It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that I am done with this story. I truly am sorry to everyone who had been reading and enjoying the story so far, but my passion for it has waned over the last few years. Originally I had been unsatisfied with the beginning of the story and was planning to edit the first couple of chapters and hoping that would give me inspiration/motivation, but now I don't even want to do that. As I've evolved as an author, and gone through various experiences both as a person and as a writer, my priorities have shifted.

I love Mega Man, and Forever Clockwork was a way for me to have fun in the fandom, and I always had a general idea for the ending of the story, based off what is hinted at in Megaman X and future installments of the Megaman series as far as Wily's demise, but now I just can't come up with the details. I'm a little sad about this because I worked so hard on this story, and there were only a few chapters left, but it's been a coupe of years since I updated this story, and the last chapter was a real struggle to write, and my muse is a finicky bitch.

Since I began this story, I published several novels, and have plans to write more, including a couple of science fiction stories, and writing Forever Clockwork has really inspired me for some original ideas based off the themes I explored in this story, so sometime in the future, soon enough, hopefully I will have a pretty nifty science fiction novel published. I've always been a huge sci-fi nerd.

Again, my apologies to those who had been enjoying this story. It was absolutely not an easy decision to make, and I struggled with it for a couple of years before surrendering to the inevitable. I had a lot of fun writing this, and my love for Mega Man has not lessened.

Sadly, Archie Comics ended their Megaman series at the 55th issue, and though it's supposed to be nothing more than a hiatus, it seems with with the problems with the company, the series truly is over. Oh well, it was good while it lasted, and the series itself and artwork was pretty enjoyable, so I will always cherish my Megaman graphic novel collection.

I also really recommend Megaman Megamix/Gigamix by Hitoshi Ariga. The original English-language release was six manga volumes, but last year, the collection started to be re-released with larger pages as well as color, so even if you have the original manga collection, the new Mastermix series is still worth checking out. I absolutely love Ariga's art style!

I have no commentary on Mega Man 11, as I do not own any of the new gaming platforms and have no opportunity to play the game, but I've heard good things about it.

If you liked this story, I hope you check out my other works, or my novels, which can be bought from Amazon among other sites, under the author name M.M. Kin. I also have a Facebook, Tumblr, Smashwords, etc etc, so you can follow me in other places, but I will continue to be a presence here as I still dabble in fanfic. I also write book reviews on Goodreads under the name M.M. Strawberry.

Have a fantastic day!
