Guys! I got anxiety writing this chapter! Full fledged tightness in my chest WRITING about this, ugh! I always have trouble with the unneeded stupidity of people in relationships, especially in boy love manga/stories. Hope you enjoy!

"Come to Egypt? Well, we would love to have you Joey, but have you talked to Kaiba about this? By the way you're talking, you're not planning to bring him along, huh?" The voice softened with realization as the smaller duelist began to ask deeper questions. "Are you guys fighting, Joey?"

"N-no! We're not…fighting…per say. Just, I saw something, and I got upset and I think I need to be away from him for a little bit. Is it okay if I come visit?" The blonde's voice trembled softly as he pleaded with his best friend. He listened carefully, hearing someone talking in the background.

"I'm sorry Atem, did I wake you? ...No, it's Joey. He said he wants to visit… Yeah… I know, but maybe it'll be for the best… I guess that's true." A soft kiss was heard over the phone, "I'll be there soon… Joey?"

"A-ah! Yes! I'm here!"

"Atem thinks before you make such a big decision you should talk to Kaiba about what you saw, about what upset you. Maybe it's nothing! It won't do you any good to be so far away from him not knowing. Of course, you can still visit, but both Atem and I think you should talk first." Yugi's voice was always so loving and soft, "Just let me know your plans, okay?"

"I'm coming…tomorrow if that's okay." His voice trembled more tears stinging his brown eyes. "I-is that okay Yugi?"

A short silence filled the air, "Yeah, that's okay Joey, text me your flight info and we'll pick you up."

"Thank you Yugi…" A soft sigh escaped as he closed his phone. "I…I need to look at flights…"

"Oh, you're going to visit Yugi and Atem!? No fair, I wanna go too!" Mokuba bounced up and down excitedly as Joey got ready for his flight. He had planned and paid for it without telling anyone, let alone Seto. Though using Seto's card, he knew he'd find out eventually, but hopefully not until he's already gone. He was scared but he just wanted to leave for a little while, think about things, see his friends. He'd been feeling really neglected recently.

"Ah, sorry Mokuba but I'm leaving now, and we wouldn't be able to get you a ticket in time," a feeble excuse, considering the boy practically had his own private jet. He could only hope the boy gets the hint that he wants to go alone.

"I get it, I get it. You don't have to treat me like a kid Joey. I'll go get Seto-"

"No!" The dark-haired boy flinched, startled by the sudden yell. "I…I mean, Seto is working, and we already said bye so it's fine. I'm gonna head out now." The smaller boy's face was twisted in concern as the blond hugged him tightly before grabbing his things and shutting the door behind him, leaving a painful silence.

"Are you looking for something Seto? You've been searching around for hours now" The raven-haired boy rolled over on the couch as Kaiba entered the room for the third time in an hour.

Confusion was written on the brunet's face, "Have you seen Joey? I haven't seen him since this morning." He looked out into the hallway before looking back at the small boy with concern.

"What do you mean? He already left for Egypt a few hours ago, did you forget?" He softly grunted as he sat up on the couch and went back to reading his manga.

"WHAT?! What do you mean he went to Egypt?!"

"Seto? What's going on?" Blue hair swayed as Yuki poked her head into the room curiously. Seto was sitting in a chair with his head in his hands, gripping his hair in frustration. "Seto?" She approached him carefully and rubbed his upper back softly, saying his name in a concerned, loving tone.

"Joey left." The brunet relaxed under her touch, pain in his voice as he answered her softly.

"Left? What do you mean he left? Mokuba, what's going on?" Yuki looked toward the boy questioningly, continuing to rub the taller man's back.

"Wait, Joey told me that he said bye to you before he left. He told me he was gonna visit Yugi and Atem in Egypt for a while. I was gonna get you, so we could send him off - but he yelled really loud then told me you were busy and that he'd already said bye to you guys." Big eyes filled with sadness and fear as he stood up in front of the pair, explaining he didn't know what was happening. "Did he not tell you…? Did he leave us…?" Tears formed in blue-grey eyes as fear welled up in the small boy.

"Mokuba, it'll be okay," Yuki bent down and opened her arms, hugging the boy tightly when he fell into her arms. "Joey was just missing his friends, he'll come back to us, I promise." She patted and rubbed his back gently as the boy sobbed. She felt a hand on her back and looked up to meet blue, determined eyes. She nodded slightly up at him as a vibration rang out through the room. The raven haired boy pulled away from Yuki and reluctantly went to check his phone.

"Joey!" Both adults ran to the boy's side looking over his shoulder at the message Joey had sent.

-Hey Mokuba, I just wanted to let you know that I landed for a layover before getting to Egypt. By now Seto and Kaida have probably figured out I'm gone and I'm sure you're pretty beat up that I didn't tell you what was going on. I'm just going to Yugi's to think about some things and take some time away from the loneliness of that mansion. I need to spend some time with friends…figure stuff out. I love you Mokuba, you can call me whenever while I'm gone. Tell Seto not to call or visit...-

"Seto? What did you do to Joey? What's going on?" Mokuba looked up at the two with worry, a hint of anger could be seen in his eyes, which were red from crying. He watched as Yuki looked up at Seto, a deeply sad look spreading across her face as she took the brunet's hand and squeezed it softly.

"I'm sorry Seto…" She whispered quietly as she looked down, a feeling of extreme guilt welling up inside of her. "I should've trusted you, since you know him better than I do, but I told you it would be fine even though I didn't know him well enough to make that determination." She looked up as she felt Kaiba squeeze her hand back.

"It's fine. I should've known better, but I still let this happen." The brunet turned and began walking toward the door, purple and blue-grey eyes followed. "Mokuba!"

The smaller boy jumped in surprise, "Y-yes big brother?"

"We're going to get our puppy back, any means necessary. Start packing." Purple eyes softened as a smile spread across Yuki's face.

"But Joey said for you not to come!" Mokuba's voice raised with worry as he rushed to follow after Seto out of the living room.

"Yeah, he almost immediately decided to go and get him. Not that I'm surprised, of course. I hope Joey forgives me, I didn't know he would have such a hard time with me taking so much of Seto's time…" A soft, feminine voice filled the otherwise quiet room. The glare of a computer screen illuminated her face as she spoke to the individual on the other side.

"It's not your fault Yuki! Joey has just always had a hard time relying on anyone for anything. But when Kaiba came into the picture he gave him everything, even trusting him enough to take care of his dad, which is something he never even let me help with. Kaiba and Mokuba have been everything to him since he moved in there, it's just difficult for him to be alone after all the doting Kaiba did at the beginning." A small, sweet voice rang out in the room, attempting to comfort the small woman.

"Yugi is right, you didn't do anything wrong. Joey is just a sensitive individual, it wouldn't take much to make him feel neglected. Kaiba's work habits always had me worried about the relationship, though Joey says you guys were working more than usual?" A deeper voice came from the computer, questioning the reasons for their extreme work habits. Purple eyes closed as a soft sigh escaped Yuki's lips.

"We are working on a very big project at the moment. In fact, I was toying with the idea of including the two of you in the project as well. Seeing as how important you are in the Duel Monsters community, I think your endorsement of our project would be very beneficial. I should start packing, Seto wants to leave as soon as possible. Are you sure this is a good idea? You guys know Joey better than I do, but he said not to come..."

Laughter filled the room as Yuki looked on in confusion. A deep voice explained away her confusion, "It's exactly what he wants, Yuki. Nothing would show him of Seto's love and devotion more than jumping on a plane and following him across the world to bring him home."

"How romantic!" The smaller duelist interrupted his significant other excitedly.

"I see," a smile could be heard in her voice, "well then I will discuss the project more at length when we get there. Yugi, Atem, thank you. See you soon." The room grew dark as she shut down the computer and stood from her desk. "Here we go."

GUUUUUUUUUUYS! I'm getting it back! What, you say? My groove! Haha! I'm trying really hard to get my grades up this year, so I can graduate, but having an hour or so between classes really helps me move this story along. I'm getting excited about it again! I'm sorry there haven't been more crazy confrontations, but I don't want to make this too intense. I figured the standard lover's quarrel would suffice Thank you for reading so far! 3
