-haired man.

"With your build and your glasses, it's very easy to label you as one, Juuichi." Yaya snarked, irritating Juuichi further.

"You're a sociopath, you know that?" Homare said to Yaya.

"Yes and don't you forget it." she replied. Homare just rolled his eyes.

Hikari just laughed awkwardly and a big sweat drop fell from her head.

"Well, if that's what the plan is, I don't think I disagree. At least it will leave an impression on the audience."

After set list finalizing, there was band practice that lasted until 6:30 p.m.; since Yaya wanted to come back to Tsubomi as soon as possible.

"Gosh, it's only been a few hours I've been away from her and I miss her a lot. I can't wait to get home."

When Yaya reached her door, a delicious aroma reached her nose.

"Do I smell pasta?"

The black-haired girl opened the door to find Tsubomi in an apron making pasta.

"Tsubomi?"

This startled Tsubomi and she turned around to see her girlfriend.

"Yaya! You're home! How was band practice?"

"Of course I'm home. Band practice was very productive, thanks for asking. What are you doing?"

"Well, I went out for a while to shop for some snacks and I thought 'It's been a while since I had a romantic dinner with Yaya, so why not?' Because you know, I like making you happy and you like it when I cook and 'cause I love you or something…" Tsubomi answered, blushing heavily. Yaya fawned over Tsubomi's answer and lovingly ruffled her hair.

"Tsubomi, you have to stop unknowingly seducing me. It's poisonous."

"What? I-I'm not trying to seduce you!"

"Yeah, right."

Tsubomi scoffed. "Baka…"

"So what else did you make?"

"There's garlic bread with cheese, bacon-wrapped shrimp, and there's brownies in the oven."

"Ooh, promise you'll save me the end pieces?"

"I'm using a specialized brownie pan that makes all of the pieces the end pieces."

"No way, that's impossible!"

"Yuh-huh, it's possible! It even works for lasagna."

"I guess I'll take your word for it."

Soon after, Tsubomi and Yaya set up the table. They both sat down across each other and started eating.

"So, how is it, Yaya? Good?"

"Good? It's delicious! I always knew you were a better cook than I am."

"In a way, yes. Remember the first time we had dinner with your family six years ago and you volunteered to cook?" Tsubomi reminisced.

Flashback begins.

"Sorry, everybody. Looks like dinner is a bust." Yaya apologized as she came out of the kitchen.

"What happened, Yaya?" asked her father, Atsushi.

"Yes dear, what happened?" followed Yaya's mother, Shika.

"I overspiced the tuna, spilled the sauce, and somehow, I burnt the water I was supposed to boil the noodles in." Yaya replied with a shamed look on her face.

"You actually managed to burn water?" questioned Ayumu with a big sweat drop falling from his head.

"I didn't even know that was possible." added Tsubomi, sporting an equally large sweat drop.

"I'll order some pizza." stated Atsushi as he picked up his phone.

Flashback finished.

"Six years ago and you still haven't forgotten that?"

"Hey, it was part of a significant milestone in our relationship; when it was your turn to tell your family about us."

Flashback (again)

"So, Tsubomi, how do you know my daughter?" Shika interrogated.

"Um, well… she's my upperclassman." Tsubomi answered.

"How nice. You seem quite close." smiled the woman.

"Tsubomi and I are closer than you think, Mom." Yaya added.

"Whatever do you mean, dear?"

"We're lovers." Yaya simply answered.

This revelation took Yaya's family by surprise. They also apparently seemed to have temporarily lost their color.

"So…you're a lesbian, Yaya?" Atsushi questioned.

"Yes, Dad. I am."

"Huh. Okay…" he answered when he, along with his wife and son, suddenly regained color.

Afterwards, there was an awkward silence. Yaya was clearly shaking and holding Tsubomi's hand tightly, fearing for a reaction. The two girls started to communicate telepathically; which they've slowly mastered some time ago.

"They look surprising calm. Why aren't they saying anything? I thought you said they would freak out, Yaya."

"Well yeah, I thought so too. Wait; hold on. I don't think my family and I have touched on the topic of homosexuality that often, so whether or not they're really going to freak out is out of my knowledge. But I'm still afraid they won't approve."

"Hey, whatever happens, I'm not leaving your side. I just hope I won't have to beat up a childhood friend of yours." Tsubomi reassured.

"Thank you. And don't worry, I don't have any childhood friends who are anything like Frostbitch."

"You mean Kazuki."

"Yeah, but I call him Frostbitch now, since his hair looks like ice and…he's a bitch."

"Ooh, clever."

After that, Atsushi stood up and for some strange reason, patted Tsubomi on the head. Tsubomi was quite confused, but not unhappy.

"Well, just by the way you look at one another, your girlfriend looks like she loves you very much." the man said.

"Well I do. A whole lot." Tsubomi happily responded, which made Yaya smile.

"That's very sweet of you, Tsubomi. I know you'll take care of my daughter" Shika said.

"Yeah. Also, neither of you will get pregnant when you two do it!" laughed Ayumu until Yaya kicked him in the shin and he fell to the floor.

Flashback finished

"I don't think I had trouble fitting in with your family at all." Tsubomi continued.

"Yeah, after the whole relationship reveal, they were basically treating you like a daughter-in-law and smothering you." Yaya replied.

"I feel kind of guilty about that…"

"Huh? How come?"

"It doesn't seem fair that it took time for my family to accept you and you got hurt, but it took yours almost immediately to accept me." Tsubomi said in a rather melancholy tone, which worried Yaya.

"Hey, it's not your fault. All families are different anyway. Mine just happens to be quite liberal, while yours tends to be on the conservative side or at least a little less liberal than mine."

"I guess you have a point. My family is kind of conservative in a way."

"And besides, I'm grateful for the fact that your parents made you for me to love."

"And your parents made you for me to love. I'm just as grateful as you are."

They both gave each other a loving grin and held hands across the table.

"I love you, Tsubomi."

"I love you too, Yaya."

Soon after, they had finished eating, cleaned up, took a shower together, and went to bed.

"This is so exciting. Spending my first night in this very apartment with you." Yaya smiled.

"I know. It's like we're newlyweds or something…" Tsubomi said as she blushed.

Yaya smirked as she cuddled up closer and hugged Tsubomi from behind.

"Damn you. You keep saying things like that and I might just die right here." she naughtily whispered.

"Quit exaggerating! You're the most lively person I know, so you can't die easily."

"True, but the point is you're the only person I can be this intimate with. There's no one else I want to do this with."

Tsubomi's whole body turned pink and started to perspire. Though it seemed like they were about to do it, Yaya just kissed her and bid her goodnight.

"Goodnight, my love."

"Goodnight."

A fortnight later, the college music festival had begun. It was in a big open field full of booths selling food and merchandise. People from many different subcultures were there. There were hipsters, goths, gals, punks, visual kei, regular joes and the like.

"Wow, this event has a lot of diversity, that's for sure." Tsubomi said as she looked around.

"Well, the college music festival is not just for playing music. It's also a celebration of people from all walks of life." Yaya explained.

"I see what you mean. Pretty awesome if you think about it. So, when's your band going to start playing?"

"Pretty soon, I hope. I'm very psyched and apprehensive at the same time."

"Come on, Yaya. I know Children of Lugia is going to kill it! Don't stop believing! Keep your head up! You will survive!" Tsubomi asserted as she was pointing with her index finger.

A big sweat drop fell from Yaya's head. "You just blurted out some song titles, you know that?"

"Well…you come up with better metaphors! Those are just some that came from the top of my head…" Tsubomi defended as she blushed.

"They're perfectly fine metaphors. In fact, I feel less nervous now, so thank you."

"Really? You're welcome, I'm glad I could help."

Yaya kissed the younger girl's cheek. "I've gotta go change now. I'll see you later."

Tsubomi nodded and wished her good luck. Just then, someone tapped her shoulder.

"Yes?"

She turned around to see some familiar faces. They were her old campus-mates from her days at Astrea; Chiyo, Kagome, Remon, Kizuna, and Chikaru.

"Whoa. Guys, I can't believe you're here!" Tsubomi excitedly said as she saw them.

"Of course we would be here, Tsubomi-chan. Once you tweeted that your sweetheart's band was going to perform, we couldn't not come to support them with you." said Chikaru as she was holding her phone, showing said tweet.

"Yeah, and once we each heard their music on their website, we wanted to come even more." Chiyo added.

"Hai, Percival thinks they're very good." Kagome said as she looked to her bear.

"Well, thank you all for coming here today. I'm definitely sure Yaya will appreciate the extra support." Tsubomi said. Then for some reason, she was looking around them to find a certain someone who was supposed to be with Chikaru.

"Where's Tomori-san?"

"Oh, Shion decided to hitch a ride in Rokujo-san's car along with Shizuma, Nagisa-chan, and Tamao-chan."

Pan over to a highway where the aforementioned girls were stuck in traffic.

"The traffic flow is extremely terrible. You should have let me drive." Shion snarked.

"Well, if you had gone with your girlfriend instead, we wouldn't be in this predicament." Miyuki snarked back to her.

"I told you, there wasn't enough room in her car."

"You're really pushing it…"

"Um, honey? Is it okay if I play some Arcade Fire in the car, just to ease the atmosphere?" Tamao asked Miyuki.

"Yes please, Tamao. I need something to calm me down before I blow my top over Tomori's snarky comments."

"I can hear you, y'know." Shion said.

"I know you can hear me." Miyuki snapped back.

"The atmosphere in the car is very unsettling." Nagisa addressed.

"Don't worry, Nagisa. Just a few more miles and we're there." Shizuma assured.

Then pan back over to the open field where Tsubomi was still chatting away with her friends.

"So how's life as a college student, Tsubomi-chan? I know what it feels like, but I'd like to know your feelings about it." Chikaru asked.

"Well, it's kind of different from high school. More work, more strict teachers, and going from class to class. Sigh, it's a hard-knock life."

"Don't exhaust yourself too much, Tsubomi-chan. I've been there. I remember when I was a college freshman. There was this one time that I had to finish a very long biology project, so I kept myself awake for three days straight after drinking seven cans of Red Bull. Then as soon as I passed my project, I had a sugar crash and fell asleep at my desk."

"I guess Red Bull doesn't give you wings at all, Chikaru-sama." giggled Kizuna.

"Yeah, the commercial misled you." Remon followed up.

"Oh well, the sleepless nights were worth it. I got the highest score that time." smiled Chikaru.

Meanwhile, Yaya was backstage with her bandmates and Hikari as they were fixing themselves and practicing for tonight's big show. Amane was there as well, assisting Hikari a bit.

"All right, does everyone have their instruments?" Hikari asked the band.

"Yes." said the entire band as they were holding their instruments.

"Check." Hikari said as she checked her list.

"Do I really have to wear this?" questioned Masamune as he was wearing the humiliating tux.

"You always said you wanted to be known for something, Masamune." Yaya smirked.

"Hikari, why aren't you putting a stop to this?" The flaming-haired man complained to the band manager.

"Well, to be honest, you look kind of fabulous in it." Hikari laughed.

"Thank you, I— Hey!" Masamune growled as everyone laughed at him. Suddenly, Yaya received a text from Tsubomi.

I know you're going to kick ass and do great. I love you. 3

Immediately after reading the text, Yaya had a big dorky smile across her face.

"Got a text from your girlfriend?" Homare teased.

"Yeah. Getting simple texts like this is one of the best parts of having a girlfriend." Yaya said, accidentally upsetting Homare, who recently broke up with his girlfriend.

"Whoops. Sorry."

"It's okay, Yaya. It was just a little trigger."

"Well, she didn't deserve you anyway. You gave all of yourself to her and she fucked around with someone else. "

"And even after that, I still loved her. I was an idiot."

"Hey, you're going to find to someone you love just as much as I love Tsubomi and she will be out there. As your friend and bandmate, it's my obligation to make you see that you'll make some girl really happy."

This tiny speech cheered up Homare and he gave a lopsided smile.

"Thanks, Yaya. That really cheered me up."

"You're welcome. Now quit wallowing and pick up your bass. It's almost show-time." she smirked. Homare was a little annoyed, but it was all in good fun.

Finally, the show was to begin. The people who were stuck in traffic were able to make it just minutes before the band went on stage.

"Sorry I'm late, Chikaru. We would've gotten here faster if it weren't for Rokujo's driving." apologized Shion as she gave her girlfriend a quick kiss.

"It's quite all right. The important thing is that everyone's here." Chikaru smiled.

"What did she say about my driving?" said Miyuki as she looked liked she wanted to attack Shion.

"Looks like it's hug therapy time." said Tamao as she hugged her girlfriend before she would do anything drastic. Needless to say, this effectively calmed Miyuki down.

"Hey guys! It's starting!" Tsubomi called the attention of the others as soon as the lights on stage began to flash and the fog machine went off. When smoke had cleared, the members of Children of Lugia showed up. Tsubomi's eyes were totally locked on her lover, wearing an open red band jacket with the sleeves ripped off, a black necktie, skinny jeans, black boots and holding a lightning bolt-shaped electric guitar.

No longer wanting to make the audience wait, the raven-haired girl stepped up to the microphone as the band played the first few bars of "Young Blood".

Yaya:

We're only young and naive still

We require certain skills

The mood it changes like the wind

Hard to control when it begins

The bittersweet between my teeth

Trying to find the in-betweens

Fall back in love eventually

Yeah yeah yeah yeah

Can't help myself but count the flaws

Claw my way out through these walls

One temporary escape

Feel it start to permeate

We lie beneath the stars at night

Our hands gripping each other tight

You keep my secrets hope to die

Promises, swear them to the sky

The bittersweet between my teeth

Trying to find the in-betweens

Fall back in love eventually

Yeah yeah yeah yeah

Homare:

As it withers

Brittle it shakes

Can you whisper

As it crumbles and breaks

As you shiver

Count up all your mistakes

Pair of forgivers

Let go before it's too late

Can you whisper

Can you whisper

Can you whisper

Can you whisper

Yaya:

The bittersweet between my teeth

Trying to find the in-betweens

Fall back in love eventually

Yeah yeah yeah yeah

The bittersweet between my teeth

Trying to find the in-betweens

Fall back in love eventually

Yeah yeah yeah yeah

As soon as the song had finished, the entire audience applauded and some people were even screaming. When the noise died down, the band went on to play the next song. Tsubomi continued to listen and couldn't take her eyes off Yaya; there was no denying that the younger girl was happy to see her beloved perform.

…Word's on the streets and it's on the news:

I'm not gonna teach him how to dance with you

He's got two left feet and he bites my moves

I'm not gonna teach him how to dance, dance, dance, dance!...

Then it was "Call Me Maybe", featuring Masamune in that embarrassing tux. It was awkward at first, but soon it wasn't long until it was an understatement that Masamune was having a fabulous time on stage.

…Hey I just met you

And this is crazy

But here's my number

So call me maybe

It's hard to look right at you baby

But here's my number

So call me maybe…

Next, it was "Paralyzer".

…Well I'm not paralyzed

But, I seem to be struck by you

I want to make you move

Because you're standing still

If your body matches

What your eyes can do

You'll probably move right through

Me on my way to you…

And for the finale, "The Man Who Can't Be Moved".

…'Cause if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me

And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be

Thinking maybe you'll come back here to the place that we meet

Oh, you see me waiting for you on a corner of the street

So I'm not moving ('Cause if one day you wake up, find that you're missing me)

I'm not moving (And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be)

I'm not moving (Thinking maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet)

I'm not moving (Oh, you see me waiting for you on a corner of the street)

Going back to the corner where I first saw you

Gonna camp in my sleeping bag, I'm not gonna move

As the final chord was struck, the cheering was so loud it was nearly deafening. When it seemed like the song they just played would be their finale, the audience wanted them to do one more song.

"One more song! One more song!" the crowd roared, the former Astrea girls included.

"Hikari! What should we do?" Yaya asked as she and the rest of the band briefly walked up to Hikari.

"Go for it! Use song codename TC5-JTG!" Hikari responded.

"TC5-JTG?"

"You know, that song that you said describes your relationship with Tsubomi near perfectly?"

A sudden flash of memory appears in Yaya's head.

"Oh right, I remember now. But are you sure about that? Is it okay with the other bands?"

Hikari turned around to the next band, whereas the vocalist nodded, no questions. The blonde girl gave a thumbs-ups, meaning there's room for one more song.

The band put their game faces on and walked back on stage. Yaya picked up the microphone to confirm the encore.

"Since you've been such a great audience tonight, we're giving you guys one more song! But it's not just any song! This song goes out to the love of my life, Tsubomi Okuwaka!"

The spotlight shined on the pink-haired girl, frozen stiff and with a full body blush.

"Hit it, guys!"

She's cold and she's cruel

But she knows what she's doin'

She pushed me in the pool

At our last school reunion

She laughs at my dreams

But I dream about her laughter

Strange as it seems

She's the one I'm after

Cause she's bittersweet

She knocks me off of my feet

And I can't help myself

I don't want anyone else

She's a mystery

She's too much for me But I keep comin' back for more

She's just the girl I'm lookin' for

She can't keep a secret For more than an hour

She runs on 100 proof attitude power

And the more she ignores me

The more I adore her What can I do?

I'd do anything for her

Cause she's bittersweet

She knocks me off of my feet

And I can't help myself

I don't want anyone else

She's a mystery

She's too much for me

But I keep comin' back for more

She's just the girl I'm lookin' for

The way she sees it's me

On her caller ID

She won't pick up the phone

She'd rather be alone

But I can't give up just yet

Cause every word she's ever said

Is still ringin' in my head

Still ringin' in my head

She's cold and she's cruel

But she knows what she's doin'

Knows just what to say

So my whole day is ruined

Cause she's bittersweet

She knocks me off of my feet

And I can't help myself

I don't want anyone else

She's a mystery

She's too much for me

But I keep comin' back for more

Cause she's bittersweet

She knocks me off of my feet

And I can't help myself

I don't want anyone else

She's a mystery

She's too much for me

But I keep comin' back for more

Oh, I keep comin' back for more

She's just the girl I'm lookin' for

Just the girl I'm lookin' for

I'm lookin' for

I'm lookin' for

I'm lookin' for

Just the girl I'm lookin' for

As soon as the band ended the song, Yaya tried to spot her girlfriend in the audience, but she wasn't there. She was disappointed until Homare tapped her shoulder and pointed to the right. There stood Tsubomi, slowly walking up to the older girl. Yaya was visibly surprised yet undeniably happy.

When Tsubomi stood face-to-face with her lover, she leaned in until her lips touched Yaya's. Without a moment's hesitation, Yaya reciprocated the kiss.

After kissing for nearly a minute, they turned to see the audience cheering louder than before. The two girls looked at one another and held each other's hands as the band took their bows and went backstage.

"Holy shit. I cannot believe I just did that." Tsubomi said as she looked at Yaya, blushing.

"Me neither. On the plus side, we got a lot of attention. And that was the best kiss I've ever gotten from you." Yaya answered as she ruffled Tsubomi's hair.

"I-it was?"

"Of course! That kiss from you is worth more than all the applause out there. In other words, if I've made the one person I truly love happy, then I know that I've done something awesome and worth noticing."

"Everything you do is awesome and worth noticing."

Yaya blushed and kissed Tsubomi's forehead shortly before embracing her lovingly.

Hikari and Amane smiled at this lovely sight. As for the rest of the band, they happily looked on as they saw their lead vocalist at her highest point. Just then, Juuichi grabbed Masamune's hand and held it tightly. The taller boy looked surprised, but grinned at the shorter man.

Homare then received a call out of the blue. It was an unknown number.

"Hello?" the young man said.

"Homare? Is that really you?" a female voice responded. It took less than a second for Homare to figure out that it was the voice of his childhood crush, whom he hasn't seen in years.

"Kotone?"

"I'm so glad you remember me. I know this is very sudden, but I want to see you."

"I would ask you how you got my number; but right now, it's great to hear your voice again." he grinned.

"Yours too. I'm just outside waiting for you."

"I'll be there. Bye."

As soon as Homare hung up the phone, everyone was looking at him.

"What?"

"Good luck!" said everyone else.

Homare was about to say something, but decided to go on his way to meet Kotone.

After the conclusion of the festival, Yaya and Tsubomi headed back to their flat. Yaya lit up some candles and Tsubomi put on some romantic music in the stereo. They then held each other without breaking their gaze until they reached the sofa and sat down. Yaya tucked Tsubomi's hair behind her ears and both of them gently fell back. The older girl put on her lips on the younger girl's. But for some reason, Yaya stopped.

"What's wrong, Yaya?" Tsubomi asked, looking confused.

"Wait here, please."

The raven-haired girl went to the bedroom and obtained a manila envelope. She came back and handed over the envelope to Tsubomi.

"What's this?"

"Open it, Tsubomi."

The younger girl opened and found some travel documents. Tsubomi was quite confused.

"What's this for, Yaya? Are you going somewhere?'"

"We're going somewhere for summer. Overseas."

Tsubomi was in total shock and awe once she heard "overseas".

"Overseas? Us? Together?"

"That's right. I was going to surprise you next weekend, but I figured that this moment was special enough, so I decided to follow it through now." Yaya assured as she ruffled Tsubomi's hair.

"So where exactly are we going?"

"England."

"England? But how could you afford it? It's so expensive."

"I was able to save some money and I got a part-time job for a while. And just last week, I was able to book our flight for the summer."

"You did this all…for me?"

"Well, throughout high school, you always said you wanted us to travel the world together. And I figured that it would be a start. After all, we're young, so we've got all the time in the world to go anywhere. Only you could make me work this hard. And it's totally worth."

Yaya looked up to see Tsubomi, overwhelmed with emotion, was crying like toddler.

"What's with the crying?" Yaya questioned as a sweat drop fell from her head.

"Damn you, baka! Why must you be the perfect girlfriend? You always give and give; yet I never find a way to reciprocate it equally! Why must it be so freaking difficult? I feel so selfish!" Tsubomi loudly answered as she was wiping tears from her eyes. Yaya just simply grabbed her and hugged her.

"It's doesn't have to be difficult, Tsubomi. The only thing I ask in return is…to stay with me forever."

"That's all?"

"That's all. If you do, we'll have everything. We'll be successful, we'll have a big house, we'll have a family; everything you want and beyond that. Our future will be brighter than all the stars in the sky. I promise."

"I'll stay with you forever"

Tsubomi then received a deep, passionate kiss from her girlfriend, sealing the deal. They turned off the music and blew the candles out. Yaya then picked up Tsubomi and carried her bridal-style to the bedroom. When they both reached the bed, they resume their make-out session and slowly began to take each other's clothes off.

"Hey, Yaya?"

"Yes, Tsubomi?"

"I love you and I will forever." she said as she kissed her lover.

"I love you too. And I'm always going to. You're just the girl for me." the taller girl happily responded.

Yaya shut off the lamp as she and Tsubomi began to express their love in the strongest form.
