In a rooftop overlooking a coliseum-like building stood four figures surrounded by a purple barrier surrounded by four figures surrounded by another purple barrier. All in all, standard Tuesday in Konohagakure No Sato, really.

Well, except the ninja trying to kill each other on the street. That was more of a Wednesday kind of thing.

Orochimaru blinked. "Why aren't you obeying me?" he asked, conversationally, looking at the perfectly still body of the Nidaime Hokage he'd just brought back from the dead.

Senju Tobirama, Nidaime Hokage, water jutsu expert and all around hardass, scoffed at him. "If you know the seals, you can counter the jutsu." He said, simply. "And I invented this, you brat, you really thought it'd work on me?"

"… To be honest, I kind of did. I didn't know that part." Orochimaru admitted.

Tobirama walked up to where Hashirama was apologizing profusely while engaging in melee combat against Hiruzen and pulled the control tag out of his brother.

"Ah! That's good! That thing was really cold! And it was lodged in a very uncomfortable way!"

"Sensei, you're back in control of your body!" Hiruzen cried, sounding like a cheerful little boy and not like the seventy-or-close-to-it ninja he was.

"Hiruzen, I'm back from the dead!"

"Sensei!"

"Hiruzen!"

"SILENCE!" Tobirama yelled, glaring at the two of them.

Orochimaru looked around. Then he realized he was caught in his own barrier. He was locked in with three Hokage, one of which was so powerful that asskickery was coded onto his DNA. And they were all glaring at him right now.

There really was only one reaction any man could have to this kind of predicament, really. Two immortal words that could express his true feelings over this most dire of situations.

"Well, shit." He declared, looking slightly annoyed.
