Over 200 reviews! :D YAY!

XxBlazestormxX ~ Thank you! :3

Willowdream of ForestClan ~ I didn't get the chance to do a sneak peak this time, sorry! I just wanted to get the actual chapter up, but I managed to do it early for you guys. ^^

KatieK101 ~ Thank you so much! Right, in answer to your questions; Amberpaw thinks that there's a romance with Molespots and Lilystream (but really there isn't), I haven't really decided much on Snowpaw's insomnia, it was something I just decided to chuck in the last chapter xD, I may make it have a big part though, him having to overcome it or something. Amberpaw's warrior name? Well, you'll find out in this chapter what her warrior name is. :3 He he, well, when Amberpaw mentioned she had a dream, Dewpaw immediately thought of those dreams he'd had about leaves, which is why he reacted like that. :) Thank you! I can't wait either!

Avalonmagic ~ ^^ It's no problem, thank you! How do I write so well? -blushes- I'm touched. Well, I don't really know how to answer that question. I plan all my stories, so the story's in my head, so I kind of just know what I'm going to write. I don't really know if that helped? I can't really explain how I write, I just write. :3

Spottedmoth123 ~ He he, I just thought you fitted Amberpaw really well. :3 Oh my goodness, really? Thank you so much! :D

koilered ~ Thank chu! :3 He he, I'm going be using that word a lot more, SkyClanners... ThunderClanners... It sounds so much better than 'The ThunderClan Cats' :3

Clearfeather ~ Thank you so much for all your reviews, including those on Untold Secrets! I'll just respond to all of those here. :3 In one of your reviews you said that grey was spelt 'gray'. Just thought I'd let you know, I'm British, so over here, grey is the correct spelling. :) Briarlight did die, unfortunately, I felt really bad for her, it wasn't really much of a life, having to drag herself everywhere. Oh, and Coal isn't the same cat from SkyClan's Destiny, she's a different cat. :3 Again, thank you for all your reviews!

Numbuh 227 ~ Thank you so much! :3 Awesome, I finally got the SkyClan and the Stranger Manga! :D

Guest ~ I'm not sure whether you're the same person reviewing, but I'll reply to both reviews here. Thank you so much! Well, here we have the last chapter, I hope you enjoy it. :3

Again, so sorry this is so long! I hope you guys don't mind? Anyway, enjoy, don't forget to review, because I'm making a special surprise thingy for everyone who reviews this last chapter. :3

Dewpaw

It was amazing, the feeling of hope that every traveller now seemed to bear, Dewpaw included. Deep inside, every cat knew that this was the new home of SkyClan, but there was still the question of finding a camp. After all, if there was no suitable site for a camp, it would be very difficult for SkyClan to survive here, with it being so barren, excusing the scattering of forests of course.

They had all been eager to explore the new territory and it had all gone rather well at first, though that was before the rain had set in. The moisture made the rocks, already difficult to navigate for the three non-SkyClan members, even more hazardous to manoeuvre.

For the SkyClanners, however, the weather didn't seem to have dampened their spirits at all. No, they were in their element, leaping from boulder to boulder with great ease and considerable grace. It was practically settled now that this land would be SkyClan's new territory, so their aim now was to find a camp.

Almost slipping down a mossy boulder, a bright mew rose from just behind him, "Having a little trouble there, Dewy Paws?"

A smile sprung to the dark grey tom's face and Redpaw landed lightly beside him, grinning widely. Then Dewpaw suddenly remembered his conversation with Frecklewish, and his smile faded.

"Oh, hi Redpaw," he muttered, doing his best to sound as uninterested as he could, which with other cats, was pretty easy, but around the tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat, it was almost impossible.

Redpaw gave him a look, "Dewpaw?" concern flooded her mew, "Are you okay?" she tipped her head to one side, studying him very closely. The dark grey apprentice hated seeing her so worried, so cracked a small smile, but before he could respond, a yowl sounded from just behind him.
"Are you planning on standing there all day? 'Cause I don't know about you, but I was hoping we'd get to our new camp before next Green-leaf."

It had come from Shadewillow, a young black she-cat with amber eyes. Dewpaw snorted, rolling his eyes, "No need to be impatient," he called back, moving onwards.

The black warrior didn't reply, turning up her nose and continuing her discussion with Greywhisper, who in all honesty, looked completely uninterested.

The dark grey tom ignored them, taking to staring down at his own paws; he didn't want to slip again, certainly not while Redpaw was here.

The tortoiseshell-and-white apprentice began talking again, "Anyway, is there something wrong? You seem particularly grumpy this afternoon," she glanced up at the clouded sky, giving a refreshing smile when a raindrop splashed on her nose, "Is it the rain? I love the rain."

Dewpaw gave a heavy sigh, picking his way down a small rock pile, "Yeah, it's the stupid rain," he lied, avoiding her leaf-green gaze, "I hate the rain."

Well, the last part was true, he did hate the rain. He understood that rain brought life to the forest, but it annoyed him thoroughly, getting his pelt wet and also washing away all the scents, making hunting and tracking prey exceedingly difficult. The real reason behind his grumpy attitude was of course down to Redpaw, though he wasn't actually grumpy at her. No, he had no reason to be upset at Redpaw, not now, not ever. Frecklewish was right, he had to let her go her own way, but it just broke him to think of life without the bubbly she-cat. He'd been such a miserable mouse-brain before meeting her and, true, he still did have his grumpy days, but Redpaw had made him into a much better cat in the three quarters of a moon or so he'd known her.

Dewpaw couldn't imagine life back in ThunderClan without her.

"Well," Redpaw's soft mew cut through his thoughts, "I guess it can get your pelt wet, and that can be a bit annoying," she paused, getting lost in her thoughts, "But it brings warmth and life to the forest, without it, we wouldn't be able to survive."

The dark grey apprentice hadn't really thought of it that way. Of course, he knew rain was important for the forest, but he'd never thought of anything further than that. If the forest died, the prey would leave and the clan would starve. Dewpaw gazed up at the falling rain, suddenly grateful and not at all bothered by the droplets clinging to his thick grey pelt.

Although he hadn't realised it, he was smiling once again.

The pretty apprentice touched her tail to his side, "See, it's not so bad, eh?" she purred softly, "Is Dewy Paws a little happier now? Has his frowny face gone away?" she mimicked him, strutting about with a huge frown on her face, grumbling to herself, "It's cold. I hate everything. Apart from myself, I'm the most awesome, amazing cat to ever walk the forest. Every other cat is just a mouse-brain. Ugh, I hate everyone."

The dark grey tom couldn't help but laugh, Is that really how I come across to everyone? I'm such a mouse-brain. He gave her a playful poke, "I'm not that grumpy, not since I met you," the last part just tumbled out and instantly Dewpaw closed his jaws, flattening his ears against his head in embarrassment and not daring look at Redpaw for fear of her reaction to his words.

The SkyClan apprentice too seemed surprised by the dark grey tom's mew and for a moment she was silent. Then she let out a soft purr, warmth glowing in her green eyes, "Really? You mean you were even grumpier before?" she gazed at the dark-furred tom warmly, unseen emotions swimming below the surface of her bright green eyes.

"You've got to let her go!" Frecklewish's mew suddenly came back to the dark grey tom and his smile slowly faded. Then he took a deep breath, I know, I know… Just not yet. Then he disregarded his discussion with the mottled brown medicine cat, letting his grin return.

"Seriously though, I'm not actually that grumpy, am I?" he persisted, searching the tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat's clear green gaze, If I'm really as grumpy as she made me out to be… No, I can't have been that bad?

Redpaw giggled, "Well, not quite that grumpy, but you were pretty miserable," she tipped her head to one side, "So, when you go back to ThunderClan, are you going to go back to being the old Dewpaw? The grumpy, depressed, mouse-brained Dewpaw?" though she meant it as a joke, there was an element of seriousness glimmering in her green gaze.

Dewpaw gave her another playful shove, "Hey, watch it!" he warned, whiskers twitching in amusement, "And in answer to your question?" he paused for a moment, letting his amber gaze drift to the rain clouds above, "I'll try not to."

Oh StarClan, if only Redpaw could join ThunderClan. I'm sure Bramblestar would accept her, she's an amazing cat. Although her hunting skills aren't quite as polished as they could be, she's quick on her feet and excellent at tracking prey, even in the rain.

Grinning a little, he suddenly turned to the tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat, amber eyes glowing, "You know, ThunderClan isn't much different to SkyClan," he began, letting his eyes wander their surroundings, "We hunt in forests, we definitely have the best territory and we certainly don't have any of these rocks," he tipped his head to one side, studying the tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat, "You could join ThunderClan, you know?"

Redpaw looked absolutely horrified, certainly not what Dewpaw had been hoping for, "Join ThunderClan?" she echoed in utter disbelief, "I couldn't! I could never leave my family; Sharpclaw, Cherrytail, Whitepaw, Robinsong and Flintclaw, I love them all! My heart lies with SkyClan, I could never abandon them."

The dark grey tom's shoulders sagged, "Oh."

Redpaw's green gaze softened, "That was a bit harsh wasn't it? I'm sorry," she moved closer to him so their pelts were brushing, "I could just never be happy in another clan, that's all. SkyClan is where I belong."

Dewpaw nodded understandingly, but his mood was a little dampened, "No, it's okay, I understand. I'm just the same, I'd never be able to leave behind my family for another clan, I just couldn't," feeling a little bold, he gave her a gentle nuzzle to the cheek, "It won't be the same in ThunderClan, that's all. I've never had a friend like you," he sighed, dark gaze clouding, "Everyone kind of ignores me, I'm just that miserable old bag of fur who everyone hates."

The tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat snorted, "Don't be ridiculous, Amberpaw and Snowpaw love you, as I'm sure the rest of your family do," she mewed softly, "As for me, we'll see each other at gatherings."

But that's not often enough! Dewpaw wanted to yowl, once a moon was hardly very regular, he wanted to be around Redpaw every day, to hear her sweet voice every night, to get lost in her beautiful green eyes all the time.

"I know," he sighed, "But it just won't be the same. I… I really… You…" he trailed off, uncertain of how to put it, "There's no-one like you in ThunderClan, no-one who actually listens to me, no-one can actually stand this grumpy old fur-ball."

The tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat smiled warmly, green eyes glazed with sympathy and a little sadness, "I'm sure that's not true. When you return to ThunderClan, everyone will be so impressed by what you did," her eyes danced with amusement when she meowed the next words, but there was no denying the sadness in her voice, "Hey, I bet before long you'll find yourself a pretty she-cat who's fallen head over paws for you, with no clan borders to get between you."

But I've already found a she-cat'; you, Redpaw. The dark grey tom let his gaze flicker to his paws as he navigated a large rock, "I… suppose."

They travelled in silence for a while, Dewpaw falling in behind the tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat. They were travelling behind Leafstar, Billystorm, Rabbitleap, both warriors ensuring the aging leader didn't slip, much to the brown-and-cream tabby's annoyance.

To their rear travelled Shadewillow, Greywhisper and Sparrowfoot. Just behind them, Berrystep and Brightwing travelled together, their pelts almost touching. Cloudfoot lingered behind them, obviously feeling rather awkward and not wanting to get between the two young cats.

Amberpaw and Snowpaw were walking just behind Cloudfoot, accompanied by Whitepaw, Mousepaw and Robinsong. The queens travelled a few paces behind them, assisted by Sagewhisker and Flintclaw, watched over by Sharpclaw. Firesong's kits, Aspenkit and Sootkit, were determined to prove that at a moon old, they were old enough to not be carried and were tumbling about, their tiny legs making it difficult for them to climb the large rocks. Their mother watched over them, fearful of them harming themselves.

"Hey, what's that over there?" Redpaw's excitable mew rose above the quiet and she raced ahead, nimbly leaping over rocks. The dark grey tom gave a smile, following at a slower pace. He was no SkyClan cat, he didn't bother even attempting Redpaw's movements.

"Ooh, look! It's"- the tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat's mew was suddenly cut off by the low moaning of stones as suddenly the ground collapsed beneath her.

"Redpaw!" the dark grey tom screeched, heart racing with fear as he darted forwards. As Redpaw began to fall, he managed to lean out over the edge of the cliff face and grab her by the scruff of her neck, hauling her to safety.

For a moment they both lay breathless on the rocks, neither of them speaking. Dewpaw's heart was still beating at the speed of light, his amber eyes wide. Oh StarClan, what if she'd fallen? What if I hadn't been able to save her?

"Dewpaw… You…" she breathed, eyes pooling with shock. After taking a few moments to swallow and recover, she rose to her paws, "You saved me… I… I could be dead," she licked his cheek softly, "Thank you."

The dark grey tom was unable to comprehend what had just happened and didn't get to his paws half as quickly, "I… I couldn't let you fall," he told her honestly, "I could never let you fall."

"What happened?" Whitepaw had obviously seen what had happened and raced over, panting heavily, "Redpaw, are you okay?"

Cats were quick to gather round, eyes wide and fur standing on end.

"Is she hurt?"

"Wait, what happened? Did she fall?"

Redpaw, at last feeling recovered, blinked calmly, "I'm fine," she insisted, smoothing her pelt down with a few quick licks, "But look! Where I fell, look!" she thrashed her tail towards the cliff face.

Cautiously, Dewpaw peered over the edge, and he was immediately blown away by what he saw. It was a large hollow, with cliffs of tall red stone. On one of the cliff walls, the river tumbled down, forming a waterfall and a clear pool at the bottom. The river winded round to disappear into a cave in the Cliffside. Dewpaw guessed it became one of those underground rivers he'd heard of and eventually led to the lake.

There were many other caves in the cliff walls and in the centre of the hollow was a large rock pile. Rock-falls meant that there were natural paths to reach most of the caves.

All the members of SkyClan had now gathered at the cliff top, gazing down at the hollow in absolute awe.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Shouldn't we go explore it?" Redpaw meowed, letting her gaze wash over the SkyClanners. She looked to Leafstar expectantly, green eyes dancing with hope and excitement.

For a moment the brown-and-cream tabby was still, then she smiled, dipping her head, "Let's find a safe way down," she meowed, amber gaze drifting to the hollow below.

Redpaw grinned, turning to Dewpaw, "Come on then, let's go!"

Snowpaw

It didn't take long to find a suitable path down, a steep path, which Snowpaw presumed had been carved out by a river. The SkyClan members had split into groups to explore the many caves and areas of the hollow; even the elders were eager to discover what lay within the hollow.

When each group eventually returned, gathering together in the centre of the hollow, they shared their findings with the rest of the clan.

"The river's water is safe to drink," Harryclaw was announcing, taking his turn to stand beside Leafstar at the top of the rock pile, "We even spotted a few fish swimming about at the bottom, they could be a source of prey if the goings ever got tough."

A few cats made harsh retorts at the suggestion of fishing. Snowpaw didn't blame them; he certainly didn't fancy get his paws wet for a measly fish. He'd once tried fish and it had tasted absolutely foul! It was certainly an experience he didn't want to repeat.

"How about your group, Birdflight?" Leafstar turned her attention to the black warrior, "Would the lower caves be suitable for use?"

Birdflight exchanged a brief glance with Plumwillow, gaze warm, "One of the caves was filled with rocks, but the others were clear, a little small, but they would be perfect as dens, or perhaps even a place for Frecklewish to store herbs?" she reported back, voice clear and filled with pride.

The SkyClan medicine cat perked up a little at the mention of a place for herb storage and she smiled even wider, amber eyes bright with determination.

Leafstar also was smiling and dipped her head to the warrior, "Brilliant," she let her gaze drift to a white tom, "And Harveymoon, what were the upper caves like?"

The senior warrior stepped forward, standing a little taller, eyes shining, "Most of the upper caves were empty, there was certainly plenty of room in each of them. Though there was one cave that we couldn't quite reach," he motioned with a flick of his white tail towards one of the highest caves in the red cliff wall, "If we could work out a route to get to it, I suspect it would be perfect for another den, it seems to be the largest cave."

Harveymoon then promptly dipped his head to his leader and took a step back to stand next to Shrewtooth.

Leafstar sat up taller, letting her amber gaze sweep right over the SkyClan cats, "Thank you, Harveymoon," she took a deep breath, the continued, "A few moons ago, I had given up in StarClan. SkyClan were slowly starving of hunger, but through it all, everyone stayed strong. Then came Amberpaw, Dewpaw and Snowpaw, who have journeyed far to find us and have led us to a brighter future," she bowed her head to the three apprentices. Snowpaw smiled warmly, dipping his head to the SkyClan leader in return.

Leafstar continued, tail curling around her paws, "And now we have at last found our home, alongside the other clans. This hollow is everything we need in a camp and the territory is very much like the gorge and our old territory," she sat up a little taller, blinking warmly, "Tomorrow, there will be no more travelling. Our journey has come to a close, but we still have a way to go," she inhaled a deep breath, turning to her deputy, "Sharpclaw, tomorrow you will lead a patrol to explore the territory. We won't mark our borders however until we have spoken with the other clans."

The brown-and-cream tabby glanced up at the sky, which was starting to fade from the stormy grey to a gentle amber. Snowpaw hadn't noticed, but the rain fall had ceased. All was still and quiet for a moment, then the SkyClan leader continued speaking.

"The full moon is approaching, gatherings are held on the night of the full moon?" she tipped her head to one side a little, searching Amberpaw, Dewpaw and Snowpaw's gazes.

Dewpaw rose to his paws, meowing loud and clear, "Yes, Leafstar," his words echoed around the red-stone hollow, "We hold our gathering on the island on the lake."

A few shocked outburst arose amongst the SkyClan cats.

"An island? I certainly am not getting my paws wet for some lousy gathering."

"Do we have to swim to get there?"

The dark grey tom lashed his tail in frustration, "Let me finish, will you?" the murmurs died down and Dewpaw gave a satisfied smile, "Now, what I was about to say, was that there's a tree-bridge that we use to cross onto the island," he explained, "It can be a little difficult to cross at first, but you'll adjust to it fine."

The brown-and-cream tabby leader smiled, dipping his head to the shady-furred tom, "Thank you, Dewpaw," she murmured gratefully, "Rather than sending a few warriors to each clan to tell them of SkyClan, I think it would be sensible to wait for the gathering to announce our arrival to the other clans. That way we can explain everything properly and shouldn't have to repeat ourselves."

Murmurs of agreement arose amongst the cats. Sharpclaw nodded, meowing supportively, "I agree, Leafstar. I would have suggested exactly the same thing."

Leafstar smiled gratefully, pausing for a few moments before at last continuing, "Amberpaw, Snowpaw, Dewpaw, words can't express how thankful we are for what you've done to help us," she leapt down the rock pile with surprising ease to stand beside the three apprentices, "SkyClan will be forever in your debt," she dipped her head to each one in turn, "Now, I presume you three would all love to get back your clan? I'll have Rabbitleap and Robinsong accompany you back to ThunderClan, if you'd like?"

Both Amberpaw and Snowpaw nodded eagerly. Eventually Dewpaw joined in, though he looked a little reluctant, shooting a brief glance over at Redpaw.

"That would be great," Snowpaw purred, meeting the brown-and-cream tabby's gaze easily. He was surprised that he could contain the excitement growing within him; by nightfall, he'd be back in ThunderClan! He just wanted to jump with joy.

Amberpaw was shivering with excitement next to him, bright amber eyes glowing. It was only Dewpaw who seemed completely calm, a confusion of emotions pooling his amber gaze.

Leafstar's whiskers twitched in amusement, "Well then, I'd best not keep you waiting, I'm sure you're desperate to see your clanmates again. Rabbitleap! Robinsong!" she called to the two warriors. The pale brown tom and the golden brown tabby she-cat came bounding over. Leafstar smiled warmly, "Will you kindly oversee these three's return to ThunderClan?"

"Of course, Leafstar," both warriors dipped their head to the brown-and-cream tabby she-cat.

Leafstar let out a rumbling purr, "Thank you and May StarClan light your path," she nodded to the three apprentices.

Redpaw suddenly came bounding over to Dewpaw, sadness glinting in her green gaze, "Dewpaw! Don't… Don't leave without saying goodbye."

The dark grey tom appeared to force a smile, swallowing, "Don't be a mouse-brain. I could never leave without saying goodbye," for a moment their pelts brushed, then the dark grey tom pulled away, "I'll miss you Redpaw. I wish you and SkyClan all the best and… I'll see you at the next gathering."

Redpaw took a shaky breath, "I'll miss you too, Dewy Paws," she gave a little smirk, amusement lighting her green gaze for a brief moment.

Rabbitleap and Robinsong were lingering by the rock path, waiting to leave. Amberpaw shot a quick glance in Snowpaw's direction, then joined them. Snowpaw padded after her. They were just waiting on Dewpaw now, then they could be on their way home. Home. The snowy-pelted tom gave a soft purr, Oh come on, Dewpaw, let's go already!

The words seemed to ring through to the dark grey tom. He took a deep breath, murmuring softly, "Goodbye, Redpaw."

The tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat managed to choke out a; "G-goodbye. Good luck and"- she broke off, swallowing, "and May StarClan light your path."

The dark grey tom cracked a smile before joining his littermates and the two warriors. His gaze lingered on Redpaw for a moment, before he turned to Rabbitleap, "Well, let's go."

The pale brown tom smiled, "Very well," he began to bound up the rock path in easy leaps. Robinsong echoed his grace, whilst the three apprentices followed last, awkwardly stumbling up the path.

Just as they reached the top of the rock path, the white tom heard a call from the camp below. It was Leafstar. What were her simple words?

"Thank you!"

The five cats skirted the Horseplace and now treaded WindClan territory, making sure to stay within two tail-lengths from the lake, Dewpaw often shooting wary glances up at the hills to his right where WindClan resided.

As they walked, Snowpaw explained a little more about each of the clans to Robinsong and Rabbitleap, both of whom were very eager to learn more about the clans they'd heard so much about. They were particularly interested in RiverClan.

"Do they really catch fish?" Robinsong asked, confusion clouding her gaze, "Are fish really worth getting your paws wet?"

The white-furred tom nodded, "They swim as well," he told her, "I don't know why they do it. They're cats, not fish. I don't know what all the fuss is about anyway, fish are disgusting."

"Hey, would you be quiet!" Dewpaw, who'd been leading, snapped, thrashing his tail, "If we stopped gossiping about the other clans, we might actually make it to the stone hollow before moon-high."

The snowy-pelted tom was completely caught off guard by his brother's outburst, "No need to get angry," he muttered under his breath. Dewpaw's ears twitched, as though having caught his words, but his brother didn't speak.

Snowpaw mouthed a 'Sorry' to Robinsong and Rabbitleap, but the two cats didn't seem to have minded at all.

They travelled in silence for a little way, until they reached the stream that divided ThunderClan's territory from WindClan's territory. At that point, the white tom gave up holding in the excitement.

We're so close! Oh My StarClan, I'm so excited!

Racing forwards, he threw a few words over his shoulder to Robinsong and Rabbitleap, "We crossed this stream on our way, it shouldn't cause any problems, just don't fall in like I did!"

He may have fallen in the stream then, but this was almost two moons later now. Although the small white tom certainly hadn't grown much since then, he was much stronger, his hind legs much more powerful. He was confident he'd be able to leap the distance now.

Paws thudding against the grassy turf, the white tom raced forwards, pushing off from the river bank and easily clearing the stream. When he landed, he just grinned, chest heaving as he caught his breath.

Dewpaw followed him shortly, making the distance easily. Then came Amberpaw, who also leapt the stream with surprising ease and even a little grace.

Being SkyClan warriors, leaping was what they did best, so Robinsong and Rabbitleap found it no problem, all landing safely on ThunderClan territory. For a moment, the white-furred tom paused to just inhale the sweet scent of his birth-clan. Now that he was on his own territory, there was no need to say close to the lake. Besides, they were heading for the Stone Hollow, so the white tom was quick to lead the way into the cover of the forest.

Amberpaw bounced up to him, flanking his right side, "I can't believe it! We're almost home! I'm so excited! I'm so excited!" she blurted out, prancing about.

The white tom laughed, "I can't wait to see Seedflight again! And Brightheart and Cloudtail! I've missed them all so much," he grinned.

The grey-and-white she-cat purred, "Me too!"

It was at that point that Dewpaw fell in beside Snowpaw, flanking his other side. Robinsong and Rabbitleap kept up the rear, having a conversation about their new camp.

"Do you think they'll want us back?" the dark grey tom asked, amber gaze dim and voice glum, "They probably think we deserted the clan to be kittypets or something."

Snowpaw frowned, "Don't be ridiculous. We came back didn't we? And when we tell them about the prophecy, they're hardly going to kick us out of ThunderClan, are they?"

The dark grey tom sighed, "I guess."

The white tom didn't know what was up with his brother. Why was he so miserable? They were returning home, after almost two long moons travelling! Why wasn't he excited?

They didn't speak for a few moments, winding in between trees and ducking under bramble thickets. Snowpaw took a deep breath, drinking in the delicious scents of the forest. He could scent many of his clanmates, Birchfall, Lionblaze, Hazeltail, even Icecloud. But there was one scent that screamed at him, Seedflight.

The snowy white tom was a little surprised they hadn't encountered any patrols or cats yet, perhaps there was a clan meeting or something.

The scents grew stronger as they drew closer to the Stone Hollow, when they emerged from the undergrowth to find themselves face to face with…

For a moment, Snowpaw and his littermates were frozen to the spot in shock. The white tom thought his heart might explode with joy. Because the cats they'd come face to face with were Seedflight, Honeykit, Berrynose and Puddlekit.

The four cats stayed still for a moment, eyes wide with complete and utter shock. Snowpaw just grinned, Seedflight was even more beautiful than he remembered her.

Then she raced forwards, happiness pooling in her vibrant green gaze, "Snowpaw! You're back!" when she reached him, she nuzzled him softly, their pelts brushing, "Oh, thank StarClan you're okay. I was so worried about you. You don't know how much I've missed you."

For a heartbeat, the world froze. The small white tom just enjoyed her gentle touch, drinking in her familiar scent and admiring the way the evening light played on her pale ginger pelt.

Eventually, she pulled away, and Snowpaw at last spoke, "I… I missed you so much, Seedflight. I missed ThunderClan so much," he murmured, letting himself explore the rich green depths of her eyes.

Amberpaw and Dewpaw were talking to Berrynose, probably explaining about the prophecy and the journey Snowpaw presumed. Rabbitleap and Robinsong just stood there awkwardly, shuffling their paws.

The white-pelted tom let his gaze drift to Puddlekit and Honeykit, before meowing to Seedflight, "How come these two are out of camp? They're not apprentices yet," his gaze lingered on the two littermates, amber orbs clouding in confusion.

Seedflight chuckled, "They may not have been apprentices when you left, but they are now," she purred, rubbing against him affectionately, "Berrynose is Puddlepaw's mentor and I'm Honeypaw's mentor," she mewed shyly.

"Really? You're a mentor?" the white tom couldn't quite believe it, what an honour to be selected as a mentor at such a young age, "Bramblestar couldn't have picked a better cat. Honeypaw's lucky to have such an amazing cat as her mentor."

The pale ginger she-cat let out a soft purr, "Thank you," she glanced over at Berrynose, "I'm guessing you're wanting to get back to camp? Oh, and who are your two friends?" she flicked her tail towards Robinsong and Rabbitleap.

"I'm Robinsong," the golden brown tabby she-cat announced, nodding to the pale brown tom beside her, "And this is Rabbitleap. We're warriors of SkyClan."

To Snowpaw's complete and utter disbelief, neither Berrynose, Seedflight, Honeypaw nor Puddlepaw looked at all shocked, "SkyClan," she tested the name on her tongue, "it's got a nice ring to it," Seedflight meowed warmly, "I'm Seedflight, this is my apprentice, Honeypaw, that's Berrynose and his apprentice, Puddlepaw," she motioned to each cat in turn.

"Wait! How do you know about SkyClan?" Dewpaw demanded, suspicion flaring in his dark amber eyes.

It was Berrynose who answered, snorting, "Leafpool received a dream saying you were on some journey to return a lost clan. She didn't mention the clan's name though."

"You can tell us all about your journey and SkyClan later though," Seedflight purred softly, green eyes bright, "Right now, let's just get back to camp," she crouched down to speak with the two apprentices, "Puddlepaw, Honeypaw, you two have been awfully quiet. You don't mind if we move this training session to tomorrow, do you?"

Both apprentices nodded, Puddlepaw meowing enthusiastically, "I don't mind! I want to hear all about the journey! It must've been so exciting! I wish I could've gone," he grinned, amber eyes aglow in the fading light.

Honeypaw nodded in agreement, though she wasn't quite so excitable, "It must've been hard," she commented, green eyes clouding with thought, "You had to leave behind your family, friends, the whole of ThunderClan! I'd never be able to do that."

They began to walk, heading towards camp. Snowpaw chuckled, eyes bright with warmth, "It was hard," he mewed honestly, voice soft, "I was worried we'd never return."

Whilst Robinsong and Rabbitleap talked to Berrynose, Amberpaw and Snowpaw shared a conversation with Seedflight and the two younger apprentices, catching up on all the latest clan news. Such as that Dovewing was expecting Bumblestripe's kits and was due in a moon or so. And that Ivypool and Toadstep were now mates, as were Orangeflight and Mousewhisker. Amberpaw was absolutely delighted by all this news, whilst Snowpaw was happy for his clanmates, though not as interested as his sister had been.

Dewpaw, all the while, kept up the rear, shuffling along and not saying much at all. He'd seemed a little depressed ever since they'd parted with SkyClan; Snowpaw made a mental note to speak with his brother later, to check everything was okay.

It took a moment for the snowy-furred tom to realise they'd reached the Thorn Barrier, the entrance to ThunderClan's Camp. He'd been so absorbed in his conversation with Seedflight that he hadn't really been concentrating on his surroundings at all.

All of a sudden he was hit by a wave of fear. What would his clanmates think after their long absence? Would they welcome him back? Or had they hardly noticed he'd ever left?

The pale ginger she-cat grinned, green eyes gleaming in the evening light, "I'll take the lead, should I?" she suggested, almost reading Snowpaw's mind. The white tom certainly didn't want to go first, so he nodded in agreement, he'd much happier following the young warrior.

Seedflight smiled, touching her tail to his shoulder reassuringly before slipping easily under the brambles. Taking a deep breath, he followed her under, Amberpaw just behind him, then Honeypaw and Puddlepaw. The two SkyClan warriors slipped under next, then finally, Berrynose and Dewpaw.

As the white-furred tom sat up, letting his amber gaze flit across the clearing, he felt his heart wrench. He'd missed the Stone Hollow so much, more than he'd ever realised. It was exactly as he remembered, the Apprentices' Den to his right, then next to it, the Warriors' Den. On the other side of the Apprentice's Den, the Medicine Cat's Den. On the far left was the honeysuckle bush that formed the Elders' Den and next to that the Nursery. Directly ahead was the Highledge and finally, below the Highledge was Bramblestar's den.

Most of ThunderClan had returned to camp after a day of hunting, patrolling or even training, for the mentors and apprentices at least. Daisy and Squirrelflight were draped over the basking stones, trying to soak up the fading sunlight as they watched Nettlekit, Flamekit and Finchkit at play. The three kits tumbled about, letting out squeals of delight as they tossed a large moss-ball about. Nearby, Redkit and Lakekit were being taught the Hunter's Crouch by Pebblepaw, eyes wide like owlets.

In the centre of camp many cats were eating or gossiping. Rosepetal and Foxleap shared a squirrel, whilst Birchfall and Whitewing shared tongues nearby, as did Molespots and Lilystream. The white tom shot a brief glance over at Amberpaw before letting his gaze wander once more.

Poppyfrost and Cinderheart were in a friendly discussion, whilst Mosspaw and Stormpaw emerged from the Elders' Den with dirty moss in their jaws. The white-furred tom let out a little chuckle, he'd almost forgotten about all the Apprentice Chores, he certainly hadn't missed them on their journey.

Above it all, Bramblestar was watching from the Highledge, Lionblaze at his side. For a few moments, the cats just stood there, then the ThunderClanners looked up whatever it was they were doing and suddenly all eyes were on Snowpaw, Dewpaw and Amberpaw. For a heartbeat, there was complete silence.

Then they all came to life, many jumping to their paws and racing over. Excited murmurs rippled amongst them and Snowpaw could finally heave a sigh of relief.

"They're back! Oh my StarClan, they're back!"

"I can't believe it. I wonder whether they found that lost clan…"

"The three apprentices! And who are those two with them?"

"Snowpaw? Amberpaw? Dewpaw?"

The white-furred apprentice's heart leapt with joy when he recognised that last mew. Grinning wider than he ever thought possible, he let out a joyous purr. Mother!

Amberpaw

A blur of white fur and Snowpaw raced past the pale grey she-cat and straight to where Brightheart was standing with Cloudtail, her expression being that of a complete and utter shock and total happiness. Cloudtail too was delighted, his tail flicking from side to side rapidly.

Amberpaw threw a glance over her shoulder at Dewpaw, "Come on, Dewpaw!" she then gave a little skip of happiness and darted over to where her Mother and Father were waiting expectantly. The thudding of paws told her that her brother was following.

The grey-and-white she-cat skidded to a halt just before her mother. Cloudtail was already rubbing against Snowpaw, giving a raspy purr. Amberpaw grinned, "Mother, Father! I've missed you so much!" she burst out, jumping forwards to nuzzle Brightheart.

The ginger-and-white elder let out a rumbling purr, joy sparking in her one eye, "Oh, I've missed you all too!"

For a moment, Amberpaw just drank in her mother's reassuring scent. For a heartbeat, she felt completely safe, cocooned in the warmth of her family's love. It was funny really, she'd never realised how much she loved her family until she had to live without then. She would never take them for granted again.

Brightheart weaved herself around her three kits, hers and Cloudtail's tail entwining, "I'm never going to lose you again," she murmured softly, muttering under her breath to her mate, "Because, if I'm quite honest, I don't think I'd be able to cope."
Her gaze turned to Dewpaw and for a moment she was silent. Then she gave a little sigh, "Oh, Dewpaw," she began to smooth down his pelt in swift rasps of her tongue, "You haven't been grooming yourself. Honestly, some things never change."

Dewpaw pulled away, but before the dark grey tom could respond, they were joined by Bramblestar. The clan leader smiled, dipping his head to the three apprentices, "Amberpaw, Dewpaw, Snowpaw, welcome back to ThunderClan," his gaze swept over to Robinsong and Rabbitleap, who had been surrounded by apprentices and having questions hurled at them, "You bring friends?"

Snowpaw stood a little taller, meeting his leader's gaze, he motioned for the two SkyClan cats to join them, "This is Rabbitleap and Robinsong, they're warriors of SkyClan," he nodded to each cat in turn, "Meet Bramblestar, our clan leader," he then meowed, flicking his tail towards the broad-shouldered tabby.

Both warriors dipped their heads respectfully, "Greetings, Bramblestar," Rabbitleap meowed politely, "We were just accompanying Amberpaw, Snowpaw and Dewpaw back here," he explained, respect for the ThunderClan leader flooding his amber gaze.

The ThunderClan leader smiled, "Thank you, Rabbitleap, Robinsong, you're welcome to stay a little while if you wish?" he offered.

The two warriors exchanged brief glances, "Thank you for the offer," Robinsong mewed softly, "But we'd rather we get back to our clan, if that's okay?"

Bramblestar's whiskers twitched in amusement, "Of course," he chuckled, "I understand fully."

Robinsong and Rabbitleap blinked gratefully.

The ThunderClan leader continued, letting his gaze rest on the three apprentices, "Now, I'm sure everyone would love to hear about your journey."

After standing in front of the whole clan to tell them all about their journey and SkyClan, there had been many questions. Most had been about the journey, but a few cats had questioned whether there was room for a fifth clan around the lake. Most cats, however, seemed to have perfectly accepted the lost clan's return, many very curious about SkyClan.

It had been a relief to break away from all the questions and words being hurled at her to return to her old nest in the Apprentices' Den. It had been left untouched, as had Dewpaw's. Snowpaw's however seemed to have had the bedding changed regularly and was lined with feathers and soft moss. It wasn't hard to guess who'd kept it for him, Seedflight almost certainly.

It was almost moon-high by that point and Pebblepaw, Honeypaw, Puddlepaw, Mosspaw and Stormpaw were already curled up in their nests, sleeping soundly. Dewpaw had gone on a walk, whilst Snowpaw was outside in the stone hollow talking to Seedflight. Though Amberpaw couldn't make out their words, she could hear the softness in their voices and she grinned. The pale grey-and-white she-cat thought their reunion earlier had been utterly adorable, there was certainly no questioning who Snowpaw would take as his mate when he became a warrior.

Sinking into her nest and closing her eyes, the grey-and-white apprentice was surprised to hear a voice at the entrance.

"Amberpaw? You in there?"

The apprentice looked up, amber eyes bright in the darkness. Honeypaw and Stormpaw stirred a little in their nests, but didn't awaken. Standing in the entrance, the moonlight casting long shadows, was the cat she'd been wanting to talk to ever since she'd returned to the stone hollow.

Molespots blinked shyly, picking his way around nests to reach Amberpaw. Realising she hadn't yet responded, the pale grey-and-white apprentice stammered, "O-Oh, M-Molespots… I… I wasn't e-expecting you."

The spotted brown-and-cream tom tipped his head to one side a little, "Don't worry," he murmured softly, "I'm not here to disturb you, I just brought you some fresh moss," he gazed at the young she-cat for a moment, eyes clouding with an emotion that Amberpaw couldn't quite read in the dim light, "Here."

He dropped the moss that he'd had tucked under his chin at his paws, then began to tuck it in around Amberpaw. The pale grey-and-white she-cat smiled, rising to her paws so that the young warrior could put in the moss properly, "Thank you," she purred, heart giving a little flutter. He brought me some moss! He thought to bring me some moss!

After seeing him with Lilystream earlier, sharing tongues, her mood had been a little dampened, but she decided not to mention it to Molespots now, he had always been good friends with the dark brown-and-white tabby she-cat, it was nothing to worry about, right?

The spotted warrior's eyes gleamed in the darkness, "It's my pleasure," he mewed softly, "I'm sure you're exhausted. I'll leave you be now," he began to pad away, then seemed to have a change of heart and returned to her side, Amberpaw having settled down into her nest once more.

For a heartbeat he didn't speak, then he whispered quietly, shooting a quick glance over at the sleeping apprentices, "I… I know we weren't really friends before you left… But…" he paused, thinking for a moment, "I… I actually missed you… a lot more than I expected," he crouched beside her and leaned closer. They were so close, Amberpaw was sure she could actually hear his heart beating.

"I'd really like to spend some more time with you," he purred gently, amber gaze warm.

The pale grey-and-white she-cat's heart gave a flip, is this actually happening? Am I dreaming? She tried to come across as calm, not wanting to let on how excited she was, so gave a small nod, "That'd be great, I'd love to."

Molespots seemed to give a sigh of relief, "Great!" he took a step back, gaze lingering on her for a heartbeat. Then he leaned down and licked her cheek softly, quickly bouncing away.

The warrior paused at the Apprentices' Den entrance, calling over his shoulder, "Goodnight, sweet dreams," and then he was gone.

Amberpaw was left in a state of shock, a little afraid that if she were to make any sudden movements, she would suddenly awaken from a dream. Did that all really just happen? Am I imagining things?

Resting her head on her paws, the young she-cat closed her eyes. Slowly, she drifted off into dreams, of her and a certain cream-and-brown tom.

And when Dewpaw returned to his nest, he found Amberpaw sound asleep, with a beautiful smile on her face.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather below the Highledge for a clan meeting!" Bramblestar's echoing words ripped through Amberpaw's dream, jolting her awake. For a moment, the pale grey-and-white she-cat just lay in her nest, frowning as bright sunlight came spilling in through the den walls. All the nests around her were empty.

Mouse-dung! I overslept!

Then the events of the previous day came crawling back to her and she supposed that her clanmates wouldn't mind too much if she'd slept too long, they had been travelling an awful long way.

Swiftly cleaning her pelt with a few quick rasps, Amberpaw eventually rose to her paws and exited the den. It was surprisingly warm, the sun having just risen just above the treeline. Letting her pelt soak up the sun's warm rays for a few moments, the ThunderClan apprentice made her way over to where Snowpaw and Dewpaw had gathered below the Highledge with the rest of ThunderClan.

"Good morning," she meowed sleepily to them as she sat herself down, tail curling around her paws. As they waited for the last few cats to gather, Amberpaw let a long yawn part her jaws and blinked away the weariness.

Snowpaw smiled warmly, "You slept well, I assume?" he purred. Amberpaw nodded vigorously, letting her amber gaze drift to the Highledge where Bramblestar stood proud. For a moment, the pale grey-and-white she-cat wondered why the ThunderClan leader was calling a clan meeting.

Satisfied that everyone was in attendance, Bramblestar began, Amberpaw watching curiously, "Cats of ThunderClan, I'm sure you can all guess why I'm holding a meeting this morning," amusement glimmered behind his amber eyes.

Knowing whispers spread amongst those gathered and Amberpaw got a few looks from several cats. Well, if I'm quite honest, I have no idea why you're holding a clan meeting. She thought privately, though she held her tongue.

"After returning from their great journey yesterday, I'm sure you'll agree that there's no need for a Warrior Assessment for these three cats," Amberpaw's heart gave a little skip, Wait, does that mean... Bramblestar took a deep breath, his amber gaze seeking out the three littermates amongst the clan, "Amberpaw, Snowpaw, Dewpaw, if you could step forward."

The pale grey-and-white apprentice's amber eyes widened in absolute shock, Bramblestar's making us warriors… Bramblestar's making us warriors! She exchanged delighted glances with Snowpaw and Dewpaw and, grinning, stepped forwards.

The dark brown tabby tom leapt down from the Highledge to stand before the three apprentices, then he lifted his head to the sky, his voice ringing clear in the still air, "I, Bramblestar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these three apprentice. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors, each in their turn."

Amberpaw could hardly stay still, trembling with excitement and shuffling her paws, her amber eyes alight with excitement.

The dark brown tabby tom let his amber gaze rest on Snowpaw, "Snowpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" he asked, watching the apprentice intently.

The snowy-pelted tom took a deep breath, closing his eyes briefly, "I do," he meowed calmly, voice clear. Amberpaw caught a brief glance of Seedflight watching in the corner of her eye, green eyes dancing with pride and happiness.

Bramblestar grinned, "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name," he paused, letting his gaze sweep over the clan before it at last returned to Snowpaw, "Snowpaw, from this moment you will be known as Snowfall, in honour of the prophecy. StarClan honours your honesty and intelligence, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan."

The ThunderClan leader stepped forward, resting his muzzle on Snowfall's head, pride brimming from his dark amber gaze. Snowfall gave a wide grin, licking his leader's shoulder. For a moment he sought out a particular face in the crowd, then, upon finding it, he exchanged delighted glances with Seedflight.

Amberpaw managed to make out Brightheart and Cloudtail at the back of the gathered cats, sitting proud, their pelts pressed together.

Whilst Snowfall sat, absolutely delighted, Bramblestar turned his gaze to Dewpaw, who actually looked surprisingly excited. Bramblestar blinked calmly, leaning closer, "Dewpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

The dark grey tom sat up a little taller, puffing out his chest fur, amber eyes bright with excitement, "I do," he meowed confidently.

Bramblestar gave a little chuckle, "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Dewpaw, from this moment, you will be known as…" he paused for effect, whiskers twitching in slight amusement, "Dewclaw, in honour of your excellent fighting skills. StarClan honours your courage and skill in battle and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan," he then took a small step back and rested his head on the new warrior's head.

Dewclaw grinned and for a moment, Amberpaw was in shock. She'd never seen her brother so happy, except for when he was with Redpaw of course.

Bramblestar let him have his moment, then continued with the ceremony, "And at last. Amberpaw," he purred, humour sparking in his gaze, "Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and"-

"I do!" Amberpaw burst out, unable to keep it in any longer, shaking with excitement. Realising what she'd done, her pelt quickly fluffed up in embarrassment and she ducked her head, "Sorry."

Thankfully, the ThunderClan leader saw the funny side of it, joining in with in the amused purrs that were spreading amongst the gathered cats. He smiled warmly, "I'll get on with it then, shall I? By the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name," he took a deep breath, "Amberpaw, in honour of the return of the lost clan, from this moment you will be known as Ambersky. StarClan honours your warmth and enthusiasm and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan."

Bright amber eyes dancing with joy, The pale grey-and-white she-cat's heart leapt with joy, I'm a warrior! I'm a warrior!

As was custom, Bramblestar touched his muzzle to the top of her head and, just as Ambersky had seen Snowfall do, she licked her clan leader's shoulder, purring. The dark brown tabby tom took a step back, gazing out over his clan.

From the quiet, encouraging yowls began to arise, softly at first, but gradually developing to loud cries, "Snowfall! Dewclaw! Ambersky! Snowfall! Dewclaw! Ambersky!"

The grey-and-white she-cat grinned, soaking up her clanmates support. She managed to seek out Molespots amongst the gathered cats and he gave her a friendly wink. Ambersky's smile grew even brighter.

Her gaze drifted back to her littermates. Dewclaw and Snowfall both stood beside her, eyes shining with pride. Together, they'd uncovered the prophecy, together they'd set out on the journey and together they'd fulfilled the prophecy. Now, here they were, warriors, standing together. Ambersky knew, that in this moment, there was no place she'd rather be.

Redpaw

After their first night in SkyClan's new camp, there was a great sense of joy rippling through those of SkyClan. As they now gathered, beneath The Rock-pile in the centre of the hollow which seemed to have become their new place to hold clan meetings, Redpaw, however, couldn't help but feel sadness rising within her. It had been so odd, awakening to the realisation that Dewpaw, Snowpaw and Amberpaw were no longer amongst them, but back in ThunderClan.

Whitepaw had tried to cheer her up, but Redpaw couldn't shake off this sadness just like that, it lingered, like an unwanted guest. The tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat had managed to keep smiling, but she felt little enthusiasm as she sat herself beside her sister, green gaze drifting up to where Leafstar was sat upon The Rock-pile.

"Rabbitleap said you went hunting… Did you catch anything?" Whitepaw asked, curiosity pooling behind her green gaze.

Redpaw turned to her sister, giving a small sigh, "Oh, yeah. It was good. We didn't venture too far, but I managed to catch a mouse."

The white apprentice frowned, "Only a mouse? I managed to catch a pigeon and a squirrel earlier."

"At least I caught something!" Redpaw snapped, pelt bristling, "I'm not an amazing hunter like you, Whitepaw! You could at least try not to rub it in my face all the time."

Concern grew in Whitepaw's gaze, joined by a little anger, "You've been like this all day; can't you just lighten up? At least I actually cared to ask how your hunting went!" she studied her sister for a moment, suddenly frowning, "Wait. I know what this is all about. It's Dewpaw, isn't it?"

Sadness sparked inside the young she-cat and suddenly her anger faded, her gaze dropping to her paws. She didn't respond to her sister's question, instead focusing her attention on Leafstar. She could feel Whitepaw's green gaze burning into her side.

"My clan, my wonderful clan," she began, voice warm, "I can't put into words how proud I am right now, proud to be a part of this little group we call SkyClan, proud to be your leader," she paused, blinking, "Although I know many of you, myself included, hold many fond memories back in The Gorge, but I'm sure we'll spend just as many happy days, here, in our new home."

Redpaw gave a little smile, at least attempting to look enthusiastic.

The elderly leader went on, "Future generations will tell of the challenges we endured, being driven from the forest, then having to make the journey to the lake, but I know that we are at last where we belong," she let her gaze wash over her clan, "Our journey may be over, but there are still hardships that we will have to face. Life in a clan isn't easy, as you're all very much aware, but we make it work because we know it's worth it. It's worth it, like the long, cold days of leaf-bare are worth it to feel the warmth of green-leaf on our pelts. We will endure the hardships to come and in the end, I promise, we will come out stronger than before."

Redpaw couldn't help but give a mental sigh. Was that all Leafstar had gathered them for? She had been hoping that it would be something a little more exciting. Just as she went to rise to her paws and break apart from the rest of the clan, Leafstar continued.

"But that isn't the only reason I called this meeting. Firstly, I believe Stormwhisker and Sparrowfoot have an announcement?" she let her amber gaze drift to the grey-and-ginger warrior and her mate, expectant.

The two warriors rose to their paws. Sparrowfoot seemed a little nervous to be standing in front of the whole of the clan, but Stormwhisker was far more confident, standing tall, amber eyes bright.

"I hope our new Nursery is as comfortable as the Warriors' Den because I'm expecting Sparrowfoot's kits!" Stormwhisker announced, delight sparking in her amber gaze. Sparrowfoot, though painfully shy to be in front of so many cats, shared in his mate's excitement, eyes dancing with happiness, though mixed with a little worry for his mate.

Mews of congratulations shot through the clan, Leafstar herself purring softly at her daughter's news. More kits meant more warriors for the clan, which was always welcomed in any clan, but particularly SkyClan; compared to the other clans, the fifth clan had a bit of growing left to do.

As the murmurs died down, Leafstar, much to Redpaw's surprise, continued to speak, "There's one last thing I need to do," she whispered softly, rising from her seated position to stand tall before adding, much louder, "There are two young cats amongst us who I believe are due a certain ceremony any day now."

Redpaw blinked in confusion, surely she can't mean… Whitepaw and I? Our warrior ceremony? At last managing to brush off the sadness, or at least temporarily, Redpaw quickly perked up. Suddenly very self-conscious she made a brief attempt to smooth down her pelt.

"Redpaw, Whitepaw, if you'll please step forward?"

Trembling with excitement, Redpaw gave a wide, white-fanged grin, vibrant green eyes bright with surprise. Whitepaw blinked calmly, confidently striding forwards to stand beside her sister, her green eyes failing to reveal any emotions. It was only the occasional quivering of her tail that told Redpaw how excited her littermate really was.

Leafstar met Redpaw's excited gaze for a moment before beginning the ceremony, closing her eyes and reciting the familiar lines, "I, Leafstar, leader of SkyClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these two apprentices, Both have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code," she paused, amber gaze drifting down to the two apprentices, then smiled, "and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn."

The brown-and-cream tabby began to leap down the Rock-pile, drawing to a halt before Whitepaw and Redpaw. She turned to the white apprentice first, amber gaze warm.

"Whitepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?

There was no hesitation in Whitepaw's response, "I do."

Leafstar gave a little smile, "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Whitepaw, from this moment you will be known as Whitefern. StarClan honours your independence and strength, and we welcome you as a full warrior of SkyClan," she finished with a wide grin, amber gaze swelling with pride. Stepping forward, Leafstar rested her muzzle on Whitefern's head for a heartbeat before pulling away.

The newly named warrior smiled politely, leaning forward to lick her leader's shoulder, as was tradition. Leafstar paused in the ceremony for a moment before moving onto Redpaw.

The tortoiseshell-and-white apprentice quivered with apprehension, green eyes wide. The SkyClan leader began to speak once more, "Redpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" she asked, meeting the young she-cat's gaze.

Redpaw squirmed, unable to sit still, "I do!" she chirruped enthusiastically, holding her clan leader's gaze with surprising ease.

The brown-and-cream tabby blinked, "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name," she purred, "Redpaw, from this moment you will be known as Redflower. StarClan honours your energy and determination, and we welcome you as a full warrior of SkyClan."

"Redflower…" the tortoiseshell-and-white warrior let the name roll off her tongue, eager to test it out. Redflower… Redflower!

"Whitefern! Redflower! Whitefern! Redflower!" the enthusiastic calling of her clanmates began to arise, echoing around the red-stone hollow.

The tortoiseshell-and-white warrior raised her head to the sky, which was painted a fading blue and streaked with red and amber clouds. In that moment she felt lifted, feeling the wind rush through her tortoiseshell-and-white patched pelt. She smiled, but as she went to open her eyes once more, she was sure she heard a voice on the wind, a warning.

"It's not yet over."

Redflower blinked. Whether she'd just imagined that voice or not, it was certainly true. SkyClan's journey was not yet over, they still had a long way to go before they'd be truly settled beside the lake. But for now, the SkyClan warrior just smiled, letting out a soft purr, and enjoying the fading sunlight's gentle warmth.

Oh my gosh guys, that was the last chapter of A Journey! Now it's Eye of the Storm! :D Do you like all their warrior names? Ooh, just thought I'd tell you, this really weird thing happened when I was writing the reunion between Seedflight and Snowpaw. I was listening to music and this one song came on and the lyrics were 'I'm coming home to you' and I just thought that was so coincidental...

Anyway, live, love, read and review! I'll reply to all your reviews by PM for this one :3
