"Wow I had no idea. I mean Britt made it seem like you two were still together." Sabrina told him.

"She did, did she? Well we aren't. Sabrina," he said taking her hand in his. "I wouldn't have kissed you if we were. When I kissed you a few days ago I can't imagine what you must have been thinking."

"I had no idea what to think. I had to talk to Felix about it. I thought...well I thought it must have been a mistake. That you just did it in the moment and regretted it later."

"Definitely not. I have been wanting to do that for a long time." He told her leaning in again to press his lips to hers. Her mind was racing a mile a minute. She couldn't believe this was actually happening. Could he really have feelings for her too? When they pulled apart for lack of air her face quickly turned bright red and she looked away nervously with a small giggle. She felt like this whenever he was around, Patrick Drake could reduce her to her former high school self butterflies and all.

"Your cute when you do that, you know." He said reaching out and moving a lock of her hair behind her ear.

"Do what?"

"Blush like that, It's adorable." He said with a huge grin.

She just laughed and he realized that the movie had ended, probably a long time ago. "I would like to take you out on a proper date."

"I'd love that."

"How about this weekend?"

They agreed on Friday night and he walked her to the door, kissing her goodnight one more time before she headed down the driveway to her car. He couldn't help but watch her from the doorway with a huge smile on his face.

The next day Sabrina had to day off and decided to go for a walk in the park when her phone rang. "Hello." She said not looking at the call display.

"Hi."

"Hey you." She said smiling when she realized who it was.

"I know you probably already have plans for today but I need to ask you a favor and you can say no."

"Sure what is it?"

"I know this is kinda last minute but I was wondering if you could watch Emma after school today. I have a surgery that I can't really get out of."

"Of course I would love to spend some time with her. Do i need to pick her up?" She asked .

"Yes is that alright?"

"Of course. Don't worry about a thing I'll be there."

"Thank you. I can't wait for our date this weekend."

"Me too."

Sabrina showed up at Emma's school just before the bell rang signaling the end of the day. She waited at the bottom of the steps as the doors opened and kids rushed out. Seeing Emma she waved and the little girl raced over to her, "Sabrina! What are you doing here?" She asked with a huge smile.

"Your daddy asked if I could pick you up today. We're gonna hang out until he comes home ok?"

"Yay!" She yelled excitedly jumping up and down.

Sabrina took her backpack as they headed for her car. "What are we gonna do today?" Emma asked as she climbed in the backseat.

"Whatever you want sweetie."

"Can we play my new game?"

"Sure we can." Sabrina said as she pulled out of the parking lot.

When they got to the house Emma raced inside, "I'll get it ready." Sabrina laughed at how excited she was. In her rush to play the game she had dropped her bag and coat on the floor and she bent to pick them up.

Emma got the game ready and handed her a controller. "Ok so what do we have to do?" Sabrina asked looking at the screen.

"You just have to follow the person and do what they do. It's so much fun. What song should we do?" She asked scrolling through the songs.

They settled on Call Me Maybe since they had performed it at the Nurses Ball. "This is fun." Sabrina said as they danced around the living room. They were laughing and giggling when Patrick walked in. They didn't even notice him so he just stood there in the doorway watching them together.

Sabrina was smiling and laughing and to him she had never looked more beautiful than in that moment. He had never seen her dance before other than her little performance at the Nurses Ball but she was good at it. And she was so good with Emma and he knew that Emma loved her too. He wondered why it took him so long to see what was right in front if him.

"Are my girls having fun?" He asked startling Sabrina enough that she jumped and whipped around to look at him. When their eyes met her face started to turn bright red. 'Did he really just call me his girl?' She thought to herself.

"P...Patrick how long have you been standing there?" She asked.

"Long enough." He said with a smirk, he knew she was embarrassed but he kinda liked teasing her.

"Sabrina the songs not done yet." Emma told her.

"Oh sorry sweetie. Um Patrick why don't you join us?" She asked turning back to the screen.

"Daddy never plays with me when I ask him." Emma said without looking away from the tv.

"Maybe just this once." He said as he went to pick up the extra controller and stood next to Sabrina. "Ok so how do I do this." Soon the three of them were dancing around looking like fools but having a blast.
