"Every act of rebellion expresses a nostalgia for innocence and an appeal to the essence of being."

Albert Camus, The Rebel: An Essay on Man in Revolt

"Lord Sesshomaru, welcome back!", the young fifteen year old shouted towards her lord who had, just now, arrived back from the half-demon's village. Behind her lord was her reprimanding friend Jaken, who was out of breath from the long walk. She sighed happily upon the sight of them; she was glad that they had come back safely. Not that she worried much though; this was Sesshomaru after all. And Jaken.

Sesshomaru gave the girl a quick glance-over before heading towards his quarters. Rin watched his every move; each step he took was graceful. Every move of his silvery hair reminded her of the winters that her, her lord, and Jaken had experienced. If only we could have more of those...She thought, her face twisted into one of thought.

Ever since Naraku had been defeated, everything had become...uninteresting. She could remember how sweet her mornings were when she woke up to the smell of Kaede boiling tea or of the woman's silent conversations with Inuyasha and the miko. She even missed the blabbering and high pitched screams that Miroku and Sango's children used to make in the morning to get her to play with them. It was ironic how in that small, brittle like hut she seemed to have everything; but here...

Rin gave a sad half-smile.

Once she heard Sesshomaru's chamber door closed, Rin's smile dropped into a devious smirk. She turned quickly towards the green imp, a devious spark in her eyes.

"How was your walk, toad?"

Jaken gawked at her disrespect before angrily swinging his staff towards her head. The grinning teen quickly ducked and ran towards the flowery garden, Jaken tailing behind her.

The girl liked teasing Jaken; it reminded her of the times when she would mock him just to see his green face turn purple from anger. That's what she missed in her life - moments like these.

Rin stopped at a large oak tree and looked around for Jaken, a wide smile on her face.

Her smile dropped when she say that he had stopped midway, his wide eyes wider than before and his mouth open in shock.

A concerned look crossed the girl's face as she stared at her green companion. "Jaken, what is the matter? Why are you looking at me like that?"

Surely there couldn't be a demon in her lord's vicinity; Sesshomaru's lands were considered the safest this side of the forests.

The toad suddenly dropped his stunned look and raced toward the girl at full speed before jumping and whacking her on the head.

Rin held her head and dropped to her knees. "What the hell, Master Jaken! What did you do that for?!", she yelled at her, not noticing how she had cursed at her master.

Jaken dismissed her cursing, more concerned on the topic at hand."You stupid girl! You've been with those filthy ningens again!"

Rin paused at his statement, her eyes widening a bit. She had thought for sure that she had bathed away the scent before the two came back.

The demon toad continued. "You are lucky that Lord Sesshomaru didn't notice! Milord would have surely been insulted!" He whacked her head again.

Agitated, the girl rubbed her head. "I'll be careful next time then. I promise."

Rin hurriedly left the garden and went towards the hot spring; she had to wash the scent off. Jaken watched as the girl left, worry etched over his features.

I feel guilty for giving her a reprimanding hand, but it's better for me to than Lord Sesshomaru., he thought to himself. Surely Rin didn't think that she could continue to fool Sesshomaru?

Jaken gulped. If it was one thing Sesshomaru couldn't stand, it was a liar and a traitor, and what Rin was doing was could be considered betrayal towards not only Sesshomaru, but his lands.

He looked towards the heavens. Please don't let Rin get caught.

The young girl walked down the hallway with slowed steps, trying to avoid having to see the seamstresses for too long. Tonight she would have dinner with her lord and his allies, so she had to make a good impression. Every Lord in his kingdom had heard of the tale of Sesshomaru's deep hate for ningen; who would have thought that he would have a ningen on his land, a female ningen at that. Rin sighed and rolled her eyes. She had to leave a good impression on his allies; maybe this would show them that humans weren't food, but actual people that had morals and values just as they did. She wanted to show them that a human could be as civilized and as decent as any noble demon.

Rin yelped as she was pushed against the wall.

Bright green eyes met hers, which caused Rin to let out a sigh of relief.

"Umi, you scared the crap out of me. Don't do that again.", Rin reprimanded the demon girl.

Umi leaned closer to Rin, her red, curly hair falling over her shoulder as he emerald gems scanned the dark-haired girl up and down.

"Why so tense? You know you like this.", Umi suggested, causing Rin to roll her eyes and push the girl back.

"No, I don't. Trust me."

The demon girl mocked a sad impression. "I'm heartbroken. How could you deny me?"

Rin rolled her eyes at the dramatic facial expression. "What do you want?"

Umi's grin came back onto her face.

"Prince Ritoshi's throwing together a little shindig tonight and you're going."

Rin looked off in thought in the direction of Sesshomaru's room. Sneaking past a demon like him was an insult to her lord, and right now she didn't want to get caught sneaking out. Not when she was had his full trust.

"I don't know. Lord Sesshomaru's back and I don't want to-"

Umi rolled her eyes.

"Oh come on Rin. You absolutely have to go this time." Rin bit her lip in anxious and in thought, causing Umi to sigh in irritation. "Don't tell me Lord Sesshomaru's got you whipped?!"

Rin frowned at her friend's expression relating to her lord. "O-Of course he doesn't." Umi looked at her with unbelieving eyes. Rin sighed. "I've snuck out many times with you and Erin. I just don't want to risk getting caught; a lot of mi'lord's allies are coming for dinner and may bed here for the night. If they catch me sneaking out, they'll think that all humans are deceiving and pathetic."

Umi rolled her eyes and grabbed the steaming girl's shoulders.

"Prince Ritoshi asked me to personally invite you."

Rin blinked, thinking that she may have misheard the comment. "He what?", she asked, a blush making its way up her neck.

Umi smirked. Got her...

"Yup, he sure did. Even made sure to insinuate that he thought you were pretty and funny upon meeting you a couple of weeks ago at his father's ball. He even said that he invited humans, Rin! Humans!", Umi emphasized, making Rin blush even more.

Prince Ritoshi? The Prince Ritoshi?! The Prince that Rin had thought stunning when she had first met him? The tall, blue-eyed, dark-haired handsome Prince and heir of the Northern Lands? Rin could feel herself shaking. She couldn't believe it. Suddenly the thought of getting caught didn't seem so bad anymore.

"I still don't know. What if Lord Sesshomaru catches me? I can't take that risk.", Rin started.

Umi sighed at the girl's stubbornness. Would she really deny Ritoshi?

"Please Rin! Don't break the guy's heart now. Erin even agreed to come! You have to go."

Rin sighed under pressure. She had been to a party yesterday and had snuck out; could she sneak out again without being caught by Lord Sesshomaru? What could go wrong? Ritoshi's face popped up in her head.

Rin groaned as her mind was made up. "Where is it going to be?" Just this last time and that's it, The girl promised herself.

Too bad promises were meant to be broken.

Rin watched the clock anxiously as the one of the seamstresses tightened her dress around her waist, making her hitch in a quick breath. It seemed that ten o'clock was approaching faster than she thought. The demon seamstress sniffed the girl's nervousness.

"Do not worry yourself, Lady Rin. Lord Sesshomaru's guests are of good attitude tonight. Consider it an honor for Mi'lord to invite you to such an important feast; not even Master Jaken was ordered to attend this event. Mi'lord must really value your presence."

Or maybe he just wants to show me off...Rin let a low frown come to her face before the seamstress gave another tug at the dress, causing the girl to grunt in pain.

That's what she hated about demons; they always felt the need to prove that they were 'demon' enough or stronger than others. Whatever happened to humility? Respect?

If only she knew.

Rin stepped off the small stoll before bowing. "Thank you."

With that, she left on down the hall, the corset on her dress becoming tighter with each breath.

"Damn this contraption.", she muttered, wishing that she could have just put on a kimono and an obi. But no, the seamstresses were determined to give her the most difficult and dressy thing in the who place. She hadn't even known what a corset was until today.

She sighed stubbornly and lifted her skirts off the floor, her bare feet and legs being in full view. Hopefully the guests wouldn't mind looking at her wiggling toes at the feast. Maybe that would want to lobe one of her toes off and keep it for a snack later.

She smirked at that thought.

Rin was so caught up in her thoughts that she had almost ran into a servant on the way, only to find out that it was Erin, her fellow demon companion. The blonde-haired girl held a silver platter in her hand, having just came from setting up the table with the appetizers. Erin smirked and help up two of her long fingers before sliding past Rin, but not before pinching the back of the girl's dress.

Rin rolled her eyes at the girl's gesture before continuing on. It was eight o'clock already; two more hours.

The dark-haired girl stopped in front of the large slide door. She let in a breath before letting out one. She knew that her lord could sense her, so she quickly threw some curly hair over her shoulder before letting a smile grace her lips. She slowly slid open the door, taking in a sharp intake of air.

Lord Sesshomaru and his special guests were already at the long, neatly situated table. All fifteen of them. Rin gulped at the amount of eyes on her. When she was told that it would be allies, she thought about four or five kings. She stood still for a moment, a red blush on her cheeks from shyness and anxiousness. She watched as the guests stood up, which only caused her to get more nervous.

Rin suddenly squeaked as she remembered; she quickly bowed deeply in front of the men. "Good evening to you a-all. I'm, uh, Rin." She mentally cursed herself for forgetting her own name.

She soon looked up and witnessed the demon men bowing to her as well, a stoic expression on their faces. "It's a pleasure to finally get to see the woman that has been keeping Lord Sesshomaru occupied.", one of the men laughed, earning him a nudge in the ribs from one of the other Lords.

Her brown eyes shifted to Sesshomaru, who was staring at her openly. She gulped again. His eyes were judging her.

Stop judging me...

She gave the men a smile before hurrying over to the only other chair empty, the chair beside Lord Sesshomaru. She noticed how his chair was slightly bigger than all of the other men as well as the chair beside him. Rin brushed it off. It was probably just a coincidence.

One of the men spoke as she quietly sat next to her lord, careful not to brush against his kimono. "It is an honor to grace our eyes upon your lovely face, milady." Rin lightly blushed at the man's comment.

She didn't know how to respond to his comment; she only smiled at him, which caused the demon to wink at her.

She was used to such cat-calls; she had gotten them all the time when she snuck out to gatherings or parties. She had even gotten them from some of the demon male servants in the palace, however she didn't dare let Jaken know that. He would only blabber such things off to Sesshomaru.

Chatter between the men and her lord started to occur and Rin started to tune them out once her eyes found the giant clock on the other side of the room. Three minutes to nine. Her heart started to speed up. Never had she tried to sneak out of the palace with her lord around, never. She never took risks with going, either.

"I'm sure you've heard of the revolt going on in the East to overthrow Lord Izien, Lord Sesshomaru? A few of the demons have been killed by a few of the local ningen villages in the area.", one of the men started, causing Rin to snap out of her daydream.

"I have.", Sesshomaru simply answered, his face unreadable.

Rin glanced over at him, trying not to blatantly stare in his face; it was considered disrespectful.

"What action do you suggest take place? I'm more than positive that the East kingdom is on the verge of cleaning out all the people of the villages.", another demon asked, his red eyes looking towards the Stoic Sesshomaru in question.

Rin looked down at the table and bit her lip. So many people could end up dead, but would it matter? They were only humans - not strong, significant demons like the men she sat with. She almost wondered what her lord would say to such a question, considering he had a ningen at his side at the moment.

"What do you think, Rin?"

The girl almost chocked on her own breath. She looked up at Sesshomaru to find him glancing down at her, his bright eyes looking into her dark ones.

On the outside she stared in shock, but on the inside another emotion was overcoming her. Excitement.

Did her lord really ask her opinion on such a matter? Did he really find her that important?

"Well?", a demon asked, a slight frown on his features.

Rin shook her head and quickly thought about the question.

"We can't really take any sides in the matter at the moment without knowing the cause of this sudden revolt. We won't be able to gain support from the East nor the villagers because of all of the allies that we have and how little humans live in these kingdoms.", Rin contemplated. " I suggest sending word to Lord Inuyasha since he is more experienced in taking care of matters that involve humans, considering he's...half ningen, and is ruling over a village full of humans. I'm sure he would be more than willing to settle the dispute for us; that miko of his will make sure that the job is done.", Rin answered, her face in concentrated thought at the question.

The men around the table shook their heads in agreement. "Involving ourselves in such matters are somewhat troublesome, and I have heard many rumors of Lord Inuyasha settling larger disputes in the past. Wasn't he also involved in taking down Naraku?"

Sesshomaru nodded and glanced over at the girl. "It is settled - Inuyasha will handle it."

Rin bit her lip, trying to hide the smiling she was holding in.

"You're such a catch Lady Rin; beautiful and smart.", a demon stated as he stared at her, his grey eyes twinkling. "Impressive for a ningen. You'll cause an uproar once the ningens get a look at you..."

Impressive...for a ningen...

That hit Rin, knocking her off her high horse.

She suddenly felt less than the demons in the room; the demon and ningen standard started once again. She didn't dare look for Sesshomaru to defend her; he probably felt he same way.

Did they really think that humans were the scum of the Earth?

Chatter between the men and her lord started to occur and Rin started to tune them out once her eyes found the giant clock on the other side of the room. Three minutes to nine. Her heart started to speed up. Never had she tried to sneak out of the palace with her lord around, never. She never took risks with going, either.

She had been to many secret parties and gatherings before with her friends Umi and Erin. Yes, they had been wild parties, too. There was sake, streaking, and lots of kissing and sex; Rin never participated in the latter, but drink she did. It was a way to escape her problems for a couple of hours.

Rin glanced down at her glass that was being filled, already desiring the slight burn of the saki she would receive tonight.

The chatter quieted down a bit once the food came out, which Rin was glad for. She looked at the clock again. Nine twenty. Rin's stomach gurgled in nervousness and she suddenly felt bile started to come up her throat. She grabbed her chopsticks and started to tamper with them, trying to stay as still as possible.

"Rin."

Rin looked over in Sesshomaru's direction, meeting his golden eyes. She wondered if all he say in them were ningen as well. She looked away from her lord, suddenly feeling rather pathetic under his stare.

"May I be excused for a spell, mi'lord?"

He stared at her a little more; she felt that he was trying to see if she was lying. Of course, he couldn't possibly trust a ningen.

She almost rolled her eyes at the demon.

Anger started to form within her.

"You may."

Rin quickly stood and bowed before the demon men before hiking up her skirts and running to the nearest restroom.

Sesshomaru watched, his eyes never leaving her small frame.

The girl hovered over the toilet and vomited; her nerves were all over the place.

Rin flushed the bowl and washed her hands. "Pff, impressive for a ningen. That vile, disgusting demon. How dare he say such things.", she muttered to herself.

That demon had pissed her off, but Sesshomaru pissed her off even more although she wouldn't admit it. He didn't even say anything to defend her...

She then looked into the mirror at her reflection. She brushed a few strands from her eyes and wiped a bit of makeup from her mouth. Overall, she found herself desirable and beautiful, maybe only to mostly to human men, but nonetheless, beautiful. Not as beautiful as Kagome or Sango though, which was why they found such good spouses. She was convinced that she would never meet men as nice and as kind as Miroku or Inuyasha. They came from a completely different generation.

Perhaps, Prince Ritoshi... Rin blushed at the thought, suddenly remembering that time was winding down.

She exited the bathroom and looked at the nearby clock again. Nine thirty. She let out a slight breath before staring down at the dinning room door. She decided that she would just leave now; Sesshomaru wouldn't be concerned with her folly anyway. Rin turned on her heel, quickly stepping down the hall towards the steps of the palace.

She quickly stopped when a maid demoness came out of nowhere, nearly frightening the girl.

"Lady Rin, Lord Sesshomaru has asked me to see you off to bed.", the maid bowed before grabbing the girl's wrist and leading her towards Rin's room.

Rin frowned in irritation.

Dammit.

"Goodnight Mi'lady.", the demoness' voice drifted throughout the room as the door closed to Rin's room. The girl groaned and turned on her side facing away from the window, anger on her features.

"I'm not a child. Why does he keep on treating me as if I am?", Rin complained to herself, feeling an annoyance towards her lord.

She had bet it was nine forty-seven now. She didn't know why, but she felt like hitting Jaken.

Looks like I won't get to see Ritoshi now. That thought made her ball her fist into her covers. Why is the world so cruel?

This was something that Rin hardly ever had the chance of thinking about; courting. She always wanted a relationship with one of the opposite sex; the only other relationship that she had had besides Jaken and Lord Sesshomaru had been Kohaku, and it had been years since she had even seen him.

Rin sighed in frustration. Would she ever get to court? Would it even be possible for her to do so when her lord was always nearby? Would he jealous?

Rin snorted. He would probably be overjoyed; he wouldn't have to take care of a ningen.

She felt herself getting angry for a moment before she sighed and let it go. The only demon that probably had any romantic feeling toward her wouldn't get to see her tonight, all because of Sesshomaru. She pouted and buried her head in her pillow.

A knock was heard outside her window, which caused her to jump up from her drifting slumber.

Rin backed away from the window and heard another knock.

"Wench, I know you're there. Open this window."

A grin made it's way to Rin's face as recognized the voice of her friend, Erin. She quickly ran towards the big window and unlatched the lock, letting in the hot air. In stepped Erin and Umi, all dressed up in their elaborate and surprisingly fitted kimonos.

"How did you guys know I was in my room?", Rin asked, watching as Umi stretched out her back.

Erin turned towards Rin's dresser and lit a small candle, which lit up the room a bit; the blonde whipped her hair at the girl.

"We knew that if your ass wasn't outside by the time the chamber maids started cleaning that Lord Sesshomaru had sent you off to bed. What kind of excuse did you use?"

Rin bounced towards her closet and pulled out the dress Umi bought her. "I just asked him if I could be excused.", she lifted the short dress up for a moment before a smile came to her face.

"Did you use that baby talk against him?", Umi teased, causing Rin to roll her eyes.

"You little tramp!", said the grinning blonde. Rin quickly slipped out of her sleeping kimono and into the dress, which brushed the middle of her thigh. The girl then grabbed her shoes and turned towards the grinning demon girls.

"You harlots ready?", she asked as she threw her hair over her shoulder.

Erin blew out the candle and climbed out the window followed by Rin and Umi.

Umi's voice drifted off towards the woods.

"You know we are!"

It was on.

The party was towards another ningen village again, which caused Rin to groan for the millionth time that day. Jaken would surely smell it on her in the morning. The girls came upon the huge, elaborate house in the middle of town. Rin noticed that both demons and humans attended the party, just like Umi had said they would.

Her heart fluttered as she thought of the Prince.

"Oh hell yeah, this party is already the best I've been to. ", Erin replied while flipping her blonde hair over her shoulder. "Time to find my ningen lover, see ya later, girls." Erin waved them bye as she walked towards a large group of guys, who suddenly stopped their conversation upon the sight of her.

Umi rolled her eyes playfully at Erin and dragged Rin into the house. Once the two entered the house, they marveled at the sight of it.

There were so many people there; everyone seemed to get along so well here.

Why can't all demons and humans get along this well?, Rin questioned as she watched a demon guy chat with a human. She thought back on the conversation held at dinner.

A tap on her shoulder knocked the wallowing girl out of her daze. A guy quickly handed her a bottle of sake before moving towards other waiting hands. This is what I've waited for. Rin quickly downed the bottle before setting it on a nearby table. There was so much going on, so many bad teens. She let in a breath, feeling free and weightless. This was what she craved for; she craved for excitement, a way to escape her problems, love, everything!

"Come on Rin, dance with me!", screamed Umi over the blasting music. A live group of instruments to played so loudly that Rin could barely hear the noisy crowd her or friend. Umi grabbed the girl's hand and dragged her over towards the dance floor.

Soon the music became louder to Rin as she started to dance. She didn't know why, but she couldn't stop. Maybe it was because of that sake she had just drank. Or maybe it was because of Umi's wandering hands on her as they danced together. It didn't matter though. Everyone was free - she, Rin, was free.

Another bottle was given to the girl and, once again, she downed it.

"Woo-hoo! Go Rin!", screamed Erin as she and her 'ningen-lover' headed towards the stairs in the house. A chanting sound started up in the crowd. 'Go Rin, Go Rin!' started up and soon the whole room was chanting her name.

Rin continued to dance until a girl tapped her and pointed towards the back of the dimmed room. Rin blushed as he eyes connected to piercing blue ones. Prince Rotishi. She slowly moved through the crowd, nervous due to his intense stare at her every movement.

The dim light couldn't stop his eyes from glowing brightly when she made it towards him. The girl found herself swooning a little.

His beauty still isn't as grand as mi-lord's...

Where the hell did that come from?

"I didn't expect you to come.", he stated, his voice as charming as any other male's she had ever heard.

Rin shook her head shyly, her curls shaking slightly. "I didn't expect to be here either."

Ritoshi smiled before he looked at the two men at his sides. "Go.", he silently ordered, causing the men to glance at Rin before disappearing into the crowd of dancing bodies. When the prince patted the seat next to him, Rin felt her heart quicken. Ritoshi's smile turned to a smirk.

He knows that my heart's quickening... Rin quickly sat next to him, making to pull down her dress. She suddenly wished she hadn't wore such a dress as her friends had.

"Umi said that you invited me and that you even invited humans to attend tonight.", Rin said before looking him in the eyes. "So, is there something that I need to know about or was this just a good opportunity to get closer to Lord Sesshomaru's most trusted ward."

Ritoshi gave her a smirk. "I let my father attend to matters that concern the Lords. I just simply found you interesting and felt the need to get to know you better."

Rin raised a brow. A demon interested in her? There were many beautiful girls here tonight; Rin was sure that she was towards the bottom of the beauty list.

"Doesn't sound very truthful.", Rin responded before pushing a piece of hair behind her ear. "Why would you, a Prince, want anything to do with a ningen girl - "

"You sound like the people in my kingdom.", he suddenly said. Rin gave him a confused look. "They always talk about how demons and humans aren't meant to be together in the same world. But if that were true, why are we in the same world?", he asked, looking at Rin for answer.

Ritoshi continued, his blue eyes on the girl. "Being with humans...it seems so natural, as if humans and demons are meant to be together as humanity.

"Does it really matter that you're a human and I'm a demon?", Ritoshi asked, causing Rin to catch his gaze. "I like you. I think you're really pretty and, based on the last time we met, I think that you're funny and sweet. I just really like you, Rin.", he ended, his bright azure eyes clear and his face etched into one of honesty.

Rin blushed a bright red before she turned away, leaving the sound of the pounding live band to fill their ears.

He likes me, he likes me, he likes me, he likes me, HE FREAKING LIKES ME!, Rin screamed, feeling like her heart was going to pound out of her chest. He probably sensed that, too. She looked over at him and saw that he was also looking in the opposite direction, a slight blush on his face.

And he's blushing... Rin found that incredibly cute about him.

"I...I like you, too.", Rin finally said, her face hot in embarrassment. She hated that she was acting like this; like she didn't have any experience. But it was true though; this was her first time confessing such feelings.

"Does it bother you that...I'm not a human?", he asked, his cheeks turning a bright red, causing Rin to grin.

"Of course not. It doesn't matter what you are as long as you're yourself.", Rin answered.

Ritoshi rubbed the back of his neck while giving a sigh of relief. "I'm glad that we feel the same way towards one another.", he answered after a while, nervousness in his voice.

Even though he may not have milord's beauty, he sure beats Lord Sesshomaru in the personality. Rin's mind darkened at the said demon's personality and judgmental look towards her.

He needed to know that she was no longer a little girl; she was almost a woman.

And she was going to prove it.

"Do you want to da- ", Ritoshi started, but Rin cut him off.

"Do you want to ki - oh, I'm sorry, you can go first.", Rin apologized, hating to have such awkwardness enter the atmosphere.

Ritoshi stopped as well, more interested in what he thought he heard coming from her lips. "No, you can go first. What were you going to say?", he asked eagerly as he leaned forward, his blue eyes shinning brighter than Rin thought they could.

Rin scratched the back of her head. She realized that her sudden whim of doing something to prove something to her lord wasn't a good idea. It's not like he would see her kiss Ritoshi anyway. It would be for naught.

Rin shook her head, her curly hair move each and every way. "No really, it's no -"

She was silenced by his lips as he met hers. Her heart fluttered, but after a few seconds she closed her eyes, feeling his hand move into her hair. Everything in the room seemed to slow down; the only thing that was important was this moment.

This is heavenly. Best party ever, thought Rin as she wrapped her arms around the boys neck when he leaned in more, making the kiss more passionate.

Her first kiss...

The music soon stopped abruptly as the door to the house was kicked open and shattered.. Umi's voice was heard among the destruction of the glass doors.

"Mi'lord!", Umi shouted before hitting the floor in a deep bow, her drink being thrown on the floor.

Rin broke her kiss with Ritoshi, quickly moving away from the boy.

The girl was met with angry, golden eyes.

Everyone, even the band, dropped to their knees and bowed before the powerful demon. Everyone except Rin, who was staring in disbelief at those golden eyes.

Rin thought only one thing in her mind as she stared in fear at the golden orbs glaring holes in her very being.

Caught.

I was caught.

If you are a returning guest or follower, you will see that I have revised this chapter. The reason why is because I am going to start on this story. This is no longer a one-shot. Chapter 2 will come out soon. THank you all for waiting so long. Revised 9-17-14
