Sorry this chapter came out so late. This was actually finished by the end of March after my exam ended but due to some technical problems, I cannot just copy-and-paste my story, so it took a long time for me to convert all of them to Microsoft word and figuring how to format it. Chapter 15: Winter-Cup Starts

"Your phone is annoying, Kise. Is it Akashi?" Aomine commented, obviously from all the ringing from the blonde's phone. Akashi had summoned all the Generations of Miracles outside the Stadium where winter cup will be held.

Kise checked his phone and gave a serious look. "It's… a text from a fangirl." He answered seriously.

"Go Die!" Aomine cursed immediately.

On the other side of the stairs was Murasakibara, trying to open his bag of potato chips. When he noticed Midorima's lucky item for the day, he gave up opening with his bare hands and went for the easy way. "Mido-chin, let me borrow those scissors."

"I refuse." Midorima rejected after giving a shot sigh.

"Eh~ don't be so stingy. Mido-chin is stingy!" A tick appeared on Midorima's head upon comment. "Ki-chin, mine-chin do you have any?"

"No" both replied at the same time. "Anyway, why is the last person who summoned us here, the last to reach?" Kise complained.

"Kuroko is also not here yet –nanodayo" Midorima corrected.

"That's mean Midorima-kun, Kise-kun. I was here from the start." Kuroko suddenly appeared beside Midorima.

"Uwaa! Kurokocchi!" Kise shouted. Though Midorima still appeared calm, truth was that he was also shocked by Midorima's appearance.

"I apologize that I've kept you waiting" Akashi announced his arrival., interrupting their conversation at the same time. "Daiki, Ryota, Shintaro, Atsushi and Tetsuya. I'm glad to see you again. I'm deeply moved we were all able to meet like this." He said.

"Hah? What's this?" A voice interrupted them. His hand slung around Kuroko's shoulder.

"Kagami-kun." Kuroko turned back to see who was behind him.

"It seems that there's someone who doesn't belong here. I wish to spear only to my former teammates right now. Sorry, but could you leave?" His voice was calm but menacing. 'Who are you to get so close to MY Tetsuya.' was his real thought.

"Well you are no fun. Don't exclude me." the said person answered.

"Shintaro, could I borrow those scissors?" Akashi ignored Kagami and continued his conversation.

"What are you going to use them for?" Midorima asked, hesitating. Well, any sharp object that reach Akashi's hand is dangerous. He did not want to witness the death of someone before him.

"My hair is annoying me. I've been wanting to trim it. Before that…" He walked towards Kagami. "You're Kagami-kun, aren't you?" He attacked Kagami with those scissors without an ounce of hesitation. Kagami merely dodged them, causing a thin cut on his face.

'What!?'

"Kagami-kun!" Kuroko sounded surprised.

"Heh… I'm surprised that you were able to dodge that. In light of that display of race, I'll forgive you this time. However, there will be no second chance. When I tell you to leave, leave."

'How dare you touch Tetsuya without my permission. I won't let you off this easily if there will even be a next time.' Is what he really thought.

He began trimming his fringe. "In this world, winning is everything. Winners are affirmed completely and losers are denied completely. I've never lost at anything before, and I never will. Because I always win, I am always right. I show no mercy to those who oppose me. Not even my parents."

"Che" Kagami growled. He could not say anything to that. Not that he knows Akashi's real thought.

"Well, I'm leaving. I just wanted to say hello to everyone today. Let's go, Tetsuya." He turned his back and left, Kuroko following behind.

"What? Don't be ridiculous, Akashi! You summoned us just for that?" Aomine shouted. Obviously not happy with why Akashi called them out.

"No…" Akashi answered. "I actually wanted to confirm something but after seeing your faces, I realized there was no need. No one has forgotten our promise. Everything's fine then. The next time we meet will be on the court." He turned to glare at Aomine. "And don't think I've already forgiven you, Daiki." He added before leaving.

Omake:

Kuroko: Sei... You could have gone to the barber if you want to trim your fringe, why did you cut it? I like your previous hairstyle better.

Akashi: It's faster this way. Does that mean you don't like me anymore with this hairstyle?

Kuroko: ... *looks away*

Akashi: I shouldn't have cut it! It's not like I can tell him I came up with an excuse to borrow Shintaro's scissors so that i can punish that Bakagami for getting close to you and hanging his arms around your shoulder!

So how's the omake? It's an apology for late update. Btw there is something i want to ask. Do you want Seirin or Rakuzan to win the finals or do you wait for the manga? Cause I can still end the story wither way. And one more thing, Mayuzumi Chihiro will not appear in this story as there is no need for Akashi to look for a replacement for Kuroko.

And my reply to Dragonblaze66, since there are also some who asked the same question, I'll answer it here.

Q: How did Kagami beat Kise without Kuroko?

A: Just to mention, I did not consider much when I first started writing this story. As Riko's father mentioned in the cannon, Kagami grew to rely too much on Kuroko, so in this case without Kuroko, Kagami here will be much stronger than in the cannon. If I happen to come out with a reasonable story, I'll post it here.

Q: So no cannon winter match?

A: The winter cup will go on as usual except for the finals where you guys will decide. As for the other Seirin matches, I'll try to make it more reasonable so that Seirin will still win without Kuroko.
