Like how Sam doesn't know he knows all the names of the characters and the actors that played them on One Tree Hill after Jess made him watch it a million times.

Like how Dean doesn't know he knows the Gangnam Style dance… He won't realize it for another three weeks, and it'll be hilarious.

There are things you know you don't know.

Like how Bobby knows he doesn't know how to get Dean to stop drinking or get Sam to stop screaming at night.

Like how Jo knows she doesn't know what to do to make Dean see her.

Like how John knows he doesn't know what he'll do after he kills the Yellow Eyed Demon.

But there are the things you don't know you don't know.

Like how nobody didn't know they didn't know Sam had demon blood.

Like how they didn't know they didn't know that Dean and Sam were "the fire and oil of the apocalypse."

Like how Sam didn't know he didn't know that all of his most treasured memories were ones that Dean would rather forget.

Like how Dean didn't know he didn't know that Cas would ever let him down.

You have to be really careful with the things you don't know you don't know.

These are the things that kill you.
