Chapter seven

Rose's point of view

"You can't be Andre! He's dead!" I exclaimed pushing Lissa behind me further. I wanted to know who this imposter was.

"I'm Andre," he said to us. He looked passed our heads towards the forest. I turned my head to see what he was seeing, but I couldn't see anything. What was he looking at? His face suddenly paled. His breathing came out in short gasps. He turned his jade green eyes back onto us, and he turned serious. "It would be best if the both of you come inside. It's not safe out in the open."

"How can we trust you? We know that it is not possible for you to be here right now? You're dead! How can we trust an imposter?"

He huffed. "Two days before we got into the car accident I took you aside and told you that I thought you'd be perfect for guarding my sister. That she needed someone special to always look after her."

My jaw dropped. How did he know of that conversation? That was the last time that we had a one on one conversation. "How is it possible?"

"Rose," said Lissa, as she pulled on the back of my shirt. "Rose, I think we should go in, now."

"Why?" I asked turning around. My eyes widen at what I saw. Behind us were three wolves. There were patches of their bones showing where there was no fur, which was only on their heads. They had bright red eyes and no pupils. Foam and saliva running down their muzzles. "I think we should go in."

I pushed Lissa in front of me before running into the cottage myself. I slammed the door behind me, just as I heard a bunch of slams against the front door. You could hear several painfilled howls fill the air.

"That was a close call," said Andre walking further into the room. He sat down on a blue chair right by a small fireplace that had a dying fire. He threw in two medium sized logs into the flames. He turned his head towards us. "You can take a seat. I won't bite."

Lissa and I walked towards a small black with white striped love seat. Lissa and I sat down on the seat before Lissa blurted out, "How are we seeing you? What about our parents? Can we see them too? What do you need to tell us? How can we physically be in the same room as each other?"

"Calm down, Lissa," said Andre, with an amused smile on his face. He then turned serious. "All of that will be told in time."

"What were those monsters?" I asked him.

Andre winced. "I was wondering when you would ask that. Their guardians of the forest. They make sure that everyone stays out of that forest that's not supposed to be in there. Which are you two, and they tend to keep the living out. They don't effect the dead since the only ones are dead are allowed here. Where in the afterlife. Don't worry your not dead. You were brought here for a purpose."

"Alright," I said. "Can you stop beating around the bush and just tell us what's going on?"

"I was getting to that," he said glaring at me. "I forgot how impatient you can get. The two of you were never supposed to be separated that long. You never gave the bond that you share time to regrow."

"I died taking the bond away," I said to him. "Three spirit users even confirmed that the bond broke."

"There are two different shadow kissed bonds. The first is a regular bond which you saw between Avery are her two goons. The second one is the strongest, which is the one that you and Lissa have. That bond will never go away. No matter on how many times you die and she heals you or someone else brings you back. The second bond involves a soulmate or soul sibling bond. You both have a soul sisters bond and the shadow-kissed bond intertwined with each other. Those bonds are impossible to break apart. Since you have been away from each other for so long the bond took awhile for you to get the perks of being shadow-kissed again; communications through thoughts and reading each other's minds, feeling each other's emotions, sensing Strigoi, and there a few others that you both need to figure out yourselves."

"Wait you said for the both of us?" Asked Lissa. "Will this bond be both ways this time?"

"Yes," he said. "It will also be easier for the both of you to take care of the darkness. I will leave you both to figure that out."

I groaned. I thought that I would finally be free of Lissa's darkness.

"Since that is out of the way," he said, rubbing his hands together. "The bond will awaken once you leave this place, so you won't need to be worried about that right now. The main reason that the two of you have been brought here is because someone has been stealing our souls. Mom and Dad's souls have been taken so was Mason's. They have been pulled out from here, along with some other unknown Moroi and dhampir souls. Are souls never left this other side, so this started concerning all of us."

"How can we help?" Asked Lissa, concern clearly written on her face. "Where alive and all of them are dead? How can we help the dead?"

"Whatever is happening to all of their souls is connected with what's going on with the two of you. We know that it was someone working with Tasha that gave you the necklace Lissa. They want Rose out of the way no matter what."

"Tasha's behind bars," I told him. She surprisingly was still waiting to be executed for murdering the previous queen. "Besides, I'm not with Dimitri anymore. She shouldn't be going after me anymore."

"Everyone is born with five soul mates out there. Dimitri is one of yours along with Edward Cullen. Dimitri and Emily are also soul mates but their bond isn't that strong as yours was to him. Edward's bond to you is the same strength as the one towards Dimitri's. Lissa and Christan are also souls mates. They are what you call an alpha soulmate. They both found their highest match." He took in a deep breath before he turned towards his sister. "Now there are some things that I'm going to reveal that neither of you are going to like it. First, Tasha escaped jail a day ago with the help of some of the court guardians that are secretly working for her. Since she's out she's nowhere in the U.S., right now. She is currently recuperating as we speak. Second of all the Strigoi are planning to attack three royal families that are located in Italy. They get the attention of the Volturi, for killing in their town. It makes them realize that there, not the only vampires that are alive. They will be a help in the future. So try to get along with them even though that you and several others don't like their feeding style. The third is you need to get Bella over her obsession on Edward. Once you do that the bond will take place between her and her true soulmate. Lissa your job is to get Dimitri, Christian, Emily, Jill, and Roses parents off of the compulsion charm. You need to figure out what each of them got and take it off of them. Yes, Rose, your paranoid parents have been affected by the same thing as the others. They do love and deeply care for you."

"I really thought that they hated me and wanted to raise their new baby away from me," I whispered.

"They don't hate you. Besides the charm that's on them, they're nervous to be around you since they don't know how to tell you that they plan on raising this child. They know deep down that you're going to be slightly jealous that they will be raising this child together," he explained.

"I'm a little jealous," I admitted. "I'm even more upset that they decided I wasn't good enough to be around them anymore."

"That's not true, Rose," said Lissa, squeezing my hand.

"Lissa's right," said Andre. "They both love you. It's that compulsion charm that they wearing is affecting them a lot."

"Is there any more surprises?" I asked.

"There's more," said Andre. "Lissa when you get back I want you to go through every paperwork in the past six weeks that you have worked on. There are some stuff hidden in between those laws that will eventually get passed if you don't read them with a fine comb. If these laws get passed it will change the Moroi and dhampir world as we know it and not in a good way."

"Do you know what some of those laws are?" Lissa asked.

"I only know of one," he admitted. "It effects dhampir woman and not the way that your thinking."

"It can't be that bad," said Lissa.

Andre shook his head at her. "You don't get it. If that law gets passed all female dhampirs from fifteen to the age of thirty will be forced to become a sex slave to a male Moroi, even if the Moroi is married. The dhampir would need to get pregnant by that Moroi three times than their switched to a different moroi. Until all dhampirs have at least nine or more kids. They wouldn't be able to raise their children. They will automatically be sent to an academy or be sold to a Moroi as a server until they reach the age of fifteen unless there a boy which they will stay at the academy until they become a guardian."

"They can't do that!" Shouted Lissa as she stood up from the couch. She started pacing back and forth between the living room and small dining room that I haven't noticed before. She muttered curse words underneath her breath. "They can't make them a breeding factory. I will get to the bottom of that. If I find out who wrote that one in there then their not going to like what I will do to them."

"That's the worst one," he said.

"Are they any more surprises that we're not gonna like?" I asked him.

"I think that I covered almost everything," he said. "Now, when both of use go back you're going to need to look up everything on Tasha. No matter how big nor small. Try to find out who she hangs around the most. They also might be working with her. Lissa you're going to be doing a lot more than Rose, right now. You need to go through all those papers, get the others off of the compulsion charm, including Roses parents. Rose you need to get Bella off of her Edward obsession and get her to her soul mate, who happens to be one of the la push boys. You need to befriend the Volturi. Both of use need to find out about the missing souls. If there is anything the other side needs to tell you I will be the messager. Now it's time to send the both of you back."

Edwards point of view

"What do you want Bella?" I asked as I followed her outside of the house. I didn't know if I still trusted her the same amount as when I first met her. "I need to get back to Rose. I don't want to leave her alone."

"I understand," she whispered. "I just wanted to know why you brought her here so soon after getting together?"

"I wasn't going to let her stay there," I told her even though she didn't even know since it was none of her business. "Besides, she wanted to help any way she can."

"I just don't see how she can help us," stated Bella.

"Rose had years of training," I told her. "I'm sure between her and Jasper they will come up with a good plan on getting rid of Victoria's army."

Bella's eyes widened. "You're going to let her near Jasper? You never willingly let me be near Jasper. You always told me he wasn't safe to be near human blood for long amounts of time."

"Roses blood doesn't smell like food to us," I told her. "Besides, I never said that about Jasper. I was being cautious about you getting a paper cut and he loses his control. Surprisingly, bloodlust is an emotion that he can feel. He wouldn't be able to stop himself especially when he is also fighting five others people's bloodlust on top of his own."

Bella's smile faded from her face. "I just thought that we might have been able to pick up where we left off at before you ran away."

"Things change, Bella, I found Rose. She's perfect for me. I know that she will make my undead life a bit more interesting."

"Screw this," she muttered before she grabbed my head and pulled me down for a kiss.

"What the hell is going on here?" Shouted Jake as he walked out from the woods. His face was a light pink from his anger. "You couldn't just have one girl you need two."

"I didn't kiss her. She is the one who kissed me," I stated. Why did I follow her outside? I should have had a feeling that she was going to do something like this.

Bella smirked. It looked unnatural on her. "What will Rose say when she finds out that you kissed me?"

"I saw the whole thing," stated Rose. I looked up and saw that she was hanging on the tree branch near Carlisle's office. Carlisle and Esme had their heads sticking out the opened window. They were watching Rose with concern. Rose jumped down from the tree and landed right next to me. She tilted her head to the side. She looked Bella up and down. "I know that you kissed Edward. In fact, I saw you kiss him. I'm going to say this once. Stop being obsessive over him. He broke up with you. He doesn't love you anymore. You need to move on. Right now your acting like a child that had their toy taking away from you. Grow up."

"Don't talk to her like that," growled Jake as he started shaking.

Rose snorted. "You think that will scare me you have another thing coming."

"Why?" Asked Bella in a slight whisper. "Why couldn't you have just stayed with me? I know that she's not the one who's right for you."

"That is not your choice," said Rose as she took another step closer towards Bella. "A relationship takes two people to work. If one of them is unhappy in that relationship then it's not going to work, especially when one is so obsessed with the other person. In fact, I find it really creepy."

"I wasn't talking to you," Bella growled out. "I was talking to Edward."

"Bella, please stop, I have made my choice and I'm sticking by it," I told her. Sometimes I wonder what I ever saw in her. "I'm with Rose now. I want you to respect that choice. I did love you once, but my feeling for you have changed into friendship."

Bella blinked, trying to hide the fact that she might have burst into tears. I hated that I was so mean to her, bit it needed to be done.

"You don't need to be so mean to her," growled out Jake.

"She needed to hear that," said Rose, as she walked right in front of Jake. She glared at him. She poked him in the chest. "He left her. It was his decision to move on from her. She needs to respect his wishes. He still wants to be friends with her but that's it."

"Jake," said Carlisle, as he walked over to us. "I think that it is time for you to leave. Everyone has been worked up today with all that has happened. Tell, Sam, that I will get into contact with him tomorrow to let him know when we should start the training back up."

"Alright," said Jake, as he nodded his head. He gave Bella a quick hug. He then glared at me and my girlfriend, before he took off into the forest.

"That was eventful," said Rose, as she ran her fingers through her hair.

"I'll say," mutter Rosalie, as she and the others stood behind us.

"Come on, Bella, let's go somewhere to quietly to talk," said Alice, as she dragged Bella to her car.

"Do you know why you passed out?" asked Carlisle.

"Yeah," said Rose as she moved closer towards me.

Rose Point of view

Should I tell them the truth, I thought to Lissa.

If you trust them, came her reply. I think that they can help us.

Jasper tilted his head to the side. He had a confused look on his face. "Why does it feel like you have two sets of emotions, Rose?"

"Let's just stay it's a long story and I think that it would be more comfortable if were all sitting down for it."

We made our way into the Cullen's living room. After we all got comfortable, I replied everything that happened to me and Lissa in that afterlife dimension.

"Are you sure that this all happened and is not some type of dream?" asked Jasper, as he started pacing back and forth through the Cullen's living room.

"I'm one hundred percent sure that it wasn't a dream," I told them. I turned towards Edward, "You have read my thoughts when I let you. Where there any other voices inside of my head?"

"No," said Edward, as he frowned, as I opened up my mind to him.

Rose, said Lissa through the bond. I took care of that necklace. No one should find it unless there looking for it. I can't believe that we have the bond back.

I know, I told her.

"How is this possible?" asked Edward in amazement. He turned towards his family."She's right. Everything she has told us is absolutely true."

"We can't let other female dhampir's become sex slaves," said Rosalie, as she held onto Emmet's arm.

"Rosalie's right," said Esme, her eyes held a fierce determination.

"Were in." said Carlisle.

Emmett flexed his muscles, before pulling Rosalie closer to him. "I always love a good fight."

"How are we going to get the Volturi on board?" asked Jasper. "If they come here they will notice that Bella knows the secret and we haven't changed her?"

"I have an idea if that ever happens," I told him. I was thinking about the alchemists tattoos that they have. I think that would work on Bella if the Volturi ever found out about her. "In my world, there are humans who known about us and have kept our secret throughout each generation. They generally cover up the vampire world. Fights between drunken Moroi, strigoi kills, are just a few that they help us out with. They each have a golden Lily tattoo on their cheeks. That tattoo has Moroi blood and compulsion in them, which compels them to not talk about the vampiric world to people that are not in on the secret. The only downside if she can get a tattoo is that she would need to be reinked every three months."

"That might work," said Carlisle. "I just don't think that Bella would want to get a tattoo on her face."

"She wouldn't get one on her face," I told him. "Only alchemist do. She can get one on her arm if she likes or really anywhere."

"I'll do it," said Bella as she walked into the room with Alice at her side. "They are the only family that I have left. I'm not going to let them get into trouble for me knowing their secret. How fast can I get the tattoo?"

"I will need to make a call," I said. "Alchemist don't like dhampirs. They think that we are dominations. I know one alchemist that helped me get out of some trouble."

I took my phone out of my shorts pocket. I scrolled through my contacts until I landed on Sydney's name. I dialed her number. It rang twice before she picked up.

"Hello, Rose," came Sydney's voice from the other side of my cell.

"I need your help," I told her. "How soon can you and Adrian get to Forks, Washington. We're going to need you to bring your Alchemist stuff."

I could hear slightly muttering from the background. "Adrian and I can meet you tomorrow at four."

"Thank you, Sydney," I told her. "I think you might want to rent a hotel room. There are a lot of things that we need to talk about, and I think that both of you will want in."

"Alright Rose," said Sydney, sighing. "I need to go there is someone trying to flirt with Adrian."

"Will she be on board?" asked Alice, as she sat near her husband.

"If I know Sydney as I do. I think that she will help us."

"Let's hope so," said Jasper, as he started out the living room window. "If not we will be in some serious trouble."
