Ashi: -Runs up- I'm sorry it took so long to start typing again!

Aschlyn: You really should've started earlier, like- three months ago.

Ashi: I'm sorry, but I can't deny my laziness. -_-|||

Aschlyn: Right...Hisoka, disclaimer?

Hisoka: DeathhunterAshi and GothicT2 do not own Yami no Matsuei, but they do own Amaya Black and Izanami.

Ashi: Right, now on with this story! Oh yeah, this chapter was inspired by the song "Time of Dying" By Three Days Grace!

Chapter 7 Captivity (Izanami)

(Izanami's POV)

I stir out of my deep slumber, abruptly feeling cool solidness around my wrists and ankles. I fear to open my eyes, afraid that I won't find myself on Hisoka's bed. He offered it to me last night, because I had been looking for Amaya all night. Poor Gothy, probably thinking I have given up on her.

"Wake up!"

I jumped out of my light sleep and saw Muraki standing in front. I hissed at him as I glared. "Muraki!"

"Hello, girl. You know, you sleep very deeply- which made it easy for me to take you." He said.

"Where's Amaya!"

"Far, far away, girl. Somewhere out of your reach." Muraki chuckled afterwards, making me even more angry.

"Knowing you, you probably chained them up to their own beds." I murmured. Muraki frowned at me and he took a step forward. I realized then that we were in a large room and I was chained up to the wall.

"Let it be know, girl." He snapped. "I care for my children; and Asato and Amaya are well taken care of. Mentally...and physically."

I gasped. "You bastard! You better not have touched her!" I yelled, spitting on his cheek. He simply wiped it off and in an instant, I was slapped. My anger came so quickly that I was already trying to attack. But, the chains held me back.

"How dare you tell me what I should have not done with my child."

"She is not your child! You are not her father! Now, where is she?!" I yelled. He slapped me again and my anger turned into a fiery rage as I tried to break the chains.

"As I had said before, you act upon anger. I have seen this so many times. Do you even care for Amaya?"

"I care! I know everything about her!"

"Knowing everything of the person does not mean you care, girl. Stupid, one! You are being selfish! I love them! Not you!" He scared me a bit of how he suddenly snapped, but I refused to show it. He paced the floor infront of me, talking amongst himself. Then I heard him say this: "They are mine."

"Yours? Who's being selfish now?" I said.

"Yes, but I have worked hard to get this- to be in this position. And what are you doing? Nothing. And now you are here, you won't be taking them away from me. And with your power, you are unable. I will check up on you, give you food, and nothing more." With that, he turned on his heel and walked towards the door and locked it from the outside. I looked up at the chains and tried to pull. They wouldn't budge. Have I finally been caught into vulnerability? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It's been days now. Not that I would know. Muraki had boarded up the windows so no form of light has shown. This means I can't use the shadows to slip out. The floor itself was so far from my feel that I couldn't even feel soil or dirt; even a little bit would have been enough for me to use my creation magic.

Muraki said infront of me, staring off into space. I knew that face. That's the same face I had when Amaya wasn't smiling. If fact, she wasn't talking or responding. We call it: 'Amaya's once a month depression', or 'A.O.M.D' for short.

I chucked to myself. Muraki noticed and frowned at me. "Amaya, she's depressed." I said. "I can see it on your face." Muraki stood up and turned his back to me.

"She's pulling away like I'm disgusting. And she has this evil look in those black eyes." He sighed. "You...tell me how to make her happy."

"Like I have the kind heart to tell you how to cheer up my own best friend. Yeah, right." I said.

"Tell me!"

"No!" Muraki growled and stormed out of the room. I laughed, loving his pain and frustration. Muraki came back inside with a gun in his hand. "Oh crap." He cocked the safety back and pointed it at me.

"Tell me, girl. How do I make my love happy?" Muraki said. I stared at the gun, thinking he's bluffing. But, he did kill 50 million people to get Tsuzuki's attention, kidnapped Hisoka, Tsuzuki, Amaya, and I to get what he wants. And...suddenly a loud bang sound the room and pain came in my right foot. I screamed in pain. "Ah! Shit! Why did I think to long?!"

"Tell me," Muraki said with a much deeper voice. "Or I'll shoot you in your other foot."

"...Dammit! Alright, alright. She's mostly lacking something. Or she might have been nosy and heard something about her. As far as I know, she probably needs attention. She lacks that if she doesn't get enough of it."

Muraki put the gun down and scoffed. "What a woman. She is almost like...a...wife..." Muraki began to stare into space again and I think I know his thoughts.

"What are you thinking? She's 17, she can't get married!"

"But she will be 18 soon; two more days. But who am I not to do such a thing? How foolish of me. I had tainted Asato's innocence. We have been sinning with sex. But I may have Amaya as my wife and that will change everything. She will be by my side, as long as we both shall live. And with her healing, she is probably unaging. And...wait, I am still alive. I will die...no. I will not let that happen." Muraki stormed out of the room , closing and locking the door behind him. I growled. "Dammit! Why didn't I let you kill me?!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next day, Muraki seemed different today. He was humming, and smiling, and kind of hopping around. It started to creep me out. He had only fed me two sandwiches today and soda today, which was more that I even gotten from him. And this had creeped me out even more, and another thing, he wiped me mouth after.
"Ah! Okay, what the hell is going on with you!"
"Nothing of your concern. But, maybe I should spare a few words. I'm going to propose to Amaya today. She's getting ready for our walk in the meadow today. But, I doubt she would have her sundress on. But, I would be delighted to dress her myself. I have done it so many times and each time I am more and more lust-filled."
"You pervert! You saw her naked?!" I yelled.
"Precisely." Muraki chuckled and headed for the door. "And girl. Remember that I will soon become your brother-in-law." I took in air and showed. "NO!" Muraki closed and locked the door.
Dammit! I should have kept my big mouth shut! If only I hadn't gotten my memory rewritten, then I could have saved Gothy. Oriya was right after all...I'm reckless and erratic. Damn bastard!
Gothy...Amaya was my only friend...family. Hell, I don't even know if my family survived...I-I can't do this alone. I may act all tough and stuff, but I'm scared- scared of being alone, scared of the evident darkness, scared...of being abandoned. Just like this...
"Is this my fucking fate? 'Cause if it is, I want to take it, guns 'a blazing. If I get killed secretly by Muraki in the process, I'll become a Shimigami- just so I can protect Gothy if I have to!" I said, my gray eyes gaining the fire that was dulled before.
I pulled at my chained that bound me tightly, not even wincing as it cut deeper in my wrists. I had pulled so many times, maybe they will free me this time. The darkness curled around the chains, helping me escape the chains of captivity.
"Come on!" I growled through my teeth. "I will n-not die...I will survive!"
Wow, that reminds me of some familiar lyrics, I thought. I kept pulling, my hands and arms were sticky with my own blood. And then, abruptly, the chains broke from the brick wall, and unfortunately, I came crashing down to the floor.
"Woah!" I hit my head on the chair that Muraki sat in. "OW" I yelped and rubbed the throbbing mark. I stood up weakly and began to chuckle. I slipped the bloody cuffs off my wrists for 3 minutes and ripped the sleeves of my favorite orange jacket and wrapped it around my wrists. "Well then, time to save the princess."
I ran towards the door, making the shadows unlock it, I ran out of the room, finding myself in a hallway with many doors. I walked down the hall and found stairs. There was a window just above it.
"Great, now to find out where I am." I said. I looked out of it and my mouth dropped. All I saw were trees. Lots and lots of them. "...Well played, bastard. Well played."
Well, looks like Izanami's finally got out and found the location! In the next chapter, we'll back with Amaya!
