So, um... I sort of left this for... An entire year... And 2 months... sorry about that.

I've been meaning to update this for like the past week, and since my friend (Therealholdim) was pestering me about it yesterday I figured I'd do it now!

It may have been a year, but I still don't own it.

A bed post, a ceiling- a crumbling ceiling-, a mirror, too many cobwebs to count. This place is a bigger dump than the market….
As Crow's eyes adjusted to the dim light in the room, he tried to make out where he was. All he could gather was that he was lying in bed, the rest was… blurry. He couldn't seem to remember how he got there or why he was still there. He attempted to pull the covers off of himself but was stopped as pain went shooting through his body, causing him to flop back down onto the pillow

Okay, so I have no idea where I am but I'm in pain. That's just brilliant.

As Crow shifted his weight, he could feel something across his right leg, as if someone had bandaged him. Crow simply resorted to gazing up to the top of the room whilst he waited for someone –anyone- to show up and explain what was going on. He didn't need to wait long, it seemed, as the door creaked open a few minutes later. A boy was stood there holding a first aid box and as his eyes moved to Crow he ran over.

"Hey you're awake!" Crow was slightly worried, there was no reason for him to be at this kid's house, and he'd never met him before. More questions sprung to mind as the boy yelled out of the doorway "Hey Arianna he's awake!" Crow went to stand up again, holding onto the side of the bed but was stopped by the boy. "Whoa mister, you shouldn't get up yet, you're hurt."

"I'm fine, and don't call me 'mister' it's…. wrong. The name's Crow." He retorted as pushed the kid away.

"Like the bird?" He asked excitedly

"Yeah…" Geez, this kid didn't get our much.

"Well I'm Tony, I found you in the market. You seemed pretty bad so I brought you back here." That kid brought me here? Crow thought as he surveyed him he's tiny, how did he even… His thoughts were cut short as Tony continued "Of course, my sister helped with all the first aid and stuff. I guess she's used to it, where is she anyway? ARIANNA." Crow flinched as he yelled again.

"What do you want Tony?" came a girlish voice from across the hall "I just got up…"

"Well so did he!"

"What?" A few seconds later a girl appeared at the door with her gaze at the floor, she was small and had a mess of ginger hair that had been hastily tied in a ribbon. Crow felt as if he'd seen her somewhere before. "Oh, hello." She greeted him without looking in his direction; she fiddled with the ends of her nightdress as Crow spoke.

"Have I met you before? Down at the market place or somethin'?" The girl, Arianna, was still refusing to look at him. Why was she doing that? Tony decided to break the silence by talking about the previous night.

"It was a nightmare getting you here you know, you were right on the other side of town. But I couldn't just leave you there." Crow suddenly remembered what he had been meaning to ask.

"Where is 'here' exactly?" Arianna tapped Tony on the back and whispered something to him, he whispered back and, before Arianna could stop him, he proudly announced that Crow had found himself in Barde Manor.

That was when everything started clicking together. Where he was, who he was talking to and the reason the girl wouldn't face him. He'd heard stories about Barde manor, Stories about the girl inside. No matter what situation he was currently in, he wouldn't forget what had been told to him.

"The witch….." Crow whispered with a small fear building up in his eyes "She's the witch isn't she?" Crow glared between them both, the girl who'd done such horrors to the town and the boy who brought him here. "Why would you bring me to the witch's house?" A small voice piped up from the other side of the room

"Please stop calling me that. I don't like it."

"Well you are the witch. Either you get out or I'm leaving." As he said this Arianna silently left the room, he could hear sobbing and yelling from outside. Tony looked at him with tears welling in his eyes and left the room as well, leaving Crow alone to contemplate what he'd done.

Okay so, I'm currently on Study leave so my only commitments right now are 2 exams, my Inquisitor Darklaw cosplay and a school production of Grease, which means stories should be more frequently updated. (If there are any particular stories people want me to update, just pester me about it. you've got clear proof that it works)
