Me: Hey, guys. Here's the epilogue to Super Paper Mario and Sonic. Sorry it took so long.

Mario: That's okay. Oh, I heard you got a job.

Sonic: Yeah. At a pet store. What do you do?

Me: Well, I clean everything and hang letters on the board outside and dry them. Anyway in this chapter, we find out Merlon's surprise. Enjoy.

Mario woke up back in Flipside. Sonic was wearing a jet black tuxedo and a bowtie and a silver crown but Elise wasn't there. All of Sonic's friends were there, Cream, Cheese, Vanilla and Big, the Chaotix, Vector, Espio and Charmy and Maria, Shadow's girlfriend from long ago. Then Natasia woke.
"Great leapin' bog monkeys! Natasia, she draws breath once again, lads!" O'Chunks said.
"I...I'm alive?" Natasia asked.
"Mr. Mario...check it out!" Cream said. "The void is closing..."
"Yes. It is proof that the Prophecy of Destruction has not come to be," Merlon said. "And all worlds have been saved. The prophecy has lost its power...thusly the world that was lost returns to normalcy. You have done well, heroes. It is all thanks to you. But...where is Tippy?"
"She's gone, Merlon. She disappeared after we saved the world," Shadow said, crossing his arms." The team pondered what happened to Tippy and Count Bleck. They could be dead. But Natasia smiled and said they are alive and they finally united and overcame time and fulfilled their old vows. So somewhere out there, the Count is still living in happiness with Tippy forever. Then Natasia started to cry at the loss of the Count because she is all alone. But O'Chunks said he believes the Count is alive, too. This calmed Natasia down because if she continues to cry like this, the Count won't ever like it. Merlon knew that farewells may be bittersweet but you can never escape it.
"By the way, Merlon, what is the surprise you had for Sonic and Elise?" Mario asked.
"He's giving Miss Elise and Mr. Sonic a special wedding ceremony here," Vanilla said.
"Yes. Saffron made a special wedding cake and we all came to see them marry," Vector said.
"I never wanted to miss this because this will remind me of me and Shadow's future dream to marry," Maria said.
"So to make Maria happy, Elise decided to throw he bouquet to Maria," Espio said.
"Merlon says this was a special thank you for saving the world," Charmy said. So everyone went to the altar where the wedding was supposed to be held. Elise wore a beautiful dress that was white with a gold sash. On her head was a gold crown and her veil was white. After a while the wedding ceremony was over and everyone began to party. Then Elise tossed her bouquet to Maria like she promised. Then something popped into Mario's mind.
"Hey, Sonic! I thought of the perfect spot for your honeymoon," Mario said.
"Really?" Sonic asked.
"Where?" Rouge asked.

Me: So that's what the surprise is. A special wedding ceremony for Sonic and Elise.

Mario: What a special way to say thank you, huh, Sonic?

Sonic: Definitely. Now it's Mario's turn to give me and Elise a surprise. For our honeymoon.
