Chapter 8

After many date with Laxus, Lucy had begin to really, really, like him.

She wasn't sure on why she liked said man so much, but she could tell he was not the same who had once asked her to be his woman, or the man who had held her hostage at Fantasia.

'No, he is different now,' she thought, remembering their first date.

"Where are we going, Laxus?" she asked trying to watch her step, even though it was difficult with the blindfold on.

"You'll see soon," and she could feel him smirk at the sigh she had just let out.

She wasn't annoyed, per se, but she was getting impatient. She had this blindfold on for the longest time and her high heeled clad feet were starting to hurt.

"Here we are."

Laxus slowly removed her blindfold. It took Lucy a couple of seconds to adjust to the dim lighting of the room. She looked around and gasped.

The room was almost completely dark, except for some sort of projections all around a nicely set table.

The projections, however, where the reason Lucy gasped.

They were all constellations.

Needless to say, Lucy was very very impressed.

Lucy smiled as she saw her now boyfriend, enter the guild and take a seat in the bar next to her.

"Mira, a drink please," he said roughly.

"What's wrong?" she asked, worried.

"The Thunder God Tribe is insisting on planning our wedding," he murmured, so Mira wouldn't hear him.

"WHAT?!" yelled the barmaid "HOW DARE THEY?"

Laxus laughed a bit, and Lucy face-palmed.

'Well, it could be worse,' she thought, smiling.
