~Chapter 2~

{In the classroom}

Gumi's POV

"Len," I whispered. "Len, Len!"

He won't turn around, he was just two chairs in front of me.

Ehhhh. I need to tell him something. No matter. I'll just write it in a piece of paper...

Len's POV

"Len,"

Ugh.

"Len, Len!"

She's so annoying...

...She stopped.

"Yes...finally." I've been trying to ignore her ever since classes started. I remember what happened earlier when I let her enter the classroom first, then she tripped. Being the one behind her, I tripped too. I heard some snickering.

I sighed. She's still the same Gumi...

"Pssst, Len. Here." Kaito whispered from behind, and handed me a folded piece of paper.

I opened it to find out that it was from Gumi.

Len! Can't you hear me? I was calling you! Anyway, I have a question to ask you...

Can I borrow your pen? Mine's missing...

-Gumi

"WHAT THE HECK?" She didn't know that she already used her "missing" pen while she was writing this letter to me?!

"Len, is there something wrong?" The teacher said.

Oops.

"Oh, nothing. Sorry, ma'am." The teacher gave me a warning glare before going back to writing equations on the board.

Ugh. Baka, baka, baka!

Gumi's POV

"WHAT THE HECK?" Len shouted. Geez. Can't I just borrow a pen from him?

"Len, is there something wrong?"

"Oh, nothing. Sorry, ma'am."

After that, I saw Len writing something on the paper I gave him. A couple of minutes have passed and Len passed the paper back to Kaito then to me. He wrote:

If your pen is missing, what did you use to write this letter?!

I look at my right hand to see that my pen's there. Oh, silly me.

"Thanks, Len!" I said.

I saw Len look over to his shoulder then he looked down on his desk. The teacher stopped writing and looked at me then at Len then back to me.

"Miss Megpoid and Mister Kagamine, would you like to share to the class about what you two are doing?" She said. The whole class started a noise.

"Yieeeeeeeeee."

"Way to go, Len!"

"Hitting on new chicks, huh, Len?"

I felt my face heat up...

"Well?" The teacher said, she was still waiting for an answer.

"U-umm..." I stuttered. I look at Len. He was red. I hope I didn't make him angry... I looked to the floor. I don't really know what to say...

"Ma'am, Gumi was just...borrowing a pen from me." Len said. I look at him again. He wasn't red anymore. Maybe, he-

"Mhmm. Yes, well, both of you: see me after class."

Well, I should've just wrote to him back...

Len's POV

"Thanks, Len!"

Damn. Gumi's driving me nuts! I should've never wrote to her back...

"Ms. Megpoid and Mr. Kagamine, would you like to share to the class about what you two are doing?"

"Way to go, Len!"

"Hitting on new chicks, huh, Len?"

This is so humiliating!

"Well?"

"U-umm..." Oh, no. There goes Gumi. Better say something before she embarrasses me further.

"Ma'am, Gumi was just..." Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Miku- crossed-arms and raising a brow while looking at Gumi. Interesting. "...borrowing a pen from me."

"Mhmm. Yes, well, both of you: see me after class."

Great.

{After class}

"Mr. Kagamine, I expected more from you. And Ms. Megpoid, I hope I don't see you doing your little act again throughout the whole school year."

"Yes, ma'am." We said, simultaneously.

"Ms. Megpoid, you are dismissed. I have something to tell to Mr. Kagamine, privately."

"Yes, ma'am."

I saw Gumi slowly walk outside the door and gently closed it.

"Len," She started. "About Gumi...is she your...?"

My...? Oh-

"N-NO!"

She smirked. "Mhmm... Len, I know you're busy being the Communications Director and all but, Gumi's parents wanted Gumi to have a more... mature mind."

"And what does it have to do with me, ma'am?"

"You two should stick together during breaks and times like those so you might influence her."

Ugh. Why me?

"Yes, ma'am."

"Good. Now, get to your next class."

I nodded at her and went outside the class.

...

"So, Len... What did she say?"

"Nothing."

"Okay. Why do you need to be grumpy all the time?"

"No, I'm-!" She grinned at me. "...not."

"Mhmm." She said, raising her brow.

"Okay, okay. Let's just get to the next class."

"Hai!" Gumi said, grabbing my arm.

I felt heat on my face again.

"You're so cute when your face becomes red like that!" She giggled.

"Ha-ha..." I rolled my eyes.

"You know..." She said.

"What?"

"When we were kids, you were always a fun Len. What happened to you?"

"U-umm..." I stuttered. Then I sighed.

She's right. What did happen to me?
