Hey. Ugh, sorry for the wait. I've been trying to update my other stories as well, and teachers think it's fun to pound their students with homework. Plus, soccer is picking up, I've had student council and interact club things to do, and I have destination imagination almost every day now, plus with work to take home.
But enough with my rambles! Here is the next chapter! I think you'll find it entertaining:) Haha!
Review and Read On!

~Annabeth~
When I woke up the next day I was a little groggy. I lifted my head and looked around.
Where am I? I thought. Then I remembered. I had been rescued. I was home. I was safe.
That is, until I checked the time on my phone. It read 7:50.
I immediately jumped out of bed and pulled my pajamas off. I threw on a grey shirt with a light grew jacket over it. I threw on a pair of yoga pants and threw my hair into a ponytail, which due to my curly hair looked pretty decent. I slipped on a pair of tennis shoes and ran into the kitchen.
Luke, as usual, was flipping blue pancakes. Percy was drowning his in syrup. Letting out a loud huff, I plopped down in the chair next to Percy and glared daggers at them both.
"Why did no one wake me up!" I asked, keeping my voice cool. Percy gave me a confused look?
"Why would you want to wake up?" He asked. I rolled my eyes.
"It's a school day, Seaweed Brain!" Luke stopped flipping the pancakes and looked at me with an eyebrow raised.
"You are not seriously thinking about going to school today?" He said/asked. I gestured to my clothes.
"No, Luke. I just wear normal clothes every morning! Yes, I am going to school! I've missed way to many days! Just think of what this is doing to my average!" I exclaimed. Luke closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Annabeth, I'm sure your teachers understand-"
"No, I'm going to school." I said firmly, almost daring them to challenge me. Percy, who had stayed quiet, laughed and swung an arm around my shoulders.
"Why not. I mea, I think it's better to drive her there. If not she might just walk to school herself."
"Thank you, Percy." I said, pecking his cheek.
Luke sighed, obviously not approving, and grabbed his car keys.
"Fine. Lets go." He said. I smiled and ran off to quickly brush my teeth. I grabbed my bag and followed Percy to the car.
The car ride seemed to fly by. I wasn't sure what to expect. I had butterflies in my stomach, but I was excited to start working again. When I saw that we had pulled up in front of the school, I took a deep breath and put on a smile. We said goodbye to Luke and stepped out of the car. As soon as I slammed the door shut I felt as if the Earth had slowed down. I saw people stop walking and stare at me. People leaned toward their friends and started whispering as if I couldn't hear if they put a hand to the side of their mouths.
Newsflash, that doesn't make it a private conversation.
Percy wrapped his hand in mine and led me up the steps.
"Ignore them." he whispered in my ear. I nodded and led him faster down the hallway.
I hurried at my locker, not really wanting to talk to anyone just yet. I walked into the classroom, and thankfully I was one of the first ones there beside Percy. I took a seat beside him and instantly a pile of papers were smacked down on my desk. I looked up to see Ms. Dodds standing beside me.
"Here is your make-up work. Oh, and welcome back." She said plainly, although she did give me a small smile. I looked at the stack and smiled. At least now I could get caught up. I stuffed the papers into my folder when Percy passed me a note.
Wow, harsh much? -P
I shot him a look.
Hey, at least I won't be far behind.
I past him the note and he read it with a roll of his eyes.
Wise Girl, your still ahead of the rest of us even with the amount of school you missed. -P
I laughed and crumbled the note up as more kids began pouring into the classroom. No one seemed to glance at me, which I was glad for, until Thalia came bursting in.
"Annabeth!" She yelled, making me nearly jump out of my chair. She threw her stuff onto the ground and ran up to me, throwing her arms around me.
"Thalia...your...crushing...me." I gasped. She laughed and let go.
"Don't say you didn't miss me, because I know you did." She said with a smirk. I smirked back.
"Thalia, you know my life is full of sorrow without you." I said, making us both laugh. Thalia went to retrieve her stuff and sat in the desk behind me. Shortly after, the rest of our small gang came in and flashed me big smiles, which I returned. Ms. Dodds smacked her ruler off of her wooden desk and class began.
Huh, Percy was right. I wasn't to far behind. I mean, I wasn't up to my regular standard but I wasn't lost.
Finally it was the last period of the day. I stored my books in my locker and put all of my binders of homework in my bag. Shutting the door, I walked outside to the grass area. The already there, so I took a seat next to Percy. Nico was ranting on about something in his Happy Meal.
"-I mean, it's outrageous! How could they do that to a Happy Meal?" He concluded.
"Nico, what is really outrageous is the fact that you still eat Happy Meals." Katie said. We all laughed as he folded his arms and started pouting.
"Well, looks like little Miss. Know-It-All couldn't stay away. Glad to see your back." Said a voice from behind me. I sighed. Honestly, I was getting about sick of this.
I twisted my neck around to face him.
"What do you want?" I asked. Percy tensed up. Octavian snickered.
"Nothing. I just wanted to see how you were doing." The glint in his eyes tipped me toward the truth.
"Haha, real funny. Now get away from me." I said, turning back around.
"Now, is that anyway to talk to your classmates. Tisk, tisk. I would have thought Jewell would have taught you better than that.
At the sound of my step-mothers name Percy jumped to his feet, but I was faster to it. I drew my fist back and punched the boy straight in his nose with a force I didn't know I had. He fell back onto the ground, blood beginning to spill rapidly.
"Don't talk about her again, do you understand? She is nothing to me and she will never define me. You are just as bad. I'm not afraid of you. You are just some big, dumb jock." I said, kicking his forcefully in the stomach. He coughed and sputtered.
"O-okay! Geez!" He said, standing up and running off back to the school. The Stoll Brothers came up behind me and shook my shoulders.
"That was awesome!" Travis said.
"He ran away like a little baby!" Connor added, laughing so hard he clutched his stomach. I cracked a smile.
"I just hope I don't get suspended." I said. Percy came up and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"If you do, we'll all be behind you to back you up." He said, looking into my eyes.
"Yeah You bet we-" Leo started to stay, before Katie clasped her hand over his mouth.
"Sh!" She hissed. Leo's gave her a confused look before looking back to Percy and Annabeth, a look of realization coming to his face. I smiled and stood on my toes and met Percy's mouth with mine.
From this moment on, I knew everything would be alright.
That's it! The last chapter! I feel really sad now. You guys are the best readers ever and I appreciate you guys hanging in there and reading both of my stories. What was it, a little over a year ago I began writing Cinderella x2? Maybe a little less?
Anyway, I want to say thank you to all of you for taking the time to read my stories. I couldn't ask for better readers. You guys gave so much input to this story and gave some uplifting feedback! Like I have said before, I might have stopped writing this a while ago if it weren't for you guys inspiring me to keep going...and maybe a few threats here and there but lets be hones-t I loved those too!
Thank you guys.
Review one last time? (aw, that's gonna make me cry.)
