Bonus Chapter

And as a thanks for putting me up for so long, this little bonus chap.

A lot of things had happened in the last couple of weeks, Mike's grandmother death, the lost of the voting for Jessica and, finally, but not for that least important, the epiphany that Harvey had had while he was pot-high with Mike. That revelation lead him to realize the truth about the scheme Daniel Hardman had put off in order to get control of the firm.

I had been keeping posted from Donna and Harvey all along so, when everything had ended the way it should, we gathered with Jessica and Mike to celebrate the victory.

Daniel Hardman was definitely out of the firm.

We all had a glass of champagne in our hands.

"To the firm of Pearson and kiss my ass" Harvey said, making a toast.

"I told you we'd be peeling him off the wall" Jessica told him.

"You go, I go" he said.

"He goes" she qualified, they looked at Donna expecting her to say something, but being the Donna we know, she just said.

"I already went and came back" We laughed and clinked our glasses and took a sip.

"By the way, we have a few more good news to share" Harvey said looking at me with a grin.

"Yes, we do" I agreed matching his grin with one of my own. Donna watched me surprised, I bet she didn't expect I were actually able to hide something for her.

"What?" she asked.

"I'm going back to Harvard".

"Shay! That's great!" she exclaimed standing from the chair and hugging me.

"Congratulations" Mike said, hugging me too.

"Thank you, Mike."

"If you are such a good lawyer as secretary, you will have a job here when you finish" Jessica told me.

"Thank you."

"Oh, believe me, Jessica. She's a hell of a closer" Harvey said, smiling over his glass. They all looked at us with identical quizzical expression. "If she could close me, she can close anything" he explained.

"Yeah, that's the other new. I've decided to make an honest man out of him" I smiled and showed them the ring."

"Wow, that ring is great" Donna said, taking my hand. "It's from that jewelery on the third right?"

"Yes, it is".

"I knew something was going on" Donna said, "I just thought it was related with Hardman."

"So congratulations are in order" Jessica said. "I think we'll need another bottle.
