We ready? Alright, let's GO.

How is everyone doing? It's been seven years since I wrote this, and suffice to say that a lot has changed. I know we're all stuck in the middle of a global pandemic, and everything looks awful and bleak and terrible - which is why here I am, indulging in escapism in its purest form. I thought I might rewrite this story. So Far by kissmedraco has been updated after seven years, endless people are finding the lockdowns and quarantines a good time to return to old stories.

I'm a very different person now. This story is still important to me - it got me started on this journey. Some of you followed me to new fandoms, some of you didn't. Some of you have remained life long friends, and some have faded from my memory. Some of you were inspirations for new characters, some of you were reviews I never forgot. I loved this story when I was writing it, despite not liking any of it anymore. We're always very critical of what we wrote when we were fifteen - even though we didn't know much about writing then, and all we really wanted to do was fulfil our fantasies of living in Hogwarts. And, of course, having Sirius Black fall in love with us.

My fantasies are somewhat different now. I can't even honestly say this story is something I subscribe to anymore - I confess, I'm more of a Remus x Sirius shipper now (what we called Wolfstar back in the day). But more on that in the newer story I write. I know you might have forgotten me - even if I haven't forgotten you. I know you might have moved on from your life, and you may not even care about Harry Potter anymore. I know all this - but I'd like it if you returned. It would be fun, we can have a few half laughs during a terrible time - and we can indulge our fifteen-year-old selves a little bit. It'll be a bit like a party, I promise. If you want to join this party, find the rest of us on From the Library of June Williams, pronto. Free of charge, and filled with nostalgia.

Love,

Ridiculosity

PS: I don't actually expect this to work, but here's hoping.
